very poor service, they take a long time to serve their customers. they give preference depending on your race, I was ignored for a long time and other people behind me were being served first ,they never asked me what I was looking to do so I dont know how does the "line busting" system works when you dont even know customer needs so... . also there is a big lack of knowledge within their staff, I believe you should be very knowledgable in order to work in a place like this. Don't waste your time in their line up, contact apple, it is way faster and you will actually get the right information from apple not this location

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this store and its incredible customer service! My MacBook keyboard had stopped working and one of the Staffers, Isaak, suggested I call Apple directly to see if they would extend the warranty and fix my keyboard. And guess what? Apple agreed to do this and sent a special repair code directly to Jump +. I just picked up my new and improved MacBook now and it’s just like new! Apple even replaced the battery as it’s an integral part of the keyboard. And this great review ain’t over yet; I asked Isaak if I could make an appt to get the recharger port on my IPhone cleaned out and he said, « I can do that for you right now if you wish. ». Cool huh?! Many thanks to you Isaak and Julien as well for outstanding customer service. I’m a Jump +/Apple customer for life!! :>)

Always an awful experience with jump+, they dont seem to know what theyre doing. Staff dont communicate so everytime you need to explain the same problem to 5 different staff during the same visit. I had bought apple care+ brought my phone in several times and its a hassle everytime i walk in. Recently brought in my iphone 6 due to service problemsnot related to service provider. They took my phone for an hour to look at it, when i came back they told me they wouldnt replace it unless i paid 90$. They said i couldnt get my replacement phone because the phone was "bent". I asked to see how it was bent and they didnt show me or tey to explain it to me. They just got very rude and kept repeating the same thing. In no way is my phone bent, theyre just trying to rob me of 90$!

Went in for a simple battery replacement as i was charging my phone 2 to 3 times daily. Before i went in a did all the things you should do, removed all apps i didn't absolutely need, turned off background refresh, backed it up restored to factory tried that then restored from the back up and nothing helped. New battery time right? I made my appointment went in talked to the tech and he agreed with what i did to that point. Left my phone there and waited almost two hours and when i got my phone back the battery was at 9% which i thought was weird but i was using an old phone right then so it didnt matter at the time. So i let it die and then later in the evening i charged it up fully and within 3 hours i was down to around 50% when i went to bed, no big deal i thought i'll just charge it in the morning. Seven hours later when i got up it was completely dead, took 6.5 HOURS to charge it! Then again within a few hours almost dead (Now im questioning if they actually replaced the battery or not because it seems like they didnt). I emailed expressing my frustration and got a nonsense response that says the tech said it was a software issue and that i should restore it to factory and give it a few days to see if that helps which seemed uncaring and made me feel like "how dare i question the work". So now after i spent $75 for absolutely nothing I had to go get a new phone i've emailed their head office and apple to see what kind of response i get. I do not recommend this store ( id give them zero stars if i could )

I was just at the jump store today (Jan. 25 2020). Claud was very friendly, tentative and helpful. I needed help in unlocking my iPhone and it was done in a timely manner ( I tried doing it at home with my computer with help from Apple over the phone, but my computer did not have Windows 10.)Their fee to unlock the iPhone was very very reasonable, only $15.00 plus tax.( Another store wanted $100.00 to do the same thing.) Highly recommend. Update: I got home and was unsure of something, so I called Jump+ back. The technician who originally helped me (Kayleigh) was busy, so Julie took the time to PATIENTLY help me with my questions. A really big THANK YOU. I am not tech savvy.

Not the same company as apple- therefore they offer few of the services that make apple a great company... will not swap defective chargers, difficult to arrange an appointment at, and to be honest rather rude staff working at the store. Bad experience on the phone with them, and at the actual shop- next time I'm going straight through apple.

Soooo they have a phone number but I guess no one actually works? I have called over ten times with no answer! You'd think for a store that sells phones they'd know how to answer one! (Edit) It has been over 15 calls and voice mails, I ended calling out of province to the Toronto jump plus ( I assume alot more traffic than fredericton) they answered immediately and helped with my question, I also notice many reviews had this problem so I just assume they have the phone turned off.

I went there at 8:30 pm to buy an iPhone 11 pro max through Rogers.They said it takes 30 minutes for them to do it so they can’t do it because it’s near their closing time. I went to Wow and they took them 15 minutes to do it. They are just lazy at Jump + ????????

Great service, they actually repaired my computer (the last time I spilled liquid on a computer, I took it to Apple, which was a disappointment as they couldn't fix it). However, when I got my computer back, I found out that the folks at Jump+ had jacked the screen brightness up, and you don't do that with a calibrated monitor.

Clean and well lit store. Friendly staf. I did find that a lot of shelves had empty boxes as fillers to make them look better stocked. Was looking for two items. 1. Wireless phone charger with Apple watch charger. They had one but it didn’t have wireless for a phone. 2. Apple Watch bands. Couldn’t find any for the 44. They had about 8 rows but none organized by size.

There service is the worst I brought my iPhone 6 to them for a battery check then they said you need a restore they charged me 18 dollars for that then the other day I went to pick up my phone it had the same problem that it had it before then I told them it is doing the same thing then they said you brought your phone for a disabled reason they lied I brought my phone for a battery check bu t said you need a restore they went completely of topic then they changed my battery it cost me 45 dollars it only had a 3 month warranty it was it was doing the same thing over and over again they changed the battery three times like come on I didn’t expected this from jump plus they should give me a new phone they wasted my time 6 months they wasted 6 months of mine there staff sucks they are so unprofessional I don’t recommend this to anyone please guys don’t take your device to jump plus they suck who ever reads my review please give a review saying give Abdullah Ali a new phone or give him his money back

these guys are awesome! We walked in there looking for an Macbook air charging cord. We told the lady up front that we only required one half of the charging plug but unfortunately they dont sell them separately. She told us to wait a sec and she went in the back and found just what we needed used, and GAVE IT to us! I cant remember her name but thanks a million!

DONT SHOP HEREi took a phone in to get looked at and one of the wires got ripped off my screen which they would not replace and blamed on me when the screen was functioning when it went in but not when I got it back then went back couple days later and they wouldn't even sell me the part I needed worst experience ever wouldn't go back for anything they completely refuse to do anything beyond charge excessive amounts of money for unneccesary "fixes" p.s my phone was not functioning because of a bad sim card reader none of the above issues this is another tactic from Apple to put blame on others and not take responsibility for their actions and the screen I took in to get looked at came back with a ribbon cable ripped off which is the part I wanted from you because I no longer trust you to handle my device because it continues to come back in worse shape than it arrives in

Went in today to exchange a product under my apple care plan that I purchased through this location. Upon entering I was informed that I was misinformed when I purchased the protection and that I would have to schedule a service appointment. After being confused and receiving attitude from the staff they went in the back to check with service to see if they might have time to look at my air pods. I have rarely been treated with such disrespect especially in a store where a watch band can cost you 150 dollars. I love apple products but this experience has put a jade over all of my apple products. Honestly wish fredericton could get an actual apple retailer but I would settle for customer service that represents the price of the products your purchasing. Save your money go to Costco better warranty and they treat you with respect if you have questions or don’t understand something.

The service department is nothing short of terrible, and the prices on their new goods are more than the Apple online store (with the addition of a 15% restocking fee on returns). Buying from the Apple online store is cheaper and more convenient.

Fantastic store, looks great, Megan is one of the most amazing managers. She is very professional even under stress, went out of her way to help me. The “3” stars reflect only one thing and that is how their warranty process is set to leave the customer without product while they “prove” that my complaint is valid and only then will they order a replacement. I took my 8 month old Apple TV in because it was failing intermittently anywhere from 15 mins to 4 hours. They tested is for 15-25 minutes and gave it back to me, no problem found. 2 days later and it is now dead. When I call today, they still want me to bring it in so they can verify it’s dead. Only then will they order me a replacement unit. If the person testing the unit the first time had more than simply resetting my unit and running it for less than 30 mins I may be able to watch my Twins baseball over the long weekend. ****BUT THE ARE SORRY*****ANYONE WANT TO HOST A FEW GAMES?****

Waited for service, was the only other client other then the one at the cash, another set of customer came in and she served them first, waited some more. Once I got to the counter I ask for the cost of a repaire, she proceed to tell me she guess around ..., i said I don’t need a guess price I would like an actual price(battery replacement), and was told she doesn’t know I need to go to service for that, next counter, i waited what was a long time in line and I didn’t move only two client in front, I finally gave up I couldn’t stand anymore cause I’m disabled and no place to sit while you wait in line. It’s the second time I try and same results nobody event greats you. I wish service would be better cause it’s a nice clean store and if your going to make people wait for extended time for service pay attention to the order in which you serve. I gave 2 star instead of 1 only because I’m sure they can do better, premium electronic should come with premium service.

I was in your store yesterday I received the worst service ever and was completely insulted by your Manager. I was coming in to have my Iphone looked at as i have been completely unhappy with the phone. The sound is only working now and then and I have missed numerous phone calls and texts and one that was extremely important. I am frustrated with my phone and completely unsatisfied. I was standing in the line for services when the Manager came over to ask why we were there. I told her why and did express that I was unhappy with the Apple Iphone and would not purchase one again. She did not try to trouble shoot told me she didn't make the phone and walked away. I did not say anything personal about her, the store or the service in the store. I only mentioned I thought the apple phone was terrible. Another associate came over later and asked why we were there and tried to trouble shoot while we were in line. She was FANTASTIC!! An appointment showed up so we decided not to wait any longer as we had already been in line for 30 minutes. We decided to make an appointment. The manager was making us an appointment and advised we could only make appointment during the day from 10-4pm. I work 8-5. So i did say "you mean I may come back after 5 and have to wait again for 30 minutes or longer" that is when she lost it. She told me I had been nothing but rude to her employees and to more or less leave. I never once said anything rude to her or her employees but I did say how unhappy i was with the Apple product. If a client cannot say they are unhappy with a product you service they should not be in customer service. The point to a customer service employee is to see why they are unhappy, see if it can be resolved and be empathetic. If I had called her a name then I could definitely see her saying I was rude but this never occurred. As a customer I have every right to express my dissatisfaction with a product and expect a professional response. I have been in customer services for over 25 years and have had customer get personal but have never behaved in this manner. I then went to the location where I purchased and phone and they were mortified to her what happened and said that I was not the first to come and complain to them. They took the time to find our why I was so frustrated and tried to help. My phone is my life line as my husband is critically ill and this is why I am so frustrated but instead of being empathetic and caring your Manager couldn't be bothered because I didn't like the product she was selling. I will not return to your store and I will be sure to use this as an example of what not to do when training my customer support staff as well.

I just had a really great customer experience at Jump+. My iPhone needed a new battery under warranty, they were available for my appointment on time, they quickly changed the battery and did it in exactly the time frame they had projected. Excellent work all around!

I had an amazing experience at the Apple Store in Fredericton. They made an appointment for me to have my phone looked and and possibly restored because of some software issues and wifi issues. Everything was fixed and they helped me through the process of reloading everything back on and making sure I went home with everything working properly. It is like I have a new phone now. Great service but they should update their info on the IPhone issue as the issue I reported is well known for the IPhone 12 Pro Max and they told me that they never heard about it. FYI It appears that the iPhone 12 No Service issue is triggered when the device is switching between carrier cells. The issue can occur even when the user is standing still, if his location is situated at the border of two cellular towers and the device is switching between the two. It is well know you should be tracking.

He even helped me with my service provider to have the opportunity to upgrade due to the problems I was having. Very friendly and easy to deal with! I entered this store thinking I needed a full diagnostic, mostly due to me being a techno peasant. So pleased I ran into Melinda, who obviously knew my issues with my laptop and my phone could easily be solved. Melinda was very thorough in her explanation and much appreciated that she explained some things 2-3 times, which was necessary for this 61 year old brain. Took 2 phones in today, one of which is brand new and has static over the speaker should be replaced seeing as it’s definitely a defect. according to them it can’t be replaced, anyways it took them about 5 hours to just factory reset the phones, which I know for a fact wouldn’t have fixed the issues especially when one of the phones was the camera physically shaking. I live an hour away so it was a waste of my time to drive there and wait around for hours, now I have to wait about 10 days for both phones to be sent to apple, be repaired and sent back very upset

**update to my earlier post *** My initial review was one star, but I've increased it to 4 stars. Meghan reached out the day after my experience below to say she and Jump Plus wanted to resolve the issue that had occurred and make things right. They have since replaced the battery free of charge. So although things started out badly, Jump Plus made a huge effort to resolve the issue - and I can't really complain about a company that takes action to make things right when something has gone wrong. It shows good faith and good customer service, and as a result my evaluation of Jump Plus Regent Mall has increased considerably and I would happily take my business there again. ***original post*** I had a terrible customer service experience yesterday at Jump Plus in Regent Mall. My iPhone 6s battery needs to be replaced, so I made an appointment at Jump Plus to have that done yesterday afternoon. I dropped the phone off early and said I would pick it up much later in the afternoon, long after the time slot where they were going to do the work. I work for a living, and cannot afford the time to just sit around the mall for an hour waiting for my phone to be fixed. I confirmed that Jump Plus had my e-mail address if they needed to contact me regarding the repair, and I offered an alternate contact phone number. They declined to take it, because apparently nothing odd ever happens and they never have a requirement to contact customers. When I returned a few hours later to pick up my phone, they informed me they had not changed the battery – despite this being the service which was requested and agreed upon. The Manager, Megan, informed me that Jump Plus could not do the work because I had a non-Apple-certified screen. I told them that Canadian competition and consumer protection laws permit me to use alternate servicing for any device. The agent disappeared into the back for quite a while and upon her return agreed that they could in fact do the work; however, they could not guarantee functionality of the phone since there were non-Apple parts in it. I repeated that I’d brought the phone in to have the battery changed, and my expectation was that they did the work they’d agreed to do – ie change the battery. If they had questions or concerns, they should have contacted me instead of just not doing the work. Initially their response was that they were just going to talk to me when I picked it up (without the work done, and too late in the day for them to go do the work??!!) and that my file said that any contact was to be done in person when I picked it up (despite me having deliberately confirmed my e-mail address and offered an alternate phone number so they could contact me if there were questions regarding the work). So now I’ve wasted a bunch of time making two trips to Jump Plus – and I still do not have the battery replaced. In the end, Jump Plus has offered nothing to make this right except a grudging acknowledgement that perhaps they should have contacted me if they were concerned about the work rather than just not doing the work and wasting the service appointment and my time. Jump Plus at Regent Mall gave the clear impression that they do not care about inconvenience or poor service. And, since they are the only Apple-certified provider in town, I have to either go back again and hope they do a better job this time, or I have to drive to another city to try another service provider.

I have had multiple repairs done on my MacBook Pro at this location. The first repair, everything was great, after the second repair, my keyboard backlight wasn't working afterwards, I thought it was just a fluke of some sort. But the last repair I had done, I received the computer back and it will not even power on after just a screen replacement, I don't understand how that could go wrong. After this I contacted Apple Support directly and they also found it strange and said there was a checklist every technician must do after the repair, and I don't know if it wasn't done, or if they skipped something. All I know is that when I brought my computer in it worked and now it doesn't. I wish I didn't have to, but I will have to go back to get this wrong righted. But any future repairs I need, I will not be going to this location or any jump+ locations. I would not recommend going here for repairs.

I am impressed! My screen was on the fritz ....I called and they said when I take it in that it would take 3 to 5 business days for the diagnostic test results and then if I needed parts it would take a while ... especially during the Christmas season there may be a delay. I took my laptop in on Tuesday morning and got a phone call Friday morning that the new screen was in, installed and ready for pick up! They can't do better than that!

"Premium Reseller" - The only premium is in the price. The store's barren and battered, cold and minimalist style is a great compliment to the level of service you can expect at this store. It seems the only care is to sell, and upsell you on stuff you don't really need, or in my case, even want. At this point I have an older iPad running iOS 9, which when it's working, I'm perfectly happy with. I was in the mall, so I said... what the heck, and came in store to ask about issues I was having with my iPad as I felt mine needed servicing. When I finally got to talk to somebody, 10 minutes later, I explained that my iPad would die randomly, at as high as 80% battery, and would not hold a charge. I told them I believed the battery had gone. They basically told me my ipad was done for/toast, and the "only" thing they could do for my problem, was to offer a "replacement", as my tablet was literally "unfixable" in this case, "replacement" = Buy a brand new tablet at our premium price. Uh... no. After insisting on servicing instead of a new one, I was informed they don't do repairs in-house. Alright then... Weeks later, I had contacted Apple support to confirm my issues, and they confirmed the problem was: (1)with the battery (2)was serviceable They gave me two options, 1. Mail my iPad in to Apple 2. Take it in to a licensed store to be serviced I decided to test option 2. Mainly because I thought I could save some on shipping/time/hassle. Ironically I was referred by Apple support themselves, that this location is a spot where they can conduct repairs on behalf of Apple, or at the very least, send it in to a repair depot. Obviously at this point I told them I did not trust this location as they are liars. (have the chat logs) Funny that they seem to love to flaunt how they are a "Premium Reseller" and "Apple Premium Retailer" with bold signs right in your face at every turn. Perhaps it makes them feel more credible? Or at the very least, less sleazy? Unless you are buying a brand new tablet at an outrageous price, then, they don't need/want to help you. Even then, if your battery went on your brand new one, their solution is to sell you another one. If you really need the latest and greatest, why not try Best Buy.. or.. Staples... The Source... Heck, literally anywhere else. At least they might have options on extended warranty, or something. Should have known better than to go to some place I've never heard of, and in the mall, no less. Though if for whatever reason you decide to take your money here, be aware that their only interest is to take it from you.

Going in I thought the cost for screen damage for my Iphone 6 would be ~$40 with my AppleCare+ but to my dismay it cost double: ~$80. To top it off the customer service was sub par. The worker there had another person with them when speaking to me and made no mention of who that person was, which I found rather odd. But that was not what upset me, it was actually when the worker told me to come back in an hour and when I did they told me that my phone was not in stock (why did they not tell me this an hour ago?) and that I would need to return in a couple days (when I did, I was told to come back later). And that was that, no phone walking out not even my damaged phone was given back (and apparently they have loaner phones but that was never offered to me). This was a very frustrating experience that left me wishing we had an actual Apple store...

Very poor customer service. They don't take any responsibility of the services they provide. Manager is also very rude and wasn't ready to help at all. I got my iPhone X screen replaced from them (Out of warranty screen replacement - $420) and after only 2 days the screen went black on me. Since then I've taken my phone to these guys 4 times already but they just reset it every time and say there is nothing wrong with it. They ripped me off of $420. Very unsatisfied with this Apple retailer and AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTRE. Edit - The owner replied here that the issue is related to software. B.S. I have evidence that it is due to the faulty screen these guys put in. Even the apple advisor acknowledged the fact but these guys are just trying to get away.

I drove to the Fredericton location from Saint John as I could not get a clear answer or any help from the apple support phone line which I had spent 2 hours on the phone with. My brand new iPhone 8 I purchased 5 months ago under warranty turned black during a software update and would not charge or work what so ever. I was fed up with the service through apple support so I made an appointment at the jumpplus Fredericton location.The service employee I met with there was Ben Smith and he was absolutely wonderful. It was close to the mall closing time so I was worried I would have to drive back again. However, Ben provided me with fast, effective and informative service, he was able to get me a replacement and switched over my account, even the same colour phone I had before was provided for me. I could not be happier with the service I received and how fast it was, it definitely made the drive to Fredericton absolutely worth it! Thank you so much Ben for helping me.

I have purchased around 3 phones from this store and they have had issues within one year of purchase. The staff is rude and unprofessional as well. The staff will not listen to the issues that you facing with the phone no matter you buy apple care plus or no. I preordered iphone 11 pro and put a deposit down as well but everyday I would call and visit the store and I would be told that “the stock we received has been sold out” even after 2 months of its release. They don’t bother if you preorder it or no. The staff only does the sale which is not at all difficult for Apple products but the service after the sale is important that they fail to deliver. I stopped going to this store after all this. I now just travel to Halifax whenever I need anything. The official apple store staff is super professional and will not ask you meaningless questions and provide satisfactory solutions. I really wish this store would close and we could have the official apple store here. I don’t think the phones that Jump+ sells is even original/from Apple.

September 2021: Adding to my review from two years ago. Pre-ordered two new iPhone 13s from Jump Plus. They arrived on time and we were immediately notified. Once again, Julie and her crew looked right after us from purchase through to data transfer and set up. Special thanks to Julie, Claude and Joel. A great crew and excellent service. 2019: I bought new two iPhones and accessories today and received outstanding service from Julie. She was very patient, made sure we got the best price, and helped me deal with my carrier (great service today also from Bell Mobility!). I like dealing with Jump + because they look after all aspects of setting up the new phones -- transferring data and apps, SIM card, etc, etc. This is the second very positive experience I've had at this store. Thank you Julie and your colleagues for the great service.

I went in because my MacBook Pro stopped working. It was 8 years old. First I was told that "we don't service obsolete equipment". When I asked if the technician could look at it quickly and give me an idea if it was fixable the clerk reluctantly took it out back. Five minutes later I was told that the motherboard was shot. Through sheer luck I heard about an apple certified tech in Saint John. I took it to him and $150 later I had my mac back. Turns out the operating system was too much for my model. He reformatted the drive, loaded an earlier operating system and did a restore from an external backup that I had. It has worked fine for a year.

This is the only "apple" store type thing fredericton has. It accomplishes what it needs to be but don't expect it to be cheap. The staff are always polite and nice to deal with. I had my laptop screen fixed here, it was 1100$ I think but the service was prompt, a quote, appointment, fixing, was all done within a week and I haven't had issues since.

Then Devin was right there to transfer all data from an old IPad to a new one . He was very clear and helped us so much ..we older folks need lots of help! We would recommend Jump Plus to anyone.
