Called ahead, I knew I had a swollen battery, they indicated the had two iPhone 5 batteries in stock. 19 minutes used on parking and with walking to and from the car, fast would be an understatement. Less than half the cost of the service an Apple Reseller could provide [who would have taken days to get the part in stock, IF they could get the part in stock]. Clean, down to business, and offered advice on how to condition my new battery for use. Very pleased. Thank you.

Brought my phone to get the screen replaced. The phone now has a new screens but does not work properly. There is some overheating in my phone. I brought it back to get that fix. They looked at it but ignored my problem. It essentially ruined my phone.

Great service. They fixed my phone in 30 minutes after Apple told me that it couldn't be fixed and that I had to buy a new one. I tried another repair store first but they screwed up my phone even worse. I should have gone with Gadget Fix from the start.

Went in a few weeks ago and asked to have a part ordered in for my phone that I was thinking was broken. When I went back in a asked to have the part replaced, was given a quote and estimated time for the fix. When I came back later on I was told that the part I assumed was broken wasn't the issue. I wasn't charged for this diagnosis. Service was quick and I appreciate the quality of service. Would definitely recommend.

Even though my phone wasn't fixed, the hour and a half labour the hut spent on it, was on the house, although, I did have to sort of beg on the phone with him to have another look with the piece of plastic taken out, still not sure how the pins got messed up in the SD card slot, when I was told it would be 70.00 plus that's when I said have another look, cuz I didn't feel so great about basically paying for nothing. But, when I went down there, maybe it was a different guy, not sure, but he said, since it couldn't be fixed, no charge. So, that was a good thing I guess, that was proper business practices, I build, re-buikd and repair computers, and I'm the same say, no matter how much time I put in, if it's not fixed it's free, labour shouldn't be a given, it should be determined by wether or not the product was fixed, so yea, I did line that part a lot, thanks guys. I gave 4 stars for your honesty and good practices!!!

Very pleased with the service provided. Very professional and screen repair was perfect. Super happy. Prices for screen on fancy new phones are pricey (like $250) but its better than $800-$1,000 for a new phone or going back to a 3 year old used Kijiji phone! Highly recommended!

I booked an appointment online and even verified by email directly, not relying on the web booking tool alone. I showed up to be told that the repair person was not in today. I drove way out of the way to save 40.00, based on good reviews here. Edited to ad, the owner contacted me and said he had a family emergency, would have been nice if that was communicated to me but it happens I guess.

After I changed a screen on LG5 his front camera showing in blue and my GPS stoped working. I called you to ask what's wrong with the camera why it's in blue it's a screen or something in the camera? You told that screen is regular and maybe it's in camera . I said ok I will check, but you didn't tell me to come and that you want it to see. Thanks.

*Edited to remove a couple of specifics as I may have misremembered part of the conversation in store because I was upset, and to add a couple of specifics that were previously excluded.* I messaged Gadget Fix on Facebook and was told they had the screen I needed for replacement. I told them I needed to check if I would have the funds available. As soon as I knew I would be able to go, I messaged them that I would be in the next day and to check their hours were 9AM-1PM (that message was sent after they closed Friday evening, but they replied confirming those hours so I know they received the message). I arrived less than an hour after they opened. They said a girl was waiting when they opened for that same screen. Instead of asking her to wait since someone else was coming for it, they did her repair and treated me like I was the one who came in with no notice. While they had not made an official contract with them, they had not informed me that I needed to officially reserve the screen, asked me to commit to a specific appointment time, or suggested in any way that they would not have the screen if someone came in after I had confirmed I would be in. When they had sold the screen I was coming for that day, they didn't even have the decency to message me to let me know it was gone, and they were barely apologetic. I held myself together enough to calmly tell them that I would check around and might come back, but the customer service was so dismaying that I cried after leaving the shop. I called Irvine Phone repair who said they didn't have the screen. They were very kind and recommended other businesses I could try. Fortunately Mobile Klinik had the screen I needed and are Samsung certified. They were pleasant and professional, and even slightly cheaper. I stand by my 1 star review.

Edited for a response to his reply: We went to get my phone fixed and the man gave my husband a hard time because my phone was an American model. My phone's charging port was not working. He said he could not get the parts because they weren't sold anywhere around here so he would buy cheaper replacement parts. When my husband got home and told me I popped right up the best buy location in fredericton. Which not only sold my phone model but the replacement parts we were told were needed and they weren't the only place but I thought as long as my phone works that's all that mattered to me. We had a newborn baby girl at home and it was the only phone I had at home, he traveled a lot and we saw no point paying for a home phone When we both had cell phones. They charged after taxes a hundred dollars for it. Maybe I'm wrong but that seems quite pricy when it wouldn't take very long to do. A month later we had the same problem with it not charging. I was only using the official charger the company gave me with the phone. I thought well I just got the phone fixed so it must be the charger so I spent more than $20 on a new official charger from the company. Still didn't work. My husband travels a lot and is usually gone during their hours and with a new baby and still recovering from birth I couldn't bring it in. The phone went back and forth from charging and a day after it hit three months (the warranty they gave us) it stopped charging completely. We have tried both chargers with other devices and they have not given us any problems at all. So now in have to buy a whole new phone after paying $100 for a very short lived fix, won't be using this repair place again. Update: I have been unable to find a place to respond to your reply so I am doing it in an update. This much be some confusion with which customer you think I am. I don’t use a real name on social media so not sure at all how you could respond that you know who this is. We were told that you could not order the actually parts not that you were ordering from the US. Plus I did not go back in because it stopped completely working at the theee month mark, a lot to pay for something to only work for three months. So your description of me coming in ‘quite some time saying that it was not charging properly. I plugged the phone in to a normal charger and It charged just fine. You had a befuddled look on your face and left with your phone. You left and I assumed that everything was OK because we never heard from you again.’ Is completely made up!!!!!! We choice this place because it has good reviews and we decided to give the benefit of the doubt about the negative ones because you took the time to respond and had a good explanation but if you are going to make up the results of my visit than how many others have you? Soon after you ‘fixed’ it other parts of the phone I had no problems with it before started to go and it stopped working conpletely. I was very careful after you fixed it with not putting the cord in a bad angle and twisting it around because I wanted to make sure it lasted because money was very tight with us with a new baby

Best customer service, and cheapest option for phone repair in Fredericton by FAR. We had two cases where Telus and jump+ said the repair would be 400$ and take a week. The helpful staff here fixed it in 1 hour for 80$. Will always recommend this place to friends and family.

My phone went black all of a sudden and wouldn't turn on. The Apple store in the mall said that I needed to buy a new one. Took it here and he fixed it in a few minutes. He said that it was common for iPhones to go black and all he had to do was hold a couple of buttons. Didn't charge me either. Great service.

I got the screen on my iPhone 6 replaced here a little under a year ago. This weekend my wifi stopped working so I took my phone into Jump in the mall. After taking a look at my phone they asked me if I had had any parts replaced and I told them that I had had my screen replaced at Gadget Fix. They said the person who replaced it used fake parts, and did a particularly terrible job (for example the screen didn't fit properly within the frame, there were screws not screwed in properly, etc.). This caused a lot of damage to the hardware in my phone, so much so that there was nothing they could do and I now have to get a whole new phone. The guy at Jump said that most companies that do repair jobs like this do use fake parts, but again, that the person at Gadget Fix did a horrible job. I was previously recommending Gadget Fix to friends, as it's a cheap fix to get your screen repaired, but obviously I will be doing the opposite of recommending them now. For $200 or whatever it was I paid, I expected them to know what they were doing. With my new phone I'll be sucking it up and paying the $167 for Apple Care. Just in response to your reply - I've noticed in other negative reviews as well that instead of taking responsibility, you blame people - every other phone company in the city seems to be out to get you. It doesn't make you look very professional. A simple "Sorry we didn't do a great job and will work to be better" would be much more effective. FYI.

Cracked the screen of my new Blackberry Key 2 at 2PM on Friday Nov 9. Went into Gadget fix at 4 PM. New screen ordered. Screen came in Wed Nov 14. They called me at 1230, told me that if I could being the phone in to them in the next hour they could have it ready by end of day. Dropped the Key 2 off at 115, picked it up looking and working like new at 4 PM. Cost VERY reasonable. Let's be clear... This is one of the best and fastest service I have ever received, on any appliance, anywhere, ever! Well deserved 5 Stars!

Horrible. I had to pay $170 to get the screen fixed on my lg phone and the screen had about 5 cracks in it the next day while in the case the whole time without dropping it. As it turns out they put a cheap chinese phone screen instead of the real high quality screen lg delivers. Worst of all, they didnt live up to their 90 day warrent because within 2 days, they wouldnt fix it because they dont cover "cracks". Never going there again.

Overpriced for services,Not recommended, Definitely can find a cheaper place to get your product fixed, prices he charges you can buy the parts cheaper on Amazon and other places like Irving phone repair cost a third of what he charges,He needs the side business of selling fishing products to cover the rent

No stars for this dude. I got my Ipad air fixed end of July 2017. The new screen he put on it cracked within hours of getting it back . he fixex it again and it was good for about 2 weeks and then the corner cracked. it still worked and I was away on vacation. Recently, outside of the 3 month warranty he gives, the screen lifted away a but from the ipad and the home button no longer works. I would not recommend this man's work
