TLDR: PK and the team at SimplyFixIT provide good quality, fast, and professional service at a reasonable price. If you have any issues with your devices do not hesitate to choose them! I had dropped my Google Pixel 4a from a great height. The screen was completely destroyed and frame bent, I was told it was unfixable by several shops and my phone provider. I went to SimplyFixIT in Cabridge (convieniently located on main st) and showed PK my phone, to my surprise he said it can be fixed! In less than 48 hours my phone was back up and running as if nothing had happened to it. The service cost was reasonable, the service professional, and the work was top notch! PK stands by the Lifetime Warranty that comes with all repairs; I had experienced a technical issue and PK took a look and Identified the problem and fixed it at no additional cost. Best place for your laptop repair . i went to apple for a battery replacement in my macbook pro. they wanted to change the complete palmrest including the keypad which otherwise works perfect. they wanted to charge for the replacement that i dont even need. these guys took less then 2 hours to do the replacement for half the cost . Absolute gems... definitely recommend others for their repair needs.

I had the battery replaced on my BlackBerry Key2 today @ SimplyFixIt, Cambridge. This device required numerous recharging throughout the day. From the time I left my home, to stopping at Horton’s for a coffee to arriving @ work, in less than a half hour I would lose 10+% of it’s charge. It was well past time to replace the battery. I had originally approached a competitor who had replaced the battery on my BB PRIV 3+ years before. Even with that new battery, the PRIV would need to be recharged multiple times during the day even with light use, and really, I was no better off. I bought the BB Key2 and which is now over 3 years old. It has served me quite well. I was concerned a similar situation would occur with this device; $ paid out and afterwards be no better off. I called a competitor on Sunday to enquire about battery replacement for this device. I was to receive a call the next day to let me know if a replacement battery could be sourced. Didn’t get a call. I called and got excuses, but a battery for this device couldn’t be sourced from their suppliers. They recommended another repair shop which I contacted. I am still waiting for that repair shop to call to let me know that a replacement battery is available. I am a BB fan. My primary phone is the Key2. Until recently, my backup phone was the BB Q10. Since BB will no longer support their older devices beginning early January 2022, I now use an iPhone 8 as a backup device. Not impressed at all. Hopefully Onward Mobility will get their act together. My work phone is a Samsung. I am even less impressed with it. I contacted SimplyFixIt, Cambridge to enquire. They had a replacement battery. TBH I was skeptical and concerned. When I arrived today, I wanted to be certain that the battery and its specs were for my device. It was. I gave SimplyFixIt, Cambridge a 4 out of 5 rating based on my experience today. I found them to be helpful, responsive, friendly, professional and answering my questions. I am a satisfied customer.

SIMPLY FIX IT IS AWESOME. I had a very damaged Samsung s20 and they managed to not only make the screen work, and as new as ever but gave me a bran new backing. I used to have blue now my phone is black. I have had my boyfriend and friend go here and the customer service is responsive, friendly, and professional. I also picked put a nice new case. I went to the Cambridge location since they had the parts for my phone there. I am beyond happy with my results. It's a bit pricy for the newer Samsung! But very worth my buck! Thanks so much Simply for saving me from living a miserable life with a temporary phone ♡

Very conveniently located on the Main street. Urgent Laptop repair was needed after i accidentally break the screen on my Macbook Air. Walked in to the store during my break. They looked at the laptop and confirmed that they have the screen in stock and repair can be complete the same day. I was surprised. Even Apple take almost a week to do the same repair. Went back to the store after work and the laptop was as good as new. They also did a fan cleanup for me and mention that will improve the performance as the air flow is not restricted any more. I would definitely say that the staff is very knowledgeable and they know what they do. Very transparent and honest in their work. Will definitely recommend to friends and others for any laptop repairs.

Brought my son's iPhone 8 in for what we thought was going to be a easy fix. Simple switch of a broken screen with a large hole from the screen protector being taken off to a new screen. While they switched the screen perfectly and the power would load, the screen wouldn't show visual. They saw some moisturize damage, suggesting that moisture was the problem for no visual. They recommended to send it for repair with their company. 2 wks later the phone looks brand new and works like it's brand new. The cost was affordable and worth every penny. Definitely will highly recommend Simply Fix it.

I have an HP touchscreen laptop that unfortunately was damaged this summer while traveling. The screen was cracked pretty bad. I went to SimplyFixIt for a quote to fix. The tech explained that the glass screen is no longer available to replace, but he could repair the monitor screen to work again (the colours were scrambled on the laptop screen), just without the glass screen. He grabbed another laptop to show me an example of what the repair would look like with the glass off, and explained that the screen would easily scratch and show fingerprints without the glass, but it would look the same otherwise, and if not touched, would work the same, minus the touch screen. He quoted me $200 plus tax and approx 2-3 days. I left the laptop there for the repair. The laptop was picked up today, six days later (which was fine with the holiday weekend, but much later than agreed upon....he said he missed the delivery on Thursday.....) Opened the laptop and the original smashed glass screen was taped onto the laptop still! We asked why it was not removed and the tech working explained that if the glass was removed, the wires for the screen and parts would fall out and be showing!!! He said the glass keeps it all together and in place! This was never discussed! Also, the right hinge of the laptop was broken in half! The tech said it was like that when he got it. It was not! I'm furious about this!!! The original tech we spoke to for the quote apparently is now gone for four weeks, apparently unreachable! I'm left with a laptop that has a smashed screen taped to it, in order to keep the wires in, plus a broken hinge!!! The laptop was in perfect condition when it was dropped off, other than the broken glass on the screen. I used it broken for two weeks, connected to our home monitor! I very well could have taped the screen it myself to avoid glass to falls out, and used my desk monitor. The laptop was in brand new condition! But the store the said they could fix it, and the only concern would be fingerprints and more prone to scratches, and I love the laptop, was disappointed to lose the touch screen, but it was better than nothing. But they damaged it more!! It's full of tape, has a smashed screen.....so I can't see behind it still anyways, and the hinge is broken!! The tech working would not give my husband the laptop so we had to pay for the repair. He took $50 off the price! That wouldnt even pay for the hinge to now be fixed!! I am devastated! I love my laptop and just recently had a brand new hard drive installed. Devastated. How they could demolish it and not just state that it couldn't be fixed is awful!! I reached out to a few other companies today and one explained to me that the HP touchscreen has wiring in behind the screen, so it's almost impossible to replace without going directly through HP. Why Simply Fix It didn't admit that and stop before breaking the laptop more is beyond me!! And then to take any payment for it is absolutely unprofessional!!! Also to claim the hinge was already broken! I'm devastated AND still can't use the laptop without the monitor at home, and paid $170 just to get it back from them! Absolutely insane!! I highly recommend NOT using this company, the Cambridge OR Waterloo location, as one of the techs kept saying he was from the Waterloo store. Awful. I would have left the laptop as it was and continued to use until finding a new laptop with my desktop monitor. I just can't wrap my head around it. The tech offered to talk to the tech in four weeks! What??!!!! After I pay you $170 and the hinge is broken and the screen is still unusable, that's what you're going to offer?? Definitely beware!! Unprofessionals who never should have opened a device belonging to someone else if they didn't know what they were doing! Then refusing give it back without payment! With more damage! Don't risk it, go somewhere else. Photos show the broken hinge and the taped screen. I still need the desk monitor to view. So I paid for damage. Sad.

Asked a few questions and within less than 30mins I had a brand new screen on my iPhone 11. He also included a screen protector which he put on - no bubbles, excellent customer service and job! They repaired it rather than replacing the whole logic board (as another place wanted to do)- which worked out about $200 cheaper.
