Terrible customer service. It took two days to get the diagnostic done on my laptop and another day (after my call to inquire when I might get it back) to have the work completed . Only to get my laptop home and the same problem happened again. They failed to tell me the root of the problem. I was not happy and let the owner know this and in response he became a bit nasty in return. He needs a lesson in customer service!

It all started an year ago when my laptop hdd crashed and they help me by lending the External HDD Reader kit to connect the crashed hdd and recovering my data. And now it has become a heaven for people like me who live in a DIY world !! Each one of the staff are too friendly and helpful. Always recommend and take my word for it !! Jeff's technician Joe Detro came out to the house 2x. The first service call was to install coax and position a location for a modem and router. Joe is a top-notch service technician! On the first service visit, Joe did some preliminary setup on a Netgear Nighthawk AC 1750 router from "Jeff's" (which seemed a bit over-priced at $149). After I installed a Spectrum modem, I was unable to sync the router to the modem. I contacted "Jeff's," and Joe made a 2nd service call (at no charge) and got the issue corrected. Joe's service calls were the best part of doing business with Jeff's Computer Service!

I tend to take negative reviews with a grain of salt and give the business the benefit of the doubt. I will update my review later based on the outcome of the current situation. A WEEK LATER- So things started a little slow and it took me a week to get my computer back. Turns out the motherboard in my old one was no good and needed to be replaced but couldn't due to its age. Fortunately my hard drives were still good and could be transferred into a new machine along with my video card. Jeff took a lot of time to make sure I would be all set up and able to access the programs I rely on like Quickbooks, Microsoft office, and Outlook. This was the second time in about 7 years I had a major catastrophe with my computers. The first time I dealt with another local shop and I must say this was a better experience than the other shop. Jeff got me back up and running and I am satisfied! I would recommend.

Very high price slow service. When I picked up my laptop it was missing the charger. They said I never gave them one when in fact the girl at the front desk said to leave it with them. Then they took for ever to find it only it was not mine. One the rubber strips on the bottom was missing 15 minutes later the tech come out laughing found your strip it was stuck to your charger.

No agenda here at all... I recently bought a D-Link router from them and had a simple question after my purchase. The question was will my D-Link router come through in HD and stream all my devises with no problem... The employees and Geff the owner could not give me a definitive answer... I also informed him that I did my research and found the D-Link N300 (DIR-615) was under $20 on some Amazon links and Amazon on their own had this model router for just $21.40. I paid at geff's $59.plus...! Even if I brought it back, just the gas money in driving distance would eat my costs up so I am stuck with this unit... unless it does NOT work with my HD streaming then I will have to loose MONEY to bring all the way back and then find another one at another store! I am not happy... and some what disgusted with this deal... My advise, do your research on-line and make many calls before buying a router!

Great people! they can fix low range to mid range pc's most likely quite good. But gaming/ mining rigs you may want to try and fix yourself. It generally takes between 2-4 weeks to complete a job and there is a upfront cost of $69 and general a secondary finished cost of around $200. It is defiantly not as cost efficient as fixing a pc by yourself but if you don't have the needed knowledge Jeff's is a great place to get the assurance that your pc will be fixed properly. On the contrary I would not recommend bringing your computer here if you know much about pcs because you will find yourself in the position of having to wait a very long time for someone else to do what you could do yourself. Overall this place is great for the typical person who just has a pc to get work done and knows little to nothing about computers.

I stopped into Jeff's looking for a small part for my computer. Staples didn't have it, Geek Squad wanted to send it away to the manufacturer for weeks. At Jeff's they fixed me up almost instantly free of charge. I'll be back for my next computer issue for sure.

Every time I’ve come in here to ask a question or for a quote they seem like they are trying to get rid of you as fast as possible. I’ve stopped and asked for several things and they never have any of it. Don’t waste your time the guys at microworx in Brighton are awesome! Seriously ended up at microworx the other day and stood there talking with their awesome employees for a hour about computers. I would never bring anything in here again. They need to learn how to talk to people and be friendly.

Awful, Awful, Awful!!! These guys could really stand to learn something about customer service. I needed a part for my laptop and sent the exact model of the laptop to jeff so he could order it. The part was ordered and when it came in, it didn't look right, but I took it home to try and install it. It was the wrong size and none of the screw holes lined up. When I brought it back to the shop, they said that they could order the right one. When I asked if they wanted the wrong one back now or when the new one came in, the lady there pretty rudely said "You can do whatever you want with it, you own it now". Wait... Huh... I asked if you could get a part for laptop xyz... you said yes, and then you ordered the wrong one... Now I have to pay for it?!?! And the new one when it comes in? What if that one is wrong too? Their response was that there are no refunds on anything ordered that you're going to install yourself. BUT YOU ORDERED THE WRONG PART! Anyway, I went to a competitor and actually got the RIGHT part (the first time) cheaper AND got free installation... BONUS. I hate to bash local small business, but my god man... be a little more customer service oriented. I will never be back to this shop and I recommend that anyone reading this that is thinking of going there stays far away as well.

Worst experience ever! When I came in for diagnostics they charged me $70. just to walk in the door. After 10 days, they still had not put my computer "on the bench." When I decided to pick it up, it took ten minutes for them to locate it, only to have them tell me, "it's not done yet..." The folks were very unfriendly, bordering on rude. I wish I had read the reviews before going there, but my computer was down! Most places do not charge for diagnostics. Fortunately, Jeff's is not the only show in the area. You're better off asking your ten year old nephew to trouble shoot your equipment. I would give them no stars, but Google won't let me post without.

It was a long time ago but I took my PC in because certain mouse functions would start doing weird things and some other minor issues. I did as they asked and brought them just what they asked for - just the PC - no monitor, no keyboard, no mouse.) They called me back and told me I had a virus, they'd have to reformat the entire thing and, if I wanted to save my files (of COURSE I do, ton's of photo's, etc.) it'd be $300! I thought that was rather high but when they told me that they'd add a bunch of extra RAM for only $25 more I went with it. Well, well over $300 later I get it back and...it still does the same thing!! It turns out (I mean, really, why didn't I catch this myself?? Duh!) the left mouse button was just intermittent - I JUST NEEDED A NEW MOUSE!!!! Okay, after that it worked pretty well and they added some programs I didn't have before (and still haven't used), but, had I just gone to Wally World and gotten a mouse in the first place I would've been just as well off and saved over $300!

Very unprofessional! I have seen a Jeff's Computer branded car driving on the highway very erratically swerving between lanes and almost causing a accident be tween two other cars. The vehicle in question is a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer in Pacific Blue Metallic the license plate was also registered as handicapped permitted. If they act like they do on the road you definitely don't want to take your computer their.

Jeff's Computer Service is the last place that you want to do business with. Jeff himself is extremely unprofessional. When you try to get answers to a problem he puts you off indefinitely. If he doesn’t like what you are telling him, he literally yells at you. In looking at his invoicing, he inflates his prices on people who don’t know any better and takes advantage of people who are coming to him for help. Stay far far away from him! As much as I hate to say it your better off going to a national chain for your tech support instead of Jeff’s. They may be expensive but at least the national chain is respectful and will not try and take advantage of you!

I took my Dell All In One to have the broken touchscreen replaced on Jan 19th. I paid upfront for the monitor ( slightly under $400) which was coming from China. Nothing to do but wait. They were able to find a monitor in the states & my computer was repaired on Feb 15th but due to time constraints I couldn't pick it up until Feb 16th. I checked the web for screen prices & they seemed to be in line with what Jeff charged I'm very satisfied with the service that Jeff & his staff provided.,

Went to Jeff's because my normal tech guy was out of town, big mistake... 2 and a half weeks to fix a bezel on a laptop and replace a stick of ram. It cost $70 just to do their diagnostic even though I knew what was wrong and stated it when I brought it in, then another 220 to actually fix it. They said they received broken parts for the bezel which extended wait time, previous review seemed to have the same issue, maybe they need new vendors. Poor communication with customers and cost me 1/2 the price of just replacing the laptop.also now Screen has some occasional glitches that it didn't before and my wifi doesn't pick up like it used to on occasion but not gonna bring it there so find out why....and to top it off the replacement bezel was refurbished not even new... At least it fits perfectly and feels reinforced so at least that job was done well so can't complain there, but everything else has kind of left a sour taste.

The problem with my computer was related to the bezel that goes around the screen, the plastic broke along with the hinges. I brought it into the shop and was told it would take approximately two weeks. Two weeks roll by and it's not done but it's no big deal, they told me it would only be a few more days. After their time estimate expired again I called and they said they were waiting on a part. This became the story of my life as I waited for over a month and a half for my computer to be fixed. They claim that it was the fault of the people they ordered the specific part from but in my eyes, it is unacceptable to wait around that long with their thumbs up their asses without trying to find another alternative. What is more frustrating is that they never gave me an update on how things were going, I had to call in several times to get an answer. As a college student who needs his computer to do school work, I would never trust Jeff's with my computer again. When I finally got it back, the repairs were solid but the time frame was outrageous and very frustrating.
