Very impressed with the service received here for a cracked screen. Came in on one day to inquire and get a quote. Staff was very friendly and educated. Even though i wanted to take my time with a decision they were supportive and ensured my needs were met. Went back 2 days later to get the work done, it was done on the spot and very professional. My only minor complaint is their policy on credit (they pass on the 4% merchant fee)

My Nexus 5X developed the bootloop issue, as they are prone to do. I brought it to A2Z, as they'd previously repaired a damaged charge port for me and I liked their service. They provided me with a loaner phone while my phone was with them for repair. Unfortunately, the phone proved to be unsalvageable as the motherboard was damaged. They very clearly (and humourously) explained the issue in detail and provided me with a full refund, as they were not able to fix the phone.10/10 would definitely buy a phone from these guys, as they were full of great advice.

Poor service. Waited almost 2 months for parts. Kept getting the run around everytime I called. From they had to order parts from China to having to go to Toronto because the place in China sent the wrong part. On top of that the front screen cracked after a month and the back cracked after a couple weeks and told there is no warranty. Was told they only get top of line products which clearly is a lie. $270 later and my phone is worse then what it was. Do not recommend. Will never go back.

I had a hardware issue with my LG G3 where the touch screen became unresponsive. Based on the reviews, I decided to try A2Z cellular repair to diagnose the issue. Jayson was professional, helpful and kind in looking into my phone, and he spent about 3 hours diagnosing the issue and exploring and attempting ways to fix it. While in the end, the phone wasn't repaired, he honoured the 90 day warranty policy and refunded me the money. All in all, I would highly recommend his shop for cell phone repairs. It is all about the honesty system and professionalism.

I went in when my iphone had cracked and the screen had gone purple, and had just gotten it replaced at another store 3 weeks ago. These guys let me know that the other place had messed my phone up, parts were missing and they had replaced the screen with a cheap Chinese one. They fixed up my screen with a brand new, even better screen all in 20 minutes when the other place took hours to get back to me. Great guys and if you have any problems with your phone, you should go to them even if to just get them to check it out. My iphone works just like new!

I have had my phone fixed now for over 8 months. The screen is perfect. I noticed some issues with my keyboard and came to see the guys at A2Z; in 20 minutes I was told this was a warranty issue and they replaced my screen free of charge. I did not even know this was a warranty issue and I was ready to pay for a new screen. The owner and the staff here are extremely honest and I am really truly impressed. Amazing experience. Amazing business! The other week, I took my very disfuctional iPhone 5c to this store. Upon walking in, the owner greeted me with open arms. With these kinds of stores comes a lot scepticism. Terrible experience when they said they had the battery I needed and when I got there it was not the right battery and I discovered that when I got back. I also discovered that my screen which was new was broken when I got back and I left my phone unattended in their office for about 5 minutes when I went to go check on parking but I cannot prove that they broke it. I see that some other people in the reviews here also suspect that they broke their phone. They gave me a battery that was supposed to be original Samsung but it wasn't however the original one they sold me was but it was less amperage than the replacement. It looks like they are employing some not very healthy people and that could have something to do with it. As it stands now I would not go back there.

Excellent service! ... I recently had my cellphone fixed by this guys and I have so say, thank you!. My phone had a software problem for almost six months. During that time, I took it to several repair phone companies and they couldn't figure it out. Before giving it up, I decided to take it to A2Z for one last check. The guy that helped me was very friendly and honest about the possible solutions and the cost of it. I left it there and what a surprise, I received an email the same day saying my phone was fixed and ready for pick up. I regret not taking it there the first time, just because it wasn't located in the mall. To be honest, this guys were even cheaper than the other options. Thank you A2Z!

I've had some rough experiences with my phone. But the guys at A2Z cellular made my life so much easier. I emailed and within the hour Jason emailed me back (it was 11:30 at night!! Talk about great customer service). They have competitive prices, but it's the quality of the work that got me too. Dylan fixed my screen in a heart beet. When I left I noticed it wasn't quite glued on and my speaker wasn't working well so I took my phone back a couple days later and they said that my replacement screen had a peice of plastic where the adhesive is (where it shouldn't be) but they fixed it right away and even cleaned my speaker. Definitely go to A2Z if you want quality work, if you wanted to be treated like a totally respected customer and for a great deal. Best place in the city by far!! I will never go anywhere else ????????

Beyond disappointing. Service was poor and unprofessional, walked in on employees loudly complaining about other employees. I asked for a total price and was told a screen replacement would be $160 and returned to pick up my phone to pay $30 more than I was expecting. Handed phone back with more issues than I started with. An app icon was stuck on the home page when I swiped. A photo thumbnail from a recent vacation was corrupted. My concern about this was met with indifference and ineptitude. Ignored my request to not send a message from my phone to avoid charges, and sent one anyway. I had high hopes for this place with the reviews I had seen, but left disappointed. I hope the screen lasts so I don't have to return again. Update: Not only did I not get a refund, (I was emailed, set up an appointment for a refund, they rescheduled, I showed up for the second appointment and the manager was not there mysteriously lmfao) but my screen cracked within days of getting it, and it has since continued to crack and chip away. I completely recognize that this review is literally just a scream into the abyss, and will literally change nothing, as I do not want to deal with these people ever again, but I am beyond frustrated, as I spent a significant amount of time, money, and energy at this place for literally nothing.

Worst experience ever, avoid at all costs. They actually broke my phone and never fixed it or refunded me. My experience with them resulted in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which they never responded to. They had one month to address or respond to try to resolve the matter. Unprofessional, swearing at customers, not to mention there were ashtrays and energy drinks littering the shop which made the legitimacy of the whole operation seem questionable. Complaint Details: I contacted this business to do a same day screen repair. They asked a few questions and then explained they would have to require a deposit (20$) to order the part, and would do the screen repair for approximately 200$, that it would take about 45 minutes while I waited, and said based on the shipping time, it should be a couple of days to receive the part. The shipping took over a week and the owner was slow in responding, later explaining they had a family emergency. When I went in for the repair, I was told instead of 45 minutes that it would be closer to an hour and a half. This was already an inconvenience as I had to drive over an hour each way from my home to get to the shop. I waited and returned to the shop after the specified time and was told three times the repair would take 'another 10 minutes'. After over 2 hours of waiting, the owner then told me he made a mistake and had to redo the work. I heard him swearing and yelling in the background which was very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. After over 3 hours of total waiting, the owner made excuses about the job being difficult due to the phone model (which he had already inquired about before the appointment), and handed over the repaired phone. I noticed right away that two features were not working correctly (the thumb print feature and the touch screen for unlocking, as well as the microphone was not working so now the phone only worked on speaker phone). This was already a concern, which he dismissed. He said he had to order another part to fix his mistake but that the phone was working. I insisted on the fact that the phone was working and the the broken issues were not his fault (although never a problem before the repair!), yet agreed to order a thumbpad and include it in the repair. I did not want to pay in full given that the phone presented more problems than when I came in, that it took 4 times as long to do the repair, and that he had clearly made a mistake in the repair that he had to fix. He insisted that he 'could not let me leave without paying for the screen'. I paid for the screen, in addition to the deposit and he was to let me know when the part arrived to repair his mistake. Over a week went by with no news, when I followed up he was very slow to respond, dismissed my concerns and said it 'wouldn't be anytime soon'. Eventually he did order the part after weeks went by, but more problems arose with the phone (now the power button wasn't working, and then the screen stopped working and eventually began flashing uncontrollably). I called him panicking as this is not just my personal phone but also my work phone. In response to my being upset he became aggressive, said some disrespectful things (including swearing at me), and hung up the phone after telling me to 'take my ***** phone elsewhere'. I did consult another repair shop that assessed he had likely completely broken the motherboard, and of course the phone became completely unusable. I was forced to pay out the phone and pay for another replacement device, in addition to the costs of the screen that was now completely useless. I shared my previous broken screen experience with Jason and how the glass was so thick that I couldn’t type anything. My review about A2z is still unfolding; but it will be a pleasure to document as it goes so as to give a more definite review with a finality when it eventually does end. I wasn't referred to this place; I simply googled ‘phone repair in ottawa’ and it was one of many options. I read a few reviews here and there about it and made myself focus on the seemingly majorly positive feedbacks and so I took my phone in. The problem with my phone? shattered screen. It was supposed to be a ‘piece of cake’ going by their adverts and of course, reaction when I went in. They told me the price and I was okay with it, I didn't even negotiate. All I wanted was my phone in good condition. I was told to come back in 1 to 2 hours and so I spent precious time roaming. Fast forward to 2 hours time and I'm not only told they have done more damage but further told that it was as a result of the ‘substandard part I brought that what they damaged, got damaged’. Amazing!!! They go ahead to ‘loan’ me a phone at ‘$112.99’ out of the ‘kindness’ of their heart and of course, I pay (A security fee, they call it). I'm told they would place an express order for what they destroyed which should arrive by Monday morning or evening but to be sure, I should come in Tuesday. I'm quite the obedient little lamb and again, I say that's okay. Today, I wake up excited. I'm finally getting my phone back today; who wont be? I prepare and arrive at their store only to be told its not arrived yet. I'm stunned… I go ahead to ask when it would arrive and get told ‘maybe friday. It's shipping right? I cant control it’. Interesting, isn't it? And even when I ask ‘how come it's taking so long despite it being not just express delivery but he also said it's coming from Toronto.’, I still get told ‘it's shipping and can't be controlled’. Hmmmn. So now, I'm counting down till Friday. Will I be given my security money of $112.99 back in full without hassles? Will the ‘supposed’ express order ‘supposedly’ made last Friday (17th aug 2018) morning eventually finally arrive in exactly in one week(24th Aug 2018). Apparently, frm a number of past reviews which I have now diligently taken time to read, I'm not the first they are trying to make a fool of with the come back a million times strategy. Will I be the last? Most likely not. But we'll see. Ohh.. or maybe I'm being too impatient and drawing conclusions too soon? We'll also see. Friday, they said. So watch out for an update on friday….. ....update.... Yaaayyyy!!! I'm editing this review with my phone. I didn't even have to wait until Friday ????????; forgive my impatience. Kyle and Bilal; you guys are super-amazing. I didn't only walk out with my phone but also with your friendship. Thank you for going the extra mile for me; I completely appreciate it. Now I can confidently not only refer to you guys but also come back over and over again if anything goes wrong with any of my devices. I was happy with the service I received at A2Z Cellular. I had an iPhone 6 that needed a new screen and battery. At the Apple Store the new screen would have been $169 and the battery $35. A2Z Cellular was able to take a screen from a different iPhone 6 I owned and put it on the phone I was using and change the battery for $100. When I called in to ask about this, Dylan was very helpful and when I came in he was knowledgeable and kind. He made sure my other phone was truly "dead" before taking the screen off and switching devices. When I went in the actual store wasn't fancy - they had been broken into the night before and so there was some glass on the floor and plywood over the door (downtown Ottawa!) and it smelled like cigarette smoke, not sure if it always does or if the thieves smoked in the store? The owner was in and I found he was a bit more abrupt with customers than Dylan was with me but I think he would be OK if you needed to work with him. Anyways I had a positive experience with the store and Dylan - if he wasn't so helpful on the phone when I called in I don't know if I would have come, and then he was great in person too :-)

I used to go to this bussiness for all of my repair needs (Screen replacement, battery change, etc), and they were great with what they had done for my devices. So this time I went in for a screen replacement for my tablet. I was given a quote over the phone and I was offered loyalty discount on it, but the price was too “low” when I actually brought in the tablet for repair and they would not repair my tablet on the price they gave me. After we discussed, the bussiness owner decided to raise the repair price and mentioned how expansive “other places”would ask for the service. If you're considering going here, I'd say just get a new phone if you can! The replacement screen started having minor cracks within days of them installing it, and it has had major cracks since, despite my being extremely cautious with my phone. I got in touch with them about the early cracks but after looking at it they said there was nothing they could do (they claimed it wasn't a manufacturing defect). The original screen didn't crack once in 2 years until I dropped it, while this screen has cracked heavily within just 2 months of normal use. I've now opted to get a new phone, so the screen was a huge waste (>$250 for an S5 Neo screen/install). The employees were very friendly, but the product just didn't last. They're also highly strict on any replacements unless you can prove at an almost legal standard that it is caused by a manufacturing defect.

Great place; the positive reviews don't lie. I came in to have the headphone jack for my phone fixed. It took 10 minutes and cost $39.55(with GST). As opposed to Rogers(my service provider) where the same problem at the start of 2018 took 11 days and everything on my phone was wiped. I definitely recommend this as a professional alternative in case the stipulations with your service provider aren't good enough(such as long wait, higher price, no temp phones, losing everything saved on your phone etc).

I havent went there to take my screen back since am really busy but i will soon! plus i forgot to add that i am missing litteraly 50% of my srews in my iphone and also the two metals covers that go inside.!!! So if you want your phone messed up even more then you bring your phones to these guys.

Excellent repair shop. These guys care about repeat business and stand behind their work. Brought in my iPad mini with a damaged glass panel, got it repaired in a few days for less than other places quoted me. There was an issue the technician noticed himself at pick up, he corrected it. When I came back to pick it up, I noticed some minor issues, technician fixed it while I waited, it was obviously important to him that I be completely satisfied. A few weeks later the home button caved in ever so slightly, went back and the senior iPad technician himself fixed it in less than 30 minutes under their own warranty, plus made a few adjustments so it wouldn’t happen again. They even reset my warranty to another full 90 days. You can’t ask for more than this and it speaks volumes of their integrity. Never had to argue, they saw a reasonable problem that had to be addressed and went above and beyond to make this a positive experience. I know where I’m going for repairs on my Apple devices going forward!

I've been to A2Z three times to fix various issues with my iPhone and have found Jay and the rest of the staff incredibly helpful and generally great deal with. First I came in with a cracked screen, and it was fixed within 30 minutes for a very good price. They were really nice and even gave me some birthday cake that they had in the store that day. The next time I was there Jay helped me with a software issue on my phone screen and solved that. I've returned there again to get my battery replaced (on a different iPhone) and they fixed it right away for a much cheaper price than other stores, AND gave me a warranty on the replacement battery. I've had a lot of phone issues and found A2Z to be the best place in Ottawa to get these fixed! I definitely recommend it

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!! The owner is the most dishonest business owner I have ever had to do business with. The only policies he has are the ones he makes up as he goes along to rip you off. They have a no refund policy that is listed no where in the store, online or on your receipt. When you challenge them on that he tries up sell on another model or charge you a restocking fee that again is listed no where in the store, online or on the receipt. I bought a new cell for $249.99 (everywhere else in town the phone is listed at $160) on Saturday based on the owner great "reviews" but after using for less than 24hrs I realized it wasn't worth the price. I went to the store the next day to get a refund and was told by the sales guy that it wasn't a problem, I could get a refund but that's when it started to go wrong. He called to owner to get "authorization" for the refund... The owner first tried to sell me a better phone for $25 more when I checked online that phone was listed else where in town for $160, trying to rip me off once again for more money. He refused to refund me my money so I ask to at least price match since he kept saying on Saturday how he had the best prices in town, he refused. He said my only option was to pay a outrageous restocking fee. In the end i got screwed a 25% restocking which he wanted on top to charge me taxes for?!?! I will never go back to this place. This owner is scam artist that doesn't stand behind his products, prices or policies. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GO OUT BUSINESS WITH PRACTICES LIKES. TLDR: They realised the root cause that the screen on my phone broke was a bloated battery. But they did not inform me until after fixing the screen and charging me over 200 CAD. They returned the phone to me with a loose back cover, as the bloated battery did not allow the cover to be fixed on. And they suggested that I can get the battery replaced with 70 to 80 CAD. Shady business practices. ___________________________________________ It's been almost two years since I visited the store, and I forgot to leave a review. So here is a throwback of my experience with the store in 2016. I went in to repair a crack on the screen of my phone (Xperia Z Ultra). And at the time I was not sure how the screen sustained a crack as I had not dropped it or smashed it against anything (as a responsible phone owner wouldn't). The store owner assured that they will be able to fix it, and that the whole screen would need to be replaced.. for a little over 200 CAD. I loved the phone and it was functional so I thought why not. I put a deposit in and waited over a week for the fix. I went back in when the screen was fixed, and they claimed that the reason the screen was cracked was because the battery had swelled and it pushed up against the screen from behind, which caused the crack in the first place........ . They returned the phone to me with a new screen, but with the back cover of the phone detached since the bloated battery did not allow the cover to be put on. BUT WHEN I FIRST HANDED THEM THE PHONE, THE BACK COVER WAS PERFECTLY FINE. *sigh* then they suggested that I get a new battery and that would cost 70 to 80 CAD... Now there were two things that a reasonable person from the store could have done: 1. They could have diagnosed the root cause of the issue by opening up the phone first before making an uninformed conclusion that only the screen needs to be replaced. Hence, this would have allowed them to be completely aware of the problem and inform me of the issue, which would allow me to decide if I would want to spend close to 300 CAD to repair a phone. 2. After I had made a deposit and they had the phone in their possession for repair, upon opening up the phone they would have noticed the bloated battery (bloated batteries typically mean they're closing in to the end of their lifespan). They could have informed me of the bloated battery and asked if I still would want to get the screen repaired. They did not follow either of those steps, suggesting careless and unethical behavior. All this is to say is I was scammed into paying over 200 CAD to repair a phone, which came out in a worse condition than it was before, and then I was suggested to get a new battery, which they wanted to do for 70 to 80 CAD. I encourage others to tread cautiously when you deal with stores specializing in phone repair. Ask them to diagnose the the root cause, and then decide if it is worth trying to fix the problem or get a new phone.

A2Z have a level of customer service far beyond what you would expect from a shop their size. I have a fairly exotic phone that I accidentally dropped and had to fix a big spiderweb crack originating in a corner. Every other cell repair shop shrugged at me when I said no, it's no an Apple or a Samsung. Jayson at A2Z immediately put in a special order with his supplier and the part was here in about two weeks after a hold-up with customs. On arrival the shop was busy and they had to multitask my repair but the phone was handled very well for how much the techs had to deal with at once (phone calls, walk-in customers, other repairs). After replacing the screen/digitizer unit they went the extra mile by repairing the phone with Gorilla glue instead of adhesive tape as the phone's frame had been slightly dented and would end up peeling away from ordinary tape. A2Z clamped everything together and let me keep the clamps overnight while the glue set! Best of all with parts and labour this was still only half the price of buying a new phone. The next morning I had issues with the phone getting data signal and texted Jayson. Despite being on his way to the airport for a flight to Europe, he texted me thorough instructions as to possible causes and assured me that if the phone was not 100% working after the store repaired it they would issue a refund. Sure enough it was an APN issue (my phone is dual-SIM) and his instructions worked! All the instructions and e-mails were sent very shortly after I contacted him with the complaint. Finally, when the Gorilla glue set it formed an ugly rim on the phone's display. A2Z's techs razored it off free of charge with no damage to the phone (after I skimmed a plastic rim trying it myself). This is the best shop in town if you don't have AppleCare or a similar instant replacement plan for your phone. You will get fast, honest service and a good guarantee of workmanship. I hope I don't need their services again but it's great knowing they're available!

I went to two other places downtown and in the Rideau Centre who were unable to help me. The guy told me about why needed to be done to change the battery in my Galaxy S7 (a lot of work), warned me that the back cover might get ruined, and was very up front and honest. I came to the store after closing hours and without even asking, the employee came back to the store after closing hours to fix my phone and he let me watch him fix it while explaining how everything works. He was very nice and honest about the options for the screen repairs. The repair itself was very quick and well done. The phone went from completely unusable to essentially brand new again.

Acts like your best friend when they are selling something. Talks a big talk to upsell you on accessories too. As soon as you walk in with an issue (not asking for anything free, just asking and inquiring about options, telling them what happened, and also telling them about the dissapointing result of the product I purchased from them), gets on the defensive, unwilling to sympathize with a customer's position and becomes a completely different person (basically like talking to a wall. and deferring responsibility to the manufacturer, maybe all the customer is looking for is understanding that they are frustrated with the shoddy product they purchased from them). I had bought in a phone in early February to fix a phone that had been suddenly started shutting off randomly. I had originally brought the phone into another store and however they couldn't fix it. Beforehand, they informed me that they had a service charge of $10.00. I brought the phone to CPR and the two staff working during one evening informed me that they couldn't believe that a previous store couldn't handle a 'simple' problem. I was feeling hopeful that the problem would be fixed with this store. I was promised by one of the employees that if the problem of my phone was not fixed I would not be charged when I picked it up. One week later, I received confirmation by email that my phone's problem had been fixed. However, when I picked up the phone, I was surprised to see a repair bill of $70. In comparison, to the other cell repair store they who would have charged me $35. If the problem could not be fixed I was informed it would be another $10.00 service fee which I would been okay with. However, 24 hours later the original problem had been reoccurring. I dropped off a second time, and informed the daytime manager that I was promised not be charged if the phone could not be fixed. I dropped the phone off a second time, a week later, the problem was still not fixed yet again. Luckily, they had a 100 day warranty and was not charged a second time. If they could not fix the problem, they shouldn't have promised me getting charged. I felt cheated and basically and saw my $50.00 go down the drain for dead phone. Overall, They need to get a handle on their employees. I only managed to negotiate a refund of $20.00 off a bill worth $70.00 when I spoke to the owner. Phone still shuts on and off. They shouldn't have never accepted to fix the phone if they could not fix a hardware issue. I am aware that my phone had a nan-chip issue that eventually would have led to $200.00 fix. However, if this was the case. They should have not attempted to fix my phone and informed me that it was a lost cause from the beginning. It was this disloyal, ethical, and unprofessional conduct that I won't be returning and would not recommend anyone to get their phone looked at. This company needs to evaluate what they say to their customers. UPDATE: One year later, phone still doesn't work. Sent to SAMSUNG and they told me it was a different problem that wasn't listed above. Still not impressed.

A2Z is the best place in Ottawa if you need to get your cell phone fixed. I went into the store for my first time yesterday on a whim and ended up leaving the store with my cellphone completely repaired and in better condition then before entering. Jayson, Sam, and Dylan were amazing, they broke down the price to me so I knew what I was getting, and they were all extremely knowledgable. They were also customer service at it's finest, and even gave me a deal on the tempered glass screen protector :) And if you go anywhere else to have your stuff fixed your crazy.

Listen for a sec. This place "fixed" my phone with gorilla glue, instead of adhesive, and also stole the screws out of the back of my phone. Go here if you want your phone fixed for 2 days. My experience at A2Z Cellular Repair Solutions was certainly a positive one and I would gladly recommend this establishment for anyone's technological needs. This will be my first and last place to get my phone fixed at a third party repair shop. I dropped my phone on its back sometime in mid August, which shattered the sapphire lens and pieces of it went into the camera scrapping it. I called in to get a quota. The owner called me back and suggested me to replace the aluminum while fixing the camera as it reduces the labor work. I agreed to it and they said they will need to order it in. However, I told them that I would be going to the states the following Wednesday. They said that it can be done. When I went to the shop on Monday, 2 DAYS BEFORE I LEAVE, the part was not in and that they cancelled the order without my acknowledgement! I wanted to get a refund but I needed the receipt... So, the following day I went in to get my refund of my deposit. The owner was the one who was dealing with my refund and when he saw it was me, he basically reassured me that he will get this fixed and will reduce the price for me. I decided to give him another chance. I told him that I will be going to Europe at the end of the month and will be away for two weeks - I would’ve gotten my camera fixed elsewhere but since he was lowering the cost, I just agreed to it. When I came back from my trip, I texted the owner on an update of my parts. No reply. I called and they said the part still wasn’t in. When I sent an angry text message to the owner, he claimed that he received 3 fake parts from a trusted supplier. If they were “trusted suppliers”, they wouldn’t have sent fake parts 3 times nor would you communicate with them through WhatsApp. Long story short, they wasted over a month’s worth of my time. I went on two trips without having my camera fixed. In the end, I went in to Apple to get it fixed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

After two weeks the glue used on my Moto X Play gave up and caused the screen to loift up. It got stuck on my pocket and caused the corner to snap off. This was not covered by their "warranty" because it was physical damage, even though it was caused by improper labour. They told me they would call me in a couple days to work out a solution, but never called me back! Terrible experience for such a high price!

been there to change a screen, screen was defect and i came to return it with the invoice. He says my phone has a problem then dont want to change the screen even with warranty. I came back because my phone was obviously not the problem. I just left. never again. as a customer i been lied to, accused of returning a fake screen, paid for something 2 times. lost more then 3 hours not including all the drive to ottawa. i mean what can they do more. ah yeah.. argue for not giving me the receipt after he changes. big 0. not recommend.

Dillon suggested a used but in good shape Samsung A10S. which I went and got. I had a very dead phone that happened while installing TWRP. The phone is a Galaxy S8+ which is very hard to un-brick. If you read xda forums where serious hackers go , it is said it can't be done. They got my phone working but the IMEI was all zeros so I couldn't phone anyone. They rewrote the IMEI to its original state, which again is impossible if you search the internet. I had a pretty obscure issue with a 2012 Nexus 7 tablet, managed to McGyver it tks to YouTube to get my data but tablet still not charging right, turns out power control chip has issues on those, which explains all the crazy behaviour and 'fixes' that only work once ???? Great advice, were interested in my hack success, and even pointed the way to a place I can get wires and connectors and such for small electronics. I'd already had the charging port replaced elsewhere, which did nothing. These guys gave me the straight dope! In a world where 5 sales staff at the Source can't tell me the basic specs of a universal cell charger, these guys are an oasis of credibility in a sea of precious ignorance - my go to repair shop now!!!

Paid $324.41 with Tax in CASH as per Jayson (owner) request to fix my cracked Samsung S6 Edge screen. Most expensive fix in Ottawa! I was sold on the one year warranty they “claim” they provide. 6 months later LCD issues – no physical damage. 4 Visits to inconvenient store location, No Jayson. Left my name and number each time - NO reply. Finally emailed Jayson and long story short he would not honour my warranty and kept singing the song that LCD issues were a result of physical damage. Visited Mobile Klinik (they charge $270 for screen repairs with a life time warranty – VISIT THEM- THEY ARE SAMSUNG CERTIFIED REPAIR) who diagnosed the problem as being “FAILURE OF PARTS AND/OR INSTALLATION”. Now I am mad. Go back and forth with Jayson who still hasn’t agreed to meet me to look at my phone. SHADY! He still hasn’t agreed to provide a resolution other than charge me an additional $295 to fix my screen. Off to the Better Business Bureau for starters (found out that there are previous complains against A2Z Cellular Repair Solutions). I FEEL CHEATED. Yes you need to repair your phone, GO someplace else … GO anywhere else. Everywhere else is cheaper. You might be happy to initially getting your smartphone fixed but if there is an issue A2Z Cellular Repair Solutions will not fix the problem that resulted from their warranty covered repair for free. I don't know where these 5star reviews are coming from since Jayson hasnt been in store for months. I know I have been chasing him ... literally. NO STAR rating.

I had to get a new screen for my Samsung S10 in a really short time frame as I work out of town for long periods of time. They ordered 24 hour shipping ( as it is an uncommon and expensive part to have on hand) and got my phone screen fixed up the next day Flawlessly! Came with a 1 year warranty and some piece of mind. Would highly recommend to any of my friends regardless of apple or samsung. Great customer service.

What a nightmare. My phone screen was improperly repaired twice only to stop working yet again. I spoke with the owner Jayson who gave me the impression he was going to help me out, but was left hanging for 2 weeks. When I called he accused me of breaking the phone myself and told me I'd have to return to Ottawa (I work on a ship and live in BC) for them to examine it before acknowledging it could be an improper repair. I need my phone for work and had already gone 4 weeks without it. When I expressed frustration with his very aggressive tone given my circumstances as a result of his incompetence, I was called the C-word. I'm left feeling scammed, abused and now have a completely useless brand new phone that I paid $600 for.

Worst place ever. I brang my ipad and it took almost 2 month to get repaired. Home button is not replaced correctly, I paid for an original apple glass but got a cheap chinese one. I went there for a broken glass and 2 months later i'm having a bill and a useless unit.

A2Z Cellular and Jayson in particular were extremely helpful and patient. We had a Samsung S6 which was damaged by water and were told by others that it was not repairable and that we could not retrieve anything from it. This was especially tragic for us because we had photos and videos of our baby daughter that were our only copies. A2Z were able to retrieve everything from the phone for us and fixed the phone as well so that it was fully functioning again. The photos were irreplaceable and it meant so much to us to get them back. They understood the value of these images to us. They were very helpful particularly when we had a hard time getting the data they retrieved for us as we were travelling. I would highly recommend A2Z cellular to anyone that needs data restored or a phone repaired.

I tagged along with a friend while she was getting her phone fixed. They bent over backwards to give us a fair deal even when the phone was unfixable. They were really clear when they explained the issues and the fixes they tried, enough so that even I understood and I've no background in computers or anything like that. They found a solution that was satisfying for everybody. I'd be happy to recommend them to my friends or family and bring my own tech in for repairs. Given the circumstances, it was an excellent experience, so five stars.
