I took my dinosaur of a nexus 5 to Coleman's based strictly on the positive reviews. It had been submerged, and after a week of drying, was still completely dead. I needed screenshots off the phone, in order to access the password to a game I'd spent a few hundred on, and had been playing over a year. I was informed that I'd never be able to use it as a phone again, which was fine with me, as I just wanted the data. I was quoted a range of prices from the low to the high, based on the difficulty of retrieving the info off the phone. A couple weeks later Matt phoned me, and said he'd been able to retrieve everything I'd asked for. The price he charged, was the lowest quote he'd given me, and I left a happy customer. The best part of all is, I came home charged the phone, and to my amazement it turned on. I realize because of corrosion and the age of the phone it will probably die sooner than later, but I've been using it to stream to my Chromecast, and couldn't be happier. Matt did an amazing job, and could've charged me significantly more. He has earned my admiration, trust, and all future business when it comes to my mobile devices or gaming consoles. Thanks Matt.

Fixed the problem but created a new one. He replaced my screen but didn't glue it on right. I went back for him to make it right and he tried but couldn't. Now my water tight xperia z3 isnt so water tight.

I can't say how happy I am I brought my phone to Colemans Mod & Repair! This is the ONLY place I'll be bringing my phone to repair now. 10/10 I called multiple shops and explained I dropped my phone and that it wont turn on no mater what I do, what were the chances I could recover my data? They told me no chances at all, and that the phone would need to be wiped clean. I decided last minute to try Coleman's Mod & Repair and he told me there was a chance, it turns out that the circuit went out on my motherboard when I dropped it (if I understood correctly). He recovered all of my data, and my phone is fully functional! I had photos on that phone that I could never recover, and I luckily got to keep them all.

I disabled my iPhone and couldn’t use it at all. I wanted to take it somewhere and get it fixed without resetting it and deleting everything (contacts, photos, notes, apps, etc) and being charged a ridiculous amount of money. I live in Ottawa so when my sister recommended Coleman’s Mod & Repair, I was a little skeptical of taking it to anyone in Cornwall. Wow! Was I ever wrong! Coleman’s not only got my phone working for me again, but nothing was erased on it either. I am so happy to have my phone and everything is still on it, as if it hadn’t even been touched to begin with. Plus, he told me he’d have it ready for me in an hour, which I thought was incredible!!! I couldn't make it back there in an hour though so I went in and picked it up the next day, for an amazing deal too. Highly recommend Coleman’s Mod & Repair for all of your cell phone needs. In 2012 I went to Colemans to get my screen on my iPhone 4s replaced as the screen had broken from a drop. Upon receiving my phone back the phone would no longer turn the screen off when the phone was against my face, I found it odd but he said he used factory oem replacements so I thought I had. A software glitch, turns out he just used a cheap replacement without a photosensor built in like the oem replacements have. I cut my losses and didn't really care much. Fast forward to today, my brother broke his screen on his Samsung a50, screen went black after some time but he was still receiving alerts and notifications. He proceeded to bring his phone to Colemans yesterday to have the screen replaced and left him with a 20$ tip on top of that. Coleman's replaced the screen and contacted my brother to tell him it was ready and he just needed to come unlock phone. When my brother arrived he said the screen was only staying on for a second or while plugged in and to come back the following day and he would have it fixed. Today he contacts my brother to tell him his motherboard is fried and that he will put the old broken screen back in phone and my brother can pick up and get refunded. The motherboard was not fried prior to entering his shop and is leaving his shop in a state of disrepair due to improper service. He then proceeded to say that there is 'no way to prove that he fried the mother board'. Poor quality parts, poor service standards, and terribly poor customer satisfaction. If you look around you will find people aren't satisfied with his prices as well. Leaving this 'business' with a 1 star review from me.

My PS4's disc tray wasn't able to take a disc for some reason, he was doing his basic diagnostic on it and it started working again. They call to let you know what is going on and how much the repair would cost. They called me and let me know the good news, they could've tried to ask for more money but because it started up again during the diagnosis he only asked for the diagnosis fee. Real honest hardworking people.

Matt did what Apple, and an Apple retailer couldn't (or wouldn't) do; He replaced the screen on my 2008 Macbook, and did a brilliant job! The new screen is vibrant, and you can't tell that it's a replacement! He also did it pretty quickly considering he had to order the part. Highly Recommend!

This is my second visit with them over the past couple of years; the first visit was to fix my iPad 3 screen and the second (today) was to replace a charging port on my Samsung Galaxy S7.
