Please help me it's my daughter's birthday I was going to get her an HDMI cable what will I do now? Does anyone know where I can contact Mr. XS? I had a warranty case and the keyboard of my laptop needed to be replaced. When calling Lenovo, I was told it will take 10 to 17 business days due to COVID-19 if I mail the laptop to Lenovo. When asking for other solutions I was referred to CXS. CXS was very professional, ordered the replacement keyboard which arrived in my case the next day and replaced the keyboard while I was waiting in the shop in no time. The perfect service! Highly recommended!

I went to them because my IPAD wasn't charging anymore. No matter what cords or outlets I used, it just wasn't working. Went to another store and after 3 techs looked at it, they said there was nothing they could do. What an awesome place! I brought my 3+ year old Y50-70 laptop in because it wouldn't turn on anymore. It turns out that a chip died and Lenovo doesn't offer parts for that notebook anymore. After a long wait (6 weeks) and lots of back and forth with Lenovo, they were able to work out an awesome solution. Thanks for the persistence in finally getting a solution. I was thinking I was hosed and would have to purchase a new laptop for $2k+ to replace mine, but luckily they found a much cheaper and better solution. +10 Would recommend to anyone for repairs. Based on the stock in store, I can bet the sales side is just as good. Many thanks for making my year!

If you have a Lenovo on warranty, these guys are great! They are friendly, accommodating, and provide great service. It sucks when something goes wrong with your computer, so think about the post-purchase support when you're buying a brand. CXS has some good customer service if your device does mess itself up.

This is most definitely the place to go to for data recovery. I am a repeat customer and very pleased with the professional service, response time and consistently remarkable results at CXS. I had a 9 1/2 years-old laptop crash in the middle of the boot-up sequence and unable to recover. In a misguided effort to avoid paying for professional data recovery, I created a bootable Windows 10 USB drive and attempted to access the data on my own. Long story short, all data on the hard drive was overwritten when Windows 10 was re-installed by mistake. Business and tax-related documents that have not been backed up were lost, as were multiple important personal documents. In a desperate last effort, I went to CXS... and all data was recovered in less than 48 hours. Besides the obvious lesson on dutifully backing up critical data, I also learned that when it comes to important data, recovery is best left to the professionals. The best example of such professionals is found at CXS. If you 'lose' data, there is still hope: all is not lost until CXS says it is!

Got my refurbished Lenovo laptop here years ago, and am super happy with it. I also recently had an accident where liquid was spilled on it, and it wasnt turning on, even when taking the battery out and plugging it in. As I was out of town, I first had Best Buy take a look at it and they said it would cost me around $500 - $600 to get it fixed. So I took it in to Zafar as soon as I could and was able to get it all fixed for a fraction of the price! Great deal, great service. If I need a new laptop in the future, this is where I'll be getting it from. I highly reccomend!

CSX has been our computer service provider for a number of years now, and we have always been pleased by the quality of their service. Recently we were the victim of an international computer fraud. Zafar and the CSX team were totally helpful in providing anti-virus and re-formatting work. They also assisted by providing us with documentary substantiation of the fraud for recovery purposes. I visited this store a few years back to have my laptop repaired. The repair was fine, no issues there. My problem was that the staff member added himself to my facebook, and retained my personal number on his personal cell phone and messaged me about unrelated topics. The whole thing was super uncomfortable, and I have not been back - nor will I go back.

I went to these guys in November of 2016, was assured that my computer would be ready before x-mas. I ended up picking it up in January, with one arm strapped to body because I had just had shoulder surgery, and now I am still waiting for them to come and move my old drive to the computer and get the fans on the very expensive video card to work. Went here to see if they sold any fan screws for a 200mm fan I have that became useless/not screwable. Most places don't sell them and you can only find them online it seems for about $10.00 with delivery (for 50) screws. The tech gave me the screws for free! Seems like a decent place and had a positive experience for sure.

This has been my go to place for years. They are an authorized Lenovo dealer and repair depot. Prices are fair. Lenovo have been outstanding computers and service here is second to none. I have probably purchased over one hundred computers from them. Lenovo have been super reliable other than repairing or replacing the old mechanical drives which CXS have completed with excellent service.

i bought a levono lap top here about 5 years ago, and it still is a strong work horse. A couple of years ago , i had to replace the screen because i closed the laptop with a pencil in it and cracked the screen. They replaced it with a brighter and sharper screen then the original. Last week i had a panda update and minor tune up. My netflix would not open up and they got it going " no charge" I have had great service over the years!

I went to buy a used thinkpad and my experience with Mr. Zafar was very pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and made recommendations based on my exact needs. He is kind and polite, and addressed all of my concerns. He brought out four different thinkpads, turned them on, and even made some program installations in front of me to make sure that my used thinkpad was going to be exactly what I needed. The repair service and customer service at CXS deserves no stars at all. My computer was having a problem where it would start and run fine, but my screen would be black. On April 16th, I took it into CSX and the manager Zafar said he can repair it. He first charged me $85 upfront as a diagnosis fee. Later that day, he called me and said my LED screen stopped working and needed to be replaced. He said he would order a new screen, and it would come and my computer would be fixed Wednesday (April 20th) at the latest. He quoted me an additional $200+tax for the part and labour. The part didn't come until April 25th. And when it did come, Zafar informed me that the part is defective and it doesn't work. He said he would order another one. I began to suspect that he ordered the wrong part or that its not the screen at all. I decided not to proceed with the repair with CXS. Not only did they not take responsibility, they asked me to pay to compensate them for ordering the screen for me. I took my unfixed computer and left. I moved back to Toronto and took it into a repair shop there. The technician in Toronto figured out that my screen is perfectly fine and it was a wiring problem. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it for me within half a day. CXS and Zafar completely diagnosed the problem wrong. Not only did it waste me $85 for a wrong diagnosis, the customer service in dealing with CSX was horrendous. They were impatient, rude, and unwilling to talk to me honestly about my computer. This experience with them wasted me $85 and 2 weeks without my computer.

Prices are high for used laptops, and the one i purchased was very slow and basically unusable, also the owner is not very friendly and seems to think that most consumers are not educated in technology. Quite frankly I can buy cheaper elsewhere including brand new at Best Buy.

My MacBook Pro had some water damage and therefore couldn’t charge. Took it to Apple store who told me all the specialists were booked and to wait until Monday. Took it to another repair shop nearby on king street who said they wouldn’t be able to get the part shipped until another week etc. CSX was able to diagnose and fix the problem for me promptly (finished it all within 2 hours). I am very appreciative for Zafar and his service as I am a university student and had assignments due that were on my laptop. I would highly recommend CXS for others in similar situations.
