He is low key, honest, totally service committed, good humoured {he has to be to put up with me} and so fast to respond, on the phone, in person and is fulfilling any undertaking he makes about fixing things for me. I have been going here for a few years now. Craig is awesome. Knowledgable, friendly, hard working, and reasonable. He has helped me with all of my desktops and laptops, as well as he is the go to guy for the rest of my family. Frankly I don't think he charges enough with the amount of work he does. One of my laptops had a unique issue that caused it to not start up every time it updated. I fought with it for several months. He worked on it for several days giving me updates over the phone, working on it even in his off time. He fixed the issue and its been working great for the past year now, and he charged me under $100 saving me from having to buy another laptop. He gives you a very detailed run down of what exactly went wrong, how he fixed it, and gives recommendations for preventing it. I honestly can't give him enough of a recommendation. Very professional with every interaction I have had with him.

Called up Craig about fixing a really obscure cable for my telescope mount. He said he knew who could take care of it, dropped my cable off and it was repaired and working better than ever the next day!! Dave in the back is an absolute wizard, just bring him coffee and he will turn your trash to treasure. I have never found a computer repair service before which offers such kind and friendly service. They really care about their customers, are as fast as possible, and reasonably priced. As another person mentioned, they never treat you like an ignorant idiot, and they make sure you understand what is going on. My Dell XPS Laptop stopped working. I took to one repair shop...must be mother board, no fix $55 charge. another shop said can't be fixed $20 charge. Took to R-U Computing. Dave there found the problem when he took back off.Fixed it and cleaned fan also. Put it back together and it works great $40. Need I say more. Thanks Dave your a pro.

TLDR: Affordable, honest, friendly service and an A+ experience all around :). After formatting my hard drive, and finding that I'd lost my Windows disks, I was stuck in a bind and decided to take my computer down to R-U computing. Walking through the door, I was greeted with a very clean, professional shop, and a warm, friendly greeting from the lady behind the counter. After passing my computer over (without a necessary deposit) I was told my computer would be fixed as soon as possible. They kept me up to date with the progress of the computer, and although they spent hours trying to get my fussy hard drive to work, not once did they attempt to upsell me or charge me extra for the extra effort put in. Very soon after, I was able to pick up my repaired computer for $95, and feel like I got MUCH more service than that amount warrants. Thank you SO MUCH for your honest, hardworking approach. I will be passing the word onto Family and Friends. and hope this business stays busy for MUCH longer than the ripoff big box stores!!

Yes, Craig at R-U Computing is an expert, and yes, turnaround time for repairs is fast and prices are reasonable. but even more importantly, he’s a good man, ethical and trustworthy. Last week while I was there for help with some back-up issues – he’s so knowledgeable and always willing to share - a couple came in to pick up their computer, so I stepped aside. I already knew firsthand how unselfishly helpful he is, but I was newly astonished by his dedication to their peace of mind and that they thoroughly understood what to do in the future.
