The electronic section is terrible. Who sells games that are opened? Can't return product or get price match, even with proof of purchase. Was told "I'm too busy!" Had to manually look up price cost on my phone and the manager just grabbed my phone and clicked on a different website. Totally unexpected and not customer oriented. Perhaps he should take a refresher course on "SuperHost".

DELL COMPUTER ISSUES - I don’t recommend anyone take their computer to be repaired at London Drugs if you are running a Dell system. I brought my computer tower to them for a power supply swap, and it took over a month to get a hold of their Dell contact, order the power supply, and get it installed. They said it was an issue with their contact at Dell, which is likely the case, but I realized quickly after calling around, that other places in GP could repair it in a couple days. I also had to do my own follow up along the way. I had to continually call and ask for updates on my unit.

Great selection and usually will have anything you need. The girls in the makeup department typically totally ignore you OR follow you around like your stealing. Not stealing peeps, sometimes when your on a budget you have to go back and fourth a few times to decide what’s going to work best and not break the bank ! The pharmacy is very helpful as well as the front check outs. I like the option of a human and a self checkout both being available.

Horrible experience dealing with them . If you have a macbook, dont bring it down to this store. There are other authorized apple stores you may want to deal with them. I brought my Macbook Pro in February 11th. there was an issue with screen that Apple was willing to repair. I asked the London drugs rep if i can keep the laptop until Apple send the hardware. they refused, i was told it will take three days for the repair. The next week, i phoned , i was told the the three days actually were for the diagnosis, it will take another 5 business days to get it repaired. a week after which is today, i phoned them they told me the hardware has not arrived and it will be arrived on Saturday. more than two weeks of not using my (school/work) laptop and the laptop sitting on their shelf. they could have let me used until the hardware arrive. Wasting of customers time experience.

This is my favourite London Drugs and I always feel good spending my money here. Often go out of my way to buy from this particular location!! Had a self check review after it was first installed and received an incredibly professional and respectful response from the manager. Came in to buy a few items, passed multiple staff and wasn't even greeted or asked if I needed any help... then the moment you need help you can't find anyone lol.. Anyways I find my things after wondering aimlessly and I go to check out and pass a group of staff members chatting, I go to the till only one open and there's a bit of a line starting. But they just all stood there and chatted away ? Must be managers having a safety meeting... but you should have more than 1 till open.

Good service in person, phone service is a nightmare. They somehow transferred me to Red Deer at one point, not sure why. If all else fails just show up, ask around, you can probably get what you need or an idea of where to go. One of the better equipped pharmacies in town, I tried two other places and they didn't have what I needed, London Drugs did, so there's that. Photolab is pretty unprofessional. I got an alert my photos were ready, but wasn't contacted that half of them couldn't actually be printed, I had to be told that in person.

Online order was not ready as promised. Help in the camera department is spotty at best and perhaps there needs to be more employees on? Only 1 employee was around and on hold on the phone for a customer. Several of us were standing around waiting for help. EDIT. I will revise this review. And I had a good experience and I will rate it 4/5 Stars now. Anyway-Went in to pick up my order (ready 18 hours later). It says online in “2 hours or less.” I know perhaps some items need to be brought it or whatever, but don’t display that big banner on your webpage then. Mike and Darren in the photography department were excellent!!! Very helpful and friendly. Made me want to come back for their help. So in the end I got what I paid for and left feeling good. Thank you.

i completely boicot this business. the people working here are horrible. rude..ignorant when asked about lookiñg for an item. specifically the camera and photo people..just horrible..most deffinately angry vancouverites mad for no reason just because thats how they wanna treat a good loyal customer for years..i was born here in this city..never have i seen such crude people. UPDATE: April 23 2018..unfortunitely my Dr. sent a prescription with a dose of antibiotic for strep throat to this place..I waited an hour..and waa told to wait more and who knows how long for my prescription..they apologized this time. +1 point. I however left with no prescription as I am ill and dont want to infect others..so I asked for my prescfiption and went elsewhere..where not only was my prescription handed to me with a drink of water in 10 minutes..but I learned that the pharmisist can if applicable be the prescribing person and fix dosing complications as well as others. So -10 points for not doing your jobs with integrity and enough knowlege to be helpful to anyone. I may or may not contact your business as requested..this is your mess..you guys get in there and start cleaning it.

This drug store is more than a drug store. I can find just about anything I need in this store. Shoppers tried to do it but they still have a long way to go to catch up with London Drugs. I could easily do all my shopping at this one place if I wanted to. Doing a great job. Only remark in the negative I have to say is that a couple of the staff members need to brush up on their customer service skills. I think one undercover shopper would find any issues with no problem. Keep up the great work.

Always stuff on sale. Big variety of everything from electronics to makeup. It's pretty much like a convenience department store. No different from SDM. There is a new makeup section for people who like that. Always a variety of candy and chocolate. They do a good job of stocking different types of coffee as well. My favorite is by far the travel section in the far right corner of the store. It has all the travel accessories such as shampoo, condition, toothpaste, etc but also has socket adapters, fanny packs, and other different types of travel accessories so one doesn't have to run around finding it all. This is a big plus! The pharmacy is very friendly and quite quick for filling prescriptions. There is usually time to take a quick rip down half the aisles. The store is small enough for that.

If you are looking to buy a desktop Computer or laptop do yourself a favor and go to a Computer specialty shop. I went through 3 desktops from our local store here but ultimately had to return it because they were unable to get their hands on another one to exchange therefore I made the drive over to another big box store to pick one up and wouldn't you know it it crashed right out of the box as well. The options were when I called to see if there was anything they could do, was $20 off the cost of a new hard drive, PAY for instore service and diagnostic or my 3rd option was to mail this computer to MSI for service and be without for god-knows-how-long. Both the seller and manufacturer claims they are unaware of any issues however a quick Google search State otherwise and I was advised by msi that I should package it all up and mail it to them for service and inspection. I finally took matter into my own hands and exchanged it for the next model up (better motherboard and more Ram) ran my own diagnostics and ultimately discoverd it need Ram and a hard drive to solve the random crash issue and its been perfect ???? though it did cost me an extra $375 on top. It's sad that when spending nearly $1500 on just a tower and then another $400 on a monitor they could care less about all the troubles and running around i had to do, I drove from the Kelowna store, to the west kelowna store then had to do another exchange but the closest one was in Penticton so I made the drive and then back to the kelowna store for the final return.

Extremely disappointed in the photo lab, I had a very simple print job for them to complete and the colours were all wrong. They tried to give reasons why, but in all honesty it was only 5 colours and they adjusted them quite a bit from the original picture, instead of grey I got blue. Instead of black I got navy blue. I'll try the photo lab one more time, this is the 2nd time my order wasn't done properly.

Bill in electronics is excellent (definitely five stars), really he went above and beyond to connect me with a tech to replace my glass on my iPhone. The reason I'm giving four stars is because of the tech. Not only was he MIA for at least 10 minutes upon my arrival despite Bill trying his best to contact him but when he did turn up he didn't ask who was next in line, just went to a lady holding a laptop and started helping her - of course Bill was busy by this time helping another employee's customer as he was beconned by her as he clearly is the "go to" guy. Bill ended up logging my request in which to no fault of his is a lengthy process. I acknowledge this is not the city but when it takes 15 minutes to get your glass replaced at the apple store, six hours or longer is quite annoying (tech told me it would take two hours) - BTW, could be longer, I'm still waiting for a call to pick up.

wont recommend taking electronics of any sort here, the team sold me the wrong ram for my laptop and ended up having it for 2 days. A month later i take it back to fix a wifi issue and they charged way too much for a simple procedure only to get it home and the problem still exists. very unhappy!

The photo lab is terrible. I've tried it multiple times and always end up standing in the store for 15-20 minutes to pickup prints. There is never more than 1 person working and they are always busy. What's the point of 1 hour photo printing if your going to be stuck in the store for another half hour just to pick them up?

tech centre is a joke. they took my phone to send it for repairs and let me leave saying they had everything they needed. Gave me a date for when my phone would be ready. i was patient and waited to receive in the mail. but no phone! so i called for them to tell me they tried to call when i left.. (They just took my phone so I didnt have one.) saying i didnt have the insurance i needed.. shouldnt they confirm that before they take your phone and let you leave? maybe ask for a secondary number aswell. set me back over a week for my phone to get fixed.. by someone else.

Super disappointed. Ordered photo cards for Christmas on Dec 10. Online it made it seem like it would take 72 hours. I called over a week after I placed my order and spent a long time on hold. I was told they didn't have the paper to print my double sided cards in store so the sent them away to be printed and they didn't even know if they would be back by Christmas. Luckily a contacted Costco and they did up some cards for me in an hour. Needless to say I cancelled my London Drugs order and will not be using their Photo Lab again.

We have used other competitors infrequently and been disappointed. Don't waste your time going elsewhere, go directly to LD each and EVERY time. If you're looking for camera equipment, try and avoid Demetra, the camera department manager. Better yet, order from Vistek or TheCameraStore in Calgary, or Broadway Camera in Vancouver. She lacks knowledge on products and has been incredibly rude on many occasions, which is not great when spending thousands of dollars. All 3 alternate stores I mentioned offer better pricing and incredible customer service.

Less than Desirable online order and pickup. Placed order online through website states ready in 2 hours. Ok store opens at 8 should be ready for 10ish 11:30 I get notification the item is shipped. 5 mins later item is ready for pickup at Customer Service. Waited in line for apx 10 mins as only one cashier. She calls for help a supervisor comes up and starts to assist me. She is looking for the book. Finds the book ok my name is there. Have to go find it. She goes to the cabinet. It’s not there. She goes to the spa it’s not there comes back looks at the book again. Starts discussing with the customer service. She then calls Sid up and he says he hasn’t pressed that one it shouldn’t be ready. However I got the email it says it is. Back and forth between them. He disappears for a bit. Then comes back looks at the book again he looks around customer service. Finally he goes back to the cabinet near the washrooms and finds the parcel. Whole process with out waiting in line was close to 15 mins. My thoughts are online orders should be walk in and walk out. Maybe have pracels at another location in the store an a dedicated person to work on them during the day. Not saying they just stand there, can stock shelves but when a customer is there to pick up it’s a smooth seamless transaction. I purchased this item online and for store pickup as I wanted to be in and out. This was not the case an a failure on London Drugs.

Super lame to be prepared to buy a camera to find out they only have 2 in stock: 1 returned or 1 display model in stock, and both full price. No one pays full price for a used camera. This is why we all shop online now and don't bother going to stores.

Not really good customer service. I just asked politely for gift receipt before cashier lady start to scan my items for letting her know, but she's kinda offenced, idn why, and rudely said I need to pay for items first. I just let her know i want to get receipt and wasn't rude at all. Also her attitude to previous customer and to me was very different, she didn't even asked me about bags that she actually asked for previous customer. Customer service from lady at makeup section was really nice, so I disappointed more about cashier lady's attitude.

Nightmare pharmacy! The rating of two stars is specifically for the pharmacy. Driving in from out of town and had to on multiple occasions make a second trip due to multi-day waits to fill prescriptions! The rest of the store is good, standard London Drugs chain but the pharmacy is not cool. When I asked around people recommended that I go to any other pharmacy and they reported long waits as well. I had to go back and forth on too many times to try to get necessary medicine that should be given an urgent priority. They also acted high handed and I felt like they were judging me because of the prescription I had filled. In fact, they did judge me because they wrote a letter to my doctor, feeling quite sure that they were more informed about my condition than my doctor. Update: after the store’s email interactions with me after I rated them, I’ve lowered it to one star. Incredibly poor customer experience!!!!!! What was that supposed to do to help? They ask me for more info and how to make it right... and then they don’t reply when I conscientiously take the time to reply to their query! Wow, they managed to waste more of my time without me going into the store! Pharmacy FAIL

I normally really like London Drugs but yesterday I had a bad experience and I will no longer be shopping at this particular store. Three weeks ago we purchased a MacBook Pro that came to over $3000. The man we purchased from was very polite and said we had 30 days to return it if there was a problem. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the computer, and we took it into the store to return it yesterday. The manager I spoke to was extremely condescending, very rude and patronizing. We were eventually able to return the computer however after the experience with the manager in the computer department I will no longer be shopping at this location. Very disappointed in the customer service by this particular manager.

I've been here a few times to process my photos and have passport photos taken no a number of occasions, and am received with the most horrible customer service from older women who should know better. If you're going to get your photo taken here take the time to go somewhere else even if it's out of the way.

This is my personally perception of my experience at London Drugs in Kamloops. I traveled from the Cariboo in search of a new home computer; and wanting a high end complete system for home studio/office to do professional photo and video editing.The computer service assistant could have been more personable as it seemed like I was bothering him. He did what he could regardless. However I got better service, better equipment and better price at Best Buy. And I thought that if I ever have to come back for customer service on a new system I'd prefer going somewhere that made me feel welcome.

This is specifically for the repair department as my past experiences in London Drugs have been overall good. I took my phone in to get serviced, it failed the diagnostic and was told the receiver "just needed to be cleaned" sure enough that wasn't the case. I go over to Simply Computing, they do a diagnostic as well (which they do in front of me which I really appreciated) and sure enough it STILL FAILED. Simply facilitated a repair and I got a replacement iPhone. I would not trust London Drugs technicians, as they appear to only want the easy way out... just tell you "it's fine" and send you on your way.

hugely disappointed with the service tonight. I go to this branch weekly and usually am satisfied with the service. Case in point, tonight (6pm Sunday evening) the young man in photos was really helpful. However, the two ladies at the checkout provided zero in terms of customer service . The self checkout was not calibrated and gave the message that an attendant would be with me shortly. One of the two women came over and said "she'll be with you in a minute, I'm sorry" and then WALKED AWAY. The woman with a customer finished up (several minutes) and then started cleaning her station, then offered to assist a new customer. It would have taken either of these women 15 seconds to reset the machine. I left without completing my purchase. It was not busy at the front. After this experience I am not sure I will bring my business back to this branch.

Something for everyone. Bought a few items and found what we needed. It’s a clean store and well lit. I do find that the aisles are somewhat narrow but that’s a minor problem. If you’re looking for large appliances or a car you won’t find it here but just about anything else you need is here. There is a large entrance for coming and going. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a typical London Drugs as I have been to a few locations over the years and have always been satisfied with the service and products.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to Sonja...a Pharmacist I have dealt with intermittently for over a decade. I once lived in p.g. now still travel from Chetwynd for medicine. I have received several calls from this conciencious lady after requesting refills from customer service representatives. She has suggested I refill all prescribed meds...thus saving time and money.... rather than waiting for a certain dose to be delivered.. she has explained and suggested that I have her parse meds in half etc. I wish more were as connected to their patients and concerned about the global aspect of medicinal approaches. I received the worst service from the London drugs post office staff. My tracking information for a parcel told me it was waiting for me at the post office. After calling the main branch I was directed to the London drugs section as it was closest to my address and my package would be there. After making time to stop for my parcel I was told there was no such parcel and the lady had no item with that tracking number there. But she also told me the pc was having issues. Despite these issues she refused to even look physically for my item. The next day (today) I got a delivery notice in my mailbox to pick up my parcel at London drugs. Upon checking for my package again the same staff member didn't even enter my tracking information but told me the parcel wasn't in. She gave me irrelevant information that she only had one delivery driver and didn't even leave her seat to look for a package. I even have an email with today's date stating my package was there ready for me. Poor service, staff who don't care, overall bad experience. I still don't have my parcel even though I have an email and a delivery notice.

I like getting my medications here because you can always look around until it’s done. They also announce your name, so you know exactly when to pick it up. Have a wide selection of everything you might need and a few other things you might buy as well. Went in for a prescription and walked out with a complete set of chairs for the front yard. Would have gave them 5 stars but some workers in the photography section need to help out more instead of taking with each other.

Very poor treatment of employees. Was at the post office on August 19th when I witnessed a very impolite customer verbally abusing the employee running the counter, who was truly doing all that she could for her and more. After a while of this, a manager came to "diffuse" the situation when he only sided with the customer and just allowed her to continue to degrade the poor staff until the EMPLOYEE put up with enough abuse and left. I don't blame her one bit and I would do the same thing. She has always been so kind and helpful to me every time I have the privilege to deal with her, unfortunate that her own manager doesn't have her back. I will not be supporting this location as long as the management treats their staff that way. You should value your employees if you want to keep any good ones. This is also not the first time if noticed such unprofessionalism from the management team at this location.

I'm a regular Shopper at this location. I have used the computer department for years. I have used many services provided by London drugs and never have I been so appalled at the lack of customer service I saw in my recent visit. I was in the store with my kids. And went to the till in the back where I buy my smokes. A girl at the till requested ID from my kids upon me asking why? They were trying to ID my kids. They replied. Because they thought I was buying smokes for my kids. Needless to say I will drive the extra 15 minutes. To give my service to the London Drugs in Westbank instead.

Darwish, was there to answer and explain the technical term, as well as explaining the difference. He even suggested as well as recommend; but wasn't pushy on what should I do and gave me some options, which I considered. I would have liked updates to be sent via text, as the emails kept getting filtered as spam. If there are people in line in front of you, be prepared to wait awhile; as each transaction tends to take a bit of time.

Bought an iPad online for next day in-store pickup and it was ready in half an hour! Superb! (Love the iPad by the way, highly recommend for reading for university) Only concern is that the invoice I was given does *not* have the iPad's serial number, which I know is very important for any warranty related issues with Apple (I used to work at another LD store). When I phoned the lady told me it was no big deal, but I know for a fact it is a requirement to have proof of purchase with a serial number in case of any sort of return or warranty issue. Right now it looks like I could have just stole it and made a fake online order invoice (which at my old store I had to decline returns because of this, and the process with Apple takes weeks instead of days to process issues with no proof of purchase).

I went in to pick up an online order (2 disposable film cameras). I didn't know that I was supposed to head to customer service to pick up an online order, but now I know that for next time. So instead I went to the photo center hoping that they would have my order. The woman that I was talking with did not understand what I wanted when I presented my order confirmation, and thought that I had gotten a disposable camera developed. After I reiterated that this was an online order that I had gotten shipped to the store, she asked me where it came from, and still did not understand what I meant. She checked in the developed photo bin and then when I again tried to explain that this was an undeveloped camera that I had ordered online she said "We don't do that here" and said something about "making her look all over in the bins" as if I were wasting her time. I kept trying to explain what was going on, and every time she interrupted me. She kept interrupting me and attempting to get me to leave the line until I said that the payment already went through on my account. She then was able to get someone else to help me who actually listened and figured out what I meant. I finally got my order, and I appreciate those who knew how to help me instead of interrupting and dismissing me.

Love shopping at this London Drugs!! Chris and Thomas in electronics were so nice, helpful and friendly! I was looking for a set of wireless headphones (and knew nothing) Chris took the time to answer my questions and explained the best brands and deals that are going on. Thomas was so awesome... he even told me about a free $20 extended warranty code through my LD account. (Thanks for taking the extra time to do that, Thomas!!) I plan on buying more of my electronics here. I know I'll be going to Thomas or Chris when I'm ready for these purchases! Aaaand I feel like I'm getting the best price because of their 30 day price match guarantee! Staff in the other departments are also incredible... They're always very friendly and ask if you need help :o)

I've popped in and shopped here numerous times. I've bought phones, licorice, cleaning supplies, etc. Throughout my time shopping here I've never had a problem worth bringing out, and the customer service was good. I came in here Thursday , browsed around, and grabbed some ink. The ink was on Amazon for $8 cheaper, and since LD heavily advertises "Price Match Guaranteed", I went to get it checked. Waiting in line, I got to the cashier, where she quickly scanned my items and told me the total. I asked if they price matched, and was told "no". I asked if that was indeed the case, and she realized they did indeed price-match. The cashier gave me a blank, annoyed look and I turned over my cellular device after deducing this was code for "May I see the competitor's offer, please?" She didn't know how to price check, so she waved over a senior employee and/or supervisor - while the person behind me patiently tapped their fingers against the counter (seriously, that's obnoxious and rude, don't do that) - and she checked it over. After a beat or three, the employee said they weren't the same products, citing that the ink's title contained a "3" at the end (the pictures of the ink were the exact same as the one LD was selling, so I'm guessing the 3 in title referred to fact that you're getting three inks instead of one). Unwilling to argue and upset our fine citizen's further, I acknowledged their conjucture. Afterwards I looked over the Amazon ink, as I spent awhile verifying they were the same and couldn't spot a difference and went to the back of the store to get a second opinion. After talking to one technical staff behind the counter, they said they couldn't find any difference between the two and went to talk to their supervisor to get their approval. Thankfully, it wasn't particularly difficult to get the price adjusted at that point (a bit time consuming, but I don't mind waiting). Unfortunately, the bad impression had already formed. While the second employee I'd talked was great, the first was lacking in several factors. Its not as if I'll refuse to shop here again, but my desire to come back has been reduced. The prices are decent, not great (Loblow's stores tend to be cheaper), but not expensive enough for me to often mind, they have a neat loyalty program and the customer service is, the majority of the time, good. As it were, though, negative experience are often more apparent than positive ones. This review isn''t reflective on this store or company as a whole, just a singlar experience. One that stood out enough for me to write a review. I would've rated this visit with single star, but gave two since the second employee mitigated the incident and was friendly.

I called to see if the post office was open today since it's a long weekend and waited on hold for a while just to talk to someone. Upon answering Lynn quickly brushed off my call and transferred me to a dead end call of a phone ringing. I got annoyed and called back hoping Lynn would answer again. Waited on hold and this time I was told let me check here. Yes 11 to 3. Clearly Lynn could have checked and told me instead of transferring me to a department that isn't going to answer their phone for another hour and 15 minutes. We aren't in downtown Vancouver here. Its kamloops. Waiting on hold forever.... really? Its early. How busy can it be....

Tried to fill a perscription here. Only after i waited 20 min for it to be filled did they tell me that their stock was low so the could only give me a couple days. Problem with that is i just had surgery, so i cant just pop down and get it when they have it in. Would have been nice to know before hand. I wont be going here again.

Their website is also great for checking if they have what I need before visiting, but I almost always see something else worth buying when I visit. The pharmacy at this location is terrible - I filled a prescription there, paid for all of the months, was given what they had available, and told the rest owing would arrive soon. When I called when the original amount ran out to see about the amount owing, I was told that they had thrown it out. When I asked why nobody contacted me so that I could come and pick up what I had paid for, I was told that they don't ever do this 'because if you really need it you will show up'. So, they took my money for my medication, billing my benefits, and of course their dispensing fee. I will never, ever fill another prescription here.

The Pharmacy staff, have always been very friendly, helpful, attentive, interested, and extremely professional, in all my dealing with them. The pharmacy at this London Drugs is always a bad experience. My parents have tried multiple times with different staff to make their prescriptions auto renew and they never seem to grasp it. Picking up prescriptions is an even worse experience. The staff do not care to serve customers that are waiting in line and will actively ignore you. Not only that, when they do serve you, they are very rude. This behaviour was going on pre pandemic so they just always have a bad attitude. Will be switching my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

Wife and I went to store to purchase the new Ipad for Dad's barthday and ask for price match from Canadian "Walxxxt" web-site the sales name "Bxxxxxx" says he can't do price matching because from the web-site could be in "open box" or "refurbished" and apple does not do any discounts. Well, usually if the product is "open box" or "refutbished" the website will have to tell you and when they didn't tell you it means it "Fxxking New!!". The sales than turn around and say we dont have any in stock right now check tomorrow's tuck "maybe" there will be one. The online clearly says you have two in stock. SO, I went to Staples, they didn't even ask me any questions for price matching. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER spend a nickel there!!!.

I always want to come shopping at London Drugs because I love their cosmetics department. However, for years now, I have stopped shopping here because the cosmeticians and staff always ignore me, never ask if I need help and I feel like I'm constantly unappreciated and unwelcome as a customer- even when the store is empty and not busy. Pros: their photo printing is better than walmarts Cons: their customer service is awful. They hardly ever answer their phones, the photo desk is so slow, twice they've misfiled my pictures and it took along time to find them. This last time they not only misfiled them but they also didn't print 11 of 20 because of some glitch in their system and they didn't even bother to call me ahead of time. I would have reuploaded them, but instead I dragged my two kids down just so I could pic up this incomplete order (which are part of a birthday present, I don't think I have time to reprint now). They offered an insincere apology couched between excuses of business. Busy or not, Im a paying customer too.

I recently had a countertop dishwasher fail, beyond its warranty. I was looking for a repair service to fix it and no one would attempt to repair because the parts for RCA are not available. I explained my problem to Greg of the sales team at London Drugs Kelowna. I requested that they go back to the supplier and find someone that could help me. They could not find a repair person or a parts resource. I was so impressed that they went beyond and exchanged my faulty dishwasher for a new one. I consider this outstanding customer service and I would always recommend the retail ethics of London Drugs.

Great store, I'd love to give it 5 stars I just can't, on my various trips to this store I've overheard some managers and other various employee's gossiping about other employees in a very negative way. I understand if you have issues with a Manager but the fact some or these employees including managers will talk negative about their own employees is extremely toxic and disgusting, expecially as a manager you're suppose to be a leader and fix conflicts like this not join in on the gossip. I remember once hearing one of the assistant store managers I think his name is Braden? I overheard him talking negative about an employee, I honestly couldn't believe it you're an assistant manager you shouldn't talk like that about your own employees it's very toxic and unprofessional, I'd hope the Store manager or HR will hopefully fix this.

I’ve been a loyal pharmacy customer for 23+years. Ever since they moved to the mall, the service has drastically gone down. Margaret is a great pharmacist and I love dealing with her, however I rarely deal with her anymore. Everyone else there is awful. You stand in line forever. There will be 5 people working behind the counter and not one responds to the customers in line. They all sit there with their heads down pretending they don’t see you. It is extremely frustrating. You drop off a prescription and they tell you to come back in 3 hours! I have given them numerous chances and nothing changes. I will be going elsewhere.

Came in today and was told it will take a week due to lack of staff as they place their developers on the floor for sales. Worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. The medication I take is non addictive and not dangerous but if I don't take it it and stop for any reason it could be very very dangerous. Usually because of this pharmacies are okay to give out an emergency 7 day supply if I hadn't had the chance to talk to my doctor. BUT NOT THIS PHARMACY!!! I was visiting the area and forgot my prescription at home by accident so I had my prescription transferred to this pharmacy so I could get a short supply until I returned. When I got there they hands down refused to give me my prescription because of some clerical error even though I was starting to lose my mind a because I hadn't taken it for 5 days and needed it ASAP. This would NEVER happen at my usually pharmacy. I appropriately told them off and said I needed this or I was going to have to go to emergency. And I am not joking the pharmacist dead pan looked at me and said " go to emergency then" then turned around and walked away. I think this place should be shut down for medical negligence. I then go to another pharmacy (shoppers drug mart) and there was also a clerical issue but the pharmacist fixed it and figured it out and gave me prescription no problem. So moral of the story if in Kamloops don't go to London Drugs, go to their competitor Shopper Drug Mart and I am also seriously considering reporting this place for medical negligence because they should be shut down for endangering my life....

Great selection of products & the Customer Service you will receive is "THE REAL DEAL" The manager & sales team in the electronics department are friendly, knowledgeable & give you their full attention, Here's my experience on Mon evening; Manager of the electronics dept was finished his shift & heading home for supper, he stopped & asked if I needed assistance. I told him I wanted to upgrade & purchase a new cell. No problem he said, I can help you with that. He stayed late, didn't rush me & went over and above with his time, knowledge & patience as we selected a cell best suited for me. In addition he found a monthly plan with my carrier that actually gave more than what I was receiving.....at a cheaper rate! ! Thank you so much! Ever heard of a sarcastic 5 star? Here is one. The truth... The staff is quite rude. My husband and I needed some change from a bill, and we were actually thinking of coming back there to shop. We had gone to customer service and this girl was standing there working with some locks. We had asked her politely to exchange our money... She said nothing, gave us a stare down. Obviously she was listening to her music and it was so wonderful she couldn't talk. She waited for that perfect amount of time to make it seem like there would be no help from her and then she went to get us our change. My husband and I took our change and then said thank you. She of course was still so caught up in her music, all she was able to do was glare at us. Then walking out of the mall.. she and another girl were chatting, having a great laugh together. I took time out of my day to write this tid bit for the sole reason that I care about businesses. Customers should not feel disgust when they are shopping. It's hard to find the right staff sometimes... but taking a diamond in the rough and polishing it is a mangers job. Perhaps they are not motivated in the right way or at all, therefore the business is suffering. Best of luck.

Ordered a tablet Jan 2 and was told 1-3 weeks. I paid $365 (on sale). After not hearing anything from them I called and was told it had to come from their "buyer" but should be here before 3 weeks. Called again today to see if they had any updates. It still hadn't been delivered by their "buyer" but would let me know if they heard anything. I received an email this evening to inform me it wouldn't be delivered until around mid February now. That will will be at least 6 weeks without $365 or the tablet. I could have ordered it from anywhere else and had it by now. Receive stuff from China quicker than that. The ad still says 1-3 weeks too. (Samsung tab s2 8") Not impressed at all.

Went in to get passport photos taken. I was only second in line but still waited 20mins. There was only one woman working who was taking passport photos for someone else. A man came along and asked what I needed, I told him passport photos so he told me to go over and tell the woman so she could do mine same time as the others she was currently taking. So I went over, told the woman what the man said but she said no, you'll have to wait until I finish these first. That was fine, I waited, maybe another 10mins. Thats when she went on to serve the next customer without coming back to me. I asked why she didn't come back to me and she just told me to go to the back of the line which now had 6 people waiting. So over all, I spent 30mins waiting for photos I never got. The woman was extremely rude and wouldn't listen, I was not a happy camper to say the least.

Two and a half years ago in May. I fell in your Prince George store and broke my back. I was rushed from your store to the hospital by ambulance. When I fell, I had two items in my hand and they went flying. The manager came over and got my name, address, phone number and any information needed. Then, he picked up the items I had dropped, tossed them to the side and told me that I could come buy them later. Even though I was in pain and dazed, I couldn't believe how rude he was. I'm sixty years old and I use a cane but he didn't make any effort to comfort me. A total stranger in the store came over and held my hand until the ambulance came, My girlfriend went to the store after I had been admiited to the hospital and told him that my back was broke and I'd be in for quite a while. I was in for almost rwo weeks and in a wheel chair for the rest of summer. I couldn't go back to work but I still didn't sue you (though I should have). I have never heard a word from your store, not a hello. how are you doing, a card or even a go to hell. I used to be in your store almost daily but since that day I have never stepped foot in your store and I probably never will. Your service in Prince George stinks. I tell all who ask why I won't go in your store and they are stunned at how rude and uncaring your people were to me. I will never forget how I was treated. Thanks for nothing.

Fantastic service from the folks in the computer sales department. I was on vacation in Kelowna and needed to replace my dead Dell laptop. After an extensive online search I found one in my price range with very good expert reviews, at London Drugs. I tried to order online for pick up without success. I called the customer service number and a very nice lady came on to tell me there was only one left in stock and it probably was a floor model. Indicating I preferred an in-box laptop she called the store while I waited. Within 2 minutes a very nice store employee came on to inform me that theirs was a floor model but they would search other stores. About an hour later I get a call telling me they found one in Victoria and would ship it to the Kelowna store. A couple of days later I had a brand new boxed laptop at the sales price I had seen at the time I had first called. We have always had good experiences at London Drugs.

purchased a Cuisinart coffee maker...Within a week it broke down The filter part broke....London Drugs return policy wouldn't take the coffee maker back..have to mail to the Cuisinart Company...What a mess...some of the staff are nice but not the electronic dept...

Went into the store as my daughter had no touch on her cell phone screen. Talked to the lady in the phone department. She referred me to some repair place on enterprise. They completely wrecked my daughters phone. I wouldn't turn on anymore after they worked on it and now all my daughters photos from her trip are gone. The message from the guy at the repair store was "well its like open heart surgery" but why wouldn't he mention this before!! You guys should maybe consider referring more credible places if your going to refer. You have lost my family as customers for sure!

I had a Mac Book Pro needing a new motherboard (logic board). The tech, Andy was amazing. I used to work for an Apple reseller and repair shop. I currently work in retail and sell, Apple but we don't have a service center. The level of service I received was amazing, he was able to quote me over the phone (amazed by this). Andy let me bring my laptop in on a Monday to make sure he was ordering the right part. And then let me take it home so I could keep using it (no one else does this) until the part came in. Dropped the laptop back off Tuesday afternoon I had it back in my hands in perfect condition by Thursday afternoon. His level of knowledge is spectacular. This level of service is beyond my best expectations. I recommend anyone needing Mac computer service to go see Andy at London Drugs kelowna.
