Bought an used business laptop., worked great for 6 or 7 months then stopped. Went back and was told the motherboard was shot. The owner said he will reduce the price of another which will help but then the price for 2 laptops is higher with no savings

At first I had a hard time trying to see this guy but after my last trip--great to support local businesses, especially those you feel you can trust. But since then. I gave him my laptop. He had it for 6 weeks. On week five tells me finally fixed but the battery pack no longer worked. I get home. Get the computer back and the problem is exactly as when I dropped it off. It costs me 110.00. So, yeah I like to support local, always have but sometimes....well ya get the picture.

I took my 5 year old Dell laptop here and he put a new solid state hard drive in and upgraded the ram for a great price and great turn around time. I walked away with a new laptop as the rest of the computer was fine, just slow. To keep things the way they were he cloned the old drive to the new one and all my software worked just as well as before. Couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Cost U Less.

I had heard about Cost U Less from a very honest businessman and also through internet search, and am very happy and grateful to have found this business. I had been to Future Shop the night before and they told me just to buy a new laptop and not to listen to anyone who wants to repair it for me. My intuition said something other and I now know why. The problem with my laptop was a simple adapter which did cost me less! I also had a desktop which I thought was finished and I could not connect to the internet. Again, a simple solution was found with a wireless adapter! I didn't know that there was even such a thing for a desktop. The owner of Cost U Less provides customer service over and above, is very dependable , and he really knows his stuff! He is very quick to find the problem and the solution! On top of all that, Mr. Ahmed is a fine gentleman and cares equally about your satisfaction as he does making a living. He is keen to know that your satisfaction is his business. He came to my apartment twice in one day to complete the job and I am just not used to having this excellent service these days. It would have cost me at least twice as much to deal with anyone else. I would highly recommend Mr. Ahmed to my most respected family and friends without hesitation. Thank you Mr. Ahmed!

I LOVE this store! I work a few doors down on Duckworth St and every pay day I love dropping in for amazing deals! Just today I got the cuestest phone case for my Iphone 5C (which are hard to find here) and yesterday I was upstairs at Bisma's to buy a few presents. Went there for a laptop he said the price was 275 when i tried it the cursor lagged and froze going across the screen. It had 8gb ram he defended this by saying that its because he sells business hardware. Im pretty sure that a business would want something that will not freeze and studer during a simple playback of a youtube video. No offer of price adjustment but he did suggest i try installing my own operating system when i get it home(as if i would buy it). With the under powered and over priced systems they have there they really should change thier name to cost u more for less

I have been going to Cost U Less for my tech needs for a few years, and have never been let down. I have purchased two laptops (one new, one refurbished), a tablet, and countless odds and ends (flash drives, memory cards, and even an odd connector for an outdated camera system that couldn't be found anywhere else in the city) from here. I have also had any service or security needs taken care of at Cost U Less, with efficient service and totally reasonable pricing. I started going here initially because I was happy to have a computer spot downtown, where I live, but have had such good service here that I easily choose this shop over the big box stores. I have recommended this spot to many people I know, and thought it was about time for me to post a proper review.

visited the store with a PC automatic shutdown failure. The owner told me I have a bad SSD Drive after about 1.5 hours work and 70 dollars charge. I changed a new hard drive but the PC still has the shutdown failure. Gotta run to another PC store and finally addressed the real problem, my Graphic processing card was too hot to run big applications. The owner has the fair level of trouble shooting skill, but not an expert. You may waste you money and time there.

Customer service is excellent and quick. I took my Mac to him after a water incident and he opened it up to dry it out right away. Unfortunately, the logic board was fried but he was able to sell me another MacBook of better quality for cheaper than it would have cost to fix my waterlogged one. Shortly after, the battery said "replace soon. " The warranty didn't cover the battery but he swapped out the battery with the one from my old computer that I had left with him at no cost anyways. Extremely impressed with this shop.
