Walked in, and walked out with an Ashley sectional couch! Ashley Furniture was $300 more, and we could not buy the one in stock! Would have had to wait up to 3 months for ours to come in! Lounsbury employees did not pressure us and let us look around on our own! Once we decided what we liked a lady came and helped with everything! Paid and backed up to the warehouse door! Gentleman loaded a new packaged sofa and we left! Will definately be back when we need something! Lilly approved

Went to purchase a range; the service was, at best, average with a sales representative who quasi-argued with my spouse with respect to the manner in which to use such an appliance...not impressive in terms of initial contact with customers. In addition, the selection of available appliances onsite as well as forthcoming were inadequate and permitted for few suitable options for any potential purchasers. Finally, we were quoted a price for a particular range (our second choice) which was "significantly higher" than any other comparables in the area and they added a "delivery charge" whereas competitors did not. For all of the foregoing reasons, we will not return to this store until they offer better services to their clientele complemented with better inventory in stock! In any event, very unlikely we will ever return to this business - not recommend!

Said my couch would arrive june 29th when I bought it. Weeks later, they told me August 24th... Covid is no excuse for lying about the availability. Received and had it installed on the 28th. Job well done.

Bought a bed by Springwall and under warranty had to return it, which was approved by Springwall. Received a credit but only for a Springwall product. So bought another style of bed by Springwall, paid more for this mattress. Much too firm and contacted Lounsburys, who said they would pass the message to Springwall, never heard from Springwall although many calls to Lounsburys assured me Springwall would get ahold of me. Finally Lounsburys said they would sent their technician to check the mattress and again, many calls later, but assuring me they would contact me, never did. It's been several months now and no satisfaction. Too bad as I considered this company to live up to its name and longevity in Moncton. Just stating what happened to me, maybe they don't stand up to their warranty for a second bed. Being truthful would have gone a long way instead of me waiting for this person to show up.
Got a very reasonable price on a very good Washing machine. The sales staff were great to work with and the delivery guys were on time, friendly, quick and efficient. Will shop here again when I need major appliances.

Any time I've been in there I had great service salespeople are friendly but not overbearing or pushy. We are building a new house this summer and they will be the first place I stop for new appliances and furniture.

Update: after a very angry customer ( me) .. raised a stink they agreed to not charge me that 20%. So I am putting back my review to a higher level. But be careful during covid ordering things and these kinds of policies they cannot guarantee any kind of delivery time. I just found out that the two couches I ordered won't be here till June but I need them for rentals for April or May so I'm trying to cancel my order and they want to charge me 20%! No way! Trying to get a manager to speak to me and not having any luck so far. this is not my fault the salespeople would not even tell me that it was going to be delayed another few months I just happened to stop by to check on the status of the order and found this out. I received great service from the Sales team, and even better after-sales customer support as I had an issue with one of the pieces received. The issue was with the supplier, but the staff at Lounsbury went above and beyond in finding a solution and ensuring I was a satisfied customer. I have now purchased 3 appliances from lounsbury. Due to my lifestyle I needed a commercial grade heavy duty washer, I was told by sales person that the Huebsch was what I needed. For 2 1/2 months it worked great, then it stopped. It wouldn’t do anything and there was a load of wet clothes stuck inside with the lid locked. After a week and a half a service man finally came out and managed to get the lid open but told me I would need a new control board as the old one was melted and could have burned my house down. He then informed me it would take a really long time to get the part. After 3 days of trying to get ahold of someone at lounsbury I was told it doesn’t take long for the part to come and I would have to wait. We are now going into week 3 my washer is sitting full of scummy water and they are back to not answering my calls. I wonder if they would have better customer service if their commissions were affected. This is beyond frustrating considering I just paid $1500 for a washer and I am washing laundry by hand
I will start this review with my initial purchase of stove, fridge, dishwasher, range hood microwave (all of which were frigidaire professional), bedroom set(which retailed for 10k) front load washer and dryer by Electrolux, and various pictures and accessories. It has now been three years since the products have started being used. During my initial purchase the sales people were absolutely great to deal with and more then willing to accommodate. That all ended once the products were delivered. I have now been using all of the above mentioned products for 3 years. It has been a joke among my family since the items started giving me problems since day one. My mother actually highly recommended lounsburys to me when I was moving into my house. She now feels horrible about it. She contacted the manager this week after my stove exploded and the manager could not have cared less. The manager contacted me this morning and told me, because the warranty was long over there was nothing they could do. She didn't even apologize . She just wanted to get me off the phone. I spent over 20k at lounsburys three years ago and am left with a fridge that has never produced ice or water, a dishwasher that I have spent $400 in repairs on and now has a towel underneath the door to soak up the water leaking from door seal. A stove that is full of ashes and needs replaced. A microwave without a range hood. A bed that has me sleeping on the floor once every couple months. And last but not least, a cloths washer that has a mind of its own. So I am now going to replace all of my broken appliances and NOT purchasing from lounsburys. If the manager was even a bit smart she would have offered me a discount of some sort on new appliances, I may have changed my attitude slightly because of the gesture at least. But she did not. She is horrible at her job! They have now lost a long term customer and I will be informing as many people as possible. I understand that warranty dates are in place for a reason but customer support and marketing should be on there priority list in a very competitive environment . Buyer Beware!

Found what we were looking for
I can not say enough good things about Deanna. We went in a few weeks ago for a new bed for my Dad. She was helpful and knowledgeable. She knew we were looking around at other places but was still super attentive, polite and helpful. Checked out the other places on our list and was underwhelmed with both price, quality and the level of service. Headed back to get the bed he had shortlisted. On the way there, we decided to look at the recliner chairs as well. Again, helpful and knowledgeable but NOT pushy. I felt like she genuinely cared that he got something that worked for him more than making the commission. He got his items a week or so later and the recliner chair leg lift component wasn't working. They sent the repairman and the part was going to be 2 weeks. The next day Deanna called to advise him that because they knew he needed the leg lift to work they were replacing the chair for him so he wouldn't have to wait 2 weeks. We will definitely be back for future purchases (as long as Deanna is there!). Thanks Deanna!

We have been at Lounsbury's a few times these past months. We were served by Sylvie each time we were there. We were also helped by others while in the store. Each of these people were very professional and very helpful. Sylvie is the one who served us the most and I would recommend anyone to go see her. Her patience and her recommendations on products are what makes for excellence customer service.

Lounsbury GM Ken has been a real pro. His sales and installation crews are hopeless and he has to do their jobs as well. He needs a medal. Best I can say is, if they have what you want in the shop, fine buy it and take it home. Forget ordering or delivery, and I can promise that 100% of installation costs are wasted. The installation sagas on several items are too long and tedious. Part comic, mostly embarrassing. If Ed Mc knew half of it, he'd spit nails.

Purchased a couch on July 21st and was told it wouldn’t be in until the middle of September. Called on Sept 10th to find out when the couch was coming in and they said they would return my call. Didn’t get a call back so I called them on Sept. 12th and found out my couch isn’t coming in until the end of October now. No one was even going to call to tell me and now my couch won’t be here for another 6 weeks. Will never be buying from here again.

Recently bought a 3 piece leather livingroom set and a set of end tables. End tables were on sale. When I got the end tables home noticed back of one table was severely damaged. Was not informed of the damage and being on sale does not mean damaged. Could not return them. The leather living room set was not on sale and it was an expensive set. In a corner of the armchair, the leather is worn thru to the backing. The recliner, well the front seam is so crooked it looks like it was just thrown together. Have not found anything wrong with the sofa. I always heard lounsbury was a higher end store so was not expecting this kind of quality. Very disappointed

Waited years to buy a new sofa. Went to lounsburys and found one we liked. The saleswoman showed us the same one that was delivered to someone then brough back to store within a week. The price was discounted by $200. We found out why a week after we bought it. The frame was cracked from poor quality wood uses in frame. Was told they wont do antyhing due to it being discount. Waste of $1200
