Clean and friendly
Good ‼️
All ways friendly good services
Everything we needed and more.
Not gonna lie... home boy got all my car needs and also helped me return a defective item with ease , #GlaceBayBi
Smaller store but good. When they show stuff online it is actually there not like another CT close by.
I love the ladies that work here.. they are always there willing to help me with anything.. very friendly.. must be the country air!!
Access to most products however supplies tend to be low so you may find they have run out , especially during sales. Lots of parking and overall good selection.
Always good deals
When u order sometime online and pay for it already you would think it would be a quicker experience when to get to the store to pick up your item, but with Canadian Tire that is NOT the case, and this wasn't the first time either, there should ALWAYS be someone at the back counter to help wit the online orders, because that is the way of the world now (ordering online) and it should be am easier experience then it actually is.
Staff always amazing . Love this Canadian tire
Great sales!!Always great service!!!
Always great prices on pet food.
excellent store a bit small but all the people are friendly
Sometimes it takes a long time to get help.
They were very kind and knowledgable and helpful.
Went here to pick up paint and supplies the lady in this (I'm afraid I don't know her name)she previously worked at the home hardware in GB , she was very knowledgeable and helpful and did both businesses proud. Thank you for the excellent service.
Nice people around
Well kept store.. it's very clean the workers are always on the ball keeping shelves stocked and there when you need them.
Very good
It's okay today. ????
Great place to shop nice staff excellent prices...
I visit a hardware store daily. This isn't it. When I saw wood shims for $4.59 and then saw the identical package at Menards for $.99, I decided to do all my shopping across.
Lots of tasteful stuff at a decent price. Definitely Canada's tool shed, they have everything.
Nice enough store if you know what you're looking for and can find it yourself. Difficult to find staff to assist you though. I like to visit the website and make myself a list with the aisle numbers ahead of time so I'm not searching forever.
Cute little small town Canadian Tire store in Glace Bay. Can Tire doesn't have that great a reputation when it comes to car repair, but not this one! I take my favourite cars to get worked on and they never let me down!
Not from this area, but was made to feel welcome @ every moment & also pet friendly(she was treated like a princess). So relaxing
That Garrett guy really knows what hes doing!!
Got a great deal on winter tires and front end alignment. Staff took very good care of me. Coming back for summer tires in the spring.
Great Canadian Tire. Lots of spring goods. Firearms etc. Love it.
They were quick to help us find what we were looking for. Very nice employees. Thank you
I gave this store 1 star because I called the store for a hour and no one picks up I called every extension and no answer
Great store, lots of friendly staff
Staff helpful, place is well maintained n kept nicely stocked.
Poor customer service
Really good customer service, bought a defective singer replaced it super fast and smooth. Now our new singer is working perfectly. Still I don’t know how they crammed everything into their tiny store but Im glad they do, they have everything.
Friendly and welcoming staff
Everything you need
They are a joke they never answer there phone they give you the wrong product then tell you it's the right one that you don't know what your talking about and then when they know your wrong no apologies I would never go to this canadian tire ever again
Friendly and helpful staff - selection is good - in store and curbside pickups have always been great
The product I called ahead for was in stock. When I went there to purchase it,there were none there. The stock number was from 2016,and not restocked after 4 years. A bit of a waste of time for me.
Always find what we need, and good prices too. Service is always great. We do sometimes find it hard to get through the aisles when there is a lot of stuff, but it’s a small price to pay when we know that they will have what we are looking for. I was very surprised for a small town store. Really impressed.
Located in the west end of town has almost everything you need for home, yard, automotive & sporting needs, great knowledgeable staff that will help you find what you're looking for, has a Mark's Work Warehouse attached as well with great quality clothing attire.
Had what we needed, easy to find, typical Canadian Tire
Small store nothing special
Canadian tire was nice. We got a real good deal on a set of pots and pans. We also got a very good deal on a tree-lighting tester. Canadian tire seams to have lots of good deals and with the American exchange we do even better.
It is a great store to shop in.
They were sold out of what I needed and maybe 2 weeks before they would get more. Is the norm at our Canadian Tire . Rain check.
No stars, thumbs down!
It's all there!
I placed an online order for pickup the next day then I got an email saying pick up in 2 days. When I phoned the store I received no help the first time. During the second call the following day a manager was very helpful finding out what happened to my order and making sure my new order was prepared first thing
Very good customer support I accidentally tried stealing a pen and they were joking around with it very good work environment it seems
I popped in to find a universal receiver for my fan. I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for until a friendly associate approached me, asked if I needed help and then quickly and efficiently looked up & then located the product. Very friendly staff and great customer service.
Always what I need
Awesome
Today at 1740 I had to go to Canadian Tire to pick up new paint. I had just made it in time because they were closing at 1800. Fortunately I went to the Canadian Tire in Fort Frances, rather than to Menards since i received wonderful, prompt service and they did not even mind that i came late (lots of stores employees would give remarks showing up that close to closing time). I was helped by a very knowledgeable employee (I believe his name was Jordan, he used to work in automotive I believe) He helped me find the perfect paint and it was even on sale! 10/10 would go back again.
Found everything i need at decent price, conveniently confirmed by the website. I pre-ordered other items in advance for pick up due to availability. The in store Cashier was obviously overwhelmed by her duties and wasnt shy about making her public display if UNPROFFESSIONALISM. Everything else was great! GO TEAM CT!!
Great place to shop
I am a Canadian Tire fan, however, sometimes it's hard to find items and someone to help. Always recommend CT
Everything we need for electrical is here.
Curbside pickup needed improvements. Thanks for being an essential service. Friendliness could improve though.
Poor management, leading to unprofessional behavior by Employees. Too bad.
The smallest CTC I've been in. The aisles are narrow which makes products difficult to find.
Dandy
Great store. Large variety of stocked items. Covid aware friendly staff. Great all around place.
Placed an online order and it was ready next day.
Friendly workers and good prices to all u need for any season
I'm going out to the car should have it by the end up with you guys dropping the next few days but will try again in a few weeks to get a hold my breath in a few days 6
Nice staff and well stocked. Good location.
While travelling to the east coast, "engine service soon" light came on and this was the closest service station available. Although they had closed one tech was cleaning up and stopped what he was doing to help. (I asked if he could read the code). Not only did he tell me the OBDII codes and cleared them, he didn't charge us. Pleasantly surprised.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about product. Store is well organized and maintained, usually well stocked.
This place is very poorly managed, disorganized and quite honestly a nightmare to deal with. Online or not - they are unhelpful, unknowledgeable and have poor customer service. Every encounter with this store is frustrating and more effort than what its worth.
I had only one employee in the last few times I went that actually wanted to help me pick out something for my car. The last few times I went i was told "I will page somebody" or told to go look for it in aisle whatever (after i already did) Customer service sucked.
A Canadian institution with lots of products of both lower and high quality. Something for everyone.
Good sales for christmas
No stock on shelves hard to find items in the store
Cheap prices
Nice store close to national planogram standard making it easy to find things
My driver's side windshield wiper shredded on Dec 30th. I stopped by your store Dec 31, hoping you'd have the correct replacement for me. After calling from the parking lot, being advised there may be a little wait, I received a call back within five minutes, and you were able to help me out. A very positive experience ending a very trying year. Great customer service! Thank you.
Like the company and products, severely dislike this particular location. Constantly disappointed with how this store is run, from refused orders to down right denial of service
Love Canadian Tire, Glace Bay staff is awesome, always helpful and friendly.
Very good customer service, especially from Mackenzie. She was very helpful in showing me the screws I was looking for.
They had what I went for. They were very helpfull getting it for me and taking it out to my car. Very nice
I really love this store. I need help with 100 of concern about my car kind of new to cars. Methew in Auto parts help me selfless. Answer all my concerns ???? Thanks Methew
Lovely store, very clean, friendly staff.
Never seem to be stocked
Auto service stayed open late to help me with a blown tire. I got to my mother's birthday party in Toronto thanks to you guys. Thanks!
I was in Canadian Tire shore In Gananoque Ont and bought a swing set. they couldn't find it at first there was a sales gurl that was amazing she looked so hard.. it was found the next day and was delivered I sorry I don't remember the young lady's name I think it was Delia but Janet was amazing..
Great hours. Good selection. Conveniently located.
The service desk is the worst. The guy at the reception have a really bad attitude towards customer.applied for a credit card and my friend had to wait 35 mnts for someone to make a call to the customerc care and get the paperwork done I even missed my class Usually when u get approved it prints out in the slip and it didnt They can do a lot better woth their custoner service
Handy-dandy
Great selection
Small town feel from a huge corporation. The 'girls' at the front cash are so friendly. Anne & Lisa you are the best.
Great Canadian Tire staff really helpful
love Canadian tire but Glace Bay store is so small and dated. They do have some great staff members though.
You guys need to stay open later then 5 o'clock no one gets off work till then anyway what kinda circus are you ppl running there
Great service band friendly
Hard to find help, what I am looking for is not always in stock!!
Friendly staff helped me find what I wanted
Regular store is ok but I asked about chainsaws and the guy sais they were in the garden centre. I'm not an idiot but could not find a way in to it and the outside gate was still locked. I guess they didn't need to sell me one.
The incompetents of the people working in the automotive department is nothing short of negligence...blantently saying that the brakes (done by Kingston bath rd c.t) had nothing wrong with them, when myself and my partner have experienced a VERY obvious decline in performance since having them replaced. Do not use Canadian tire for your mechanical needs, as you might crash and die, due to shotty work. Zero stars
Way too narrow rows, can barely fit one shopping cart. Staff were not useful at all when trying to find an item they’re site said they had plenty of. Just go to the next Canadian tire honestly you’ll save more time driving a bit further.
Store is kept clean, staff always very helpful. Very happy that we have a Canadian tire in the area.
You always provide do what I need
Agree
Not much selection when it comes to anything here, and I have baught over 10 succulent plants here and over half of them died
A rather small store with tight narrow Iles, lots to choose from though, staff was friendly and helpful
It's a Canadian Tire, what else is there to say? It's fine
Quality
I just love this place. My wife calls it "MAN'S HEAVEN". I just spend time looking around for one thing and always find something else to buy.
When I need something I go nothing special
So I select these alloy wheels for my Honda Accord and they ordered it for me. Yesterday I had my appointment to get them fit on my car. When I went at Canadian tire yesterday all of sudden they said these alloys are not fitting to your car which was ordered by them after taking all the information regarding my car. So the service department lady said you have to order new ones which will take 2 weeks and then they will have to book another appointment for me which takes forever or we have steel rims which I never wanted. Not only this the lady was not even accepting that its their mistake for not ordering the product I want , she told me this way that I am gonna save more money. In the end I had to compromise after waiting more than a month because I had no other option.
Curbside pickup has been fairly simple since the Ontario covid lockdown. Stuff is usually ready within the day but sometimes can take up to a couple days depending on if you have multiple items. Always good service though.
Friendly, helpful staff. Had my order ready for me (all I had to do was pay and then we loaded & I left) right before close (only time I could get there), very nice and funny. Great experience ????
This store has everything you would expect at a Canadian Tire! They’re decor and seasonal items are always top quality. Don’t normally shop at Marks Work warehouse but we got some good quality compression pants. The staff at the counter was super friendly and helpful answer questions about the new triangle rewards and how I can put my paper Canadian Tire money onto it. Great store, well stocked!
The service was great but I had an appointment at 1:30. I waited in their lobby for 2 and a half hours for a simple tire change.
Spacious and good!
Love it
Excellent store, reasonable prices. It has a little bit of everything and usually what I am looking for. Helpful employees too
I love Canadian tire. Everytime I go I there, there are awesome sales which pushes it to the top of my list of favorite stores. I have never had a problem with returns either. Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a good android app too.
Absolutely horrendous store. These people are completely inept in every possible way and it's so blatantly obvious that it's laughable. I just went in to buy 5/16 inch vacuum hose to fix my van as I am a mechanic and know how to do it myself. I literally waited for 20 minutes at the part's desk and nobody was there. That being said, the garage service manager could see us waiting at the vacant part's desk and finally came over after 20 minutes to page "Trish". We waited another 10 minutes and there was still no sign of Trish or anyone to help us. The garage service manager had 6 people waiting in his line and his phone was ringing constantly... I don't blame him for not being able to serve me as his department was understaffed, as well. Finally after waiting 30 minutes my wife went to look for someone and there wasn't a single staff member working the floor in any department, so she got a cashier to page "Trish" again. After waiting another 10 minutes this older gentleman comes in from outside, stinking like cigarettes and barks at us "I'll be with you shortly". He removes his winter jacket and goes into the back for a few minutes before returning to serve us. I ask him for 10 feet of 5/16" rubber hose and it takes him 10 minutes to find it, a knife, and a tape measure. Finally, after 50 minutes, I had the rubber hose in my hand and proceeded to the cash. However, things didn't get better. The cashier couldn't read the writing of the guy who got my hose. His writing was all jittery because he just came in from smoking. I waited another 10 minutes as my cashier went to the parts desk to have him rewrite the product code on the masking tape he wrapped my hose in. Well, he wrote the number down wrong and the cashier still couldn't enter it into her computer... so she paged Trish. Yet again. After waiting another 5 minutes Trish finally arrived and located a "working product code". All is well, right? WRONG! She found a working code all right... a code for rubber hose that was 3 times more expensive that the size I bought. I got ripped off for an extra $16 after spending more than an hour in this store. Waiting. As if I was invisible to the few staff who were actually there. INSANE experience and it isn't the first time, either. Isn't Canadian Tire primarily and originally an AUTO PARTS store!? Why did it take more than an hour to be overcharged for a part that could heave been cut off the bulk roll within 2 minutes!? This is the WORST Canadian Tire I have ever come across. Actually, it's the worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere. I don't normally write reviews but I had to this time. PLEASE take your business to the Canadian Tire store in Kingston on Gardiner road, it's well worth the extra drive and will almost certainly save you time and money! Past bad experiences here: 1) I had an emissions test appointment booked on a Sunday and found out once I arrived that their garage is closed on Sundays. 2) I needed 20 pails of driveway sealer from the back room because they'd already removed their seasonal merchandise from the store floor for the Winter. It took me 40 minutes of circling the store to find someone who worked there and would get the sealer from the back for me. 3) I had 4 pails of sealer left over after the driveway was finished and had to return it. I walked in with a cart full of pails and handed my receipt to the clerk at the return desk. It took her over 20 minutes to figure out was going on and then she started blaming me for not being clear enough with what I needed. She insisted I wanted to pay for the sealer and had not a clue what was going on. Finally she says "I thought you wanted to pay for these" to which I replied "How often do people pay for items by handing you receipts at the return desk?" I have given this store chance after chance and they keep costing me time & money on every single visit. I'm done giving them chances and you shouldn't bother giving them any.
Great value on many tools
Alright
We had our car towed there because we were in an accident. We left by rental vehicle to our destination to come back at the end of the weekend to pick up the car and it was supposed to be repaired and ready for us to drive back home. When we came to pick it up nothing was done to it and they didnt even order the parts yet! The parts took over a week for them once they finally ordered it. So we had to carry on with our trip back home to NB with a rental vehicle which cost over $1500. When trying to pay for my work done from NB they would not accept credit card, bank transfers or cheques. We went and got a money order. John the owner didnt even know what that was! Then he was a real piece of work Rude, Yelling and Verbally Assaulting because we sent in a money order...I guess he wanted a certified cheque and didn't know what a money order looked like, Both are guaranteed funds. So after all his psychological mentally unstable attitude we find out that he wont release the car to the towing company even after the parts and service manager spoke to us and got our approval to release it. He is then telling us that we need to fax him authority to release it, that emails aren't accepted and hand written note scanned and sent to him is not accepted and that it HAS to be Faxed. As soon as he got on the phone he yells, telling me that my car has been a problem. This guy has NO customer service skills and when asked if he speaks to all his customers like this he admits and says YES, I DO! The rudest, mentally unstable man I have ever spoken too! If they had done the repair when we dropped it off as they said they were going to and completed the work on time we would not have had to spend $1500 on a rental $800 on towing to Kenora for auto shipping and $2000 to have it shipped back to us. Totaling $4300.00 expense to us because their work was NOT DONE! Instead we would have just driven our vehicle home fixed. All it needed was a wheel bearing!!!! Unbelievable!!!
Hard to find anything.
It was a great experience. I asked for and got assistance in a friendly and timely manner.
Great friendly service! Curbside was fast and easy!
Nice community store
Kid didn't know what an outdoor fry pan is.
Super nice people very helpful
Franchises are always a hit and miss but I found this location to be what you want in a Canadian Tire.
I got a great deal on Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs for my FJ, $500.00 Off because they were on Sale, check them out Online or weekly flyers you will find a deal on a lot of things you may need. Service was excellent, the tires are great and I will buy them again, along with other stuff I need in their Store.
Great store they're almost always have what you need in the prices are good they have some great sales
Alot of times you will need to go to the Sydney location as they have a small store and don't carry as much inventory
Man bible
When I arrived to the store today there were 2 individuals standing at the entrance waiting to go in and another man approaching the entrance going in across from me, a member of the Canadian Tire staff (who might have been the owner of the store as he was not wearing the Canadian Tire uniform) was at the entrance guiding the line and letting people in as space became available due to capacity limits for retail stores in Ontario. The staff member told the man across from me that the two individuals waiting by the entrance were waiting to enter Marks Work Warehouse so if you were going into Canadian tire you were good to go in. I was behind the staff member so I’m not sure if he knew I heard him give the go ahead to enter the store if you weren’t going into Mark’s Work Warehouse. The staff member yelled at me as I walked in the entrance and proceeded to tell me I was inconsiderate among other things in front of the two individuals waiting in the Mark’s line, after I apologized and let him know that I was entering Canadian Tire not Marks Work Warehouse he called me inconsiderate for what I had did for the second time. From there I turned around and left the store. I wish I had a chance to say I was sorry to the two individuals waiting in the Marks line before I had left because I do not mind waiting in a line during these pressing times with capacity limits in stores, I am completely understanding of that, but I ended up going to my vehicle and crying in the parking lot for 15 minutes before I could continue home. I left feeling completely belittled. Perhaps I could have clarified with the staff member that it was okay that I went in as well, but I’m super frustrated with the customer service, I believe the situation could have been handled in a better and more respectful way. If I could give -10 stars I would.
Large selection of product. Couldn’t find staff help anywhere.
Just there for parcel pickup . That was great.
Great job ???????????????????????????????????? parking
Everything was easy to find and the store was clean. I liked that there was someone at the door monitoring how many people were in the store.
I love this store and do come ofen..the store is clean n organized , very nice staff. I always find what im looking for ..for any occasion all around great store , people, very satisfied. Great job to everyone keep up the good work heres to the new year :)
Efficient curbside pick up. All covid protocols followed. A safe and as pleasant as it could be experience.
The automotive department wouldn’t honour a certificate for a free oil change that I received at a charity event. The certificate had NO expiry date. Super disappointing experience overall.
Lots of seasonal stuff on sale, since it is almost Christmas. Quick checkout . Friendly staff.
Awesome
Beginning to look like spring with this location featuring some garden supplies out front. Some good instore deals as well. Sometimes difficult to find an assistant on the floor for advice so be prepared to know exactly what you're looking for.
Awesome store ...knowledgable staff
Awesome variety and friendly staff
Merchandise blocking aisles Very disorganized
We go to Canadian Tire often. Mr. York is indispensable. He knows where everything in his department is. Don't ever get rid of that man ????????
Normal shopping experience EXCEPT no washroom made available. I been in town for 3 hours. Restaurants are closed. Where are our of towners supposed to go? Kingston and Brockville CTC stores had washrooms available. Gananoque has just been removed from CTC app.
Great place, always has pretty much everything you could need for outdoor activities, construction, gardening, or otger items youd assume a hardware store would have
Great service. Friendly folks
Returns are easy with or without your receipt. But without your receipt you only get credited for the price from the latest sale. Which is fine with me as pretty much everything I buy is usually on sale. Bigger ticket items, I always save my receipt. I also learned something new today, they have both John Deere Green and Yellow paint in spray cans in the automotive section. I didn't have to drive to Kingston to get it at the dealer. Awesome. Love CTC.
Great selection
Good wishing store
They had everything I needed and were super friendly and helpful today.
Luckily for them, they have a lot of stores with a lot of products. I've lived across Canada and am amazed that every single Canadian Tire employee has the natural ability to avoid their customers by any means necessary, and infinity more amazed that they can spend their days surrounded by products and manage to learn nothing about them. In a world where hospitality is the foundation of any business, I applaud Canadian Tire for their rebellious stance. *slow, slow clap*
Stuff members are very nice and police. I was late for delivery they are about to close then I showed up at 4:30pm I requested them to unload bcz i need to go pick up in US. they took only 50 minutes to unload. Great experience ????????
Many tools bundled for cheap
Great service and helpfull
Friendly staff
Good
Great and friendly hard working staff
Found what we needed.. bought it
While the store keeps a fairly okay inventory of what you would expect at any Canadian Tire store it is probably one of the least organized stores I've seen. - Aisles are consistently filled with full pallets of merchandise making it a rat trap to navigate, heaven forbid you need to push a cart around the store as it's more of a challenge than it's worth. - Counters are rarely if ever actually staffed. I can't tell you how many times I've had to hunt down employees at the parts desk or even the sports desk to help. In the past they had call buttons that would eventually get someone's attention but they were removed long ago. If you can wait the week or so for delivery I would recommend ordering online to door everytime. But if in a pinch they have affordable tools and parts.
Great little store with descent prices. Auto service always easy to deal with. Do their best to get you in and out asap.
Went in here tonight, hard to find help, and when I did, the help was useless. He didn't even listen correctly to what I wanted. Wanted to sell me the parts to everything, but to the actual product I knew I needed. Here's a tip, maybe you may keep your customers, if you are helping someone and you are not sure what they want try finding a person who knows about that department. The service is getting worse instead of better.☹️
Went in looking for nothing on Christmas Eve. Came out $147. later!
You really need to teach the people working the tills that when someone wants out of the store because of having a panic attack, dont tell them they have to wait. If your tills are to close that people can not leave the store during these times maybe there needs to be more space for people to leave. Not have some teller complaining about how long the week has been and its tuesday. I know in these times we have to or told to keep our distance but not allowing people to pass to get out is outright so stupid.
Would give them a 5 star review if they actually had inventory..... The staff are great and do their best to help a person out. Not always easy to find someone during certain times of the day but it happens. Please fix the leaking roof..... been 3 years in a row now you have pails and totes collecting water in the exact same places.
Very poor service. Won’t be back
Fries eh very good fries and service not bad
Good place
Owner Bradley Borland has a written policy of harassment and discrimination towards disabled customers. I personally witnessed a disabled man with a mask exemption be told by an employee that he must leave the store as per new policy from owner. She stated that she did not agree with policy and was was being forced against her will to enforce it or face termination. She stated that policy said no mask exemptions were allowed on private property and any customers were to be refused service and police to be called to enforce. No matter how many years one had been shopping there. This open discrimination cannot be allowed to exist in society and in this small town it will not stand. Discrimination is discrimination same as saying no blacks may enter.
Friendly and helpful staff
terrible checkout service, store aisle are so full of stuff you can hardly maneuver a cart
great
Super sweet People
Yes they had what I needed.
I don't understand why a store that big only has 2 people on the floor at 730 PM I couldn't find any help at all in the store
Was there with my buddy getting his Inspection done
Was looking for something specific, but didn't find it. For the most part - it is a great store and almost always has what you are looking for. And... They still have Christmas wrap!
They prices are 3 times highwr then anywhere else
Our car lost a tire on the highway, we were travelling from Nova Scotia with two small kids and were still 3 hours from our destination. Despite being fully booked they squeezed us in and a couple hours later we were back on the road with all 4 wheels firmly attached to the car. Excellent service from the auto department and after a 14 hour trip we were grateful to them for going above and beyond and getting us back on the road so we didn't have to stay in a hotel for the night.
a "go-to" place
Good place to shop auto motive
Old woman on cash was rude and she didn't know how to do a return
Nice CT. Small. Has all the products I look for at CT.
The place is a mess. Some areas you can not even shop because you can't get in to the items. Leaving the store is hard as well because you have to pass people that are waiting to pay. Other wise you wait in line just to leave because you did not find anything.
The Guy forgot his name was very helpful and friendly way to go Brother ( the guy with Long Hair
Nice store and easy to get around in. Staff (Parker) was very helpful.
Well organized. Always fully stocked
Lots of deals every day ..great staff ...quality products...A+++
Never any staff in department's to help. Hard to find help if needed!!!
Parts desk was empty! No one was there at all. An elderly gentleman had to pound on the table after waiting 30 mins just to get noticed!Wont be going there for parts or auto service again! Plus there exit at the parts desk is stupid. Wont let people exit. A machine just beeps at them and with no one to help at the desk people are force to walk across the store to another exit... priorities guys....
Good friendly staff
Staff are very helpful.
Prompt, courteous service!
Terrible prices, shoddy products and staff who are stretched far too thin.
One of the smaller Canadian tire stores. Well stocked however with a surprising amount of products and items. Good sized parking lot and friendly, helpful staff. The washroom however is atrocious. It's small, but it was filthy.
Best tools
Great store. Usually quite lucky getting what I want in stock. I also use their app to do online shopping from home with in-store pickup a few hours later.
One of the worst Canadian Tire stores when you need to return an item. Truly outstanding underperformance from a customer service point of view.
Be careful. Everything over priced and will soon be on sale at 50% off.
Found what I was looking for quickly. Items are almost always in stock. COVID protocols are very good, yet allow for access to the whole store. Good job.
Do not purchase Dyson Products at canadian tire . you cannot return faulty products, REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE
Like
Do you need something? they might have it.
Excellent customer service!!
Went and got tired today....all the service staff there are amazing!
We had a very negative experience, whereby repairs to the tune of $1,600 were allegedly made. When my child almost had a serious accident due to the brakes seizing, further investigation revealed that the parts which were supposedly replaced appeared to be used, rusted and weak. Very dangerous and of great concern.
About half an hour ago I walked over to Canadian Tire from the Tim Hortons parking lot as the battery on my wife's motor bike needed a charge. It was 4:50 and even though the auto centre closed at 5:00 the person behind the counter grabbed a charger and walked over to Tims. Well done! Thank-you very much for your help.
I was surprised to find that their stock of basic electrical supplies was wanting.
It's ok
Love Canadian Tire for many reasons but mainly for being Canadian and having excellent deals with items going on sale from 50-75% off...craziness. The Glace Bay store is quite small and seems overly packed for the size so it can be a pain to find many items but it is still laid out well and aisles are marked properly. If all else fails, the workers there are a great help and can find what you are looking for.
Poor service.. never have what I'm looking for! From now on shopping at Home Hardware! Far better service there!
It had all what we wanted and a really good deal on a garbage can too!
Didn't find what I was looking for.
Found everything I was looking for. Thanks for the excellent help/service. Gan. Store.
Recently purchased a snowblower from this store. A young man who works there arranged for assembly and delivery at a very price. Truly nice to see such good service it’s very rare these days.
Nice staff a bit crowded
Very friendly. I had to do a return and a purchase and the customer service rep was very friendly and prompt.
Always a pleasant place
Raymond Polz was very helpful in finding the items I was looking for. Good job Raymond ! They should have more like him. A very nice polite young man.
Great customer service
Friendly staff & great deals
Great place for most of your needs
Have all you want.
Not enough cash registers open left the store with nothing
Store is really nice
Great
Very helpful staff and they had what I needed!
Great spot
Good selection but very frustrating trying to maneuver a cart through the aisles with the excessive boxes, ladders & completely blocked off aisles. Obviously have a storage problem and use the store front for all the huge boxed stock.
Love canadian tire. Store is just too small to find everything you need for repairs. Stock runs out quickly or wasn't delivered for the sales.
Closed Google had wrong hours
A++
Jordan and his team are awesome! Whenever we need something for our business renovation projects they are happy to help and will get it done for us!
Worst auto repair service EVER!! The only reason I give them 1 star is because there is nothing lower!
Out of black paint tone... Out of riding lawn mower filters... Brought in old battery with the tag. Refused to return 20$ deposit for battery I bought last year... they found my purchase on their database but insisted a receipt was necessary as evidence of purchase. Staff were friendly and helpful. Automotive guys solid and knowledgeable. Manager unhelpful and unapologetic. After spending a lot of money over the years at this store, I would have been happy if management made any effort in troubleshooting with me; rationalizing their position; or were even a little apologetic. I will make every effort to take my business elsewhere in the future.
unreachable by phone, always skeleton crew, store should could use some help. sorry I love home town shopping but it gets frustrating after so long of waiting and put on hold so many times.
That's it
Love Glace Bay Canadian Tire!!!
Easy place to find what you are looking for and a very helpful staff.
Excellent store and service
Excellent service. Store extremely clean.
Nicest hardware store in Ft. Francis, On., Canada
Great store
Never has flyer items in stock
They had what was needed when no Kingston stores did. The new close time of 8pm was unexpected, but understandable in a small town like Gananoque. We made it there with time to spare even coming all the way from Amherstview. I'll gladly shop there again when I'm in town the area.
Probably the worst CT I have ever been to. Low stock, aisles are often cluttered and some staff at the till are not very friendly. Also the hours seem to be much less than other CT stores.
Exercise
Awesome place and awesome service
Called to get a price on a couple products. Was told it would take 20 minutes. Find this totally unacceptable.
1 cashier, constantly and long lines. Bad customer service
Very tiny store, cant pass people in the aisle. Couldn't find anyone at the parts counter and stayed there for 10 minutes until we went and found someone else to get what we needed
Disappointing...
Clean store with helpful friendly staff. Check if it's in stock in Glace Bay or you'll have to go to Sydney where they have a much bigger store with a bigger selection. Get hardware at Cameron's Castle by the bayplex. It's much cheaper there.
Good service
Daniel did a great job! He found the puncture on my tire and fixed it quickly! Also, he's very trustworthy, which is important when someone is in your personal car. Thanks!
Finally a new owner who has improved this store with a better supply of inventory. Good for customers, staff, and the owner.
HUGE selection of Christmas Lights and decor! A must visit place.
Every thing you want
Great product selection with nice staff!
The young lady who helped me was really nice. They allow dogs here and everyone was really nice to my dog too. They even offered her treats.
Not
Good prices.good service sometimes short staffed
Needed emergency supplies, can always count on Canadian Tire...this one did not disappoint.
Items in stock that you are looking for
Quick delievery of curbside order... Quick service at the auto department -replacing flat tire I brought it. ????????
Everything i needed!!
Always great sales
Curbside pick up was quick efficient and the young man who brought out my bags of dirt placed them in my car closed the trunck without slamming it ????
This store is jammed packed with everything you need. The staff are Bert helpful????
Slow cashiers
Great survice
Really nice Canadian Tire store. The staff are very nice everytime I've been there, and they have a decent amount of stock and variety for a smaller location. Parking lot is not good though.
Great store with great staff!
Always the same, you can get what you need there
They need more workers. Long lines at the one checkout.
Never take your vehicle here for service!
I loaded up my cart outside with plants only to learn that the store was closed! This was not evident! I was not alone. NOT HAPPY!
Smaller store but well stocked and staffed. Gas bar on premises. Property well kept!
Great customer service
Busy this Christmas Season.
Like every other canadian tire...but with slower service. Seriously dont expect a quick in and out.
Very clean. I know I mention it a lot in my posts but I like to walk into somewhere that you feel comfortable touching things and not going to slip or need to pick trash up. Canadian Tire is one of those stores!! Great staff as well.
Clean store, eazy to find and park, but service is everything. If someone waits on you and is help full consider youself lucky, just finding someone can be hard.
