I normally fix my computers myself but I was in Thunder Bay for business when the screen hinge on my laptop broke so I thought it would be easier to find a repair store. I'm very happy I went to PC Medic. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They determined what the problem was and confirmed that it would be covered by warranty which they made sure was still in effect. They took pictures of the defect and emailed it to me so that starting my warranty claim would go smoothly. They could have charged me more to fix the problem themselves but instead were honest about the warranty. If I ever need a computer fix I will return here without question! Thanks again for your help!

PC Medic was absolutely amazing. Not only did they have Saturday hours, they were very quick and accommodating They managed to fix the issue and save all data. Problem was fixed for less than $100. All other shops contacted wanted to completely wipe out PC or install new motherboard for $300+. Will definitely be using PC Medic in the future. Thanks for the great service!

Doug and his team were fantastic. They were able to get our Windows 10 device (crashed in a blue screen loop) back up and running in record time while also re-installing some of my most important apps and saving all my data. PC Medic have solved problems for us that should only be done by a professional. We had a memory stick that would not allow us access to our files, and they recovered them. My laptop always ran hot and was really slowing down, and they cleaned it up and gave it a brand new life. They have fixed our other laptop that was giving us issues. I've recently bought a brand new laptop from them, which not only saved me more than $200 dollars, but I know if I have issues or don't understand something, they are there for me. Seriously, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my computer or my personal files. They truly are the best, affordable, and really pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend them to anyone with computer issues.

Do not take your computer here, they will hold it hostage until you pay whatever they decide to charge regardless if they fixed it or not. And be sure to ask if you have all the screws they left out while they were rushing to get it ready for you. Dishonest and shabby.

The personal service, the time they put in to answering my silly questions and explaining to me what is going on with my desktop or laptop computer and that diagnostic fee - yep, deducted OUT OF the final price. Donna Brown is awesome....used to know each other when we were little people and connected on FB. I learnt she had this company PC Medic just after hiring another PC repair group. With Donna's assistance she had me cancel the repair company I hooked up with and get refund....the next day, said repair company tried to withdraw $360 fraudulently from my bank. Donna also reviewed my whole computer and gave me a seal of "NO PROBLEMS". AWESOME job Donna, you've got my business for life!

P. C. Medic has always been available, on very short notice, for either advice by telephone or a call in person to address any problem. This is particularly appreciated by me because although I also use my computer for personal reasons its main use is in researching data and in writing articles. For many years I have been writing a weekly column for our local newspaper so that if my computer develops a problem the day, or the day before I should be submitting it. I am very anxious but they have always come to the rescue. I highly recommend them - for their expertise and their patience and understanding.

Asked for a password to be placed on my laptop and never happened. Was sold a used laptop cord and wasn't told that it couldn't be returned. The cord was broken n I couldn't get my money back. Was given a cord I wasn't happy with in replacement. The brand new power cords are sold for $25 more then Best Buy and same product. I bought a brand new cord for $5 more then the used cord. I don't recommend ever going here.
