This review is long overdue. I had Nigel perform some upgrades to an old MacBook Pro I had. All repairs were completed in a timely manner for a very fair price plus he went the extra distance and downloaded a management tool for an issue the laptop had. I highly recommend Etobicoke PC Repair and he'd by my first and only call to do any work on my gear in the future. Great guy!

I spent 3 frustrating days going through Reddit, Windows 10 help pages and Youtube " how to fix" videos -nothing seemed to get my PC out of the Windows 10 repair loop. I called Nigel and he had my CPU back to me within a couple of hours. Great service, great price! Don't waste your time -just bring it to Etobicoke PC repair - you wont be disappointed.

I had a great experience with Nigel. He was very patient with helping me and my laptop. He updated me on the problem and took many methods to find the solution. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of with the pricing, it was very reasonable. I have been able to text him with questions regarding my laptop after I have received my laptop back, which is great follow through on customer service! I'd 100% recommend him to fix any issues with laptops. First impressions were a bit off because he does his work at home (I'm assuming, since it's a residential location) and it didn't feel like a completely professional hand-off since there was no office/store. However, he provided me with his business card and texted me with the process of fixing my laptop which made me feel more assured. I knew that my laptop was in good hands and would trust him to fix any of my PCs again in the future.

And a great job it was...he changed the hard drive on my 10 year old macbook and I am no longer staring a spinning wheel for 10 minutes every time I click on something LOL. I was considering paying $2000 for a new macbook, but i paid Nigel less than $300 to make my old one feel like a Ferrari. After my Macbook Pro crashed unexpectedly, I immediately took it to Nigel @ EPCR for assessment. He told me what the problem was, in easy to understand language, and gave me my options which were replace the logic board or get a new computer. Due to the age of my Mac, I opted to get a new computer. EPCR spent time reviewing my options with me in a side by side comparison and answered all of my questions about specs, hardware and software as we went along. In addition, he helped me pick out an external hard drive, then backed up my old laptop for transfer onto my new one. Nigel is honest, fairly priced and will spend the time explaining the problem to you, if you are technically illiterate like I am. He is well versed in both Windows and Mac platforms and knows what specs are most important for your new machine because he understands your personal or professional computing needs.

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. I had two issues: 1. Inability to start my laptop (error message, missing one or more files) 2. Mouse pad inoperative I delivered my laptop, left it with Nigel. Less than one hour later he called me with the laptop repaired. He ran some software and replaced the missing file. He then found a disconnected cable to the mouse pad and reconnected it. What's remarkable was how little he charged AND that he did this at 8 p.m. at night. Perfect. I am a busy person. Those who can support me any time of day or night are those who I will work with always.

I'm a longtime Mac user and suddenly had a Pro that ran out of juice and went dark. Sought out Nigel on a Sunday and he responded same day. Nigel agreed to take it first thing and had it back to me by mid afternoon. He quickly determined the problem which also fixed a long term issue with my track pad. Overall AAA+! Highly recommended. Nigel provided me with options to address my issue and was honest in giving his opinion on the situation. My computer was totally a mess with spyware, and viruses, thanks in time over the months when relatives come over for dinner, and my teenage or adult relatives want to use your computer. It finally died! I googled Etobicoke PC Repair. Best Buy wanted way too much to fix, and STAPLES. I contacted Nigel, and we concluded it was best to rebuild a new computer. I got a cost estimate for the upgrade, and it was 50% less than Best Buy's estimates. My new gaming computer was ready in 24 hours. He also saved all my files from the old computer, and transfer it over to my new one virus free. Nigel is professional and courteous, and I consider one of the top guns in this field.
