Bruno is absolutely amazing and so very patient! He explains what is wrong with your phone or device thoroughly and proceeds to offer you multiple budget saving options. Although I am a klutz and sadly have to come in to the shop every few months or so with a broken phone, it's always a pleasure to come in and have a quick and reasonably priced repair. There were a few hiccups sourcing an iPad battery, but Mobile Surgeons did the repair, added a screen protector and sold me an Otterbox phone case for a great price. I'd come back with no hesitation. In contrast, the Rideau Centre Apple store told me they don't repair their own product and I should toss it and buy a new one. Apple needs to stop being unsustainable and tone deaf and guarantee clients the right to repair.

He gave me a very fair timeline on for when my phone should be ready. But, that wasn't the final step to this journey, Bruno even offered me one of his few loaner phones for the duration. IF YOU WANT TO BE FINESSED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, PLZ VISIT THIS SHOP!!!!! I recently went in to get my phone repaired. A screen replacement was all that I needed. First strike was him taking over an hour to replace my screen. The screen is finally fixed and I am happy, but this Bruno character gives me my phone back at 1% when he says he's gonna "charge it up" for about another 20 mins of my time waiting around, but the phone comes back at 3% which struck me as super odd as my battery is 3,000 mAh and fast charge capable 20 mins should have done the trick and given at least 20% or so battery. The touchscreen works and I try and verify calling and the speakers to see if there is anything else wrong with it, but of course it dies as I am doing so and I have to go run some other errands, so I leave the testing to later, since I gotta run some errands, trusting that Bruno hasn't royally f**ed me! Upon testing my phone at home that afternoon I realize the volume controls and the speaker are not working at all. Curious, I open my phone myself to verify what went on inside, to my surprise the speaker in my cellphone is absolutely GONE, which then means the volume rocker is no longer working either. Picture this, I had a broken screen on my phone, one that I used for a year and a half with no issue, have watched dozens of movies on, listened to music on, answered calls, and used my speaker for and etc... And the day I go to get my screen fixed, all of a sudden parts of my phone go missing. When I never once tinkered with my phone or removed stuff, but I am sure that Bruno will come on here and comment that this or something else happened, and with complete disregard for common sense, which is exactly what he did when I confronted him about it. "oh no bro I have no reason to open your phone and remove parts, or mess up your phone." I say fine, this guy claims his work desk got cleaned, trash was thrown out and etc.. and he cannot find any parts, but will be more than happy to order me more off brand parts that are weak and will give out and ultimately render my phone useless. So I got sick of all of this b.s and runaround, I asked for a receipt, simple, right? But no, to try and be deceitful again seems easier for this individual, as he gives me a completely different receipt for someone else's Tablet repair a month after mine, and not my cellular device. ( I have pictures of both the wrong receipt he printed out in front of me, wrote down a description for, and handed over to me with a smile). Once this happens I ask for a formal invoice to be sent to my email address so that there is no way it gets confused. He finally sends it. At the end of the day I bought a new phone because the garbage screen he gave me cracked again by itself (started a hairline crack from no apparent damage or me dropping it, then the sensor just died on me, go figure!). This is my warning to you fellow consumers, GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK, BRUNO WILL DO AS HE PLEASES, AND THERE IS NO WAY TO WIN AN ARGUMENT BECAUSE HE DOES THIS SHODDY WORKMANSHIP BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, SO THAT ONCE THE DEED IS DONE THE WORK IS OFF HIS HANDS FROM THERE. *patiently waiting for Bruno to reply to this review with false responses trying to cover up this sh**show of a phone repair shop, on a side note I highly doubt that this guy pays taxes on his stuff, very hesitant to offer a receipt and also did not give the receipt on the first transaction we did as virtually any retailer or service would offer upon purchase or payment but that is just my opinion! AWFUL! TOTAL RIP OFF. F THIS PLACE. I brought in my HTC touch with a cracked screen and this guy Bruno says he can fix it, no problem. So I put a $50 down payment and asked to order an otterbox as well. About a month goes by and he says it's ready. I come in and check it out and it seemed alright until I walked away and noticed there was a dead spot on the screen. So I brought it back and had to order another screen. So a month goes by and I emailed him and he said 'oh there's delays because of Christmas'. I waited a few more week and email him again, he says, I've ordered another and it doesn't work as well. So I said well if my phone doesn't work then do you have a replacement phone, so he gives me this piece of crap alcatel phone that crashes every 2 minutes, then I asked for a replacement and he gave me an iphone with a broken camera and the screen and back was hot seriously enough to cook and egg. So I said ok I'm done with the waiting and trying out of phones, I need a refund please.So in the end I had to pay for the $45 Otterbox that I will never use and a huge waste of time. It took 4 months total of having ask when my phone was ready and nothing but excuses and very shady, sort of under the table type of business behavior. Such as asking me to pay cash. I highly recommend AVOIDING THIS PLACE. He said he would get the job done and didn't. He avoided responding to emails and acted as if everything was out of his hands when I asked about progress. It took 4 months total to ultimately get no service and an otterbox that I will never be able to use and he says I should just sell it. Who's going to buy such a specific otterbox, the HTC touch isn't even manufactured anymore. If you get a cracked screen, try fixing it yourself and order the part online. It's not rocket science and will save you a lot of money. These mobile repair guys are scam artists. Only a manufacturer can repair a damaged phone properly because they have all the tools to diagnose, repair and replace whatever is damaged; and can solder if necessary. Otherwise just buy the most hardcore protective case you can find. Avoid it in the first place!

I have problem with the USB connector on my HTC One for about a month. Intermittent charge, problem connecting to my computer, no MHL output... I tried to clean the connector, resetting the phone, changing cable and charger... I had an iphone 7 i brought to apple they could not fix i brought to toronto guy to fix he could not or he said 200-220$ and its not 100% i said no, i brought to montreal same thing as montreal brought to 2 other phone shop in ottawa they could not fix it or just wanted to charge me for nothing and then i just got a reference from the last store the guy told me go see this guy , i went dropped my phone he said he already knew the problem since i already told him all tr details how my ohonr stopped working and what i trued to revive it. he told me i can do it in 30min i said ok the next day he was busy and still managed to do my phone called me before he closed the store to say he fixed my phonr but the other stores broke my brand new screen since i did not want to waste my money with them for not fixing it. oh well st the least he fixed the damn phone . Props to this guy i have been fixing my phone and all that for a long time and i can tell you that this guy is the best 19999% like i said if you bring your phone else where your making a big mistake trust me on this one. Plus guess what he chrged me only 130 f%^*ing dollars bro like damn man all these stores are scammers rippers!!! they all tried to charge me 200$+ pffff anyway Shout out to this guy and god bless him!????????

My second review: One more time, I m impressed by the service of Bruno. My wife was planning to go other chipper place (broken screen) and I convinced her to go to this place, as I dont trust others chipper service provider specially when they dont have a fixed location (store), in other words, they disappear so fast and you cant do anything later. Anyway, Bruno fixed the broken screen in a couple of minutes (while eating a delicious BBQ chicken just beside) with a screen protector as Gift ! so at the end, his service cost chipper ! I really recommend this place. My first review: I have a water damaged Macbook Air 2013, Apple asked for 950$ to repair it which was insane as I bought it for 1150$. I almost throw it into tush, but I gave it to this smart boy and he fix it for a small amount 150$ ! More than that, I came back month later for very small battery issue, and he fix it for free.

FRAUD SCAM!!! I took my phone in to get it fixed from water damage and left it there in a panic, after getting home saw a few places offering better prices so I called the guy who works there and asked him to hold off because I wanted to go somewhere else. He told me he had NOT worked on the phone (LIES). So I give it to two different technicians who both tell me the logic board in my phone looks like it doesn't belong to this phone, if it had never been repaired and only through a wash cycle it should not have chips missing, nails missing, and basically look like a tester board. He had definitely worked on or tampered with it when he told me he didn't. So I take it back to mobile surgeons in hopes of getting my real logic board back. After "trying" for two days he said he couldn't fix it, and I went to pick it up. The board in my phone is completely ruined there are chips missing and it has been poorly soddered all over there is no way anyone would be able to fix what he did to this board. I believe he stole my motherboard and sold it for parts. I have taken photos, and documented this incident from the beginning. I will be filing a police report against him as well. I also went to the Apple store and they told me the board he gave me has been tampered with, and I have this in writing. He also says you cant unlock a phone that has an icloud account, but there are ways to bypass this online. The Facebook page he has for his business looks legitimate but keep in mind you can delete bad reviews on there. This man is a huge scam, please be careful. I'm posting this so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I've obviously learned my lesson the hard way.

yup cracked my iphone screen ,, was picking up chinese food right next door..went in to mobile surgeons asked if he could fix he said if I cant noone can ,, true to his word dropped off next day and was in mint condition with my screen protector put back on ..that was impressive I knew right then.. this is someone who actually cares about his customers ,, very fair price ,, asked him he could fix one of my laptops he said he would take a look at it ,, came by the next day and once again amazed me i honestly thought this was not repairable and this surgeon as he calls his store name did an excellent repair ,, its like brand new ,,so basically what im saying having been to many cell phone repairs shops over the years noone comes close to this company , to me a compnay that goes above and beyond for their customers with integrity is a big one fo me so if your looking for 5***** service look no further his reviews say it all ,,

I had three phone guys bow out of fixing my Pixel 2's charging port. They would say "no way" before even touching it, because it was too hard.
