Great service and excellent workmanship. The motherboard went in my Dell computer and Dell would not touch it as it was 2 months older then 4 years old and Dell will not service equipment past 4 years I was told. ken sourced out a motherboard in a timely fashion and got it replaced and back up and running. A couple of years ago I needed a new power jack for my laptop. It was an older Sony and I was concerned that parts might not be available. C-Tech did the repair, no problem. Recently, I've been having problems. I took it in and testing showed the problem was the power supply. They ordered a new one, gave me a good price, very friendly service. I'm happy to recommend Kn at C-Tech.

Laptop keyboard failed and as he was close by and has Google ratings i decided to take it there at beginning of September. Told me it would be a week to get the keyboard in, charged me $126 up front and said he would be in touch. Fast forward 2 1/2 weeks later no call.. followed up with him and he claimed it was in Canada and he would call me back in a few days. Fast forward to week 3 and went to the store directly.. Very nice lady at the desk blamed supplier and that they can't trace anything once it leaves.. Sorry but if that's the case you need a better supplier, as that's a weak excuse. Requested a refund as is allowed under Service Alberta rules to which I received. Went to Best buy and they'll have it fixed in a few days, which I may be should have done in the first place.

My desktop would not turn on from the power source and I also needed documents pulled from an old laptop that wouldn't move past the log-in stage. C-Techs provided fast and cost effective solutions for both of my machines. They upgraded the power source to my desktop for free and provided a very reasonable quote for being able to restore my old laptop in addition to extracting the important files. C-Techs offer an efficient, cost friendly and trustworthy service. I'm so happy I found them and would never go anywhere else with any of my computer needs!

I went to C-Tech to identify & fix a weird sound coming from my PC. Ken did identify that my video card was broken and offered to replace it with a "similar video card" - this sounded great to me and I agreed. But I brought my PC home and tried it out but none of my games would work properly. Turns out he had used an inferior video card as the replacement - contrary to what he had told me. I called him and he said it was a mistake and said he had a slightly better video card than the original that we could use. I wondered if my PC was compatible with the slightly better video card and he assured me that it would work. So he installs it and I bring it home and it works great until my PC randomly shuts down and doesn't start again. Turns out this new video card actually isn't compatible with my PC - something he should have tested for before giving it back. He did give me a full refund, but this whole thing was a massive waste of time - what should have been 2 trips to his place (drop off & pick off of my PC) turned into 6 trips simply because he wasn't doing simple checks and tests on his work. I strongly recommend finding someone else to help you with your computer repair needs.

I brought my work laptop into C-Techs because the screen went on it. They fixed it fast at a great rate. They suggested I get a hard drive to back up my QuickBooks and personal files in case a more serious problem occurs. I'm so happy I did that, my laptop is 4 years old and it would suck to loose everything on it. I'd highly recommend C-Techs for any computer services!

C-Techs computer services is a very professional and excellent computer repairing shop. My computer's mouse arrow always moving on screen and running program ramdom without click. I took it to at least 3 computer fixing store incluing 2 well-know and famaus store in Calgary, they charged repairintg fee but not solve my trouble. C-Techs offered amazing service when my computer crashed. Not only did I find Ken very knowlegable, I was very impressed how quickly he assessed the situation. He even personally called me once he opened the computer and let me know exactly what needed to be done, which included a new hard drive and restoring the files and operating system. It was an overnite turnaround and my computer was ready the next day with minimal business disruption. This was by far the best service/ repair experience I have ever had and reasonably priced too! I'm very careful where I send my business, I look for good honest people and that's not what I found here. It's a little run-down shop in the corner of the strip mall. The fellow I spoke with seemed to know what he was talking about but seemed like he had something to hide he wouldn't just give a simple quote. Like: This is how much it is for the parts this is how much it is for the labor and this is what the warranty is. he wanted to be sneaky about it give me roundabout answers and not be straightforward and truthful. Really makes me wonder if the parts he is using are some sort of knock off black market, I'll gotten thing. And that's fine I will take my business to some other small businessmen who values it and we'll be straight up an honest. At least I know that way the chances of the business still being there when I come back are better.

Though I did not technically do business with this store, they did save me a lot of money. I went in a week ago as my computer just decided to stop working, while talking with the man working the front desk, he told me that while he could repair it for cost, it was possible that it may start working again if I were to wait a few days. One week later and it has come back to life. Had the technician not told me that, the store would have better profited but I would have been out money unnecessarily. This move had a lot of integrity, and has guaranteed that should I ever require computer repair services, C-Techs will be getting my business.
