He agreed that my PC could possibly have a problem (after seeing my photo), but that it had nothing to do with the work he had done. At my request, He agreed to take the computer back for inspection. I had no news for several days. I had to call back a week later, to be told that the PC was ready, in order, and that no problem had been found. So I took my PC home, reconnected it, and found again that it was planting me in the face after a few minutes. I decided to go for a ride at Dantech in Montreal (rue St-Denis) to have another opinion. The technician opened my tower, peeked for 30 seconds, and then eradicated the memory module from its base. "Did you install that?" he asks me. I replied that a technician had recently done this. He explains to me that this memory is not compatible with my system, and recommends me to put it in my pocket, to go home and test my PC in this state. Problem fixed ! I've never had a single crash since this memory module was removed ... which makes sense, since my problems started precisely the same day it was installed. I was very happy that my computer became functional again! I was doubly happy thinking that I should be able to get a refund for the $ 60 that PC Concept had charged me to install this incompatible memory. Fault ! I went back with my memory stick, my bill and my story. The technician refused to pay me back, claiming it was not the memory stick that he had installed! Perplexed, I look at my bill: "4GB DDR3 1333MHZ INFIN" ... actually, I do not see the word "INFIN" on the bar. He shows me another memory stick, different from mine, and says "This is the kind that I install, me" ... I look at it more closely: "There is no more the word INFIN on that barrette! " that I answer him. I ask him if he can show me one of the same brand as the one on my bill. "I do not have any in stock" that he answers me. I ask him: "Maybe you had more in stock when you sold me that one?" He becomes aggressive again and tells me to stop wasting his time. That's when I took my bar, my bill, and that I left the place. Le jour même ou j'ai repris possession de mon ordi, il s'est mis à crasher de manière systématique, quelques minutes à quelques heures après chaque démarrage (voir photo). Je suis retourné avec mon ordi chez PC Concept pour expliquer le problème. J'explique au technicien que mon ordi avait toujours bien fonctionné avant que je lui apporte, et lui demande si le problème pouvait avoir un rapport avec les travaux récemment effectués. Il est devenu aggressif: "Ton ostie de pc bootait même pas quand tu l'as rentré icitte! Viens pas me dire qu'y marchait bien!" Il a convenu que mon PC pouvait possiblement avoir un problème (après avoir vu ma photo), mais que ça avait aucun rapport avec les travaux qu'il avait effectués. À ma demande, Il a consenti à reprendre l'ordi pour en refaire l'inspection. J'ai pas eu de nouvelles pendant plusieurs jours. J'ai dû moi-même rappeler une semaine plus tard, pour me faire dire que le PC était prêt, en ordre, et qu'aucun problème n'avait été trouvé. J'ai donc ramené mon PC à la maison, l'ai rebranché, et constaté à nouveau que ça me plantait dans face après quelques minutes. J'ai décidé d'aller faire un tour chez Dantech à Montréal (rue St-Denis) pour avoir un autre avis. Le technicien a ouvert ma tour, a jeté un coup d'oeil pendant 30 secondes, puis a extirpé lui-même la barrette de mémoire de son socle. "C'est toi qui a installé ça ?" qu'il me demande. Je lui répond qu'un technicien venait récemment de faire ça. Il m'explique alors que cette mémoire n'est pas compatible avec mon système, et me recommande de la mettre dans ma poche, de retourner à la maison puis tester mon PC dans cet état. Problème réglé ! Je n'ai plus jamais eu le moindre crash depuis que cette barrette de mémoire a été enlevée... Ce qui fait du sens, puisque mes problèmes avaient précisément commencés le jour-même ou elle avait été installée. J'étais très heureux que mon ordi soit redevenu fonctionnel ! J'étais doublement heureux en pensant que je devrais en plus pouvoir me faire rembourser les 60$ que PC Concept m'avait chargé pour installer cette mémoire incompatible. Erreur ! Je suis retourné avec ma barrette de mémoire, ma facture et mon histoire. Le technicien a refusé de me rembourser, en prétendant que c'était pas la barrette de mémoire que LUI m'avait installée ! Perplexe, je regarde ma facture: "4GB DDR3 1333MHZ INFIN"... effectivement, je vois pas le mot "INFIN" sur la barrette. Il me montre une autre barrette de mémoire, différente de la mienne, et me dit "C'est cette sorte là que j'installe, moi"... je la regarde de plus près : "Y'a pas plus le mot INFIN sur cette barrette-là !" que je lui répond. Je lui demande s'il peut m'en montrer une de la même marque que celle qui est inscrite sur ma facture. "J'en n'ai plus en stock" qu'il me répond. Je lui demande: "t'en avais peut-être plus en stock quand tu m'as vendue celle-là ?" Il devient encore une fois aggressif et me dit d'arrêter de lui faire perdre son temps. C'est à ce moment-là que j'ai pris ma barrette, ma facture, et que j'ai quitté les lieux. Pas envie de me battre à coup de poing ni de le traîner en Cour pour 60$. Inutile de rajouter que c'est un commerce que je ne saurais recommander, et que je n'ai évidemment plus jamais l'intention de fréquenter. La fan qu'ils m'ont installée et la prise d'alimentation fonctionnent toujours. C'est la raison pour laquelle je leur accorde 1 étoile plutôt que zéro.

Very bad service, very bad experience. The employees are liars, thieves with very bad knowledge of what they are selling. They sold me a computer that is infected with viruses, slower than my last computer and with 170GB less hard drive space than agreed. When I came back for explanation, they told me that the computer was sold as is. He even confessed that the computer was just laying in the store and that he didn't want to waste time at 45$ an hour to check it out before selling it. And honestly it would take about 2 minutes to plug it in and see the specs of the computer. He even want to charge me for a diagnostic that he should have done before. No refunds, No fixing and their warranty are worth nothing.
