I switch my service to Rogersonly to find out now a week later that the phone I bought from Rogers was 10 years old when it was sold to me what is up with that. Also had a very hard time logging in to anyting including Rogers app this kid Jesse needs to grow up that's sold me a 10 year old phone and also could not help me to get logged into any of my apps and one of them's what is Rogers for god sakes. Beware of Rogers I'll never try them or Bell as they are both a bunch of thieves

This is not a complaint about this particular store, but about Rogers Communications in general…. This company is an absolute JOKE. I can not understand how they still have customers. I signed a new cellphone contract with Rogers YEARS ago. They PROMISED I would not be overcharged each month. (As I wanted to switch to pay-as-you-go because they would overcharge me every, single, month. Literally. Every month) So the employee convinced me to sign a new contract and get a new phone. She gave me her WORD that I would not be overcharged each month. I literally used the words, “do you promise I won’t have to call each month to get the charges fixed?…” and she said ,”yes. I promise”. I signed the contract. For the following four months after that, I was overcharged $15 each month. Every. Single. month. I would call, they would apologize and take it off, and I would call again the next month. Finally, month 5, I explained that I was fed up and not doing that for 2 whole years. I told them to take their phone back and I was done. Nope. They said “you signed a contract”. I explained that I signed a contract with the agreement that I would NOT have to call monthly to have my bill fixed. But since they weren’t keeping their end of the contract, they can cancel me out. The refused. It has been at LEAST 5 years. COLLECTIONS IS STILL CALLING! Lol! They don’t seem to understand that they’re never getting a dime from me. Eveeeer. It’s laughable that Rogers is still around. Do yourself a favour and go with Bell Mobility! I have NEVER had any problems with them. EVER. Save yourself the headache. Don’t bother with Rogers. Ever. Oh, and their internet package is no different. Overcharges constantly. Joke company.
Store staff are unpleasant, and unkept.
As others pointed out, they change their prices like they change their clothes. And the employees don't know what the heck they're doing. They frequently pause and ask others or the manager. At times I had to tell them the facts so they could understand. Their knowledge is not up to date with technology and even with their own business model and offers. smh

Was quoted twice before the S9+ arrived to be sure by the same person over 2 days verifying....... then, 2 days later when they got it was told it's $220 more down, this location is by far the worse underknowledged staff and lousy as heck at lying when smarter people walk in and read them like a book, I got a kick out of them. I got the phone anyway because I wanted it, NOT because I got treated great or fair at all to clarify. So faithfully of course I along with more were screwed again. P.S to management or Regional management of this location. The Sales skills are terrible here and will crush this location soon for you and close up. Train them their own sales tactics better, have them be honest and clear and you may have more than a 2 star Google review in the future. You guys suck. If you were honest about pricing and offerings and stuck to it through to the end. We "The customers" probably wouldn't mind getting fkd since you were honest ahead of time and probably still get and of not get more business.
My life was going the way of an old country song: my wife left me for another man, my dog had run away, and I was always feeling ill from the radiation from my old phone. That all changed the moment I walked into the Rogers store in Trenton. The staff there gave me the customer service experience of a lifetime. I met the manager who was a very friendly and intelligent man, a young lady who was very pleasant and never cross with anyone, and a very handsome monotone Eeyore type fellow. They sold me a top of the line phone with device protection and I got this fancy Rogers cash back card that saves me money everytime I use it! I also am no longer feeling ill as they sold me this liquid glass screen protector that reduces the specific absorption rate of the radiation coming from the screen of the phone! After leaving the store I bumped into the new love of my life (once she saw the size of my new phone) and my dog returned home the next day! Cheers Rogers Trenton!

Works for me ill pay 3 bucks not to talk to then but I will if they charge me 20 I bet they make way more this way xD also got the pixel here and it has been awesome. Always have connection too their coverage is grand. I went from NB to Ottawa and had coverage the entire way.

Have always loved the customer service from Rogers. Chloe was able to do in 20 minutes what others weren't able to in a week. Also at me up with an amazing new phone at a great price.
My SO and I went there around 4pm on a Tuesday. The store was locked and the ‘open’ sign was off. We thought it was closed, until someone let us in from the back. Ian, was very unhelpful. We were turned away and asked to go to Barrie to the corporate store to redeem an offer we had received from Black Friday. When asked where the corporate store was in Barrie, he said that there was no way to know which store was corporate or not… Barrie is 2.5h away from North Bay. He was unwilling to call customer support on our behalf and discouraged us from calling support ourselves. It seemed like he didn’t want to put effort into his job and wanted to leave early.

Google Maps says this Rogers location is open on Saturdays but hours on the door say Monday-Friday. Please update your hours so we don’t drive here expecting it to be open...... why doesn’t Rogers have a stand alone location with better hours in this city? All other providers do

This could be the best Roger's store for the staff alone. They are kind, knowledge and will take the time to ensure all questions & concerns are answered thoroughly. Safety protocols are in place, so you'll wait at the door for screening, then you're welcomed in. The display models are not out but do not fear- they still have smartphones, smart watches & tablets in stock.
I've had cellular service and internet with Rogers for 12 years. They've always been fair to me. This store is hit or miss as to when it's best to go as crowds can form quickly. It's unfortunate they removed the automatic bill paying machine; that was handy and it sure was faster than waiting in line. As an existing business customer I can say that if you really want something done, go to Rogers website, bypass the "chat with an agent" feature and send a direct email from the website. This goes directly to Rogers managers and I have had great results using this contact method.

went there to day stopping by 3 other place's to get my new phone serviced. i needed to transfer my contacts. the other 3 places did or could not help me with this. the lady there was SO help full, and i do mean helpful ,she was with me for a long time. But she got it to work!! she will remember me as she told me she has never worked on a Blackberry before. Well she has now. and i still think both him and her have magic fingers.... GREAT STAFF !!!!

BEWARE. My daughter bought her first cell phone at an Independent grocer Saturday, March 10. In her haste she picked up a $100 Rodgers card instead of a PC Mobile card. We discovered the mistake when we got home. The cards are the same colour and mounted on the same side on the display kiosk. We went to Rogers and explained her mistake to the person behind the counter. To our amazement, he said it was to bad and said we should buy a Rogers phone to use up the card. Really? They know the pin number has not been used but no refund. What kind of sick business practice is this. The bottom line is Roger gets the keep some ones money for not providing any service whatsoever! Beware who you do business with.

This Store has now been a pain to deal with twice. Terrible customer service. I ordered and made changes to my phones and needed to pick up a sim card in store. Went to the store on the coldest day and was told to wait outside for 15-20 mins. I left to go do some errands and came back in the 20 mins, only to be told I would have to wait for 45 minutes next. I left this time. I called multiple times and finally got someone on the phone. Frustrated, I explained what I needed and asked if there was a way to book a time to come in to get the card. I was told flat out No. First come, first serve. This was all after a family member who rarely uses a phone was in there to replace their pay as you go phone. She was told they can’t sell a phone to her and that she had no choice but to buy a plan. I understand there are difficulties due to the pandemic. But there are options to allow people to deal with the restrictions. Rogers themselves suggested booking an appointment and were surprised to be told the store wouldn’t book one. This is not the first time I have had bad service here. Due to past experiences, the store lost out on 3 new Iphones, 2 plans and a tablet that was all delivered, activated and setup by the Rogers pro with vastly better results and customer service.

Awful company. Didn't send the first bill then over charged us on the second. Couldn't deliver the speed promised for internet and equipment that was given to use such as the modem and cable box is severely outdated. Customer service is horrible. Was hung up on 4 times before finally finding someone who was willing to fix the issue but was still quite rude about it. The over all experience as a rodgers customer was horrible and I would recomend anyone to go elsewhere. Heartless soulless corporation who will take and take and under deliver everytime.

Very rude staff! I was not greeted, I was made to feel like I was a burden, I tried lightening the mood by complimenting them on their service and was shot down immediately with an oh so charming eye roll. They're lucky I wasn't their boss because if I'd witnessed this, the two of them would be gone. Is it really so hard to be friendly anymore? A simple smile or even a kind word could have made all the difference. They told me walk-ins aren't welcome there anymore as the store was too busy, so let me just finish by saying, thank you for the warning but it'll be a cold day in hell before I set foot in that store again anyway.

I was to store to cancel service because my husband passed away. no acknowledgement of my loss by either the call center agent who processed the cancellation or by Leanne in store to processed the equipment return. I just got "have a nice day". I left there upset and irritated. I'm very glad my home service is with Bell!!!!
Worst customer service experience ever at Rogers Mccallister Place, Saint John, NB. Annabelle I think their name was....threatened to call security on my husband because he wanted to speak to a manager after they refused to take our boxes back; as we switched providers. We wanted to give the boxes back directly in the store so they could print off a recipet for us to have (a lot people get a heafty bill because Rogers comes back saying they never returned the boxes when they did, either by not getting proof of a recipet after returned, or making people send off the boxes thru mail themselves; which could lead to the boxes being lost in transit... we didnt want happening) He had a broken hand and trying to hold onto our 2 year old son mind you; but they didnt care at all... So refusing to take the boxes (even tho it's their property) My husband had no choice but to call a roger's customer service representative right there in their own Rogers store & was on the phone with them for 2 hours. The representative was actually very sweet and apologized; she was shocked at our treatment & wanted to speak to Annabelle on the pphone herself...which the employee refused to do...not in her job description I guess? So we had to go thru to one of the head people of Rogers to call the actual store, forcing the employees to pick up their own store phone, and had a conversation with them, telling them to take our boxes back & give us a receipt. (Which they should have in the beginning with no trouble; even the Rogers rep said that) They were just power tripping, or didnt want to deal with us since we weren't making a sale for them; I will never deal with Roger's ever. We switched to Bell since they have a good deal going on right now...we actually were planning on probably go back to Rogers again down the road, ya no chance for that happening again because of this poor treatment. I don't care if Bell charges us 100$ more then what Roger's is asking...because of that terrible experience...I will never go back to Rogers. Also to add...near the end when we were waiting for our recipet...another customer showed up & the same employee gave her attitude saying there is nothing they can do...so the lady (customer) said...she will wait in the store and will have call Roger's customer service on the phone since they cant do anything & the employee said "even if she did that...nothing will come from that" (same treatment as us) & my husband spoke up & told the lady to call anyways...he had to go thru the same thing. The employee got mad & actually said to my husband to "stop harassing their customers" ...when he was talking to the lady, trying to give her advice. Thought he was a costumer also since he was dealing with Roger's too...guess your only a customer if your buying something from the store. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I hope Roger's deals with the terrible service at that store...they are losing so much business.

I was in the store the other day and the service was excellent. Ashley was very friendly, helpful, professional and explained everything plainly. She had a problem at the computer terminal but maintained poise and completed the process a 3rd time at a different station. Extremely pleased with the service there.

The Store Manager at the McKeown location was very empathetic and knowledgeable. She provided excellent Customer Service. And no she is not my daughter she is simply good at what she does. The store is in a good storefront location with lots of other stores and restaurants.
Nobody wants to really help you. The staff was reading off a piece of paper under her keyboard and did not listen to what we to say.

I highly recommend this location for all your communication needs. I walked in looking for my options as I was due for an upgrade. A big thank you to Ian and Bobby at this Rogers store on McKeown. Excellent customer service. I presented them with a couple of problems that might have caused other Reps to get a little snarky. However they solved the issues with patience and a very good knowledge of how the system works. If you are thinking of purchasing a phone or other cell products/services, give this store a try. I'm sure you will be pleased.

My husband and I went into Roger's in Simcoe to upgrade out phones. We lucked out and had J.T. as our sales rep. He was absolutely fantastic. He is super knowledgeable and very personable. J.T. made our experience so great! The atmosphere of this location is wonderful. We have been Roger's customers for years, and will continue to be because of the staff here.

Showed up there today for a charger, I rang the bell and all the associates sat at the counter starting at me. There was 3 of them doing nothing and one customer. I tried to call them to see why they weren’t opening the door and no one answered. I went to leave and another man went to the door and they opened it and told him they were at capacity! With one customer being served and 3 associates doing nothing! So I went to the Belleville store and was in and out. I problem !
Nobody knows anything worst place to bring your phone for repair.

Guy quoted us an awesome deal than once he had all our info .. hit our credit and put everything threw .. he then says the price he quoted us was wrong and would be much more expensive plus a one time 200 dollar charge .. wasted over an hour to get everything back to the way it was .. and once everything had been fixed .. no compensation for wasting our time. And no manager came out to talk to us .. pathetic.
The people that work there get very snobby the moment that they think they're not going to get any business from their customers. It happened to me and my other friends who went in.

I was there this afternoon! They are more easy to talk to and relay better info than call centers. I suppose it's a different speel between call center and a front desk .The young fella working was a solid customer service mind for his job.

I have not actually walked into this store, but I have dealt with 1 staff member and the manager on the phone due to a previous issue with the other location. Jennifer was able to access and forward to me our contracts in a very timely manner, and then Diane took it upon herself to call me, offer to rectify the situation that was caused by a previous employee at another location, and provide us with credits that I felt we were due. I will definitely go in to this location next time we are updating or upgrading our equipment, looking for accessories, or new products. Thank you Jennifer and Diane for solving an issue caused by someone else. Makes me glad that I choose to do business with local locations, rather than just on-line.
