It worked perfectly fine before I took it in. They gave me a free HP laptop battery. So upset. They did fire the careless tech.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! My daughter brought her iPhone with a cracked screen to have the screen replaced. She was using it with the cracked screen for several days with no issue before she took it in. When she got it back it had multiple issues and took it back immediately. They told her in needed a new logic board for $200 and that THEY may have damaged it while repairing screen but was more than likely her fault. WHAT?

Took my PC Lap-Top in on July18th with a problem connecting to the internet. I was told that they were busy so it would be a couple of days before they could do a "diagnostic" on it, and a couple of more days for the repair depending on parts. After I dropped in a couple of times for an progress update, I got it back on Aug 3rd with a very reasonable charge, but they were unable to duplicate the problem. They were friendly and polite, but I wish that they had been truthful about how long it would take to look at it!

Brought in a dead laptop with a possible water issue. They determined that the logic board was damaged beyond repair, so I elected to ship it back home for re-build there. There is a list of mistakes on the re-assembly of my Macbook Pro after their attempting to save it via ultrasonic cleaning. Super prompt service which was appreciated, but after the ultrasonic cleaning, it was re-assembled very poorly; - The board was cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner, but the cleaning solution was not properly removed and the board was not dried. The processor is still wet underneath. That may have damaged the board. We’ll see what happens tomorrow - battery cable was broken - wifi antenna was broken - and a couple other lil’ things too Got photos if anyone cares to see them Sorry to be negative, willing to give your biz another chance if need be...but for now I’m hoping that the tech in Victoria can fix the damage.

They did a perfect repair on a cracked screen on a bent iPhone 6. Also went beyond my expectations by unbending the case (a previous screen repair had just shimmed the screen to compensate for the askew case), as well as cleaning the charge port. Phone looks and works as new. Nice guys, great work. Not inexpensive, but clearly they do better quality work than the cheap guys.

In mid December, I took my Nexus 5 phone to the Repair Factory for both a battery replacement and an operating system rollback. Android 6 .01 (Marshmellow) did now work well on my Nexus 5 as it 'ate' battery life. Jim at the Repair Factory returned my phone to the Android 5 operating system and replaced the battery. Their work was reasonable priced and fast. I am very happy with both the repair done to my phone and having my phone working as it did before upgrading to the new OS. Would recommend this company to those needing fast, reasonable priced computer/phone assistance.

The repair on my iPhone 4 was great. They also sent a follow up email asking if I had experienced any problems since the repair which I thought was good customer service. I did sent a reply citing one tiny issue but they did not email me back again. On the whole, though, I am very pleased with the repair; the phone was in bad shape.

One of the keys on my laptop was not working. Unfortunately I did not get it fixed at The Repair Factory and I was disappointed with the service I received. Firstly, I received an email telling me that TWO MORE keys on my keyboard were not working and I’d need “a new one at this point.” The following email said “Disregard that email, that went to the wrong person.” The third email described that the technical “reseated and shimmed the key” … which was a “fix” of gluing some paperboard to the back of the key that cost me $50 as part of a consultation that told me what I already knew… the key needed replacing. I believe if you are going to do a job, do it right the first time. I will not be returning to The Repair Factory.

Went in to have my charging port cleaned. It only look them about 2 hours. They got the phone to charge but I never could. Tried new cord an adapter etc but no luck. Cost me $35 and they needed a deposit for some reason. The last place that cleaned my port only charged $5, no deposit and she did it within 10min AND it actually worked for me.

The repair factory was a God Send. I had taken my tablet to another business initially. They had it for 2 mths. & informed me it was my battery which was not replaceable. It was stressful as i did not have an extra $300 to replace tablet. A friend introduced me to Jim who works at the repair factory. I took tablet down & it turns out to have been a cord at the value of $23 . Jim was very helpful in helping me out with other problems as well. I think he should get a raise. Had my CPU fail in my phone. It was diagnosed but was told of only a place in New York that could fix it for upwards of $500. Phoned LG, the make of my phone, and they had it fixed in four days for $160 in Canada. For a business dealing with so many phones, I'm a little shocked that they have never heard of this. So anyway, here is some info to pass on to other people with LG products.

I had called as I was looking for Genuine Apple USB-C, the Source in the mall didn't have any and they're an Apple Authorizes reseller. Someone told me I could get one from the Repair Factory. I called spoke with Tony asked if he had a particular power adapter, as I was talking he placed me on hold and didn't address my other questions. He return to the phone call a couple of minutes later and told me they had a 96W USB-C power adapter. I had asked how much it costs and he told me it was 152.00, which I found alarming as Apple sells these power adapters for 94.99. I had asked about the price and he said that the bought them from Apple. He said that either Repair Factory or Apple could provide warranty but he also told me he was a 3rd party company,. I'm not sure why would have to pay almost 50.00 more when you Apple. I ended up ordering my power adapter direct from Apple and not impressed by the price gouging of the Repair Factory.

It seems to me that they care about doing a very good job. The two times my computer has been in their shop, they certainly have. They also follow up on the repairs, which is very helpful. The only bump I've experienced was a lack of clarity about how important speed was on the repair. I ended up waiting way too much time for parts that were not essential, and feeling quite frustrated. That said, they apologized, acknowledged what they could have done better, and demonstrated excellent listening skills when I came to them with my frustration. Thank you :)

Received a quote of $130 to replace the battery on my laptop. When picking up, I was given a bill for $225. The Repair Factory added a $70 labour charge. Labour charges should be included in estimates.

By being careless with backing up hardrive, when it caved I thought photos and other projects were gone.
