Disingenuous service. I was initially excited to receive a Ducky keyboard model that seemed out of stock with other resellers, but they ended up sending me a different, lower valued keyboard. Not sure if they are trying to scam me, but the RMA was approved but I'm still waiting on that refund.

I've been to both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack locations and both have knowledgeable staff. This is coming from someone who has been in the field for 28 years and has seen shops come and go.

I ordered a wifi range extender on April 8. When I still hadn't received it by May 2, I contacted them by email which they answered May 3. In that response they said an error had been made on my order and that I would receive a 10% discount on my next order. In the meantime they had resubmitted my original order and promised in their email that the system would show the update by the end of the day. I checked daily.....no update. I got to May 8th and contacted them first by email and then my live chat. The agent on live chat said my order had been shipped and they had not updated my account with that information or tracking details because "they don't do that on weekends". She provided a tracking number and I could see from that, that my order was on the way via UPS. After I logged off chat, I looked again at the tracking on the UPS site and noted that the order had been shipped on May 3 (the Wednesday before) What the weekend had to do with updating order details I have no idea since the order shipped on a Wednesday. UPS finally came and delivered my order later that afternoon and shortly after, I received an email response to the one I had send that morning, with the tracking information updated on it. Like I needed that info anymore since the order had "now" been delivered. Interestingly enough, according to the tracking info on UPS, the order required a signature but I was never asked for one. If this were not my order, this would almost be a funny story. Instead it is absolutely ridiculous how this was handled from the outset and right through to my receiving it finally on Monday May 8. A full month after I had ordered it. I will never order from their web site again. Best Buy wins in an instance such as this, hands down

the guys at the front desk. were absolutely amazing . I had so many questions and they listened to me and we came up with a game plan . brought the computer in for a fresh re-install some more rams and two new 1 T SSD drives . i complained about my Internet speed peaking at 170 with my shaw 300 and well they went above and beyond to get ole Bettsy running smooth and fast . Now I have no more excuses for being bad at the games .. only my lack of skills ! lol money well spent and i am a very happy costumer . thanks again !

I left them with my computer, they used sanitize wipes to clean my computer and charged me $10 for it? Without my consent to cleaning. Which also affected my trackpad, and made my keys sticky. I went there expecting them to fix my computer screen, instead they just put tape around the screen and call it a day. They also charged me over $20 to "transfer" data onto a memory stick even after I made it clear I did not want that. The atmosphere in the store is off, they just stare at you when you walk in, no greeting or not even a "thank you". No customer appreciation. I did not get the service I asked for, they charged me for something I did not ask for. I will not be returning.

I went to Mike's Computer shop to free up storage space on my Mac Book Air as I was receiving messages on my computer warning me that my space was quickly running out. I felt it was urgent to do something. Neal who helped me easily verified that I need more storage space. He knew which big programs to delete and some other lesser deletions to make. In twenty to thirty minutes he was finished.When I asked him how much I owed he said "Nothing, we like to be of help." Neal and what he did was such a huge help to me and provided so much emotional relief that I kept on insisting that I pay him something. Finally he accepted a small monetary token of my appreciation and put it in the tip box that the store has. This is one store I fully recommend for their expertise, kindness, and going the extra mile in service. Personally, I want to give extra thanks and recognition to Neil who helped me.

These guys are always so helpful. When your computer goes down they wont give you false promises or bad advise but will endeavor to help you solve it. Always so impressed with them. Once again I was in a serious pickle with an exam I needed to do and they said the solution was 50/50 but it worked and I am so glad.

Have purchased a PC and a laptop from Mike's since 2014. Both clearance items, both arrived and have remained in tip top working order. Excellent maintenance department. The techs will patiently answer any questions and go the extra mile. I ask a lot of questions, and they will explain in layman's terms and also do research. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the excessive difficulty in reaching them by phone or email. Clearly, the system is set up to discourage such communication, but I find it troublesome when I can't call ahead to get an estimate on how long a repair might take and what it might cost. No hourly rates or job estimates on their website, either. The website itself is hard to navigate, which is ironic. Dissembling, transporting and being without a PC is a big deal, and they need to be more responsive. To balance that, I will say the techs do phone with updates while working on your gear. Nor do they try to upsell you, unlike the big box store that begins with "B". Straight shooters. In fact, my last maintenance was a bit less than the estimate, because my machine turned out to not have the expected virus. If they had charged me for virus removal, I would never have known the difference. So, that is a gold star for them! The store is very clean and well organized, with parking immediately outside the door.

Service isn't that bad, about what is expected. However, I made an order and was told it would be about 6 business days until it arrived at first. This was about 3 weeks ago. I made another call to them, asking if my order was in, again, no luck, and the person over the phone told me 1-2 weeks. Probably won't be ordering from them again, I should not have had to wait 3 weeks when they tell me 6 days. I don't blame the employees, I just wish I was told accurate estimations rather than hopeful ones.

Best Buy will sell you "what's on their shelves"... Mike's will source out what you need. They offer knowledgeable advice and are helpful.

I ordered a case from here recently as I had got a bunch of parts together to upgrade my pc. When I got home I put everything together and noticed later that night that the front panel audio wire was lose causing a bad connection. I called mikes the next day and they told me to come in the next day and they would look at it. They looked at it and ordered a new case and made it right. They were also very friendly and the shop was neat and tidy. Oh also the case was a very reasonable price too which is why I got It. Definitely happy with the service and I will definitely go back. Good job mikes!

I purchased a Cooler Master power supply from Mike's computer shop on June 6th, which had failed on June 25th when I called Mikes for support they referred me to the web store where I purchased it. When I contacted the web store they said there's nothing they can do it's outside the 14 day return policy. I told them it is a defective item I spoke with their technician in the Vancouver store who suggested the item in the first place and they said doesn't matter go to the manufacturer they do not support their customers they do not stand by the products they sell after 14 days. In today's day and age for a company to refuse to stand by their sales past 14 days is an embarrassment they do absolutely nothing to help in this situation and told me to contact Cooler Master

Would not recommend mikes computer shop in general. The management doesn’t take own-is of there other store closing in Abbotsford. They create excuses and make false promises that can’t be delivered at the customers expense. Nice staff terrible management. If you are a regular consumer who doesn’t know electronics do not buy from them even if it looks like a great deal, it isn’t.

Do not buy from Mike`s online purchase it takes 3-5 days for them to manually call every credit card purchase to verify. Then it takes another week or so to fill order at warehouse, even though it was in BC somewhere. Then Fedex says it will be delivered on Fri...then Mon, now Tues. I tried to give a smaller guy some business, but it was a mistake.

He went above in beyond looking for the best deal for parts, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. Great people, but had higher expectations for their claims on 1-2 day shipping. I should have made the drive to Richmond for a similar MB I ordered Saturday. Figured things would get processed Monday morning and have it by Tuesday evening. Even the guys at the shop were wondering about their delivery guy. I know after posting this I'll bet the delivery guy is walking through their door.

Do not buy from this seller if you want reliable service. This seller lists items as in stock when they do not have them in stock. Once they realize they cant fulfill the order, they cancel orders without giving any compensation. They canceled my order after 4 days(2 business days) of waiting. Stay away from this seller.

Very happy this store is in Chilliwack. There is no other comparable store this side of langley. Not many high-end parts in stock but they can order whatever you need within a couple days. Only downfall is they wont take credit cards over the phone or email. They make you swipe the card in person, a major inconvenience for business sales.

Fantastic service, friendly, knowledgeable, and very supportive employees. They upgraded me from an old case with two fans to a new Zelman Z9 Neo case with 8 fans, while moving all my PC components from my old case to the new case! They even gave me better fans than the old case, and applied fresh thermal paste for my CPU. The PC is now running amazing with great performance. Their upgrading only took 1-2 business days, so it was quick service! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who are looking to upgrade their PC or buy accessories for their PC. Every employee was super helpful with all my inquiries, especially a guy called Ethan. I will definitely be taking my business back to this store in the future for more upgrades.
