We recently took a trip to Jasper and stopped in to inquire about bike rentals. We had never mountain biked before. Randall and Elsie set us all up with really nice bikes. Randall mapped out the perfect trail for us and even added a more difficult trail we could try once we were comfortable. The trails around Jasper are phenomenal! We ride for 4 hours in the most beautiful scenery. You pay when you return which is nice so you don’t feel stressed about getting back by a certain time. I was shocked at how reasonable the rates were in such a tourist area. Highly recommend this bike shop!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The mountain bikes we rented were in great condition. Randle was kind enough to provide us with maps and walked us through a very gorgeous route. We left with a big smile considering how friendly and approachable everyone was.

The best Bike Shop in Jasper. Randall is a friendly, personable individual who really listens to his customers needs and provides helpful advice. I bought a used demo bike and been riding it non-stop this fall. Had a few adjustments done as well - turned out perfect and repaired for way less $ than I would have expected. - thanks Randall!

He completed a minor repair on my bike but bigger yet, he set up two guys from USA who were embarking on a grand adventure. He pulled off a new bike (in this COViD short supply era) and put smiles on their faces to start there journey south. Huge kudos !

Recently had an old beater mountain bike serviced by Randall. I had extremely fast turnaround and the work he did had me riding the old beauty the very next day. Service rates were very reasonable, especially for someone with Randall's level of expertise. Overall excellent service and a pleasant experience.

Rented an e-mountain bike, price was reasonable, the the bikes were basic quality. The made some good recommendations on trails to ride. The service was lacking, they refuse to adjust the brakes and gear lever on the bike. I was told I couldn’t make any adjustments on their bike either. In hindsight should have left the bike because it made the whole experience uncomfortable and on the technical parts of the trail it didn’t make me feel safe.

Great shop. We rented a couple of electric mountain bikes to ride around Jasper. The people at the store were very kind and helpful. Their advice on which bike to rent was excellent. The rental fee was fair. Next time I visit Jasper I will rent again from them. I highly recommend.

Service is ok but they didn't want to honor pricing that's on their website. On their website there's an option of renting ebike for 2hr while in store they only rented for 4 hours.

Had an awesome day on a rental bike. Reasonable rental rates. More importantly they gave me a trail map with great recommendations for a full day, ~65 km, of trail riding. Will rent from the Bench Bike Shop again on my next trip to Jasper.

Had such a wonderful experience in this bike shop! From the minute we stepped in to the store we felt so welcomed. Rented bikes for a few hours to explore the mountains, the bikes were Kona blasts and were in incredible shape! Basically brand new. You can see they are well looked after. The employee (May have been the owner) also provided us with a map and took the time to recommend some trails that would be great for us and our young kids. I would definitely say he went above and beyond what we expected, incredible customer service experience!

Awesome Service. We had travelled to Jasper to do some biking. My riding buddy crashed and the Bench guys got his bike in right away to check it out and make sure it was safe to continue riding. We only missed one afternoon of riding thanks to their understanding and awesome service. The fee to check it out and service it was was less than we expected. Excellent shop.

We’re glad we rented bikes from here for the day. Randall was really helpful and provided us with a map and routes for our day. Helmets and bikes fit great and rode really well. Service was great, Randall was helpful to us when we were lost at the end of the day which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend and rent again from here !

Awesome day renting the Kona Blast and awesome customer service. We were given some tips and recommendations for trails and had an absolutely perfect day. I’d like to say I’ll be back but I fell in love with the bike so much I might have to go out and buy my own. Definitely would recommend to others though.
