I haven't been to the new location yet, but guess I probably will have to. It really creates a hardship for me and other people who live in the Fayetteville area, or in my case, 25 miles west of Fayetteville, to now have to travel all the way to Rogers for our computer problems. Now instead of just driving 25 miles one way, I'll have to drive 40 or more miles one way. That might not seem like much to most people, but it sure makes a difference to me. If not for the fact that I greatly prefer Macs to PCs, I'd probably start trying to make a switch. Seems to me that a location in Fayetteville would be quite beneficial and would definitely draw more business from that area of potential or existing customers who don't want to make that drive. I'm going to go ahead and give a Very Good quality rating because I'm sure the service will be just that or better when I do make the trip, but for location, my quality rating would be Poor.

Just wanted to share the following, I called because I purchased a new Macbook Pro this year and wanted to erase and restore my old one to give it away. The associate who answered the phone was name Katie, I had to ask for her name twice which was off putting enough. Katie let me know they could do the work for $99. I called Simply Mac, just down the street and they do the same work for $69. I called Katie back and asked if they wanted to match or beat that price. She simply stated "no, we have done $99 for quite a while so you can go ahead and go over there". Good Luck keeping the doors open with type of mentality about earning business...

Waiting to buy an in-hand item while the sales people go through the process of checking in computers for repair is frustrating and has happened upon each visit. The last time I just walked out. They also won’t do appointments for repairs. So a 2hr repair means being without your phone or computer for “5-7 days”. “No exceptions” they said. Their competitor across the road does repair appointments and has more than one person at the front to keep the line moving. I really wanted to like MegaByte.

I'm an avid Apple user and Megabyte fixed the Retina display on my 2020 MacBook Air. Special shoutout to Brandon who provided excellent customer service to me when I wasn't being very nice. With COVID-19 going on and just life in general, deliveries and such are delayed and I 100% overreacted and it was NOT Megabyte's fault at all. I have since apologized profusely and from now on I will always take my Apple products to them for repairs. My baby is fixed and my roommates cats teeth aren't going ANYWHERE near it again. Thank y'all so much for the excellent job.

I had a MacBook I needed to get looked at because there was a recurring problem of the screen flashing after periods of long use. Being an online student, I'm on my MacBook a lot and needed it fixed soon before winter break ended. Was pleased with my service because unlike Simply Mac who seems to never answer their phone, Megabyte answered on my first attempted phone call. It took only 4 days for them to fix it, which consisted of them replacing the entire top half of the Macbook, and I got it back before break ended. Simply Mac would just tell me "it'll take like a month" "we aren't accepting repairs right now". Drove to Simply Mac twice from Fayetteville for absolutely no reason because both times they said to come back later or call and they hardly ever answer anyway. Drove to Megabyte once to drop off and once to pick up. Very fast and friendly. My one and only complaint is that they did not call me within 24 hours like they said they would after they did diagnostics on my MacBook, but since I had Apple Care to cover it anyway that didn't really matter since I didn't need a price quote. I'm very glad it was done before my break ended. Thank you Megabyte!

I didn't know anything about this place and best buy actually suggest I go to them for help with getting my battery replaced in my iPhone. Really nice people and since they only work on apple products, they know what are doing.

They charged me $350.07 for getting a SSD and a 1 TB hard drive put in and Best Buy will do everything for under $200 wish I checked with them first... And now I’m being charged a $53.00 part’s and labor fee to disassemble the computer? I was never called or informed on the price but I figured it would be cheaper then known places like Best Buy clearly was wrong and they also tried saying the that the 1 TB hard drive costed $179.00 like what the hell? Update: I confront the builder why there saying a 1 TB retails for $179.00 and he stuttered his words and finally said that’s how much it retails here... DONT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANY COMPUTER RELATED ISSUES... - the only reason this pisses me off so much is that they forced me to pay $53.00 for the parts and labor.

I had a 10 day old iPhone XS that wouldn’t turn on. I was told by ATT to go to Megabyte’s or the Mac store at Pinnacle. I initially went to the Mac store, but they got so busy that I left and went back to talk to ATT. After talking to ATT, I went to Megabyte’s. They ran a diagnostic on my phone and sent it to Apple for repair. The guys were really nice and kept me well informed. They immediately addressed everyone that came in the door. They were very patient with my questions (I’m not much of a tech guru). I will use them in the future.

my computer was not turning on and I had a DVD inside. They returned the computer in a better condition and fixed it! However, they stole my DVD it has been a whole month I been calling and I only get excuses. The Fort Smith location has horrible costumer service, but is the only place around that can fix Apple computers.

Megabyte fixed my computer for about $100! They were very professional and did everything they could to save my computer without replacing the hard drive (which would have cost more)- and guess what?? It works great now! The other place I went said the hard drive crashed and told me it was worth maybe $60 to sell to them! Crazy. Thanks, Megabyte, for fixing it!

Megabyte is great! Customer service is excellent and the repair turnaround time is incredible! My MacBook pro screen cracked and I was planning on paying up to 600 bucks for the repair, but Megabyte asked all the right questions and found out it was still under warranty! Went here with an old IMac Desktop I couldn’t get running, and they communicated themselves very well and were very excited to help me out and play with it. Super friendly, Wes and his co-workers treated me like they had known me for years and got my problem fixed quick and at a reasonable price. Highly suggest taking all your apple needs to these guys.

I have been using Megabyte for at least 5-6 years. They have fixed computers and helped me with my network at work. I have always had a good experience with them. I have gotten to know some of the sales staff (Michael and Wes) who are great to work with.

Northwest Arkansas does not have an Apple Store but I would much rather have these guys. Go see Adam, he was incredibly helpful and made it such an easy experience. I had malfunctioning EarPods and they were able to have them replaced under warranty. It took 5 minutes out of my day and I was impressed by their level of customer service. Thanks Adam!

Had a crack on the screen on an Ipad and brought it here to be fixed. They fixed the screen just fine but after I got it back half of the screen was darkened. When I brought it back in they said it was due to a faulty logic board and there was nothing they could do about it. Very suspicious how everything was fine prior to me dropping it off to fix a cracked screen but once they worked on it the logic board was bad. They claim that it wasn't caused during their repair but all the evidence indicates otherwise. Despite the fact that they are the only place in NW Arkansas that will work on Apple products I will not be going back to them again should the need arise. I'd rather drive to Tulsa than have them screw up my property again.

Went in to get a display for my Mac swapped out under a replacement program through Apple. After a couple of small hiccups, the team at Megabyte got it done! On top of that, they took it upon themselves to change out some additional parts that needed to be replaced under other replacment programs through Apple. I appreciate them getting it all taken care of on one trip and keeping it simple for me.

I figured this place would be super sketchy like the other cell phone repair stores in the area. But to my surprise, it was the opposite! Very neat and clean. The people that work there were extremely knowledgeable and kind. My phone was not repairable, so they had to send it off to get a replacement. To my surprise, they offered me a loaner phone for no charge. My new phone came in earlier than expected and was covered under apple care. Thanks for making an annoying situation MUCH easier.

When it comes to iphone service. Megabytes is on point. They may have slightly slower turn around, but this is because they are with apple instead of some shady third party provider. EVERYTHING they do will keep good accordance with APPLE.

My iPhone battery needed to be replaced and they took care of it in less than two hours at a fair price. I highly recommend going to them if you need your iPhone battery replaced.

Poor communication I have a tentative 2 star due to a poor experience to this point. I left a laptop last week and was told I would quickly receive a call with initial diagnosis and cost estimate. I had to call multiple times before I had the initial diagnosis and was told the plan was to move some content to an external drive and the charge is $199.00. Good news as now I know what to budget and we at least have a path forward. I waited two days an called again and was told the technician has the machine open and was copying the data, I expected resolution on Friday 31 July. When I rang today i was asked if I had an external drive, and was told they were out of stock at Megabyte and they had been expecting them this week but the shipment had not arrived. I asked if I brought a drive, could that work and was told yes it would. I immediately left and purchased a 4 TB drive and left at the store. Had I known I needed to provide my own drive I would have provided one immediately. When at the site to leave the drive I asked if the $199 was labor or did that include the external drive. I then learned that was just the labor. Two huge gaps of communication there. I can’t imagine the management accepts this lack of transparency with customers. I am not happy!!! My laptop is ready today, finally. I still can’t give more stars

So disappointed in their customer service. Does not live up to their promise of replacing glass iPhone screen protectors. As a lifelong Apple/Mac user, i use to tell everyone to go to Megabyte. Now, I cannot recommend them based on the way they treated me. Sad to see a business change an no longer take care of their customer base

My 13" MBP Retina display cracked. I took it to them on a Thursday around noon. They said they would overnight a new screen from Apple, and it would take "about a week, so next Thursday at the latest". They called me the NEXT day, on Friday afternoon, telling me the screen repair was finished!! I wish I could give 6 stars to these polite, competent people!! Amazing service company! Do not use a certain (very incompetent) competitor across the interstate in the mall.
