This is my favorite computer component shop! Great prices, they have everything in stock, and the customer service is amazing! I totally recommend these guys. They just turned my year old lagging laptop into a beast in a couple of hours. Totally reasonable prices too. Way better than the big box guys, WAY BETTER!

Went in cause laptop broke down. They’re quite professional and did not try to sell me more service I don’t need. When I inquire about how much does it cost to reinstall Ubuntu on the not functioning laptop. They pointed out that I should have the ability to do it myself by formatting the hard drive and suggest me to do it first then go back to them if I can’t do. Unlike many other stores which would try to do more things for you and sell you as many services as possible. They focus on what I really needed. I believe that’s the most important in running a business. Not by selling the most you could to the customers but rather what the customers reallly needed based on the customers knowledge and skills. I would make them my go-to place until either of us no longer exist on the face of the planet. You should, too

Excellent service , open and honest with pricing . He replaced my hard drive cleaned up all viruses and cleaned the entire laptop. Benson is very good at servicing and repairs . This is the second time I used his services and was very pleased and happy with his work . Will be going back when ever I need service or repairs . Benson helped me investigate a problem with my computer not turning on past the boot screen. He spent an entire afternoon working hard to get my laptop back up and running because he knew it was important to me to retrieve my project files and get back to work. Benson used a variety of testing methods to isolate the problem and was extremely professional at showing me what he discovered and what the solution was. I am so happy I dropped by his shop as I don't think I would have gotten as much attention at another. He revived my computer back to life and I am now forever customer at his store. I was happy to give him extra for helping me save so much time. Thank you!

If there's a way to do 10****s I would've done it :) This place is amazing. I got my data recovered plus a new harddrive for less than $250. A few months later the new harddrive glitched and they recovered my data onto another new drive free of charge. These people are amazing!

I dropped in on Saturday at noon. Issue with my Asus Zen-book that my daughter has, DC power input. She needed it back for University. Benson looked at it said will do best for Saturday by 6:30 or Monday. He called me back 6:15 Saturday, all done and waited till after closing. Great job, great pricing and great customer service. I chose Powersonic for my Acer laptop HD to SSD cloning and swap based on the previous Google reviews of this shop and I did not regret it one bit. Not only were they able to effortlessly clone and swap the drives, they gave me tips on how to use the NextStar TX drive enclosure used to store my original laptop HD even though I purchased the enclosure from another vendor! They really do care about their customers and I plan to have my other laptop (an HP CA-2000) upgraded to an SSD by summertime via Powersonic.

Small shop, but can get anything for you in short order. Have been using them for past 5 years and have "NEVER" been disappointed. Benson is excellent, helpful and knowledgeable. And, quite frankly, can fix any computer, cell phone, or device, in short order. Prices are very fair and reasonable. So, if you have any sort of Device troubles, take it to Powersonic (Benson). My computer crashed after the upgrade to Win 10. I tried the rescue disk, reboot from an external hard drive, but nothing worked. The owner Benson is very knowledgeable and helped me save all my data. He reinstalled my Windows for me also fixed my keyboard's broken key and overheating fan without extra charge. He's very careful and thorough. He also test ran my laptop before I picked it up. I normally can't trust anyone with my computer but Benson is professional and reliable. I'd recommend him and Powersonic to anyone who needs help with their computers, laptops or portable electronic devices. Give them a call if you need technical help with your computer. You will be amazed with their awesome service and skills like I did!

I went to a store whose name I won't mention that starts with N and is in Lansdowne Mall to buy a CPU and motherboard. They told me it was not there in store and couldn't be ordered either. He also was not willing to suggest anything else. Good salesman? Not. This is when it was not busy and nobody in the store. So I checked my phone for other places and ended up at Powersonic. The lady suggested something similar and for a price that was very close to N***. When I had an issue with installing the parts they helped me solve it, taking the time to do so with no charge. This is my new go to computer store. Thanks Powersonic.

This will be the only place I go for repair (if I can't fix it myself) or computer parts. The owners are so helpful, friendly, honest and patient. This is so rare to find nowadays and I will avoid to buy anything from chains like Canada Computers or Memory Express to support an honest business. I had spent the weekend trying to fix my PC and bought a new motherboard thinking my current one had finally died after 6 years. When I couldn't get the motherboard to boot after bringing it home, I brought it back to see if it was maybe my CPU that was the issue. They immediately tested the motherboard while I was in the store and found out it was working fine and my issue was that I didn't seat my stock CPU properly. They even tested my old motherboard and after a quick reset of the CMOS, found out it was not broken at all and still worked fine. They offered to refund the motherboard I had bought because mine was still functional and working. Amazing service!

Great mom & pop local shop that you don't find as much anymore. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fair pricing compared to the larger chain stores. I purchased some parts at the recommendation of the larger chain store but decided to take the parts to Power Sonic to assemble. They gave me really good advise, an accurate quote and the job was done within 2 days (larger chain store quoted 5x the wait time and higher cost too). Very happy with the result and will be returning for future businesses.

I highly recommend coming here, the couple that run this shop are friendly and know what they're doing. My computer had a rebooting issue occasionally and I tried doing what I could to see if I could figure it out but to no avail. I went to a lot of the bit name stores for example Memory Express, Best Buy etc and they were unable to figure it out even though they had my PC for days. I came to this shop and dropped it off and he called me back within a few hours and said I'd be able to pick up my PC tomorrow. It was extremely quick service and the price was way more than fair.
