I posted honest, detailed review under my real name - Vladan Obratov. Go back to your files and you will find me. But wait......you did not issue proper receipt, no wander you cannot find me. Check those papers asking $50 for diagnostic, I must be there, my address and phone number. I tried to talk to you when I brought my computer to fix it after your scam but you did not want to. Now you can call me if you are real. This is my second review, the first one was under Vladan Obratov. JH Computers usually replies on bad reviews but not on mine. He has nothing to say. Instead, few very positive, but vague, 5 stars reviews are appearing after poor reviews, most likely fake. Even at the time of pandemic, when the store is probably closed. Be very cautious when dealing with JH Computers or better don’t deal at all.

Its probably a new owner, since I remember this place packed before, Right before coming I called to explained my issue and was told..."my friend, diagnostic is free!"...so I took the system and brought it in, telling this guy most likely the video card is fried and suggested that he swaps it first thing and checks. So, after, man gave me a few complicated looks, cause he did not find windows product key sticker on my case, and eventually told me that he will need to reinstall windows, for which we bargained at $50. I came back in 15 min. meanwhile this guy just threw another GPU in and like i thought, that did it, pixel lines were gone. Except it was the very same Windows 10 asking me for my password..and he tells me in my face its new copy not knowing that last thing I did on it is a reset/reinstall system. He charged me for something he did not perform and instead tried to sell me some garbage refurbished card for $200.

Brought in my PC for a simple power supply swap as my old one was fried. The guy takes in the computer and says the power supply swap will take an hour. I come back an hour later and he says that the computer is old and that he recommends I buy a new computer instead and tries to offer me computers that I don't want. He then goes to tell me that the computer I have is old and that I can't find the power supply unless he orders it which will take 3-4 weeks. The computer is a 2015 model, you can't tell me you can't find a power supply for a newly made product. Don't go here, they will waste your time.

Friendly knowledgeable staff I went in to get help with my android box and they spent about 1/2 an hour getting it up and running properly . And didn't even charge me . Also if your on the market for unlimited channels for your box they set you up for only $15.00 a month . Now finally my box is working the way it should . Thanks Ken for the great service

Ken is an AWESOME guy. When I come with my laptop for repairs he does it in minutes. Also he is awesome for pricing he really knows how to take care of his customers and treats them with the respect that they deserve. He knows how to fix consoles as well. Ken is the number one guy i have never had a problem with when it comes on fixing computers. Also some computers he sell aren't the greatest but he is still good for repairing and he sells games and consoles too, FOR A CHEAPER PRICE THEN RETAILERS

The owner of this shop is extremely rude and unprofessional. When he's selling you a product he acts very friendly, telling you, "No problem, you return it if you have any trouble". However, once you need to return a defective product watch out! You are dealing with a completely different side of him. He attempts to reset your movie box (in my case) and when he's unable, the excuses start flowing from his lips, "It's your internet. It's your fault. You don't know how to use the product." Once he was not able to resolve my issue and I asked for my money back, he told me, "Get out, I don't want to talk with you, you are crazy". I insisted, very politely, that he help me resolve my issue he accused ME of being rude. He just kept yelling for me to get out. When I told him that I would not leave until he gave me a product that was not defective, or my money back, he simply made his way to the back room of the shop and hid there. A very quiet, humble looking young man that works under him was left at the front. Do not deal with this man. He will scam you. I would rate him with ZERO stars but the system forces you to choose one star at least. HORRIBLE PERSON

This is not a year ago, Oct 7/17. I would not go back to this place. They have lost my business under this new manager/owner. Manager is not up front with what he is selling. I had our computer updated after a hard drive replacement with new Windows which when brought home had a frozen keyboard which wasn't before. Although I paid for a licensed Windows to be installed, an unlicensed copy was probably installed which didn't contain any ant-virus software that the original had, not wonder I was asked to purchase additional anti-virus software at an extra premium. Not only that, was redirected to buy another laptop or their new internet television programme that I didn't want when I only wanted a simple repair. After paying $150, I was given the run around. Now I have a non-working laptop. Many thanks for ripping me off. I wouldn't go back, new guy is shady salesman and not interested in providing unknowning customer honest advice.

Very dishonest person. I brought my computer for repair in September. He did not issue proper receipt, only credit card slip. This was my fault, I did not insist on that. Less than 2 months after repair the computer was dead again. I brought back the computer to the store, he pressed the power button, the computer did not turn on and that was it for him. He did not want to open computer unless I pay again?! He asked me to remind him what has been done on computer?! Of course, he did not issue receipt, I have to remind him. After challenge him, he suddenly remembered what has been done. He did not change power unit, he changed jack only, this is another issue not the one he worked on, now I have to change logical board, low voltage, high voltage and other nonsense. I realized, I am going nowhere with this liar and left. I took the computer to another store, of course it was issue that JH Computers worked on and of course the price was 50% less than JH Computers charged me. 3 months on, the computer is working with no issues. ---------- I received the e-mail from Google yesterday, letting me know that this review helped people over 100 times. I got scammed for lot of money by JH Computers, but it gives me pleasure and warm feeling that lot of people might stay away of this place. My review was honest and detailed. Be extremely careful when reading vague and short 5 stars reviews. “Best service in GTA” and other nonsense. Think twice before accepting these reviews. JH Computers’ response to my review will tell you a lot, how you will be treated as customer.

This man is very dishonest and he does it so smoothly and effortlessly. He says one thing and turns around and lie right in your face. Save yourself and find another location. If your options are limited, PLEASE TURN YOUR PHONE RECORDER ON. GET EVERYTHING HE SAYS IN WRITING. Trust me, it will come in handy when its your word against his. This Guy dont know how to repair computers. I am saying about the Mideastern looking guy. Few months back i gave one of my old LAP top to change the bottom case and he latterly burned down the mother board. That time i thought since it is a old laptop may be some thing wrong my laptop. 1 month back i gave my best computer Dell Precession 7510 to change the hinge. He told me will clean the fan and charged huge money. When i took the computer it stated shutting down every 5 or 10 minits. I went back to ask that, he started arguing and quailing with me. If some body sees they will think i am cheating him. He started blaming some thing wrong with my windows. just 1 hour before i gave him the computer to fix it was working just fine and right after he fixed it is shutting down. He said he put thermal past for free. When i asked him to check that, he even got very much angry. I have to go to a different shop and fix it for more money for the mess he created. I think he need to go back to school to learn how to fix the computers and learn how to talk to people.

I bought a PS3 off eBay because it had the "Yellow Light of Death" issue and figured I could fix it here. I dropped it off in the store and the next day it was all fixed and worked like a champ! They even fixed the blu-ray drive for me which was misaligned. Over the year I also bought six laptop batteries, monitors, and voice recorders and had no issues with their equipment except one time I bought a dead laptop battery. He simply refunded my money hassle free and was very apologetic I even lost the receipt. The quality of the work is great, the staff is super friendly, atmosphere is great and their price and services are even better than Pacific Mall! Ken (the owner) treats all his clients with a personal touch and knows me by name every-time I walk in.

STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER. Went there as I had an issue with Office 2016. I wanted to purchase new keys for my PC all he had was OFFICE 2016 for Mac. The new guy says "No problem my friend it will work if it doesn't you don't pay." After installing the Mac keys from a legit sealed box guess what it doesn't work. This dude obviously doesn't know his stuff. He wasted my time , wanted my password and offered to install Office 2010?? I ended up having to disconnect the computer myself and literally take away my computer from the guy. He then swore at me as I left . I took him at face value and he didn't get paid for his own incompetence. Aggravation I can live without.

Absolute Scam and thief. Owner told me my laptop had a motherboard problem he fixed for $50. After, the laptop still wouldn't turn and he told me it was another $50 to make the bios work. Once I got home I found out he had stolen my 8 gb ram and put in 4! Never trust this store.
