Fantastic repairs at affordable prices! I recently had another great experience at No BS repairs. I had a hard drive issue with an older iMac and wanted it repaired in time for Christmas holidays so I could do some digital recording. Not only was it repaired quickly, Corbin took extra time to investigate and repair a noisy fan which was not part of the initial quote. No additional charge of course, and he stayed late to make sure it was done well and I was satisfied. He’s moved out of the neighborhood but I won’t go anywhere else. Software, hardware - he’s got an answer for me or will find one quickly. I’ll be back, it’s only a matter of time.

What a great experience dealing with No BS repairs. My 2008 imac crashed and I thought she'd be a goner but not the case after taking it to No BS repairs. The service was outstanding, it was fast, priced right and explained to me step by step with respect and care to my not so tech savvy self. I never once felt pressure to do anything more then I needed to. I would without a doubt reccomend No BS repairs to anyone who needs a Tech guru, it was truly service at its finest!

Fantastic and EXTREEEEMELY HELPFUL!! My laptop sustained some pretty severe physical damage where the LCD was destroyed and the top case was so bent my key board key fell out and my usb had bent completely 90 degrees. I decided to take it to a place called Cell n Tech and had a bad experience. They had my computer for almost 3 weeks and had called me saying my mother board was completely unrepairable and there was no point in fixing it. They then tried to get me to buy one of their older Mac books instead. I left feeling more so defeated when i decided to give NO BS Repairs a try. I brought my Mac book Air to his office and within minutes he had diagnosed the problem and told me the computer was fixable right in front of me. to my shock he mentioned nothing was wrong with my mother board and had my laptop looking like new within a week!! I'm currently using it to write this review right now! Completely satisfied with the service and will recommend him to anyone looking for a superb repair on any of their electronics!! Don't waste your time anywhere else and go straight to NO BS!!

I have used No BS Repairs, Corbin, on three occasions. He built a NAS and new PC for our small IT business. Very competitive and timely! Why buy a stock PC when Corbin can custom build one for the same price? He was also incredibly helpful in finding an inexpensive work around for my 12” MacBook. The Apple store said it needed a new motherboard (only Apple can do this repair) for almost $800. Corbin said I could get a couple of more years from it by running it from a small external SSD drive. It worked. Cost - $56! I also could not get my ethernet connection to work on my MacBook, and the monitor would intermittently go black. I checked many forums, Apple blogs and a friends corporate IT guy. No luck. Corbin knew immediately that the JCPAL USB-C 9-Port Hub is not Mac friendly. The Anker he recommended (he even sent me the Amazon link) solved the problems. He has made other recommendations as well when I have had questions. Customer service at its’ finest! Extremely fair and helpful. I would highly recommend Corbin for all your PC and Mac repairs or builds! Thank you, Corbin, for all your help and friendly service. Took a chance that they might be able to repair the "black screen" on my laptop. I popped by their shop and they stopped what they were doing to see if they could fix it on the spot. No luck. They kept it for a few days and in they end the repair would have cost more than I wanted to spend. They were able to save my old hard drive and install it in my new laptop. The charge was beyond reasonable. I would have no trouble recommending them to a friend. Friendly guys that seem to know what they are doing. Please support small private guys. Even though we started off with a bit of a glitch (Corbin was called to a business with a computer emergency and wan't in the office at the agreed time) and I had to return for service I did so because of the high recommendation I had received from a friend. I am very pleased that I persevered and got Corbin to fix my computer. It ended up being a more serious problem than I thought it was going to be but now works well and has a 3 year warranty. Almost immediately I had to return and even though the new problem was with the charge cable, Corbin checked all over, tested internal batteries re-assembled and did it all on warranty. Fast, prompt, friendly service, and no BS! Had to have a quick fix on my MacBook Pro and Corbin was the only one I spoke to who would accommodate me (same day). Replaced a bad trackpad with a used part at half the price and even included a year's warranty. Easily saved me $100. Would definitely recommend him! Recently (Jan 2020) had another issue with another MacBook Pro. Lost access to all data although the hard drive was working. Called Corbin and he got me in that day, solved the problem (phew!) expeditiously and gave me some valuable tips for future protection. All this for more than reasonable cost. He fixed my Nintendo Switch. My micro USB port was damaged and a replacement needed to be micro-soldered back on, took it to other repair shops first but they don't even do microsoldering. He also replaced the power management chip that was shorted out. The repair took only a week. This guy knows electronics repair to the microchip level. I would STRONGLY NOT reccomend going to this shop. I can not fathom the disappointing and unprofessional journey I've had with this shop. After 5 WEEKS of Corbin having my apple macbook pro laptops (7 year 2012 model and 8 month 2017 model) in his shop, he did absolutely nothing to them! My 2017 he did not touch at all and my 2012 he claims he tweaked the motherboard. I gave him my laptops March 6th he said he would get back to me the following Tuesday regarding the status. He never did. Waited another week NO RESPONSE. I emailed him. NO RESPONSE. I had my friend to call the shop due to me having laryngitis. On March 19th FINALLY I get an email an hour after her call, from him saying "The 2012 Macbook pro is mostly ready, just need to get a bottom plate put on. I can see what arrangements I can arrange to get it back to you via a courier service. The 2017 I haven't had time to look at yet, so I will get that returned to you as well". He never did. I waited yet another 3 WEEKS constantly emailing. NO RESPONSE. Called the shop. NO RESPONSE went to Voicemail. I assumed with COVID19 going around his shop was closed. But on Google and his Facebook business page showed he was open and in fact online. I had my sister email him. NO RESPONSE. I ended up having another friend inquire about a computer repair since I felt that he was a fraud and scamming me of my laptops. He replied instantly to her. I was stunned. I've been waiting 3 weeks for an update on my computer and NO RESPONSE. Kept reaching out, he finally gets back to me on April 14th saying "Hey sorry been terrible about getting back to a bunch of people and devices" ... " i'll have it sorted and returned tommorow." After telling him how disappointed I was with his service he replies with " Absolutely, I've not been great all. Let me make it up, I'll have it fixed and ready by the evening, no cost at all. I'll let you know you can pick up or I'll have it couriered at no cost." I told him I prefer to pick it up as I've waited long enough. Waited the next day never heard from him. Reached out to him at 4pm ONCE AGAIN inquiring. NO RESPONSE. Then at 5pm I messaged him saying I'm coming to pick up. He said "Hey, I'm loading MacOS onto a new SSD on the 2012" . Showed up at the shop, waited an hour when he said 15 minutes till the updates were done. After 5 weeks of lack of communication and negligence of customer service he regrets to inform me that he was able to turn it on but the battery doesnt work and I'll need a new one. Also the internet doesnt work and I'll need more parts to fix it. I informed him due to his appalling communication he should now pay for these items as that only seems fair. His response was " I already put in around $100 of my own money in parts, sorry there's not much more I can do help at the moment, money wise for me times are tough with whats going on." And " So sorry you caught me at a bad time. All the best and stay healthy". He never charged me because he did NOTHING. What a horrendous experience! I now am left with 2 non functional laptops after 5 weeks of him wasting my time. I WILL NOT be coming back and I suggest anyone who wants to get work done on their computer to NOT go to no BS repairs. If I never reached out to him all those times I never would have received my laptops back. This was the biggest bunch of BS I have ever dealt with.
