Awful customer service, was rude and yelled at me for asking questions! tried to scam me with more expensive adaptor for monitor which cost 5 bucks tried to get me to buy for 35! Bought a keyboard and broke in a week as well! Terrible don’t buy from here, check cell direct out way better service and prices!!!! They are legends!!! Ottawa computech are also liars what you mean so your saying people haven’t bought hdmi ports and others this store is ridiculous and should be demolished or closed down because they are scammers. I’m making an add you good I’m warning people before they get scammed! Go to any other repair and phone store honestly check Kijiji and Facebook market before coming to this garbage store

The man who helped me had a very condescending attitude, not to mention he tried to make me pay almost 200$! in "necessary" upgrades for my pc when all I wanted was a graphics card installed. He also told me my 500w power supply was "crappy and not meant for gaming" and tried selling me a 600w for almost 100$.

I was told by an east Indian man that works there that the mygica atv1900ac is the best android box they have. It costed me $226.00. I set it up and It couldn't even handle playing YouTube videos. I called mygica customer service and an east indian man answered telling me that they do not refund or exchange and that I must call the store that sold it to me. So I'm being sent in a circle and can't get my money back. Telling me that your technicians will "sort it out" doesn't get me my money back.

Prices are fair. The owners are highly knowledgeable. This is a more technical / parts type computer shop. Suitable for people who build their own PC / do their own upgrades. They also deal in HDTV antennas and security cams. I use them when I need very specific things (today they were the only place in town I could find CPU thermal paste - $10). They usually have a few older refurbished computers in stock if that's what you are looking for.

Amazing service!! We dropped off our computer and dealt with Imran who was very patient and helpful. He saved us $150.00 by showing us a better software option and explained email options for our computer that made so much more sense. Very knowledgeable and very quick. Great service and all but all my Minecraft data from 5+ years ago was completely lost. Would recommend if you don’t care about your Minecraft being deleted.

I have a laptop computer & my computer screen is touch, I don't use the screen, I use my mouse or mouse pad to move from website to website. I notice my mouse curser getting suck in the corner & after a month of it getting worse, I took it in to Ottawa Computer. Turns out it was my screen sensitive was set to high, so the tech disable my touch screen & now my computer is working normal again. It took him 5 mins to figure it out & fixed it.....best part it was a free service! Thank you Ottawa Computer.

Not very good customer service. Youre treated like a thief from the second you walk in. I opened the door asnd the owner was standing there just inside with his arms crossed looking at me so I said "hi" and he just goes "what do you want" so I said "just looking" and started walking around. He followed me with his arms crossed the whole time, watching me. I asked for some help to find something and he asked me why I needed it so I told him and he just said "no. You can't do that" so I tried to explain I know exactly what I need and he just kept telling me no, and he wouldn't sell it to me. I insisted on buying it anyways, and he told me $25. For a heavily used, old laptop power supply. Unbelievable. Never going back.

I left my tablet over the weekend to find out what's wrong with it. Tech working there took down my number and said he'd call once he knows what's wrong. He never did. Later on it turned out that i needed a new battery. I asked how much, he just said "too much, not worth it" without even opening my tablet. Very unprofessional.

I've had my laptop fixed from here twice (screen repair and then it had to be reset) and both times the repairs were quick and perfect. I have now had a few experiences with this store over the years. They have always treated me very well. On this trip repaired my OS in a timely manner and reasonably. On a past tripthey fixed my sons Macbook when everyone else said it could not be fixed. He has now been using it for over 18 months.

This is the ONLY place in Hamilton to get computers or to have them repaired. I have been dealing with them for 10 years. They are professional, and have an amazing knowledge of computers. They do excellent work and are HONEST about what you actually need. If your computer requires work, don't go anywhere but to Ottawa Computech. They are the best!!!!
