My experience with Corey’s Computing was quick, professional, friendly and efficient. More importantly – they had the cable that I was looking for when nobody else did. I had decided that I wanted to install an aux input in my car. I had a comprehensive video, every tool needed, and all of the parts – except for one. A CD audio cable. It sounded like a simple enough thing, according to the guy in the video, it was something I could pick up from any electronics store. But I can’t find this thing anywhere! Even Google wasn’t helpful (To be fair, I’m really bad at Google. Also, yes I found it on Amazon, but it was like $30 for 500 of them and I’d have to wait 3 months for them to be shipped to Canada.) I checked Best Buy, The Source, Visions, and I emailed every smaller electronic and hobby shops I could think of. Every place I emailed answered me with vague, sometimes condescending replies. I was so frustrated. I wanted to listen to my music in the car! Finally, I came across Corey’s Computing. Their website was easy to navigate and finding contact information was a breeze, even for somebody as internet-deficient as I am. I sent them a long winded email telling my entire story, even a link to the video, and I was even at the point where I wasn’t asking for the cable itself anymore, just asking if maybe they understood what it was for and had something that could replace this thing. I believe I sent basically the same email to a couple of other places, and they still haven’t gotten back to me. Anyway, I received a response the very next business day. It was professional, courteous, and had the exact cable I was looking for!! And they put it aside for me to pick up, without me having to ask. I went by that day after work, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They even explained to me that this cable was something that was used all the time in older computers, and that they used to have boxes and boxes of them. They became obsolete a while ago, (One of the younger employees had never even heard of the cable.) but the staff at Corey’s Computing kept a few – just in case. They charged me $6 for it, and that night I installed my aux input port. I had a great experience with them – next time, I’ll go to them first.

They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the problem is solved and willing to listen to your issues and help whenever possible. well I just wanna say It's been a few years that I have been going to Cory's, It was recommended by a friend I started slow fix this fixing that they were there with a great happy to serve u after a while they were like family,I'd be going for a walk we'd wave if they were out side they'd chat but when I need help they helped Jonel was great I am in a wheel chair and in the winter I needed help but I could not carry my computer to them he went out of his way and picked it up for me repaired all at a great price due to I am low income I find the prices there to be Ok cause i am tight for money so I watch but all always get the help I need, they even let me pay in payments so all the staff is wonderful Tommy , George and Jonel always a welcome when you come in the store Thanks for everything see you next time cory's when I do something wrong on the computer..hahahahaha Oh Ya! love my New computer Deborah Toor .

Got a refurbished computer tower for Christmas this year. Was super excited to use it when I got home. The tower wont even boot up it just beeps 5 times and a red light comes on. This is an error message meaning something inside is broken/not working. Really ruined my Christmas evening. Now I have to tell the person who gave it to me that their present doesn't work and they'll have to somehow find time to bring it back and have them fix it. Super annoying and a total downer.

The staff here helped me save money by fixing my computer instead of getting a new one (I'm not computer savvy at all so this was so very appreciated first off). So I decided to reach out to numerous computer stores around the city, and all in all Corey's Computing was the most responsive and helpful! Other stores (through email communication) either overwhelmed me with information or underwhelmed me or did not respond. I've been having a lot of problems with my laptop for the past couple years and had only recently decided to have it looked at. My laptop, the GX70 from MSI, was a system that had lost all driver support in its short lifespan and became very difficult to use without shutting off by itself. From all the research I had done beforehand, I had figured my situation was a lost cause but it was Corey's to the rescue! Not only did they set me up with an SSD and second stick of RAM to help speed up everything, the staff even took the time to deal with my driver issues and set it up to work as it should with the current version of Windows. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Corey's Computing and have already recommended its services to a friend. I also recommend it to you!

When I had to get a computer for college I was able to find a powerful i7 laptop for $500 while it was on sale. Used as well. Full price would have been around $1000 or $2000 if new. I got an upgrade to it with an SSD and 16GB of RAM. Came out to just under $1200. If you need to save money come here. Good, fast service as well it took a week to upgrade because of shipping, installation took 2 days.

This is why you always, always buy local! I was about to lose my mind trying to find a Composite to HDMI cable, in-store in Winnipeg. The older guy was rude and condescending, I don't know if this was the owner or not. Treated my son and I like we didn't know what we were talking about. We seen something specifically that my son wanted for a certain price on his website so we drove halfway across the city to get it. He kept insisting that he didn't have the part while a younger guy kept telling him it was they had it but older guy just kept talking over him like we were all deaf. Since my son needed this part, we ended up paying double for a part we could've got for half that price. Never went back and never will step foot in his store again. He was our go to store when he was at his previous location but changed after he moved to his new location. Must be the water. Not sure but that is no way to treat any of his customers.

I would like to thank Corey's for the awesome job they did in recovering photo files from a damaged 3tb hard drive. I had tried a few places before going to Corey's but was told there was no possible way they could do it. But George and Jonel took a look at it and within two weeks or so they had retrieved close to 3tb of information and files for me. GREAT WORK!!!!!! Quick to diagnose the issues, professional in providing an explanation and solution. They replaced my failing hard drive with a solid state drive for a very reasonable cost. It’s like brand new! So fast and responsive, I am very relieved and happy that it’s fixed. Best business for computer repairs. Excellent, professional, quick service. Happy I chose Corey’s Computing to diagnose and repair my PC. Very convenient location near our office and based on the many positive reviews, a great business to deal with. I dropped my PC off on a Monday at 1:30pm, received a call from Jonel by 4:00pm same day advising the issue and total cost to complete the repair. I authorized the work and he told me it would be ready at 10:00am on Tuesday. Everything went so smoothly, I would highly recommend this company.

I use Cory's computing for lots of my & my families computer problems and I am happy with their prices and service. They are willing to help with all computer questions and can special order in specific parts a person may want . Their prices for diagnosing computers is excellent and if you compare costs for service between Cory's and lets say Staples or best buy you will see the savings. Now I see some of the reviews and I have something to say about them. To say Cory's is over priced is wrong! Yes you may pay a couple dollars more than in a large multi store company but service cost is much lower. And as a shopper you cant expect a small store to beat prices from large chain stores. Also you don't wait long for service at Cory's and service from large chain stores is normally a week or longer and more$$. I would hope people would like the personal service at Cory's and the speed at which repairs are done. I for one will continue to be a Cory's customer as long as the store or I are around.

I really appreciated the service I received from Corey's Computing this week. I brought my HP laptop in on a Monday and was told I would be contacted on Wednesday. It was not a simple problem that could have been hardware, software or a virus. On Wednesday I was phoned with the solution and after a discussion we agreed on an excellent workaround. The cost was very reasonable and everyone was very professional. I worked for HP for 21 years and really appreciate good service. This was an excellent experience.

I've been in the store about 3 or 4 times... sometimes simply to ask questions and advice. Any purchases I've made so far have been quite inexpensive. But that doesn't discourage the staff from willingly sharing their knowledge or looking further for an answer if they don't have it off the top of their head. That willingness to go the extra mile is becoming more and more important these days when companies seem to be working harder to 'get a sale' rather than 'serve a cusomer'. I had just purchased a new phone, & wasn't equipped with the proper size SIM card. The card got stuck inside the slot, & every other place I went said they couldn't do it. I took it here, and they were able to get it out - not only quickly, but perfectly as well. Now I am able to use my new phone and couldn't be happier with the FANTASTIC service I received from the technicians!
