I don't give negative reviews very often however, this deserves one...they were less than helpful with answering my questions. I started with an email NO response, followed up with a phone a call, CSR didn't have the information on the product available and told me to refer to their website. The whole reason I was calling was BECAUSE THE WEBSITE HAD NO PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. Simple things were missing on site, and couldn't be answered.. is it 1080p monitor, what's the refresh rate, what input are available, what brands are used in their kits. They couldn't even provide model numbers so I could find out information on the manufacturers website.
{A little long sorry} I am truly impressed with this company. A few months back I purchased a refurbished laptop from them through the bestbuy website. I've never purchased from a third party on best buy. So my expectations were that of what I have experienced in the past using best buy website. Fast. I ordered once at 9pm and the item was here at 9am. (Mississauga to Ottawa). I needed the laptop urgently. As I had pressing work items to complete and my laptop wasn't cutting the juice I required. Ordered Thurs night. Nothing came Fri. Uhoh. I contact bestbuy and the issue was fully mine. My visa debit had a daily online max and I was over. As they only charge when it's being shipped it slipped by and was too late to be shipped before the weekend. Monday comes and I can't get anybody to verify my new laptop is on it's way. My deadline is coming up and in freak out mode I complain to bestbuy Monday night. First thing Tuesday morning my phone is ringing, email blown up. A representative from Microcad company is apparently in panic mode also. Calling to assure me she is personally having the laptop quality checked and will have it sent. Tuesday I didnt get tracking info so I called her. When she returned my call I was busy. So she left a message. I also got a message from bestbuy. The laptop was not sent. This is the message. "I do apologize but when we put this unit through our testing process, it did not pass, and we do not have anymore in stock. We have found an upgrade that we would like to send you in its place: HP ZBook 15U G5 Mobile i7 8650U 15GB RAM 256GB SSD and windows 10 Pro. If this is acceptable to you we will ship this out right now. Due to the delay I am waiving your shipping fees and we will ship this at our cost for the inconvenience." What? Are you kidding me? I felt like I won the lottery. This replacement is a whole next generation from what I bought but also has upgraded components. I was beyond happy because I will be able to do so much more with this. From there on everything went smooth. It's been about three months since. I was hesitant to write a review right away as I still had this thought of "what's the catch". There isn't one. The laptop is like a dream come true. I've been able to pump out tons with it. So much so that I haven't had time to go and write a proper thank you and review. So here it is. Thank you. Thank you Microcad and especially Madeha. It's not too often you run by a company that cares. She represents what every customer is always looking for in good old customer service. Madeha and the rest of Microcad, I appreciate what you've done for me. Thanks and I hope this review helps other customers make their choice in choosing Microcad. PS- The purchase I origianlly made clearly informed me that delivery is usually a week depending on what part of the country. I didn't notice it until after this whole thing. Microcad did not have to do any of what they did. Making it truly genuine in how they handled my situation in my urgency and going above and beyond.

I bought a chromebook for my son at bestbuy via Microcad as an online market place seller. The item broke and was covered under the one year warranty so they said to ship it to microcad in London. I received an email that I could either pay to have it fixed and it would cost more than it was worth, or i could buy another chromebook. These options are unacceptable and lacks customer service. What is the point of having a warranty if they won't honor it? Ridiculous. I will be opening a claim with the better business bureau. I will never buy anything from them again. Buyer beware.
They were closed when I arrived. However, staff happened to be working on something and allowed me to purchase a laptop, headphones and order a server/tower. Fabulous place, first to be in, second, to do this on a day off.

I bought a Core i5 refurbished Dell E7240 laptop from them on best buy. Arrived in around 2 days. Amazing price for the configuration and really speedy as well. Would definitely Recommend!

If there is a zero start I would give Zero. Alert!!! Stay away from this company. I bought a refurbished laptop from this company from Bestbuy, but what I got is a non-functional laptop. The screen keeps flashing. I filled out the service ticket and called them several times. No one answered and only allowed you to leave message. No one contacted you and I left them voice mail again. Still no response. A very unprofessional company and tried to scam you! I will report to BBB and other consumers platform.

Bad company with bad management
The refurbished laptop I got is fine and working well and I am happy with it, but their delivery service was bad at the beginning: they sent me a wrong model and I had to return the item and wait for the new one and all this put me about a month behind and all they did was to waive the delivery fee.

I have left several messages and sent an email to which I have received no response. The laptop I bought from Tiger Direct was refurbished by them. The laptop is 7 months old and will not turn on.
I couldn't be more disappointed with this company. I discovered them through the BestBuy Marketplace and I thought surely, if BestBuy works with them then they must be reputable. But I couldn't have been more wrong. I ordered my mum, who knows nothing about computers but needed a new laptop, a simple ChromeBook so she could check e-mails and Facebook and watch the occasional YouTube tutorial. Right from the start this machine was a problem, as well as this company. First of all, they shipped the computer with the wrong charging cord. After waiting three weeks after my initial attempts to contact them, they finally responded and sent me a new charging cord. Unfortunately the new charging cord was STILL the wrong size. After THREE attempts on their end (I guess they don't know computers very well....) they finally sent the right cable. Not even a month later my mom began having issues with the computer where it either freezes sporadically or the screen just blacks out and it doesn't function anymore until she hard kills it and leaves it for a while. I reached out again and after trying all of their troubleshooting suggestions and STILL having problems they began ignoring my messages and I had to get BestBuy involved. Now they want me to send the lemon computer they had the audacity to sell me back on MY OWN EXPENSE? Get real. I do not recommend this company whatsoever. Be careful.

I made purchase of 5 laptops at Best Buy website on discounted retail price listed as Market Place product ,I paid $35 for express delivery but didn't receive anything.I reached out to Best Buy and they mentioned vendor cancelled the order & they said they will have to talk to the Marketplace Vendon which is Microcad Computer Corporation & take no responsibility for such action so why list them in the first place at Best Buy.Despite waiting for days and no response I called the vendor and they said they take no responsibility for any price error as it was a mistake where as now they are selling the same product 4X the price it was earlier listed.I would suggest its better to buy anywhere else other than this Vendor.First they list the product on discounted price and then they cancel the order and increase the price for their benefit and waste people time for no reason.

On Feb. 21, 2020 I ordered an HP Probook for school and I barely use the device. Last month I noticed the laptop stopped charging and only works while plugged in. When I ran diagnostics, it said that the battery is reporting a failure and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. I sent Microcad an email the same day (January 8, 2021) and they told me that unfortunately the accessoires are only covered under a 90 day warranty and offered to send a quote for the battery. I found it unfortunate but agreed to a quote as I am starting a course on February 17th. It is now February 9th and I had to send a follow-up email because I have yet to receive a quote. I purchased this with the trust that the device would work as expected and not even a year later the battery has failed. I'm considering purchasing a brand new laptop and I find it rather unfortunate considering I barely got to use this one to its full potential. I will never purchase another refurbished product for the simple fact that they cannot guarantee its life expectancy.
We asked about the possibility of purchasing a laptop for a young friend in need of help. The response was so helpful and the person so delighted to receive it. They have had no problem with it and it came equipped with the latest updates. We are so grateful for all the help and the speedy response to our request with just the right laptop. I ordered two laptops refurbished by Microcad and unfortunately one shipped with a bad/failing battery. In the packaging there was instructions to contact them first before returning to the vendor and other than a small delay in their response they came through and remedied the situation. If I lived near there I would most certainly do further business with them. Other than the bad battery issue the two laptops are in fantastic shape considering they are used/refurbished.

Bought a refurbished MacBook Pro through Best Buy was advertised as Grade A+ 10/10 condition and would be shipped in original Apple box. The item arrived on December 19, 2019. Not in A+ 10/10 condition it has cosmetic damage on the lid and keyboard pad and not in original Apple box. This MacBook Pro works fine. I have contacted Microcad via Best Buy contact the seller more than 6 times, emailed them directly 4 times and phoned them. Their voice mail said I would get a call back within 4 hours, that was three weeks ago. They have not returned my call or answered my emails. I sent photos and requested a 10% refund of purchase price for their false advertising and my inconvenience. After escalating again my January 7 contact the vendor on the Best Buy site. Best Buy told me Microcad responded with an offer of $30 about 2.25% of the purchase price or return the MacBook Pro for a refund take or leave it. Microcad never shared the $30 offer with me... only after I contacted Best Buy again did Best Buy tell me about it. I'm so frustrated with Microcad for their false advertising and complete lack of customer service. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would.

I purchased one of their refurbished gaming PCs through Bestbuy. It arrived and when we hooked it up it had no video display. I've called the company every day for a week! The answering machine says they will contact you within 6 business hours. No call backs yet! My son saved up for this machine and this was a hard lesson in wasted money.

Bought a computer from them via Bestbuy, price was good but it came with an initial problem that someone with no computer knowledge wouldn't be able to resolve on their own. I'm an amateur geek, I've built 5 custom gaming PCs before, repaired laptops and mobile phones at multiple instances so I know my stuff. The only reason I'm buying a pre-made computer like this one is for a gift to someone who just needs an everyday computer at a great price. The computer I received from them (that they refurbished and tested and packaged like new), wouldn't start on the first try, basically booting for 1 second then turning off and on. Being the good geek that I am, I knew right away this is most likely one of the RAM bar that defaults. I open the computer and right away I see the RAM is installed on slot 1 and 3 (which is fine for some motherboard) whereas the map inside the computer case clearly states the order must be followed thus slot 1 and 2 must be used. Note that slit number 2 is under a fan, so you have to remove the fan first, put the RAM and then put the fan back on. So I switched the RAM from slot 3 to slot 2, plug it in and tada it works, computer is fixed. I ran diagnostic afterwards and everything looks fine, the computer runs great, and I'm sure it will last long. The only problem is, if someone has zero knowledge in PC they wouldn't be able to boot the computer as is. It also makes you think twice about the "test" they perform. Overall, it's a good price/deal, and their customer service responded to me within 12 hours of leaving my initial review, which is great. I'm going to keep the computer.
Stay away at all costs. I purchased 3 laptops from these crooks. One of them has a faulty memory and it started acting up a couple weeks after purchase. As the issue intensified, I decided to report it, but I happened to report it after the 30 day warranty period. Now they have no interest in helping to repair the faulty product they sold me. Even though there are logs on the computer showing failures during the 30 day warranty period, they will not help me. Well done, great way to earn the trust of your customers.

It took two weeks and a couple of emails from me but it finally arrived. Good condition, no scratches but, they sent me the wrong PC. The box it was shipped in had the correct label but an older slower PC was inside. I've submitted a contact seller form, so we'll see what the resolution is. After a week of emails and phone calls, I've had absolutely NO RESPONSE. I called their main store in London. Finally got ahold of a person and she promised delivery for Monday before Christmas. After realizing it wasn't coming on Monday, I called again and was promised for Tuesday, Christmas Eve. I must admit they are polite when they lie to you. Updates to come

Purchased a PC on Newegg that came with a warranty from Microcad. About two months in the laptop started experiencing motherboard issues, so I contacted them and sent it to them for repair. TWO MONTHS LATER I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY LAPTOP BACK! They have stopped responding to any requests for updates on the ticket. UPDATE: They finally got back to me after several months. Claimed problems with their ticketing system. Lost our laptop. Sent us another one. Can't recommend ever doing business with this company.

The laptop I purchased was listed as grade b refurbished, meaning it contained scratches and scuffs but was otherwise fully operational and functional. Once I received the laptop (on Nov. 27th 2020, only 5 days after purchasing it) , at first glance the appearance looked great. There was some very minor scratches from normal wear and one corner of the back of the LCD screen case had a small crack. No scuff marks at all on the screen. Then I powered it on. It was immediately noticeable that there were many dead or hot pixels in the screen which caused it to look like there was blotches and streaks. That is not cosmetic, that is a broken LCD screen. The cracked corner made a lot of sense now. The problem is, the seller could have easily verified this by powering it on - or they knew about it and willing lied about it in the description. They were quick to respond when I requested a return, but due to (what I can only assume) some limitations of their NewEgg "portal" for communicating with the customer, they couldn't see the photos I took. A company email address was provided so I could send the photos for review. Later that day, I was emailed back from this same company email address stating that my request for return was approved. I was issued an RMA ticket# and shipping label directly from the seller on Dec 1st, 2020. Since this was my first time dealing with a marketplace seller return, little did I know the seller was required to go through NewEgg. On December 11th, I emailed the employee asking for a status update as the UPS tracking information showed that the laptop was received by the same employee on Dec 7th at 12:33pm. I did not receive any email response back. On Dec. 15th I called and left a voicemail with my RMA ticket number and requested a status update and callback, I never received a call. The next day on the 16th, I called again and spoke to someone who located my ticket number and informed me the laptop had just come out of quarantine as per their policy. Alright, that makes sense and verifies they indeed have the device back. So I asked how long for the repair or replacement and they said they would get the technician to give me a call back. Nobody called. I called again on Dec. 23rd but had no response until I called their sales line. Someone answered, looked up my ticket number, and said they would get the tecnician to call me back that day. Nobody called. I've called on Dec. 29th and 30th, again with no answer - on the 30th of 2020 I called their Accounting office and requested a full refund leaving my contact details and the ticket number, but again, no response or call back. On January 4th after being fed up and tired of dealing with this seller that has no idea about good customer service, I filed a claim through NewEgg. The NewEgg customer service agent was great to deal with as was the Marketplace team. With all the information I kept (emails, photos, tracking number) they were able to launch an investigation. They approved my return, opened a proper NewEgg RMA return to clean up the paperwork and issued me a full return. This entire 6 week ordeal has me hesitant about ever dealing with marketplace sellers again, though I'm certain there are many out there much better that this place. Save yourself the hassle and avoid ever dealing with this MicroCad seller.

WHEN I CALLED "PAM" WHO IS THE OWNER/MANAGER OF THE SAID COMPANY SHE ADVISED ME TO BRING MY LAP-TOP TO THE STORE AS SHE HAS A WORLD RENOWED ELECTRONICS ENGINEER ON HER STAFF NAMED "NIXON"."PAM'S" OTHER TECNICIAN WORKING THAT DAY WAS A YOUNG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT BY THE NAME OF "JAMIL". Buyer beware! I ordered a refurbished Macbook Pro from Microcad throguh Best Buy Marketplace in October 2020. In September 2021 the USB port stopped working, so I created a work ticket and mailed the laptop back to Microcad for repair through UPS. I live only an hour away from their headquarters, so it was scheduled to be delivered next business day. I called and emailed for 2 weeks after mailing it to ask for confirmation of delivery with no response. Finally heard back and was told that they had never received the package. I checked the UPS tracking information and it said it has been delivered on the scheduled date and was accepted by an employee on their loading dock at 2pm. The employee at Microcad told me this is a mistake, that UPS says they've delivered stuff when it hasn't really been delivered. He refused to acknowledge fault and replace my laptop, instead demanding I get UPS to do an investigation into the missing package. It took another 3 weeks to have UPS complete their investigation, only to confirm it was delivered. I emailed the employee from Microcad again with no response. Finally, a package arrived at my house yesterday with my missing laptop. Turns out the shop had found my laptop on October 25th, repaired it and sent it back without calling me or emailing me directly to tell me they had found it. They had sent a message through their internal repair ticket system, which does not alert you when a message is sent. I only found the message because I was in the process of filing a police report and had gone back to the repair ticket to confirm dates and times. Absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. First trying to blame me for not paying for shipping insurance on my package (which wouldn't have made a difference since it was delivered by UPS and therefore not their responsibility after it was signed over to Microcad). Then making me spend weeks hounding UPS to try and get an investigation completed. Then they find the laptop and don't call or email me to let me know they found it. Yes I got my laptop back, after spending more than a month stressing over my lost laptop which I need for both work and school.

Bought a refurb HP desktop through Bestbuy, had nothing but problems with it and microcad wasn't very responsive. Graphics card died within a month, I stayed on them, and they sent out a replacement that was inferior, and now it's giving me problems. Computer runs loud. Something's not right with it (to go through 2 graphics cards) and when I finally get a response it's send it back for inspection. I use my PC to earn a living, can't be without it for like 2+ weeks. I even offered to buy a different PC, pay in full for it, and then ship this one back in that box for them to review and refund whatever they find suitable. No response. Now I paid good money only to be stuck with a POS.

Unfortunately a bad experience. Microcad is also a 3rd party provider for refurbished computers for Best Buy(Marketplace on Best Buy website). I bought my computer online refurbished which was my first mistake. Computer was purchased for my daughters Birthday/Grad present and battery did not hold charge from moment she opened. I sent 2 emails to tech and copied their sales with no reply. I ended up calling and was told that if my email did not include serial number model number the email would be put aside till they had time to respond as they are very busy. After finally speaking with someone they said I was out of warranty period 30 days and did I want to purchase a battery from them. I talked about my 2 unanswered emails but this didnt matter as I was now a month out of warranty. I asked for possible discount on battery and I didnt hear back. Not sure how a company sells a laptop with a dead battery but it unfortunately puts a bad taste in your mouth about their integrity. Didnt expect to return the laptop but a little help with a part that should have been working would have made a difference to the customer and A one star rating.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I recently bought what was supposed to be a refurbished iPad 9 from them which did not work from the moment it came out of the box. I instantly took it back to Best Buy to return it as I did not realize it was through a 3rd party at first. The employee at Best Buy tried to turn the devise off and on to see if it could be rebooted but the iPad never turned back on again. I then returned the iPad to microcad to be told that they were with holding $50 as I returned a damaged NEW iPad. According to them I’m so almightly strong either myself or the Best Buy employee bent the iPad with our finger trying to turn it back on!! I have a video of the iPad not working with no damage to it what so ever. These people are con artists who never had any intention of selling me a refurbished product that worked. I’m obviously taking this higher.
I purchased a L430 laptop. For what I consider practically free. $165 including shipping. I assumed i would be getting a cheap little laptop. I was very surprised. It was a nice well built unit. Older looking, but exactly what the pictures showed. No surprises there. I work at suncor and wanted a unit just like this. I had two service issues, one handled over the phone within minutes, the second, I had a gentleman named Jeff who was very helpful and sent out a new part no cost. I did have to purchase a new part for $40 but that was my choice. I couldn't wait. Overall, 100% satisfied with this laptop. I normally don't buy refurbished, but this deal seemed too good to be true. It wasn't. I am happily surprised.

This is a refurbished computer retailer. You should temper your expectations accordingly. Having said that, the prices are about 25-35% off of retail prices for equivalent machines. The laptops are usually B Grade cosmetic status which means they are not in perfect condition but they are still presentable. For what they are, Microcad is a good company with reasonable policies. No one will give you a steep discount like this and maintain the same level of service as a storefront retailer. If you want a "hassle free" experience, buy off amazon or Bestbuy for 35% more. If you want a good deal on a USED laptop, go with Microcad.

We bought a laptop, received it 4 days after payment, it arrived with the wrong charger. I called the same day to ask for a replacement, they asked me to proof I got something wrong before they will ship me the replacement. it feels like they thought I'm scamming them. I send the photo and text to their email as requested and waited for the charger to arrive. after 5 days with no update and no charger I called again after writing to them (they are not answering because they can), they were saying they got every thing and they will ship it. After 4 more days I asked for a return and to make sure they refund immediately, they refused. I asked for the manager and received a call, this was the CEO of the company talking to me. I explained her how they messed up again and again, blaming me for their mistakes and holding my payment as hostage. I explained I need to buy a new laptop and they have my money, but they were not whiling to release it. the manager kept saying, after we receive it back, if everything is good, we will issue you a refund and it may take up to 30 days. I had to spend $50 more to get the laptop format as we made the first installation but without charger the battery drained and we had to go for technician assistant. if you work hard for your money and want to buy from people who respect that fact, do not buy here. if you think a company should pay for it mistakes, same as you would, do not buy from this company. This is my tip to all of you, keep safe keep your distance from this company. I have all proof of communication (phone calls / emails / tickets on-site), if someone think this is a SiFi. Avi
So far I'm really happy with the computer, BUT I was told by one rep it didn't include a mouse and keyboard and another that it did. In the end I didn't get one with my package. So that was a bit frustrating. Overall pleased with the product I hope it lasts, as this is my 1st refurbished PC purchase????

Actually 0 STARS Ordered 5 laptops from re-seller Microcad Computer Corporation. 1 with came with a useless battery that does not hold any charge at all and 1 with a non functioning charger. Purchased a refurbished laptop from Microcad with a windows 10 product key on back Could not scratch grey area to reveil first few digits of product key. I finally revealed the product key to find it damaged, 2 digits where not legible. As their form of customer service they told me that I damaged it and have to purchase another product key for $30. I guess that's how they make extra money. Poor customer service. Last time I shop at Micro cad.

I bought a refurbished laptop from Microcad via BestBuy and about 40 days after my purchase, the computer wouldn't charge. Although this was annoying and delayed my work, Microcad took the computer back (even though it was slightly past the policy) and fixed the problem with no questions asked.
Laptop arrived free of bloatware which is really appreciated. A few more blemishes than I anticipated, but frankly for 60% of retail price with a 3 year warranty you can't complain. Would recommend.
I took a Lenovo X1 Carbon to Microcad for warranty service when the laptop started having trouble booting up and would blast a series of shrill beeps. The tech explained that he'd need to replace my Linux system with Windows so that he could run their diagnostics tools, which meant I lost everything on the hard drive (of course, everything important was already backed up). I was charged about $20 for service. After about a week, I got the call that nothing was found to be wrong with the system and I could pick it up. Unfortunately, the beep error code didn't go away and eventually the system failed to start up at all. When I called MicroCad about this, the tech refused to take it in, citing my Linux installation as the problem. I ended up taking the laptop to another Lenovo service center outside of town, where their tech ran a phone app to diagnose the beep code as a faulty logic board, took my laptop in for a hardware replacement, and returned a fully functional laptop at no charge. In sum, I'm pretty unhappy with how things turned out with MicroCad. The employees were nice and I enjoyed interacting with them, but I'm pretty frustrated at the unnecessary time, expense, and their scapegoating my choice of OS. EDIT: just checked my receipt - turns out I was charged over $50, not $20.
I purchased a refurbished laptop online through Best Buy. I wasn't pleased that it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. I found that Bluetooth was not installed as advertised. That said, I was most pleased with the understanding and service I received. My agent Teffi, was most understanding and offered to replace my laptop immediately or send me a Bluetooth adapter at no charge as well as send me a link to download the driver. I feel confident that should I have any future issues with the laptop, Microcad will service me well.

Untrustworthy store, they sell defective products, and would not return my item after two days. I now have a $180 paperweight. You would get more value from your money burning it for heat than spending it at Microcad.
I bought an awesome lenovo laptop from here a few months back as I run an online educational business. I needed something powerful but also something light and remote that I could take around with me easily. The techs suggested I buy the lenovo yoga. I went with their suggestion and am so impressed with the speed of which it was delivered to me. I got the laptop in about 3 days from ordering. About 1 month in, I noticed the battery wasn't holding its charge well which seems to be an issue with this generation of laptop. I took it in for repair, since they're also a lenovo authorized dealership and it was fixed within 2 days. I've had great customer service here and would recommend!

I just called one pc shop that wouldn't help me install a printer on my laptop!! So I called Microcad . Brendan called back and remote accessed my laptop. It was more complicated than I could have done. There were a few issues that he immediately was able to rectify. And now after the first shop had re-installed the operating system with cliches, Brendan fixed it!!
I recently ordered an 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display from this company through Best Buy. However they sent me an Apple Cinema Display instead of a Thunderbolt Display. The power cable came with the display is not even an original apple cable. Although they advertised it as refurbished grade A product, it came with significant scratches. Not happy with their product and service.
Terrible staff, terrible service, miserable experience. Made the mistake of getting my son's laptop from there. There were more problems than I care to list. If you are thinking of buying anything from there, BEWARE!

Ordered a refurbished laptop sold by microcad through newegg.ca. It came fairly quickly, but the tracking info NEVER updated. It was listed as having an intel i7 2.9ghz CPU and a 500gb hdd but it's an intel i5 2.6ghz and 450gb hdd.. small differences but still falsely advertised specs. Listing also mentioned some software preinstalled, none of which was installed. When getting laptop setup, windows activation failed and was asked for windows activation key. Looked all over laptop, under battery, nothing shipped with laptop other than cord, so no activation key to be found. Called them and spoke to someone right away, yay!! Was asked to give serial # of laptop, not found in their system, GREAT!! They tell me to go to their service site and create ticket and they will get back to me in 24hrs. Did as required, no reply yet. Luckily I'm pretty good with computers and managed to fix it myself and get windows activated.. All in all, computer works great and looks almost new but not impressed with falsely advertising and lack of support.
Recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 7 to 10 at home. Could not find any of my files.Was starting to panic when I thought I had lost all the pictures of my new granddaughter. Brought the laptop into Microcad and Andy spent about 15 minutes and found all my files. He was very patient and helpful, knowing that I was thinking I had lost everything. Never ever buy an Item sold by Microcad computers, they are the worse shipping I have ever seen, ordered a surface book on October 4, 2021, which suppose to be delivered on October 14 but until October 20 there was no response, I tried to call Walmart and they escalate the issue then I got MicroCad contact information, called them and no one answered the phone even didn't reply to my voice mail. in short, I got the email from Walmart that the product is on the way after more than a month... such an awful store.
If could I would give -10 stars . I ordered a laptop from this company as a Christmas gift, but never got it. The laptop was delivered to wrong person, all communication with seller didn't give any results. They were careless, brash ,unhelpful, jush pushed me away. I didn't get any compensation!

Ordered a brand new Microsoft Surface pen for 120$, instead I received a cheap HP used version. Didn't even come in a box. I then read reviews about the company and realized that I am not the only one getting scammed by them. I contacted several customers that were scammed by Microcad to get their testimony in order to file a solid lawsuit.
Long story short.. they messed up big time. Sent poorly screened "refurbished" (defective) product. BUT they did make right by it and had quality product shipped out the next week.
Microcad provides excellent support to their re-sellers and is a one-stop-shop for any IT related services and solutions.
The employees don't earn enough money, so they take it out on customers by making them pay exorbitant prices for ancillary services. They will try to come up with their own logic behind the price being charged, and will try to rip you off as if you're an old man. Best to stay away from this sketchy business.

I purchased a new 12 inch MacBook from them (via the Best Buy site) and within a few days, I realized it was not for me. I returned it. No communication at all from them for 3 months about actually getting a refund after I returned the product. Then they gave me only 75% of my return price due to a 25% restocking fee. That’s actually BS. They didn’t even tell me about the restocking fee. I just noticed a return on my credit card that was far less and had to inquire. They were hard to reach during all of this. There was no information anywhere about the restocking fee. This not only lacked transparency and professionalism, it’s actually borderline illegal. Don’t buy from them.

I bought 2 laptops there on the same day. It seemed like they didn't want to sell me anything. I had to ask all the questions to determine which laptops would be best for a couple of freshman college kids. I had nothing but problems with both units, the Office software I paid for was not installed among other things. After a few weeks of going back and forth and a full exchange on one unit, and overpaying , as I found out later by visiting Canada Computers, this experience can only be described as horrible! The people at Canada Computers were amazing, and really make Microcad look bad.

I have only great things to say about my experience with Microcad. I have used their services just 2 times, but will happily recommend them to others as the service has been outstanding. My laptop screen got a large crack in it, making it impossible to use. They fixed this at a price that was substantially lower than any other place I inquired at. I also had issues with my USB stick that has a lot of very important information on it. They were able to fix it and retain all of my work. I am so grateful for their services and am a loyal customer now for all of my computer needs. Thank you!

Bought a laptop through Bestbuy sold by Microcad. Wost idea ever. First they use Canpar courier, the worst courier ever because they left my laptop package by the side walk when it clearly says it requires MY SIGNATURE and its STOLEN and Microcad is doing literally NOTHING to help me get a replacement. Best Buy, Microcad and Canpar are pushing responsibility to each other and It has been a few weeks and it doesn't seem like any of them are trying to replace my 900 dollars laptop. Such a SCAM!

I called Microcad and got Tim, he was friendly, helpful and professional. He helped me with my issue and waited on the line to make sure everything was working properly. Lack of communications, I have been authorised by the WSIB in 2019 to get a new full computer system. We are now Jan 20 2022 and still there is 0 communication between me and them. They also, do not seem to carry any new computers nothing but REBUILT!

I have also had them service these computers over the years and I have really exceptional service from them, at reasonable cost. The workers show an interest in my problems and concerns and provide me with a FIX always. I wouldn't go anywhere else, because i can depend on them to fix any problem or concern I might have. .

Took my MacBook Air here after a large coffee spill because a friend recommended it over the Apple store due to cheaper costs. I assumed I’d have to pay well over $500 for the fix from what I read about people with the same Problem when having Apple fix it. Bryan at Microcad in London was awesome in reviving my laptop after only needing to clean it. When I had more issues with it later, he happily diagnosed the problem and suggested a much much cheaper solution than the Apple store ever would. Definitely recommend !!! Thank you!
I am not one to complain, but I had the absolute worst experience with this place. The laptop I ordered did not come as advertised, was clearly used when it was supposed to be brand new and did not work well at all. It came with Windows 7 and a partitioned hard drive, neither of which was disclosed in the advertising. I struggled to return this product for over a month. I had to pay for the shipping and insurance to return it when they finally approved it. When they first received the laptop, they refused to give me a full refund for it. I had to call and call and fight until I was finally able to receive my refund. I will never buy another product from here again.

Oui le prix était bon, mais pour 5 mois, ça revient cher. Expérience décevante ! J'ai écrit au service après-vente, pas de réponse. J'ai appelé : le technicien a, lui, été très professionnel, m'a orienté sur le diagnostic (évidemment, nous avons remplacé le disque dur par nos propres moyens, puisque la garantie était dépassée).
Knowledgeable, good used and new equipment
