I'm never going back. What turned out to be a day or 2 was over 2 weeks. First I was told my tablet was ready. I knew something wasn't right.. I went to see my order was mixed up with another lady. They put the new screen on her tablet instead of mine. Then I was told they would order another one. Next there was some else wrong they had to order another part. Then I was told they ordered the wrong screen. I didn't trust what they said. I felt gigged around. Very poor service and not dependable.

If there was a zero rating , I would give it to Device Doctors. Two months ago , I paid them $160 to replace a cracked screen on an iPhone 8. Right away , I noticed the screen was dull and didn’t look as colourful as my daughters iPhone 6s. Then a week or two later, the screen started shaking and then finally just before I brought the phone in to show them what happened, while I was charging my phone one day (in a Lifeproof case) , I noticed 2 hairline cracks in the screen. Took it in to Device Doctors to see what thy could do for me. They told me they would replace the screen for me for another $140 ! Not a chance I will give them another nickel! They use cheap quality screens and they do NOT care about their customers. Stay away from them, far away! What a classy, mature from them!! Blaming the customer for their poor quality screen!! Haha

Terrible customer service! The phone took 4 weeks to get back. I was told 1 hour to fix when I called. When we got it back... it isn't even fixed right. We took it back again... we got nothing but attitude and disrespect from the owner. Avoid this place if you can!! Good Try Cory Rusk... the bill is in my husband and sons name. Not the wrong DD. Overpriced, for sure. When I had contacted them in regards to pricing some work to fix the broken glass on my phone, I was told by them that they did not do glass repair (which is fine and perfectly understandable), that they would have to replace the whole screen assembly to fix the glass and that they would charge $250. After hearing this and informing the owner that I found this price a little steep and after not hearing back from them, I did not do business here. Their initial and only response to my inquiry was brash and abrasive. I was disappointed that they did not respond to my reaction to their pricing and you may think that my 1 star rating may seem a little harsh, but I could not recommend them. I know other device repair businesses who do this type of work for a more reasonable price. I made inquiries about screen repair on this phone to their competitors and when their direct competitor priced the job at less than half of what Device Doctors quoted me, I went with them and I was not disappointed. I know that it's a tricky game, repairing mobile devices, phones, tablets and such, but the way that I was treated and the outrageous pricing, I would not recommend anyone go here. (Update) The owner of this establishment responded to my review simply with "ha ha". Apathy at its finest and nice to see that the owner finally responded. It only took a bad review to prompt them to do so. (Yet another update) combing through the Device Doctors reviews, after Google told me that my review was being viewed quite a bit, I noticed that the owner and what appears to be a few of the owner's friends have posted five star reviews to boost the Device Doctors star rating. I must say, I can't blame a person for trying, but totally hilarious if they were planning on doing it incognito. LOL

I went there with my Motorola that was not charging. The guy said that did not have the parts to fix anyway but would try another possibilities like charging my battery outside of the cell phone. After one hour the guy phoned me and said that the problem was fixed and would cost me 80 plus taxes. I went there and they told me that got the parts from another Motorola (wasn't new). I asked for a discount and the guy said no. They should have contacted me to inform me about the price (I wasn't expecting to be so expensive like that specially with used iPhones to sell for 50 in the store). Or maybe it was because I am not from Canada and I could noy argue with my poor English. Anyway, I am really upset about that. I don't have this kind of money to expend in a messed up situation like that.

Left my phone for battery issue. Called and clarified before my visit. Left my phone with them for 6hrs. Nothing is fixed. Paid $30 plus tax for "diagnostic fee". My phone broke down soon after. Not happy at all.

Really bad customer services. disappointment Took my laptop in to fix the charger port. Charged me over $150. To replace it . 3 months later the same part stopped working . I took it back to then they told me $30 just to diagnose it lol it was obviously the same issue. I left and took my laptop down the street to Computer Fix on grafton. Much better friendlier service. No charge for " diagnosis" lol he plugged in another charger right there infront of me and it wouldnt charge so it was obvious it was the port needed replacing. He told me it would be $60. To fix. Was done the same day. Even showed me how device doctor didnt even screw the port in properly . When i got there he only charged me $55. And told me any issues take it back for free. Device doctors is a scam.

Warning to all Islanders: Device Doctors sold me a phone in June that was reported stolen in September. He refuses to refund my purchase. It's in the hands of the police now. Don't trust them! I cannot post zero stars so one will have to do.

Got my iphoneSE screen replaced here and it ended so badly I had to go out and BUY a new cellphone. NO REFUND!!!! They gave my phone back to me and I noticed a white mark that I believed to be a pressure spot from poorly putting the screen on. They said they would change the screen no problem but as I got my phone back ($150+ later) the screen would NOT work. It was glitching and clicking spontaneously across the entire screen and they WOULD NOT fix it. Turns out they gave me a LOW QUALITY aftermarket screen that was extremely overpriced. They told me they couldn’t fix it unless I paid the extra cash for the HD screen. Good luck if you ever decide to go here! You’ll leave with your device most likely not working for much longer after - if ever again.

I talked with apple support for 2 hours and they tried many options to fix my iPhone 7 plus and had no clue how to solve my problem and requested me to send it to apple for repair. Had my iPhone XS Max taken into another local repair shop to fix my camera and not only did they tell me it would cost me over $700 to fix they told me they couldn’t do it because it was too big of a liability and when they tried to repair it they made it even worse! I went to device doctors and told them about my problems with other company and they repaired my camera for under $100!! The experience you get with these guys is unmatched. Highly recommend these guys and only them!

They charged me $390 to replace my phone screen. The screen they put on had dust on the inside of the front facing lens so I can't take selfies anymore. And then the screen started to crack randomly. I would set it down down for an hour and there'd be another one when NOTHING had happened. I contacted them but they don't care. All they will say to you is no cracks of any type are covered by their warranty and you'll be out a lot of money. Don't have screens replaced here.

I dropped of my phone because the earpiece was not working. I was told there was a $35 diagnostic fee which would be waived if I had them repair my phone. After 2 hrs I called to see what the problem was and how much it would cost. I was told it was repaired but I was never called to ask if I wanted to repair the phone.... not sure why but I am glad it is repaired at a reasonable cost. I would still recommend this place.

This place is one of the worst. They call around trying to sell parts and demanding to speak with the manager or owner. When they don't like what you say they leave other well reputed businesses a bad Google review in response. If that's how they treat people they are trying to do business with imagine what they do with your phone? The reviews don't lie here guys, don't fall victim to this classless business.

My husband took my phone to Device Doctors to get the screen checked out in early May. He was met at the counter by this gentleman who asked him to fill out some paper work with contact information description of the phone and problem. He was quoted $129.00 for screen replacement then they placed the phone and paperwork along with the box for the phone in a tray and told him that they would call when it was done. Two weeks later he stopped in and requested an update, they said that there were six of them on the repair table now with the same problem and they would give him a call. We waited another 2 to 3 weeks for a call, so he then returned and talked to another gentleman who had the paperwork in hand and told him that he would have to speak to someone else and they get back to me. They have had the phone for for almost three months with no answer. My husband returned today requesting my phone back and the man stood there and basically called him a liar. He said that they don’t have the phone, there is nothing in their system stating that they ever had it and they don’t recall him ever bringing the phone in. He got understandably upset and demanded the phone. They responded by asking him to leave. There is personal information on that phone so I am getting the police involved. They have either lost or have stolen my phone. Either way anyone taking their devices here for repair are putting their personal information at risk. Please BEWARE!

First of all I do not usually rightreviews but I have to say something I am 61 .grandmother of 6 on disability with 5 different doctors who have my cell number as my contact #. I had a glitch on my credit card (fraudulent purchase)so I went to make manual payment.I was told by Cory when I made payment be good in 10 min...I left...nothing. I called next day about 2 still can't make calls... oh a wrong number went in..????be good to go in about 2 hours...convienient when they close 4. Today I go in...mmm that's weird (he says that a lot) ya it looks like it's stuck and didn't process...really? Wrong number .. stuck be good in hour..take a guess... he tells me call me if not working...really cory...call you on what? I went back and he's walking out the door with a shopping bag walks right by me....sign on the door gone to outside repair back tomorrow. So I ask you...sound professional to you...common courtesy...he can come on here with his I'm sorry for the delay BS . Too late now..my phone is important to me for if I should need to call for help. Keep my 40 $cory..I will take my business somewhere else I can depend on. Oh and the answer is NO you will not be getting any recommendations from me anywhere anytime anyhow.

Great customer service. Koodoo tried to charge me $300 on a phone that was still under warranty. Koodoo said it was my fault that there was water damage. The phone was never near water, they did proceed to offer me $100 toward a new phone. Brought it to Device Doctors, no water damage, fixed the next day for less than $100. Thanks Device Doctors, great service and a great sense of humour.

I came here because my iPhone camera lens was broken. I put off getting it fixed for so long because in my previous experiences of getting my phone fixed at Apple it took forever and was so expensive. I was super surprised at how cheap it was at device doctors and my phone was fixed within an hour or so! They were super kind and helpful people and I am so impressed with their work. I never write bad reviews but this just need to be shared. Gave our 2 laptops for repair at the end of 2020. One needed a new charger and other needed battery. Got both of them paid for around $400. Brought the second laptop back within 15 days as it was not working. They said it needed a new part and this needed to wait. In 2021 we kept calling every week and visited them whenever we had time. They lost our laptop and couldn’t track where it was. They don’t pick calls whatsoever. Whenever we visited they said that they will call us. Went again January 17 2022 and they found the laptop but it wasn’t repaired. We already paid once for repairing the laptop and had to return it to shop within 15 days. And now after more than one year and giving them money; it’s still not repaired. Super annoyed about the horrible customer service! No one apologize for this; not even a sorry! Never again!!

Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER. I needed an exchange done I was within my rights and they would not do it. I left a review and they made things right but when I went into the store the owner gave me a speech as if he was my father and told me to take down the review or he wouldn’t do the exchange. If you want to be lectured at by a bully who calls himself the owner than go ahead do your business there but I’d rather pay full price at Apple than give Cory a dime.

I would highly recommend device doctors. Corey and his staff are amazing! They are very approachable with questions. I have been involved in several occasions where at my phone iPhone 6 did need to repair. This was done in a timely fashion and more Than reasonable cost. I have dropped in on many occasions with questions regarding my iPhone. Always willing to help – Furthermore explain. Never On any occasion was I made to feel That my question was inferior. Was told an easy fix to replace an Apple Watch Screen, but Device Doctors gave us a ton of excuses why they couldnt get around to it. Waited 6mths and then was told $250+ to fix. I replaced my iphone x screen her, and it just doesn't light up after a month. The guy there says the 'physical damage' is not covered by warranty, but I never drop my phone which is weird. I explained to them it's the problem of the screen, they keep saying that it's damaged physically without done any check. DON'T COME TO THIS STORE FOR REPLACING SCREEN!!!!
