Avoid this place at all costs! So I had an appointment at 12:30 on may 3rd 2018. So I bought a universal varex muffler online and needed someone to weld it up and the town I live in doesn't have a muffler shop and Cranbrook was the closest option. When I brought my car in I went under neath the lift with the guy and explain exactly what I wanted done. What I brought in with me was a universal varex muffler, a walker pipe that had a flange that bolted right up to muffler that I payed for, a gasket for the muffler and 2 bolts. So after the car was done I picked it up and drove it home. So a couple days later I had to do some work on my car and I went underneath to notice that he didn't use the flange I provided and instead the guy welded the pipe right the the muffler basically wrecking it and making it so I have to remove my whole exhaust from my turbo back to remove my muffler even tho i went out of my way to explain what I wanted done So this is where it gets interesting. So when I noticed what they did I called the shop to explain what happened and (un) luckily enough the guy who picked up the phone was the guy who did my muffler. He explained that the pipe I brought in was the wrong one and that he had no other choice but to weld the pipe directly to the muffler even tho I had it bolted up when I brought it in. So when I told him that I was frustrated the he didn't contact me before making that decision he decided to hang up on me. So I waited 15 mins to call back and I ended up talking to a guy named Clint. He told me that they were very busy and to email my situation with pictures and that he would get back to me when he got off work. So he never got back to me about it Another thing I noticed is that on my bill I got charged for a 'pipe ce' even though I brought it in with me. The charge was $40 for a part that I bought at Lordco I will update this review if someone contacts me about this and resolves this issue

Fantastic service, fixed a break issue my usual mechanic in a different city missed that was pretty major. Needless to say they brought be into the shop, showed me the problems, and explained everything with a visual. I was driving home through the mountains the next day and I can guarantee that had I not gone and seen these guys, my truck would likely have not made it safely. Not to mention after my mishap, I called them and although super busy, squeezed me in within 20 min and had a full break job done in time for the end of the day. These guys rock!!

Was going to a different shop in town when I first moved based on their rating and was getting good service but it was not the easiest to get in so when I had a last minute quick but urgent issue of my muffler becoming a detached two piece over the prefered one piece a lovey gentleman who worked for subaru dealership happened to drive by and help me jimmy rig it up with some electrical wire and recomended I go to minute muffler because thats who they call for muffler repairs, I listened to his advice. Even though they were crazy busy they understood my predicament and fit me in for a quick weld back together but recommended i come back to replace it...I made a appt for a month later as I was on my way out of town. When I came back he refused to replace it because the weld was holding and I had no leaks and didnt want to take my money for no reason. His intergrity has had me coming back since. Although they are apart of a chain I can attest to this being a family run shop where its hard to tell if they love their work or their customers more. I have never felt like I was just a number or that my car wasnt getting the same quality of work they would do on their mothers vehicle. Not just a muffler shop if your having any issues this is the first place in the vally I would recommend.

Been a rough week... Local RCMP cracking down on loud vehicles and front licence plates... Had to deal with both of these with my car. Front licence plate sucks no matter which way you look at it but these guys made the exhaust portion painless. Clint was awesome, car sounds great and very affordable. Thanks a ton!!!

The owner and whole staff were very courteous and friendly. We have been on the road for several weeks and live 1000's of miles from Cranbrook. The a.m. we needed a muffler and tail pipe. I had an exhaust leak that was very noisy and fumes were getting into the vehicle. Called and had an appointment 2 days later. They could not source the gasket so they had to make one as well as replace my tailpipe which also had a hole thru it. Did some other welding on a joint and I was back on the road. Everything done was shown to me while the vehicle was still on the hoist and the final price for all the work was very reasonable. I would recommend Minute Muffler for any work and will be using them for all future repairs.

These guys are stellar. They provide such an excellent service and are very patient in explaining to you what is wrong with your vehicle. You also get a feeling that they're honest and transparent, which is so important with a mechanic. I got stuck in Cranbrook and someone recommended them. Theres 3 other muffler shops in Cranbrook, I went in all to do estimates and 2 different times, for different problems. The othes shops are way too much expensive! These mechanics are the best you can get, I had no futher problems after fixed. They also have very good coffee for customers. Seriously its more than worth.
