I don't believe the good reviews are even real. Wanted to trade in a Galaxy note 8 for a Ipad mini 4. Lady i talked to who seems to be the only one who works here told me they couldn't take my phone because it would be way above price of the Ipad so i asked her to call her manager to see if i could just have the remainder on in store credit, she called and the manager said yes it was fine. They didn't have the Ipad I wanted in stock so i had to wait till the next day only to find out they "forgot" to pick it up so then had wait and go back another day only to find out that they would only take $280 for my brand new condition galaxy note 8. I simply asked why did you say it was worth more than the Ipad on the phone? and she kept saying i never told you a price like 50 times over getting all upset saying what do you want me to do about it and to go sell on kijiji!! I understand that a price wasn't said but the fact she said it was worth way more than the Ipad and then to show up and them say $280 is a joke. Waste of time customer service rude and makes false claims.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. if you've read any good reviews about this place, ignore them. this place sucks. they had my computer for a whole month, when they said it would only take 1 week. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE FOR REPAIRS, YOU"LL regret it. Found this place off Kijiji and I called them cause I have a Samsung S7 with a broken LCD, need it to be repaired, got a price that sounded appealing to me, little that I know this place is a rip off and all they do is tell lies to get business, told me i'll get my phone back the next day and then they called and said they dont have the color of display the phone needs in stock its gonna take 1 week. Went back and picked up my phone and took my business else where, got a free screen protector from them though! I called many times before and ask if they have the color in stock and the lady said yes!

Brought my Samsung s7 2 and a half weeks ago to have a software issue fixed. Phoned repeatedly, they kept saying a few more days and that it was at the lab being fixed. They couldn't find out what was wrong, that it must be the motherboard and to give them a few more days, and they would call at the beginning of the week when it was repaired. Friday comes along, so I decided to call, as it's now the end of the week. Apparently it was still at the lab and cannot be fixed, therefore i demanded my phone back, and they said I could get it tomorrow. I better not be charged for the phone sitting there for almost 3 weeks with no repairs. Phone is also in perfect condition and no scratches, so will be thoroughly inspected upon pickup. Will definitely warn people of this place in the future. Definitely better to go with a carrier like telus or bell for repairs.

Would give 0 stars if i could. I brought my phone to have a software lockout repaired, Knowing very well that was the only thing needed. I was told it would take 2 days. 3 weeks later after many unanswered calls, i was told they could not fix it. And they tryed to get me to pay for a mother board. DO NOT GO HERE!

These guys are scammers, they are apart of a massive influx of kijiji and facebook marketplace sellers. They are predatory. They are here to rip you off, and are not people id recommend doing business with. These reviews here are all fake, this company should be avoided. Pay the extra money and get a real product from a branded store.

I come last month to fix my iPhone 6s screen, while at the store the screen was not working properly (touch/sliding) so they said if the problem does not go away to replace it free of charge. 2 weeks later called in to schedule a replacement screen. That same night my phone cracked slightly and now the whole screen does not touch or slide. I came in today and was told it will be another 100$. WORST RIP OFF EVER!

They say the phones are "Brand new but the box was opened" is a complete BS. The phones which they say brand new are REFURBISHED. Bought 2 phones not long ago and both started acting up and developing problems. Eventually had to get new phones. $1000 DOWN THE DRAIN!

My Mac was fried in a lightening storm (yes it was plugged into a backup and surge protector), I was worried that all my files were lost (as the time machine was also fried). Smart Tech was able to retrieve my files from my Mac, and I bought a new/used Mac from them as a replacement. I am so so happy with their service and their ability to replace all my stuff!

Buyer beware of bait and switch scam. So our product listed on marketplace call to see if it was still available went to the store to pick up was told it’s a good price because there’s something wrong with it that wasn’t listed in the ad or conversation with called and offered me a more expensive product when I refused and said it was a scam and they offered me free products instead of honouring the original price beware when purchasing or buying anything from these people

I dropped my cellphone and eventually the screen got damaged. I was able to see the phone on my computer tough, it would've charged if connected to a charger and all buttons (but the screen) were functional. I've brought the phone for repairs to this shop and I've been told that they will call me in two days to tell me if something else (besides the screen) is defective. I've never receive a call and after few extra days I called them to inquire and the clerk promised that the phone will be repaired the next day (with a different bezel color though). I said OK and I waited them to call me the next day to pick-up the premised repaired phone. Of course that no one called and after few more days I went to the shop to see what's happening. Again, the clerk promised that the phone will be fixed and returned in couple of days (meantime we've got a long weekend in-between). So after another few days, I went to the shop again to see that the phone wasn't ready yet and receive the already well known promise that it will be fixed the next day. So finally, the next day I went there AGAIN and the phone was there INDEED but not fixed at all and completely dead. The clerk have told me that there is a problem with the motherboard and it the cost for all repairs will be too expensive. When I've argued that the phone was partially functional when I've brought it in, he said that his technician tried to replace the battery (I don't see the reason) and nothing can be done and his shop won't assume any responsibility. So after almost two weeks in 'service' I've ended up with a useless phone and I've lost all the data which I hoped I could save it just by replacing the damaged screen. So my advice for everyone who would like to use this shop for any kind of service, THINK AGAIN. You won't get any warranty for the units which you will bring in for repairs/service and there is a high probability to lose money and not just... As a side note, none of the items exposed for sale has a price tag so if you inquire, it's better to be informed that to just open your wallet

I took my Samsung g7 into this place to hopefully fix it. I was told to call back in a couple of days and a price range to fix it($80-$150). Each time I called them I was told to call back next week or at the end of the week etc. They finally told me after over 2 weeks that it was at the lab and they couldn't fix it . I said I want it back and was told it would be available to pick up the next morning . Unfortunately when i called to pick up i was told the lab sent it by courier and it took another few days before i could pick ut up. When i picked it up they tried to charge me $35! I really thought they had lost my phone and were making excuses, but this is how they do business .

All posistive reviews for this place are fake. I bought a cellphone from here which was broken. They exchanged it for me and i recieved another broken phone. The second time i came in for an exchange it was past the warrenty date, which is convienently only 15 days. Do not shop here

I unfortunately dropped my iPhone 6s and cracked the screen. As they were the closest around me, I dropped by their shop to get my iPhone repaired. I arrived at 3:00PM and half an hour later, I walked out with my iPhone - fully repaired. I've had my phone repaired in the past and by far, these guys are the most reputable. Great customer service and very competitive pricing.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DEVICES HERE! After dealing with this store I'm out $300, and my phone is still broken. If you value your time and money please go elsewhere! - The employees are completely unprofessional, and it will cost you a fortune. - I continuously had to come back to the store as they repeatedly kept pushing back the date that my phone would be repaired by. - In the end I had to purchase a new phone because it was more damaged then to start with. Background: I had broken my glass on my phone but the LCD still worked. It took me two weeks to get me my phone back, and when I got it back it broke within a week. When I brought it back they charged me an additional $150, (it took two weeks to fix) and then the phone broke again within less than two weeks.

I went in there knowing exactly what i needed. I just needed the glass replaced as my digitizer was fine. He insisted that the digitizer be replaced as well and gave me a ridiculous price. I know you can buy the glass itself on amazon for $10 and wanted $100 to replace just the glass. Watch yourself here.

What can I say other than great customer service! My phone screen was completely broken so one of my friends referred me to this location. I was surprised to see such an organized and well maintained tech store. The manager personally came out and was able to fix my phone on the spot and while I waited, he let me choose a case free of charge. The price was reasonable and the repair was clean and so far no problems. Want to thank you again for being very helpful!

I found a product of theirs online and when I messaged them they said it was available and that I could come right away and pick it up. I drove half an hour and when I arrived they told me they sold it even though I just spoke to someone that I was coming to pick it up. They took my number down to call me when the product would be back in stock, stating “early next week”. I called multiple times in the next couple weeks, they just kept saying “maybe next week”. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t received a call so either they lied or never called me when the product was back in. Complete waste of my time and no effort on their part.
