I'm capable of repairing my own laptop however as a long haul truck driver, my tools are miles away. I shopped around for repair estimates as far away as Kingston and was sceptical of the price quoted here as in some cases he was $200+ dollars less expensive. I also wondered whether the high google rating for this shop was fake. I'm happy to say it was totally accurate. The owner repaired my laptop for exactly as much as he originally quoted and did so slightly quicker than promised. Do not hesitate to bring your business here, he's top notch. Thank you for the great service sir, you're awesome!

Probably the best computer shop in guelph, maybe Ontario and I've been to my fair share. Had my $2000 dollar laptop crash because of a DC jack. Best buy told me it was toast, took it to Shakeel, who not only gave me some of the best costumer service, but fixed my laptop in a matter of a week. As a producer and dj, Shakeel saved my career! I would recommend Cyber computer shop to anyone and everyone, he has me as a life time customer. I would even travel here just to have him take career of my future equitment! If you have any computer related issues or want upgrades, look no further Cyber computers is a must!!

I had a whole glass of water spilled across the keyboard of my new MacBook Pro and rushed in the next day in a complete panic for water damage repair. Everyone there (even including the customers!) were so kind and helpful, extremely knowledgable, and helped to calm my nerves a bit. I waited over the weekend until I was called to come pick up my computer! Fully working (including the touchbar) and it's been running wonderfully ever since! They even offered to refund a majority of the repair fee if my computer died within 2 weeks after the repair. I know I was lucky that it was just water and not something sugary, but I consider myself lucky to have stumbled across Cyber Computer Shop for the repair as well. Caring people and amazing repair store. Highly highly recommend!

Was quoted $70 for a new charger at Staples. Got a used one here for $15. If it doesn’t last I’ll buy another used one. Owner showed me how to fix it if it doesn’t shut down properly. Definitely recommend this shop to others!

DO NOT GO THERE. EVER. Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced. Walked in twice to get my hard drive checked if it was dead and he charged me $20 (which best buy did for free when I went in for another opinion) just to plug it in. THen he sold me a product which he did not explain was final sale, when I attempted to return it since it was the wrong one he argued with me and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Decided to give him another shot since my CPU fan was broken. Brought in my broken fan so I made sure that he would sell me the right one, he sold me the wrong size (doesn't fasten to the board) I called back to explain it, he YELLED at me on the phone and told me it was final sale. I explained he sold me the wrong one and it doesn't fit onto my motherboard and he yelled at me more, saying this is the second time I've done this to him and he doesn't want to deal with me again. HE. SOLD. ME. THE. WRONG. PRODUCT. AND YELLED AT ME THROUGH THE PHONE. Save yourself some grief. Don't go here.

Unpleasant experience. Problem with an old DELL laptop that was simply locked. He unlocked it in five seconds, and charged me $20.00 for a computer I bought a few weeks ago for less than a hundred bucks! Actually, I was expecting him to say No Charge, at which time I would have given him a $10 tip, something I often do for good service. Don't get me wrong: Cyber isn't the only ridiculous company in Guelph. I don't know how many times local businesses have refused to bargain; in other words, give a little to gain a lot in profit and goodwill. Personally, I seldom shop in this town, except for food and gas. I did have a coupla good experiences with Cyber, and was about to recommend them to fanily and friends. Now, I shall advise them to go elsewhere. LJC

We got photos taken for our application for permanent residence here, and we were blown away by the service! The staff who helped us was very knowledgable and the photos were great quality, the correct size, and a great price. We went here after an extremely dissatisfactory experience at a larger store, and were pleased to receive great quality photos in less than ten minutes. I would absolutely recommend getting any kind of immigration photo taken at this local business!

Needed to get photos done for a Permanent Residency application, and the owner was simply amazing. I called beforehand to make sure they could print the correct photo size, and he was kind enough to remind me not to wear white clothing or else the photos can't be used. Once there, I found the little shop well decked out for customer and owner safety, and the owner wore a mask the entire time I was there. Taking the photos was so fast, the owner gave very clear, excellent instructions to get the best possible picture. Printing time was very short, and the photos cost a lot less compared to Shoppers and other locations. Definitely come here for your photos! Only thing to note - there is a $1 charge for using credit card for purchase under a certain amount, so have cash or debit on hand.

In an absolute panic I went in to Cyber Computer Shop with a work laptop I'd spilled water on. I was in a panic and probably a "high maintenance" customer. The owner was fantastic in dealing with me right from the minute I walked in. I got a call the next day and my computer was fixed, cleaned and ready to use again - no data lost. Repair services are excellent at a fair price. I work IT, so I came in knowing exactly what I wanted done and what it's worth. He did everything I needed and he was very meticulous and did solid work. I even changed my mind on what I wanted halfway through and he didn't charge extra and worked pretty fast. Nice guy too

Took my PC in due to a black screen and was able to get it running again. He then tested the parts and identified the cause of the problem at no extra cost. He even offered a further discount if I required any replacement parts. Will definitely keep in mind if I run into future problems.

Went to best buy to figure out what was wrong with my computer they said it was going to be $70 just to look at it and likely $300 to fix the issue where they suggested I just get a new computer instead. Here they looked at my computer resolved the issue promptly and professionally for 60 bucks.

I first took my laptop that wouldn't load anything to the local Staples store to have them recover my data. They took it for a while and then called to say that my hard drive was toast and so they would not be able to recover my data in-house. They offered to ship it out, which would cost at least $399. I declined that service and decided to try a local shop as a last ditch effort to see if anything at all could be salvaged. Thankfully, I went to Cyber Computers where the guy was able to recover almost all my data within a few days and it only cost $79! The service was quick and professional, and I will definitely be back again.

Cyber Computer Shop is great! My PC had a flickering screen which would have taken weeks to fix at another store (and about $150 more), while the guys at Cyber Computer Shop fixed it the very same day, offered to inspect it again on a later date for free, and even gave me the original screen back after they replaced it for a new one. It saved me from having to retire my less-than-one-year-old PC and having to buy a new one. Now I have my good quality computer back, and it's doing wonderfully!

Got my permanent residency picture there. The owner didn't tell me anything about my clothes being crumpled in the picture. He just said the picture was good to pass ircc's requirement when I checked the picture on his computer and didn't want to make any change. Personally I felt the owner was bossy. All in all, if you want an okay-to-pass picture, you can go there. If you want to look good on your pr card, think twice before you go.
