LET'S GET DIGITAL does NOT rate 1 star. They 'talk the talk', but are incapable of giving good service for a repair, etc. I purchased a re-furb computer from them and they were going to download the hard drive from my computer. They didn't download my hard drive and had two different excuses why they couldn't, including that it crashed. They, therefore, lost the last few years photos of my deceased parents and many other important shots. I found out that they had given me an old 80 MB hard drive, but they partitioned it so that I could only use 25MB. They said that it would take 3 days to get the re-furb ready to go, I called to see if it was. No answer, no response to my message. This went on for several days. I went to the shop, was greeted by smiles, and given excuses why it wasn't ready. I waited, more calls, no answer, no reply to messages. I went to the shop, he wasn't so nice when I wanted answers, gave up and went home. It took 3 weeks and I took a police officer with me to get my computer. Do NOT deal with this con man especially if you're a WOMAN. There are many people in Lakefield that had problems with this guy.

I've had a fantastic experience with Let's Get Digital! They recently came to Portage Place, and they're extremely knowledgeable, answer all of my questions, and have a great sense of humour. I know thay if I have any technology that needs repairing, I'll bring it to them. As I work in Portage, it's easy for me to look over and see David and Chris constantly working on repairs that they have, and putting in serious hours and effort to do so. They also have a lot of interesting merchandise in the store (I've probably bought more than I should considering bills are a thing), but it's fantastic stuff, at a good price, and it's always good to support a local business. I'm actually in the process of looking into getting a website through their hosting service, and I have every confidence that if I do, I will be satisfied with the product. The same with the laptop I believe I'll be buying from them later this summer. Thanks for coming to Portage guys! You're a great addition!

The staff are always friendly and do everything they can to ensure you get what you need in a timely manner. They are great guys to deal with. Every time I visit their store I always leave with a smile on my face and feeling helped. 10/10 would recommend.

I made an error in giving it one star. If you would like to hand your device over to this store, have them keep it for over five months and lose your power cord and or other items, this is the store for you! Over the course of five months, none of my emails received a response. I visited the store and it took them 15 minutes to find me in the system. My laptop was in storage. I have visited the store numerous times in the last five months only to be told they old have it the following week. Despite promises to call me, they never did. I would head back in to be told the same thing. Five months later, they found the laptop but lost my power cord and an important disc. For over three weeks now Chris ( employee ) has promised to order one. Last Friday he said it would definitely be in Wednesday, June 8. A friend picked up my laptop today, June 4, and said the power cord would now arrive in 2 weeks. An added bonus to this news is the fact that Letsgetdigital has never done any repairs to my laptop! This has been a frustrating and bizarre experience. STAY AWAY!
