Terrible communication, this shop missed multiple deadlines before even setting an appointment with me. Getting a straight answer was a labyrinthine task. I called asking for an estimate to diagnose a failed component on my computer, which they insisted they could help with. I had to speak to 3 different people over the course of 2 days, each of them promising me a callback from someone different "within a few minutes". When I finally got a technician on the line, he glossed over my issues and said I would get another callback the next morning to schedule an appointment. After not receiving a callback by noon, I called head office and was promised he would get back to me immediately. I never heard from the technician again after that. Head office insists they texted him multiple times, and said he would get right back to me. They suggested I call his personal cell (???) to see if I could get a hold of him. When I couldn't reach him, I called back to ask whether they were even interested in repairing my computer. They promised me another callback from a technician "within a few minutes". Avoid the frustration, go somewhere else.

What,an incredible experience! What to say about Mohammed... I've been struggling with my HP computer through their portal and way of doing repairs...which is extremely painful. I was about to give up and did a search for a tech... and lord and behold the wonderful Mohammed showed up! I was having a problem with a computer that refused to reboot. I attempted to contact numerous computer repair shops and was quoted 2to3 days to perform the service. I found Tick Tock online and called, was told that their chief tech Imran would contact me. He called within 15 minutes, we set up an appointment at my home. Imran arrived at the designated time. He had my problem resolved, he updated my system in short order, He was very willing to answer any questions that I had, and also provided me with great advice. Pleasant experience, and won't be going elsewhere in the future. Nothing short of excellent service. 5 stars. Thank you Imran.

My Windows stopped working and I had spent hours on the phone with MS Support and they were unable to provide me with a fix. Finally, I called TickTockTech, after seeing their website, and I am so glad that I did! Imran was at my door within 30 minutes and got to work immediately. He not only solved the issue, but he made sure I understood what he was doing. He also gave me tips as he went along on how to keep my laptop in good working order. October 13, 2020 UPDATING REVIEW So, after posting the above I got a call from a 3rd technician, Imran H) who's apparently worked with TickTockTech for a number of years, offering to help...I was admittedly highly skeptical of yet another technicians idea of how to help. But his approach was aligned with how I thought the service worked and I'm SO GLAD I agreed to let him come. He was flexible with meeting time, including moving it a bit earlier the day of the appointment. He was very professional (and in the world of COVID, followed proper safety protocols) and was able to fix my laptop in 15min. Heavy sigh of relief! Thank you for being attentive to your customers. I was obviously happy with the end result and would use TickTockTech again...although I have to be honest, I'm hoping I don't! At least not soon October 9, 2020 I wanted to try these guys based on the reviews I read, but had a different experience to others who have commented - and there appears to be no way to contact the actual company other than through a google review. A technician called, listened to my explanation of the problem and said it sounded like a dead hard drive. He'd have someone call me to set up a time to come and give a no obligations quote and if acceptable, work would be charged at $22/quarter hour...sounds similar to what the website says Second technician called, listened to the same explanation of the problem (it won't turn on) and said it sounded like a software problem. Said he charges $100 just to come out and then will quote on the work at an undefined labour rate...totally contradicts what the website says This doesn't exactly instill any confidence in capabilities. I'll pass and go elsewhere

My computer has been periodically acting up for months and nothing I tried seem to resolve the issues. I found TickTockTech online, was impressed by the reviews, and spoke with Bob Smith who scheduled the technician, Mohamed Abdalla. They were both friendly and responsive. One thing to be aware of is that the site talks about a free estimate - if you decide not to proceed, you have to pay $45. (This charge is reasonable to me, considering the fact that the technician is travelling to you and spending the time to do the diagnosis, and it's comparable to some other shops that would charge for the diagnosis without the convenience of travel to you! It just needs to be clearer on the website/upfront.) Mohamed was very efficient in his assessment for a quote, and patiently answered all my questions. I needed to finish up some work before I could let my computer go, so he even made a second trip to come pick it up. The turnaround was much faster than I expected, and Mohamed also provided a lot of helpful tips and advice. Now it'll just take some time for me to work with the computer to make sure the issues don't happen anymore, but so far so good! I can definitely see why they have so many good reviews - the service is smooth and the staff are thoughtful and professional. I would highly recommend checking out TickTockTech for any computer problems you have!
