My Iphone6s was dying immediately without the life support attached to it and sometimes even with it. Everyone suggested I get a new phone which may have been over $400. I decided to take my chances with a new battery. Long story short I got a new battery and they put a new screen protector on and cleaned it up for a total of $70. Now it's practically brand new. This is the place to go.

My laptop hard drive was in bad shape and the laptop itself was broken beyond repair. I purchased a reasonably priced refurbished laptop from them, then learned from John, the technician, that it might not be possible to transfer all of my hard drive data to the new laptop, particularly Microsoft Office applications. I was crushed, as years of genealogy data and other very important files looked as if they might not be able to be transferred. John, the tech here in Fort Smith, kept me totally updated while it was there, and I was devastated to think I might lose years and years of data collected (my own dumb fault because I did not back it up anywhere), but this morning received an early Christmas gift. Through much effort on their part, John and Frank were able to capture ALL of my data and everything in MS Office, as well as all photos and documents! I am so grateful to John for his perseverance and hard work - he knew how much it meant to me to have everything back. He and Frank are miracle workers, because I know it was not an easy task, but they didn't give up! I give them a 10 - and highly recommend their services to anyone with gadget problems. They stuck with it until it was done and went above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction - thank you, John and Frank!!

I had one question, can you save my existing passwords? The guy said"I think so. I'll ask my supervisor." Will the answer is NO. They can't save passwords. I don't think they tried. What they did do is Bluetooth about 230 of 487 photos and charged me $32. Will they got me one time, I'll never be back.

My iPhone 5 was dropped yesterday and shattered in the left upper corner of the screen, not too bad but it needed to be fixed. Came in at 6 and it still wasn't done, so I had to wait, which was fine! But I think the guy working on it just rushed to get it done because I was waiting. The LCD on the bottom right and left corners is still bleeding out, and for the 149 dollars I paid, I expect it to be fixed CORRECTLY. Overall, Customer service: 3/5 Price: 5/5 (same price all over town) Technical service: 2/5, screen looks great but the LCD will continue to bleed. UPDATE**** The owner of GG, Cole, emailed me shortly after my visit and wanted to fix the phone free of charge for me! I came back soon after and the guys fixed the phone right away! Very friendly staff and Cole is awesome and very friendly! Thank you SO MUCH, Gadget Grave.

I had a cracked iPad screen, and heard that Gadget Grave would be able to fix it. I took it in on a Wednesday, and was told that it would be ready in 48 hours. It was ready in that time frame. Here is the one problem. I live an hour away. After I got home, I began to use it only to discover that the home button was loose. It would move around underneath the screen. This made it unusable as the button eventually moved into a position that it got stuck at. It was taken back the next morning to show the problem. They took it back to fix the problem, and it was ready in 3 hours. I have had no issues since then. It would not have been an inconvenience if I lived closer. However, I am pleased with the end result and the willingness to solve the problem. I have used some online companies before to fix these type of problems with gadgets. I have no problem going back to them for solutions.

Yesterday I broke the screen on my phone (crazy pregnancy hormones). Gadget Grave was the only place in town I knew of off hand that did phone repairs. I rushed across town and made it right as they were closing up shop. After explaining my situation, one of the techs offered to stay late and repair my phone. So part one. my note 9 suspiciously has a broken camera lens ???????????? So I took it up there in a panic cause I have never broken a phone In the entire 15 years I have owned a phone. I had no idea what was about to happen and honestly I was freaking out. This is NOT a cheap phone. The staff was very busy but courteous and told the people waiting they would be right with them!! So the part that I need they do not have in stock so they will need to special order it. Being a couple days from being able to have it fixed, he went over a couple useful tips to keep the exposed camera safe until I can get it fixed. Super happy with the way things are going. I had called a couple of stores asking about the fix for an issue I was having with my iphone 8+. Prior to calling Gadget Grave, the best news I had received from another authorized Apple repair facility in town was that it would cost a minimum of $189, and most likely around $430. Then I spoke to Rob at Gadget Grave. Explained everything to him and he says “Oh man that sounds like just a loose screw. Bring it in and let me look.” I showed up and Rob took my phone back for about 5 minutes and brought back good as new. Sure enough, just a loose screw. And to top it off, he didn’t charge me for it. So, whatever your gadget issues are, please go see these guys. Absolutely outstanding service.

Took an iPhone here to get the screen replaced and had a horrible experience. One of the workers, Alex Gordon, called and said that he could back up all my photos (almost 1,000 photos) and contacts and notes before doing a factory restore of my phone (which was needed to update my iOS and thus to replace the screen). I asked if I could get all my pics back, and he said Yes, and that he would put them on a hard drive. So he replaced the screen and restored my phone, but now gone are all my contacts, 3 years worth of notes and 3 years worth of pics!!! The only photos on the hard drive were from 2012! On top of this, they charged me 70 bucks for the repair and an additional 20 for the backup and flash drive! I returned a day later to see if they could possibly do a data recovery for my deleted photos (Bc I never backed it up to iCloud or iTunes), and Alex hid in the back while one of the front desk workers struggled to tell me that there was nothing they could do. He even went in the back to ask Alex, who still couldn't even come out to tell us face to face. This place is a hot mess and their technicians are not that savvy with poor customer service and overcharged prices. I would recommend seeing phone doctors or best buy over these guys. I'm never returning here again.

First off, let me say I have been a loyal customer of Gadget Grave for many years. In fact I was using Gadget Grave when Cole would drive all over Fort Smith picking up and then dropping off your phone if need so he could repair it. Unfortunately, today I found out it is not the same Gadget Grave. I brought in my IPhone 7 for standard screen replacement. The customer support team member quoted the price, took down then information then went to the back to see if they had the parts and when the technician could repair. They had everything and could have it done in a couple of hours. This is the type of service that I’ve always gotten from GG. At the end of the standard test and work order, the customer support tells me. This phone has a break risk and if we break it, it will be $75 repair job but we will take off $25 dollars. What!! If you break it, I pay more? She said yes, it doesn’t always break but if it does, customer will be responsible for the repair fee (or I guess not repair and keep the broken phone). When I told her I’ve been in the store teens of times for various repair jobs and have never been told I was liable for if GG breaks something. She said that’s the way it is. I cancelled the order and took my phone down the street to another reputable (not some craigs list ad) repair store. They took the order and they did not mention anything about being liable for additional repairs if the store breaks anything. My advice to GG is that if you don’t trust your technicians enough to fix a screen without breaking something else, get different technicians. If getting technicians you trust it isn’t an option, then either assume the risk or turn down the repair job. Basically, telling the customer that depending on “how well we do our job” you may or may not be charged a price that is nearly double the original repair quote is not the right business practice…..at least for my business.

A very happy customer. I had an excellent experience today at Gadget Grave in Fort Smith, AR. I took my iPhone 5s in to have the LCD glass replaced expecting to have to leave my phone and return the following day to pick it up. Somewhat stressed over this, Dylan O helped me in the store and explained it usually only takes about two hours however because it was only 30 minutes until they closed for the day, they would not be able to get it done today. Already expecting this and depressed over it, I agreed to come back the following day at noon. Dylan proceeded to take my information and check out my phone for other damages being thorough and careful then he radioed to the techs in the back to confirm the following day at noon was fine. To my surprise, he informed me they would be able to do it right away before closing. In less than 30 minutes of walking into the store, I had my phone repaired and back in my possession. I had a Monday from hell on a Friday. On my way to my son's school in Arkansas coming from OKC, my iPhone died. I stopped in Sallisaw and they recommended me to Gadget Grave further down the road. One guy said that I would have to leave it overnight for power diagnostics. Not possible. Then Chris stepped in and informed me about my Asurion insurance. Some poor girl there had to endure my bad jokes as I was desperately begging for a Valium dispenser trying not to have a nervous breakdown. All my son's school appointment and contact information was on the phone. Chris sold me a flip phone and activated it so that I would at least voice communications while travelling. That was the best $75 backup plan at the time. This place helped me get to my son's appointment in Subiaco even though I was a nervous wreck when I got back home at 2:30am.

Later I had a ghosting issue with the screen and GG paid to ship it back to them from where I live in Washington state. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and they have some good deals on used phones. BUT if something goes wrong with your phone, they will screw you. I bought a used phone from them last Fall. I've been very happy with until it quit working. I took it in and they said it was water-damaged, It hadn't been near any wayer, so what happened? "Maybe it was already damaged" they told me. So you knowingly sold me a defective phone? Well, they said they could fix my phone if I left it overnight. Well, "overnight" turned into a WEEK with a plethora of BS excuses "the tech isn't here today" was popular (why is he not in? Sick? Vacation? Why didn't you tell me before I left my phone?). Finally I got my phone back, but something wasn't quite right: it overheated a lot. "Sorry no warranty" on the fixing water damage. If it fixes the problem, great. If not, tough luck, thanks for paying in advance. The screen broke the other day, so I took it back in to get an estimate on fixing it: $150 plus tax !! I only paid $125 for it. I'd do it myself if I knew how: a replacement screen costs less than $10, so why $150? Markup the screen price to $20, then $130 Labor? Maybe this is their way of trying to sell me a new phone rather than fix what I have? Hey look! There's my phone on e-bay for less than half of what GG wanted to charge for a repair. Guess I don't need Gadget Grave to robe me, after all,

Gadget Grave is the first place I think of when I need a device repaired or need a quality used item. I generally have had superior experiences buying from them or having things repair. I am not satisfied with my recent Gadget Grave experience. I took my phone in on the 26th to be diagnosed and repaired if needed. I did not receive a call back from them stating that my phone was ready for pick up but decided to stop by since I would be in the neighborhood. I did called earlier in the day to see if my phone was ready, with no answer but left a voicemail. A very polite sales associate looked up my information and told me that the repair tech "just had to clean the charging port, and nothing was wrong". The sales associate could not turn my phone on and said that "it must be dead". It is my fault for going there at closing but when I got to my car to plug my phone in to charge, it came on and died. The charging lite does not even lite up. I tried to go back but they were already locked up for the night. I tried to contact Gadget Grave from their website but can not leave the information needed or submit my number or email. I know that Gadget Grave is a very busy place with a lot of people to help and I would not have minded leaving my phone there had it not been ready. The last time I bought a phone from them it was locked and I had to return the next day to get it unlocked to be able to use it. I have learned my lesson the hard way band will never pick up an item from there without it being on and activated to make sure it works. I hope I can either get my phoned repaired or a refund of my $32.93. I support small business and local business as much as possible and have hope that this will be made right soon.

I recently bought a phone from these guys after my buddy Josh told me there was a sale going on and my daughter had saved up some cash for an IPhone 6. My wife went and got the phone, took it home and noticed that the battery was acting strange. Well, guess what? Josh was like, "bring it in tomorrow and I'll fix it up like it just left the assembly line". I took it in, and I kid you not, he had the phone fixed in no more than an hour. What can this guy not do? He sold the phone, handled the customer service like a boss, then got the battery squared away before I could even finish my lunch. Needless to say, Josh is the phone whisperer. If you have a problem with your phone, go into the store, holler "Josh!", drop the phone on the counter and walk away. Your job is done. Josh will handle things now. I have been going to him with phone issues for several years and he has never let me down.

Gadget Grave brought my laptop back to life. I have a Dell Precision M6600 that had the video card die a few months ago. While living in another city I took it in to a different shop to have them diagnose what was wrong and give me a quote. They quoted me at 800 bucks to replace the video card. Gadget Grave did it for half as much. Gadget Grave was also quick in that they had my laptop back to me in less than a week. Bottom line, I would use Gadget Grave again for any computer repair issues I have in the future.

Caveat Emptor - let the buyer beware. Replacement screen is not as good quality as Apple iPhone screen I had the option of getting my iphone 7+ screen replaced at an apple store for about $140 dollars, or at Gadget Grave for about $100. Since it was past warranty, I chose Gadget Grave. What I didn't know, and wasn't told when I called to ask the GG price (however it might've been in the small print on my invoice) - and should've found out (hence the "caveat emptor" warning) is that GG uses "after market" glass on the screen. Unfortunately, I dropped the phone - which I had done a number of times with Apple iPhone glass with no damage and this time it completely shattered the screen. I asked an employee before having GG fix it - again - and learned what I wrote above. The employee told me that if they used Apple iPhone quality glass the repair would've cost over $300 - so, had I known the screen was less than Apple iPhone quality I would've either paid the extra money to get Apple to fix it or been a LOT more careful. But still, my responsibility to get all the information - as I noted to start - caveat emptor.

Took Iphone 5 to get power button and erratic battery charging issue repaired. Gadget Grave repaired the power button, cleaned out the charging port and replaced the battery. The power button repair worked great, but the erratic charging was still a problem, so we returned it to them. The additional repair to fix the phone was going to be very expensive, so they refunded my money except for the standard (approx.)$32 evaluation fee. We were able to turn the phone into Verizon and get an $80 credit towards a new phone--only because the power button was repaired by Gadget Grave, so we were very happy with our repair experience.

Have always been happy with Gadget Grave in the past. But sadly I have to say this time I left not as happy with them. I had a laptop hard drive crash. They took care of me by replacing the hard drive. But wasn't able to pull my stuff off the old hard drive. Which I understand is a hard process to do and they didn't charge me for it since they weren't able to get my stuff. But what I have to say that I was up set with was the techs/ front desk workers. I talk to two of them. One name Josh and the other I can't remember his name. They were rude in my personal opinion and smart alecks how they talk to me a paying customers. I have used them to replace the blu ray optical in my PS3, replace the blu ray drive in my laptop, and install a new screen on my IPHONE 3gs. Sometimes I not only get same day service repair, but some things like the iphone screen replacement was done on my lunch break! Oh, and that Iphone died due to totally unrelated causes a couple of months later and they bought the iphone back for the same price they charged for the screen to use for spare parts (they told me something on the motherboard fried or got wet). Awesome experience every time and the guy who runs the front desk (owner?) is very friendly and knowledgeable with just about anything you can ask him.

I took my HTC One X to Gadget Grave to have the LCD and Digitizer replaced after I dropped it. They replaced the parts in a timely manner but later in the day after using the phone I noticed a dead spot in the screen so i took it back the next day and without hesitation they ordered another part. Once the second part arrived I took the phone back in and they installed the second part and noticed it was defective as well and instead of ordering a third part they took the extraordinary step of actually cannibalizing an in stock phone for the necessary parts. Has quite the selection for phones, accessories and repairs. What they lack was customer service. I came in and even stood at counter area for assistance. I was asked once after 5 mins if I'd been helped, I replied "no sir." He walked off and returned and helped another customer that came in after I had. Then as I wait 15-20 mins for service, there was 3 more walk ins that was helped, yet I had been waiting patiently. I understand being busy or getting sidetracked, some. Had to wait in line for a little over an hour to drop off my phone for repairs since there is only one person helping customers. Went back the next day to get my phone, there was 11 people in line, the person in front of me stated they had already been waiting 1.5 hours. I went inside to see what was going on. One person helping customers and even on a pick up you have to wait over 2 hours in line to get your phone back. They feel that since they are the only ones in town they can make you do what they want.

I had always had good luck with this place until this last time. I won't go into details because my experience continued for nearly a month. I took my phone in for a new battery and never got it back. Yes. They replaced but only after weeks of a lack of communication between them and me and between the techs. I understand there has been a lot of staff changes with the mess going on with Covid 19. Just use caution if you decide to use this place. Unfortunately, I will no longer use them and I cannot in good faith, reccomend them to family or friends.

Took in my working Alienware laptop. It would not charge the battery. The gave it back said chipset went out and was pretty much worthless. Come to find out after almost 2 years it was them screwing up my operating system. So it took a bit of work to get the software lined out. So they lied to me and now the battery still will not charge. I spent money and got nothing but wortless service. Never again.

Had screen replaced on my wife's phone. It worked about 6 months and they wanted $200 more to fix it. It was still under warranty but they claimed it was damaged accidentally so they didn't have to repair their poor repair job. PhoneDoctors only wants $129. Don't expect them to honor the warranty.

My iphone had broken screen components.. I called the store at about 4:45 PM. I was told that they could replace the damaged parts by closing time at 6 PM if I could get the phone there quickly. They did a full function test and charged me about $ 110, which was cheaper than Apple, which would have necessitated postage, or a trip to the Apple store in Tulsa. My phone functions flawlessly. I highly recommend this company for repairs needed outside of Apple's warranty. The price charged me by Gadget Grave was less than the extended plan pitched by Apple . I was unaware of Gadget Grave until I spoke with a friend. The employees are nice and explain things in plain language. I will definitely take my other devices to Gadget Grave. They warranted my new parts for 6 months.
