Honestly, I wasnt thrilled about my first experience with Compu-Silv. Customer service was okay... When I called to see if my part had arrived the "supplier" had shipped the wrong model. Rep blamed the supplier and immediately gave me the option of a refund... I dont want a refund! I want my part?! Anyway... Don't care who's fault it was but I wasnt impressed that no one called me to say "Hey, dont waste your time, we dont have it." I live 30 minutes away from the store. Would've been a long ride home empty handed had I not called ahead of time. I dunno... there prices are comparable to online sources but my very first experience was sour. I'll probably buy from them again but only if the price is right.

Mixed feelings with my most recent appointment with Compu Silv. I have been going to them for years too clean/wipe my computer and never had any issues until now. First, i brought my PC in the other day and they gave it back still FILTHY on the inside, the bottom vents were still caked with dust so much that it was all over me by the time i put it in the car, it was like they just blasted all the dust inside into the bottom vents and left it there. Then they informed me that i needed to reinstall my OS to fix my pc and that it would be from 99 - 139 dollars for a new copy of windows 10 if i could not find my own windows key. I told them i would get my brother to reinstall windows 7 because he was the one who helped me build the pc and likely had my key. Reinstalling windows 7 did NOT get my pc out of my crash loop so i decided i would just buy windows 10 as they advised. I went in to buy windows 10 and they tried to charge me 270.... almost DOUBLE what they told me it would cost me. Overall not too happy about their performance, nothing got fixed, and i got mislead, waste of money.

CompuSilv and staff are very knowledgeable. I buy from Adam and Staff as often as I can there prices are fair and competitive with BB Stores. Service stellar and I always get a reply to my emails, order a part today with zero dollars down and it arrives the next day. As our business has grown, Compu-Silv has been at every turn to offer systems, solutions, support, repairs, etc. They resell commercial services for large providers like MS Exchange, and others, which truly makes them a one-stop shop for everything from our laptops to our email services. Purchased an expensive extended laptop warranty, when I had a problem I was charged $50 for 'diagnostics'. They didnt do any diagnostics, I turned it on - the screen had lines in it. They sent it to Acer or so they say. Then they said the $50 was to fill out paperwork which they never mentionned when I brought the laptop in. Bought a desktop here also, not happy with it either. We're done shopping or servicing there, dishonest people

We have been dealing with Compusilv for about 12 yrs now.Always been extremely happy with Adam and his staff. Adam is very honest and will not tell you to buy new if a repair is worth it .I know because it happened to me,plus a friend i recommended to Adam was going to buy a new laptop because he thought his was not worth fixing.After telling Adam about it he was told it can be repaired for a small amount compared to the price of a new one.Now does that sound like someone dishonest? Adam's computers and service are the best you will ever get. My family as well as us will not go anywhere else. If you want honesty,staff that knows what they are telling you,then you should go to Compusilv.

The place is a joke !! Don't shop there. The second u leave and they have your money . You'll never get it back or a replacement. Even if they burned it themselves. An u try to take it back . It's a never ending river of lies . I have call Better business Bureau . Filed a complaint. And speaking with a small claims court lawyer. As I'm saying this . Ever the lawyer said : The business has an amazing front, store looks great . But be hide the lines , where only the employees can go . Lies, decent an a business plan. Designed to take all your money and absolutely no credibility or respect . Hope u all read and take this in to consideration.

I don't usually review but people should be aware. Avoid this place is possible, they do not care about you or your stuff. Only after learning the hard way do I hear about all the other stories that have been covered up. This place practically runs on scams. It blows my mind they have managed to hold any positive reputation in Brockville. But I guess that's possible when the people don't know they are being taken advantage of. My recommendation is for anyone looking for honest work is try Tech Tutors, or a few Google searches. Save yourself the let down and money wasted. This place having over a 4 star rating is all smoke and mirrors, just a bunch of plugs from friends to prop it up. Such a joke.

Small shop. Pretty well the only one worth going to in town but their technology bias to Intel products hampers their ability to service some users. Their pricing is a bit high in my opinion but the smaller guys need to make money too so I get it.
