My Lenovo laptop was not starting or showing any good signs at all. I called Acadian to get help, found them knowledgeable and friendly to give a technical consultant through the phone. They offered giving the lap a quick check and fortunately Robert could solve the problem in few seconds although my several trials after watching Youtube. Their help was precious as they save me time and did not accept fees in return. I am happy that I found people who I can trust and even they are advising about any question or need. I have a 93 yr old father in Kingston and I am in Australia. I haven't been able to see him in over a 1 1/2 years. On top of this his heath is ailing. So I decide to get the internet installed in his house and buy him a Google Duo so I could video chat with him but he also could have a companion in the machine. To make this work I needed someone to install the system from the internet to the device but also teach my Dad how to use it. I approached Brian and his team. Without hesitation, they came through. Silas(tech) went to my Dad's house and set the system up. He spent the time needed to teach him how to use it. He tested with me in Australia to make sure it worked. My Dad was so excited to see what it could do for him by just asking it. Such as the weather, or tell him a joke, seeing his 5 yr old grand son for the first time in 4 years, seeing and talking to me in Australia. Silas even set up the slide show of family pictures, which my father really enjoys. I can't say enough the joy that this has brought him during these time of lock down and old age in his life and for me to be able to see him after so many years. Thank you Silas and Brian for spending the time and having the patiences in dealing with my sometimes grumpy 93 yr old Dad. Also thanks for being able to stop by once a month to check on him and making sure that everything is working ok. Thanks again. It is such a pleasure to work with a caring group of people. I am a mechanical designer and keep my drawings on my D drive which just disappeared with all of my work! I searched for fixes and even tried to restore to a previous save point which didn't restore my D drive. I called Acadian then brought them my computer. Within an hour they were able to tell me that my D drive was fried and they were confident they could recover all of my files on the drive. Then they replaced my fried drive with a new SSD with all of my files on it. I was able to pick up right where I left off like it never happened. They did this all with in a day at a very reasonable price. Thank you again!!!
