Came in wondering if they had any motherboard standoffs for sale, and the lady at the front let me look through a small bin of miscellaneous screws for one. Found one and she said to take it free of charge! Will definitely come back if I'm having computer issues!

I brought my computer in as it was running really slowly. The next day they call to tell me that my hard drive is shot and I need a new one. Plus they offered a data recovery service to save my files on my now non-functioning computer. This was weird as my computer was functioning literally 20 mins before I had brought my computer in, just slowly. Now they tell me they can't turn it on. So I went in person and sure enough it didn't work ( it turned on but then promptly crashed). I'm definitely no wiz on computers but even I was able to put it in safe mode, insert my flash drive and retrieve my files. They were still insistent that my hard drive was shot. 'Bad luck' he called it. So at this point I went somewhere else and got my hard drive analyzed by a friend who fixes computers (he lives in New West that's why I figured I would use Vastech instead) and my hard drive was working fine. All i had was a virus and just had to reinstall windows (free). NOT: getting a new hard drive ($40), using Vastech's data recovery ($35) and labor costs which would have had me spending over $100. So either they were dishonest, didn't care enough to fix the real issue or inept. I used to come here about twice a year to get my computer 'cleaned up' but won't be coming back anymore.

I agree. Good prices and honest. Vendors in this space tend to sell anything they can, but I find the sales people here are willing to discover your daily computing needs and sell equip that fits. I've been buying my computers and notebooks from Vastech for about 12 years now. Nice people. I highly recommend them.

Friendly, fast and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better laptop repair shop after our hard drive crashed. Restored all the data and my faith in humanity. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend, decent collection of accessories too.

Wonderful owners from Taiwan. I had a HP laptop with a broken screen and I had to get it fixed quickly. After searching 6 different stores in Vancouver, the owner at Vastech promised me that they can do it in 2 days. They rushed order the screen on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday. Seamless process. Installed in 35 minutes. Thank you so much for all your help; I was able to make it back on time for my flight. I highly recommend this place for any of your IT needs. They WILL get it done QUICKLY and at a reasonable cost.

I went shopping along Main St to buy a micro usb adapter, and found great quality ones that look nice for only $6.50 after tax, here at Vastech. Anyplace else I went was selling them for $22 to $30 each. Vatech is my go to for computer parts that I need, adapters, cables, etc.
