I have experienced a very unusual and sudden disfunction with my MacBook Air. Was at 4 different locations in town and they all said that after many years of repairing computers they didn't see such trouble yet. I had to replace my tablet after my previous tablet's battery blew up. I had the new one for about 2 months, when I fell asleep in an armchair and dropped it, making all the buttons disappear inside the case and making it useless. I was really pleased that the technician took my old one to dispose of safely, and fixed the new one quickly. I can't tell anything ever happened to it. The cost was reasonable and it has saved me from having to buy a third tablet in as many months. Very relieved and pleased.

Contacted them to source a part for repairing my phone, and after some discussion we concluded that the repair was pretty labour intensive and likely to be unsuccessful. I thought it was pretty noble of them to talk me out of a no-risk sale; they could have easily just sold me the part and wished me luck. It's like finding an honest mechanic. Would recommend.

I have never been happier spending money on my computer other than it's initial purchase. I have a macbook pro 2011. Brought it in for diagnoses and they got back to me in an hour. It was fixed by the following day at noon for 160! (harddrive issue.). To top it off the front desk staff is delightful and kind. Go see them!

Such a pleasant staff.. I highly recommend these guys for any Phone repairs or Macbook repairs.. My friend and I brought in 2 iphones and a Macbook 2012 for Screen fix.. In about 2-3 hrs, we had everything fixed !! They are super reasonable and very quick. Kuddos to the staff!!

Don't deal with them at all. Called to get an estimate on getting a battery replaced for my Samsung. They said they needed me to bring it in to see. No, a competent business can tell you how much the battery costs and how long just from the Model Number alone. Contacted another place and they gave me a cost for the battery and estimate for installation. These guys want you in the store to do some serious hard selling.

Come here instead of going through Apple to get repairs!!! My phone stopped taking a charge and wouldn't turn on, I figured it was a battery issue. I went to London Drugs (first had to make an appointment through Apple) and London Drugs charged a $50 service fee, made me fill out a bunch of paper work and needed my apple ID and password..ran a diagnostic and spoke with an Apple rep who said it definitely wasn't the battery, was a logic board issue and that I needed a new phone! I decided to check out a third party and heard good reviews about Blackapple. I went with no appointment needed and within minutes the technician changed my battery and my phone worked again!! Didn't need my apple id/password, no paper work, no extra fees..the service was awesome and I just had to pay for the battery. So glad I went to Blackapple!! Thank you!!

I contacted my service provider and was told it would be cheaper to get a new phone entirely than send my current one in for repair. Black apple on quadra was able to see me the same day and fix my phone while I waited. It cost me $20 and they also gave me some useful information on prolonging the phone’s life as mine is several years old. I’m very impressed and grateful for their efficient service.

When my four year old iPhone 5S started acting up after downloading the new iOS 11 I was about to head out to TELUS to get a new upgraded phone. On a whim, I phoned Blackapple to get the cost of a new battery and was told it was $60. Within an hour, I had a new battery and my ancient iPhone was acting like a kid again. An upgraded phone would have cost at least $30/month and so I’ll get my money back within two months and hopefully, the phone will last another few years. Great advice, value and service. I took my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge here as I wasn't getting any signal or 4G and my network couldn't help as it wasn't sim card related. I work nearby so I left the phone with them when they opened and came back at 3pm. The technician had fixed the problem and showed me the phone that he had taken apart to get a spare wire from and explained what he had done. Not only that but the technician, Ali, charged me a great price and provided a very friendly and professional service. Many thanks! No need spend out on a new phone - phew.

My older model (5S) feels like a new phone just with a battery replacement and new screen protector. Will definitely go back in the future if I need to. After being pushed away by 3 other cell phone repair shops in Victoria my boyfriend brought his iPhone to Ali at black apple cellular on Quadra Street. Ali was helpful, friendly and efficient as he replaced the charging port in just over 2 hours. Afterwards we stayed there for about 15 minutes just chatting with him and he even threw in a free screen protector for my iPhone! What a treat. Initially was very happy with the decision, repair itself was done really well. Took it out my pocket after standing for two hours (that's my job, nothing strenuous) and the new piece was wrecked. Took it back in and basically got told the warranty wouldn't cover it and they would contact me in regards to a cheaper alternative (dropped 200 bucks), no such correspondence and knew I was being given the run around when I got told the new Iphone was 1600 dollars so the 200 was worth it.

I actually went in for a data retrieval for my iPhone 7 which Apple told me was unfixable when the screen went black after I dropped my phone. However, Ali decided to look into the phone and actually managed to fix it! In the end all it needed was a new screen, whereas Apple told me I would have to buy a new phone! They replaced my 3 year old battery twice, after each replacement, my battery life was worse than the last. The girl at the counter was incredibly rude and condescending, spoke over me, and refused to refund my money. She told me after the work had been finished about some "diagnostic fee", which is NOT detailed anywhere on the work order I signed. I watched the tech replace my battery each time, and no diagnostic was ever performed. They told me my phone was faulty but showed me no proof or explanation. These people are not qualified, have no technical training and are not certified by any phone manufacturers to perform repairs.

I was helped by a very bright young woman named Nishi, she was so great. I went in with what I though was a charging port issue- and was expecting to have to pick my phone back up at a later date and pay at least $60. Luckily, Nishi was there and she instantly diagnosed that the port was just full of lint. She cleaned it all out, and sent me on my way with a fully working phone, free of charge! So grateful for her excellent help, quick thinking, and friendly service.
