Over the past few years we purchased most of our furniture from Leon's. Our past experience has always been positive, however that opinion is now changing. In September of last year we purchased a fridge, paid for it in full with warranty and delivery and still have not received it. We have been told on several different occasions that it was on it's way, however at this point I'm not sure if it was sold to someone else or if it is still in transit. Maybe in future full payment should not be expected if a product can not be delivered on time or within a reasonable amount of time..

Not impressed. We were told it could take up to 18 weeks to get a couch so we wanted to but a floor model. The blonde saleslady at first said that was impossible but slipped away at some point to ask her manager. She came back and said you can still get the 23% discount that's advertised but .....dont ask for anymore cause the manager is already doing you a favor. He's not making any money on this deal. Okayyyy, first off...we weren't looking for favors....we have money. Secondly, Im sure your boss doesn't work for free so don't insult my intelligence. Thirdly, I was extremely happy with your competition ( The Brick) where we bought a couch, a sofabed, a coffee table and a picture with the help of a sales lady any business owner would be proud of...go Shelley!
Show room furniture is not for sale. Delivery dates 2 to 3+ months. Had a good in person chat with rep Jan Murphy. He explained all the difficulties with manufacturers given the times. Decided the continue with our purchase. Thankyou Jan for your generous time and consideration.

Friendly staff but sadly were pretty bare in the power reclining living room sets. Drove in for customer appreciation but had to leave emptyhanded. Could take a year or more.to get one in we can only order by photo. :(

Great service, both over the phone with the local Leon's staff during the ordering process and with the delivery service. Came right in the time window, put the mattresses in place and took the wrap with them.
Disappointing. Two sales people hiding behind the raised sales desk, one on the floor on his cell phone, one actually assisting a customer. We were in the store for 20 minutes checking out the limited low quality dinning tables, with out a single sales associate approaching us. Weather in Barrie or here in Brockville at the new location the customer service is poor. Sales associates just can't be bothered.
I was looking for a power recliner that had been advertised online. I was planning on purchasing two, one for my wife and one for myself. Cheryl K was very helpful. That particular model wasn't in stock but Cheryl was able to order them for us. She explained the delivery times and we don't mind waiting. The price of the chairs had been reduced and we took advantage of the pay no tax event to save even more. I used part of the savings to purchase extended warranties so the chairs are covered for pretty much everything for 5 years. An enjoyable no-nonsense experience. I'd definitely go there again. I was unable to place an order online so I was told to call the store. Once I did and was almost ready to finally... place an order only to have them tell me they don't accept VISA DEBIT? Leons has proven to be a massive disappointment. I'll never recommend or purchase anything from them in the future. Extremely unhelpful. I manage a very busy store and we obviously have ways to process a VISA DEBIT over the phone. It may be time to update your systems. The response to my review is not helpful. I've ordered from the Brick as they accept VISA debit and their website was also very easy to use. Leons website won't allow you to place any orders online. You're forced to call and then you can't place an order anyways so what's the point? Ridiculous.
Locally, it's probably the better choice for all your furnishings for your home.
Since Josh took over he has been excellent to work with he got things done that we have been waiting for he will go out if his way for this customers... thank you for all you did for us.

Not impressed i got my crib here they sent it to Kingston first then they sent it back to Brockville and to my place it got damaged not happy at all they do have good prices though

Horrible experience with Leon. Purchased a washer two months ago, and supposed to receive it in 6 weeks. But, I still have not received it after 8 weeks. Every time, I call the shop, they told me I need to wait another two-three weeks. The shop can not deliver the product to the customer and keep on giving excuses.
Staff was great, very accommodating. Delivery guys were wonderful as well, they were polite, cautious and followed all covid-19 protocols.

This store needs some serious help with customer service! My daughter and I visited the store back in July and purchased both furniture and a full set of appliances totaling approximately $6,000, and we are still awaiting the delivery of the fridge! The appliance delivery took over a month, and we only received 2 out of the 3 ordered. We are now waiting over 2 months for the fridge! There has been no contact from our sales representative on the status of the delivery and why it has taken so long (which should be part of their customer service, if there is a delay longer than communicated). All calls to inquire on the status have been initiated by us numerous times to follow-up in a professional and understanding manner, and each time we were given various reasons to the delay and told that they would call us back and it will be forth coming, which again has not happened to date and had to initiate the call again! Our patience is warring thin and wonder if a change in demeanor may get better results?! It amazes me that in this day an time with all the technology and available avenues to contact customers that a company of this size has staff that seem to disregard the importance of customer service. Each time we have spoken to one of the staff they seem to be unaware of the situation regardless of how many times we have called to find out about the expected delivery. In my experience when a customer has been waiting this long for a delivery, everyone in the office should be aware an on top of it to get it resolve, especially the Manager or the Sales Representative that was part of the Sale. The total lack of Integrity is very disheartening. I do not recommend buying here unless you are willing to do all the leg work in getting the service that you expect. Very Disappointed and still waiting!
I bought a bed and taking it out of the boxes at home I found that the foot board was badly broken. Looked like someone had stepped on the box at some point. It also looked very cheaply made so I tried to return it. Was told there is a 50% restocking fee. Couldn't find anything that would mention this Pre-purchase. However it is on the back of the bill, something you don't get to read until after they have your money.
They do not have products in stock ever. I have had a few issues: 1st time we just purchased a house and needed a coffee table I was told 2 weeks. 3 weeks later they didn’t have the item and told me I could have the floor model because I was desperate for a table. 2nd time I ordered 2 beds. Was told 2-4 weeks. We waited 6 weeks and they could still not tell me when the item I already paid for would be in. The manager was not helpful and basically said it wasn’t his fault but could offer no help as to finding out when the items would actually be arriving.
I went to this store on Dec. 13th to purchase a bed which I explained that I needed for guests prior to Christmas. Staff said it was in stock at the Kingston store, so I paid for the bed. Free delivery was supposed to be included but they said they could not deliver until after Christmas. I agreed to pick the bed up myself. They said they would have it transferred from the Kingston store for Fri. Dec 20th. On Dec. 20th, the bed was not there. They said the earliest they would be able to get it would be Monday, the 23rd. This was not the agreement! To me, Leon's is now synonymous with unreliability and disappointment.

Placed an order online for new appliances. One was special order...josh used his own vehicle on a sunday to bring the laundry appliances to my house after another rep cancelled my delivery without notice. Hats off to Josh and his amazing customer service!!!
Will Not Exchange Ordered a gas cook top and it did not fit for our application, wanted to exchange the unit for one that did fit as per TSSA code and they would not exchange. Was told would have to order a new one due to it being a special order. No where on my receipt did it state this was a special order. How can Leons sell code non-compliant appliances to its customers. I find it hard to believe that the appliance company produced just one of these units just for me. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHAMEFUL. Manager even went as far as giving me the wrong phone for the Leons Headquarters.
Ordered a brand new couch, service was fast officiant and an amazing experince. Didn't feel pressured or rushed, sales person was excellent to work with. Delivery drivers were amazing as well!

Purchased a range and washing machine June 27, 2019. I told them I needed them by Aug 5 as I was expecting family from Alberta and needed these machines and was told no problem. Received appliances mid September and they substituted the washer I wanted for another companies machine. I hate this washer from Samsung. It is noisy, doesn't spin well so clothes take longer to dry. It has other issues I won't go into here but I doubt it will last 3 years before needing to be replaced. They offered me the difference in the machines price of $50.00 plus tax and another $50.00 for inconvenience neither of which I have received as of Nov 27, 2019. They told me the company whose machine I wanted had been sold and the new owners had stopped all contracts so they couldn't supply me the machine I had ordered. Funny how that machine has been in every flyer since September though. Unfortunately I couldn't give less than one star as the app required at least one. UPDATED Jan 13, 2020: Leons gave me $56.50 refund in December 2019 but refused the other $50.00 claiming they never would promise an amount for inconvenience. Currently considering contacting BBB or perhaps even small claims legal action. I hate that they lied to me repeatedly and then supply me with a machine that all the lists I referenced claim that the LG I wanted out sells the Samsung 10 to 1. Samsung is listed at 4 or 5 in reliability, customer satisfaction and, according to repair companies, is almost impossible to get replacement parts for and need repair more often that other brands. LG was always on top of these lists so is the better machine. Shame on Leon's for the deceptions.

I had ordered furniture in August. Knew exactly what I wanted. Sales rep did zero work. Order and delivery messed up beyond belief. I went in to the store to cancel the entire order and get a refund 1 month later in September. Spoke to Care, a manager there. She was amazing!!!! Because of her I did not cancel and ordered another piece of furniture! She is amazing. Other staff members came to meet me and offer tips for moving to a small town. So incredible!!!
If I had wrote this review before this week this would of been a 1 star but thanks to Mark, I think that was his name, digging into an order for us that our daughter placed for us. He went above and beyond to work with me and resolve the issues. Thank you for helping us during a difficult time.
in spite of ongoing delays attributed to a new computer system, I picked up the bed more than 2 weeks after it was waiting in the warehouse.They did promise to make it right and, in the end it was found to be included in a current 50% off sale. The product is of good quality and will give my visiting grandkids a secure place to sleep..

Leon's Brockville went above and beyond for my parents. My parents needed a bed badly and Reyanne went out of her way to make sure that not only did they find something comfortable but it was in stock. And even when they called back with questions the store manger Mark took time to speak to us and answer all questions about delivery and removal. Thank you Leon's for helping my parents.

A huge thank you to Tracy H. at Leon's in Brockville!!! Our washing machine needed to be replaced. I searched online, and found a lot of machines were special order and it would be two to four months, which I understand. After speaking with Tracy she recommended a washer that was on sale. The washer was delivered within four days, it's hooked up, we've put two loads through and couldn't be happier and relieved we will not need to wait. Thank you for your help, advice and making our purchase so easy.

While the start of this review would be that of “horrible run around”, I have to say the new manager Josh definitely made a huge change on my review. If you had asked me up to a week ago, I would have given 1 star. Long and short, over the last 4 months my husband and I have ordered a bed, sofa, desk, bookcase, filing cabinet & 2 chairs specifically from Brockville. The bed arrive broken and the desk and components went on sale the week after purchasing them. I went in about the sale price and they said they would give me a refund for the new price and $50 for the bed frame. I was told to come back in a week and everything would be ready. A few visits to the store in person and a few phone calls, nothing and more come back in a little. In the end on the weekend I got a call stating they had a $22.00 refund. I was not happy and told them. 10 minutes later Josh called. We talked it over and he was more than happy to provide the real refund or double the refund value with gift certificates. Josh really wanted to make it right and has a mission to help turn this location around. Thank you for listening and thank you so much for being so quick to act on the refund. We did have a few laughs in the end and he was extremely professional. He truly is what the store needs! Thanks Josh!
Tracy Haarbosch from Leon's Furniture in Brockville deserves not 5 but 7 stars: 5 five stars for excellent customer service, an additional star for dedicated attention to our personal needs and another star for handling our stress during these Covid-19 times. From the day we walked in the shop to ask about the dining table that we had seen online, she took charge of us, gave us a few other options, and was fully dedicated to assist us, as if we were long time customers while we were new to Brockville. Indeed, we have met many friendly people in Brockville, and Tracy is on top of the list. It was therefore logical that we went back to her when we needed to buy a sofa set. She excelled in the same way and again and exceeded our expectations. Professionalism, honesty, warmth, humanity, dedication, enthusiasm, positive energy: those are some of the many attributes we found in Tracy. Because of her, we will be happy to return shopping to Leon's. In the meantime, all our furniture has been delivered and we are enjoying it.
Needed a twin mattress for extra company and manager said there was only one in the store and it was on the floor, I said I would take it, they loaded it in my truck, when we got home 2 minutes from store we noticed the whole side of the mattress was not stiched right and you could see springs, manager said no returns due to health issues, Rooke 3 trips to Kingston to get resolved, they were horrible to deal with, even Kingston store was not very concerned or sympathetic, never buy there again
NEVER EVER ORDER FROM LEONS! waited 5 months for my t.v before covid from the location in Kingston. gave them a second chance and ordered a stove from them online which was sent to the Brockville location last July. gave it about 2 months even though it said 2-3 weeks. was told I'm 7th out of 22 orders. called next month. told I'm next to get one. called in January told there was never a line and that they have just been waiting for it. called once a month after and got a new excuse every time! was told its covid, its lg's fault, and their not making special orders right now. I was told each time by the manager they would look into it and call me within two days. THEY LITERALLY NEVER CALLED ME BACK ONCE! NOT ONE TIME!!!! meanwhile everywhere else has it in stock. I was then told they buy it from a purchaser who buys it from lg. after 9 MONTHS! i finally had enough! I called Canadian appliance source last Friday. they gave me 55$ off even though they were already the cheapest and I now got my new stove in today! only 5 days after ordering!!!! never ever buying from leons again!!! they should pay me interest for keeping my money so long!

We bought a sofa and loveseat on July 26th and they said it was a wait of 12/14 weeks it is now 23 weeks and still nothing. Called the store 3 times and finally spoke to Josh. He looked into it said our furniture would be delivered on Wednesday.

Very pushy here, like literally cannot get a full stride throughol the door before you are accosted by high pressure sales. They liteally creep around behind you if you're trying to browse which makes a very uncomfortable shopping experience. We did purchase a mattress here when we first moved last year, and the delivery service was excellent.

LEON'S FURNITURE IN BROCKVILLE- **BEWARE-TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY** Worse return policy in the industry...50% restocking fee on furniture, even though I picked it up and would be returning the chair unused. Over the phone the salesman should have advised me that all sales are final, instead it feels like a gotcha moment. The General Manager of the store tried but was of no real help since all he could do was restate the stores terrible return policy. When buying something online or over the phone without having seen it in person, a 5 or 10% restocking fee would be reasonable. In the future I'll be sticking with Amazon, Cosco, The Bay ect, businesses that value repeat business. How Leon's stays in business in this hyper competitive market with these type of policies is a mystery but if they don't change they will go the way of Target an Sears.

Needed a dining table fast! Cheryl sold me a floor model table, discounted all in one day. I went to pick it up and Josh disassembled the table so it would fit and then helped load it up. It was not a quick or easy job for him but he did it with a smile. Lovely folks here! I have also ordered a couch with the help of Jason and am waiting for it's arrival in the next few weeks.

Purchased (paid in full) 1 love seat and 2 arm chairs on Oct 21st 2019. Did not receive our order until Feb 12th 2020. the 2 chairs were slightly mismatched. Two thumbs down!!!!

We purchased a bed in November and was very specific stating it was needed by December 15.I was assured I would have the bed or they would give me another by then but 10 were arriving the next week. December 15th...no bed and I was told that I could drive to another town and get the bed from the warehouse myself. I decided I wanted my money back. Told it would have to be a cheque as they couldn't do a reversal on the debit card. It would be in the store in 3 or 4 days. Two weeks later still no cheque.After complaining the cheque shows up in the wrong name so now we wait for another 2weeks?

He not only saw it through to complete resolution, he was in daily contact with us and guided us through the resolution process. Bought a living room set and an upright freezer from Leons in July 2021, couch and chair were delivered on time but 2 months later still didn't see the freezer or my ottoman. Another month went by still nothing. So I went into the store and ask if I could cancel the freezer and get a recliner instead. Freezer was 759.00 and the chair I bought was 649. But they never refund the difference to me After several calls to leons and a few in person trips to seek my refund still nothing. Couple weeks later someone called me and said the price on the web site and the price on the chair I bought was marked wrong. REALLY . I will never buy from them again. Their customer service sucks.
Absolute dumpster fire of an experience. Still waiting for our stove that we bought in October. They do not return our calls and the corporate customer service refuses to help even check the status of our order. We've been stuck using a toaster oven for the last 4 months because of this terrible company, can't even cancel our order and get our money back to buy one somewhere else. Worthless company, worthless franchise, useless employees. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Edit: they've finally replied after this review, I will take it down wherever we get our stove

We recently moved to Brockville from Burlington. We ordered 4 appliances from the Burlington store and they were to transfer the sale to the Brockville store...pretty simple! Nope..The order was never placed nor sent to Brockville despite us having paid for the appliances. Josh of the Leons Brockville store picked up the ball and got us the honest answers we needed and were unable to get elsewhere. Even though we inevitably had to buy elsewhere, Josh handled the situation very professionally and chased down our refund successfully.
Just moved into my new home that I purchased for myself and my 2 children. Life already being crazy and the stress of moving, I couldn’t deal with any obstacles. Well, turns out my newly purchased home is old and doesn’t allow my queen size box spring to go upstairs. URGH!! Cutting it wasn’t an option because of the metal coils so having to purchase a split queen size box springs was my only option. Thank-You to Jason Allard for going out of his way, on a Saturday during Covid Crazy to insure I had a box spring that evening for well a deserved rest. I have future plans of dealing with him again. I waited almost 8 weeks for my mattress/boxspring and protector. I gave 5 stars because of the folks at Brockville Leon's. When I ended up frustrated with no answers Tegan from the brockville location stepped up and went to the manager and asked what they could do for me. The manager upgraded my mattress protector (which was the cause of the delay in the first place) at no extra charge and had my purchase delivered within a week. The delivery guys were polite and courteous, gave me advice to wash the protector before using and wished me well on their way out. Over all I would order from this location again.

We ordered a fridge through Leon’s Brockville, it originally wasn’t supposed to arrive until January, it arrived over a month early!! The delivery date was meant for December 30, with the pending lockdown, we called to see if we could get it any earlier seeing how our old fridge is on the fritz, and we were worried about the removal of our old fridge. They found a way to have it on their December 23rd delivery, Before Christmas and before the lockdown. They went over and beyond with their customer service, and making us feel very important. Way to go!!! great job!!
Possible to leave a zero star review? In store, ordered a bunk bed set on a Friday night. Was told they would call or email when it was in. Got an email the following Wednesday stating that it was in and could pick it up any time. Went in to the store Friday night (1wk after order), was told it was not in and would be in the following week. Requested a refund on the deposit (debit) and was told they cannot issue a debit refund and that a cheque could be picked up or mailed. The manager was not accommodating and repeated the same info, stating that the employee did not inform anyone else that the item was in. Of course, because the item was not in but I was told that it was. Wasted a drive from out of town. Was then told that I could go pick it up in Kingston, another drive, or wait another 3 days (with no guarantee that it would actually be in). How a big company like this is no disorganized and cannot issue debit refunds in 2020 is beyond me. Would advise going to The Brick or literally anywhere else.
