I had a data recovery problem with an old Mac that I foolishly carted around in my car too long after Staples did me no favours with their not-so-good diagnostic. The pros at SNR dismantled the Mac before my eyes and quickly had the data recovery solution available. Soon after, all was well and I received my data fast and affordably. I can't recommend these guys enough for data recovery, and I'll bet they are the best place for everything cell phone too.

Complete screen replacement on my Macbook Pro 2015 in less than a day! Best price in Guelph, plus, he tried his best to transfer my stickers from my broken one, which I totally wasnt expecting! Mustafa was also very understanding when there was a delay with payment prior to the repair. Very grateful! Hopefully I don't have to go back, but if something breaks, I will likely go here! My only complaint is that I felt a little uncomfortable after telling him I wanted to shop around a little bit, and then came back. But this could have likely been unintentional and just my personal anxieties. Overall great quality, and fastest turnaround (so great for students!!!)

Popped into SNR yesterday just after 4 in search of a used phone. They however assured me for less than that they would be able to fix my S8 screen and have it back to me that night. They stayed open past their listed hours to finish my phone and another one he was working on. I had it back in 5 hours. It works and looks like new. They even tossed me a free tempered glass protector to slow my next inevitable incident. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to find the cheapest and quickest solution. Definitely reccomend and will definitely use their services again. I will note that when I went in it was 430pm and one of the owners happened to be at the warehouse so he grabbed the screen while he was there. It was incredibly good timing. Had the phone back by 9pm. But I cant see them taking longer than a day to return anything on less than fortunate circumstances. They seem keen on doing a good job and having your electronics back fast

Best experience I’ve ever had at a phone repair place. I called in the morning and got my screen repaired later the same day! The employee at the front desk was extremely friendly and the pricing was great! I ended up paying 100$ for the screen repair and the guy threw in a privacy-protecting tempered glass screen protector for free! Amazing! A different place in Guelph had told me that the screen repair alone would cost 140$. I know where I am going next time I need my screen fixed.

My MacBook's screen turned off due to water damage. I took it to the Apple Store and they told that the repair would take 1300$. They advised a get a new laptop. Being frustrated by their response, I took it here and Mustafa did what apple would not, he opened the laptop in front of me and showed me the water damage. He gave me an estimate of 500$ and said he would have it fixed within the week. I got my laptop back and it is now working just like it did before. Thank you so much Mustafa! I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing repairs for their laptops or phones.

These guys are the real deal people..i went in there with my cable box hoping to get a simple upgrade, turns out my box would not accept a upgrade because i bought it from some random guy on kiji, and it was programmed NOT to work after a certain period of time. I was prepared to walk out disappointed and pissed off but the guys felt bad because they could not do what i wanted. Not wanting to have a disappointed customer, they gave me a great deal on another box, they could have charged me full price but because of my situation, only charged me what i was going to pay for the crappy boxs upgrade. That tells you that these two guys will go out of thier way to make a customer happy...you dont see that a lot lately...its not about the money, its about the customer. I WILL be a repeat customer and will highly recommend em to anybody. I wish em both great success and im sure it will happen because if they treat all their customers the way they treated me, thier business will soar.

I went in with a shattered iPhone screen and no appointment, the owner said the repair usually takes about an hour but he had to run out for a couple hours so he did it right there before my eyes. It took him maybe 25 min. He was very nice and my phone is now working perfectly! He called it from his phone and tested it out to make sure everything was in working order. I cannot be happier!

Great experience here! I came in with an old Macbook Air that wouldn't boot up. Turns out that I had accidentally bought a faulty off-brand charger via eBay which fried my motherboard. Not only did the owner help me understand the issue and replace my board in good time, but he also gave me one of his own chargers (around $100 from Apple) to take home for free so that the issue didn't reoccur! If you're looking for an honest and reasonably priced repair shop, look no further and avoid visiting the scammers at similar shops in the mall and other competitors. Great service, would definitely recommend coming here for any computer issues. P.S Sorry for the late review post but I figured its better late than never to let people know of the honest service you provide here.

Replaced my phone's screen in March. I had some initial problems which were blamed on a "problem employee" that was let go. After a moderate delay, my cell phone screen was replaced and appeared to be working properly. However, yesterday my phone got wet, and the front facing camera was not functioning, also my phone is stuck on headphone mode even though none are plugged in. I contacted the store yesterday and he had me in today to address the issue. The headphone jack is working properly now and a new camera has been ordered to be replaced tomorrow.

Due to the nature of my business I smash screens on a regular basis. I have found S&R to exemplary in service, and in cost never had an issue. even when they're with other customers have always been acknowledge when I walk in the door, and say it'll just be a minute, the cost is always extremely reasonable they've never change the price even though the first time I had to do this phone he went to 3 different supplierss just to find the screen.

This is the second time I have been to SNR for a cellphone repair and I just had to leave a review. The people who run the store are amazing human beings. They are so kind, generous, trustworthy, and down to earth good people. The first time I visited, was to fix my husband’s phone which wasn’t charging. Mustafa took it to the back for 10 minutes, worked some magic, and brought it back to me in perfect working order. After having a lovely chat, he refused payment saying it was a simple fix. A couple weeks later I returned with my own phone, which had gotten water in behind the screen. Mustafa was able to replace the screen within an hour and even offered me a discount on the repair. I had another lovely chat with him and another guy working there (who’s name I forgot to ask, I’m sorry) and left there with a shiny fixed phone and a smile on my face. Both guys working there were honest and friendly and they made the effort to connect wth me. I have felt as if among friends during both my visits and value their opinions and insights. Their kindness and excellent service will have me returning there for any needed repair. SNR is a gem of a shop with some of Guelph’s finest working there. Thanks again guys!

I haven't experienced being treated like that in a store for maybe 10 years. It's seems like you're in a third-world country getting haggled. Very sketchy especially to trust your personal belongings with. I also waited 2 weeks to hear back about a diagnostic. Very unprofessional. The guy wouldn't even take his eyes off his phone playing a game to say hi when I walked in and was talking to me arrogantly through his screen when trying to haggle me. I'm perplexed by these other reviews! It seems like everyone is lying. I'm a very friendly and fair person who pays for good quality service and never get this kind of service.

The service at SNR was phenomenal! When my MacBook Pro’s hard drive cable needed replacing, Best Buy charged me $70 just for a diagnosis and then told me it would take a week plus $100 to fix on top of the diagnostic fee. Since I had assignments I needed to submit ASAP, I couldn’t wait a week. Luckily I found SNR because they were able to fix my laptop within an hour and for a reasonable price! If I ever have any problems again, I would only go back to SNR. Also the owner is very knowledgeable, straight up and honest, so I would highly recommend his service to anyone!

It ended up being a very easy fix no parts needed just some adjustment. If I went somewhere else they probably would have charged me way more and told me I need to replace parts. Pretty bad crack to my samsung s8 screen, which is not a cheap fix. But Mustafa was extremely helpful in going through my options to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. That included looking into a fix elsewhere, which would have meant losing my business. After agreeing to go through the repair, it was obvious my battery was badly damaged as well. He didnt overcharge me for a new battery and in fact gave me quite a good price for the entire fix. All in all, I was extremely happy with the entire experience. For something that could have easily cost me closer to $260, it was much closer to $200. Also much cheaper than a new phone!

Let me just tell you how AWESOME and DECENT and HONEST this guy is. ONLY go to him for your electronic needs!! Here is why. My samsung A70 decides it no longer wants to charge. I tried different and new cables...nothing. Ok I have to get it fixed. I saw the reviews for SNR. Give them a call. I tell him I need a new charging port. I explain I tried other cables. I ask how much he says 45 for part and labour. I am like "ok" THEN he says take off my protective cover, turn over and press the samsung logo/wording. Sounds weird but okay!! Did it and Bango Boingo phone starts charging!!! Omg. What magic is this. He tells me that it is a bit of a design issue with A70's . A wire comes loose inside. He could have had my money easily. I would not have been wiser . There are good people out there. Thank you sir!! Safe and happy 2021

I can't express my gratitude enough! After being told by Jump+ that a pin was broken in my iPhone charging port, so my phone was unfixable and had to be replaced (effectively holding its contents hostage and forcing me to fork out a lot of money), I brought my phone into SNR. Took my macbook in after issues with the keyboard/trackpad. He quoted me one price for him to replace the keyboard and another if he had to send it out for a motherboard replacement. Called me within 2 hours to let me know it would need sending out, confirmed the price and offered insured shipping as well. Even texted me photos to show the water damage so I knew he wasn't ripping me off. He told me it would take at least a week for them to send it back to him but he called me 2 days later to say he went and picked it up himself - amazing!!!!. I took my mother's android box to Mustafa on Friday, and had it back before the day was done. I had a problem with my iphone 8+ that another store said was ready for the trash, Mustafa fixed it within an hour and it works like new again. Definitely would reccomend SNR! SNR Guelph! What a joke. This the shadyest cellphone shop I've ever been to in my life. And I've been to a few bad ones. first I called about an iPhone 7 screen repair was quoted $150 for an OEM screen so I agreed. I came in for the repair and was told to leave my phone and pick it up after its done. Upon getting my phone back The front camera wasn't working, the touch ID wouldn't read and The screen was not original then persisted on charging me $200 and telling me "things like this happen". This place is robbing people. How they stay in business I don't know I'm assuming the SNR stands for "Stealing Not Repairing". There are way better cellphone shops in guelph please avoid this one. The customer service sucks, they give no receipts, and refuse to fix things that they broke. Will never be coming back here ever again!
