It's still as Greg put it, but the computers have taken over more. It's worth seeing even just for nostalgia and interest. Where else can you pick from Deli-Meats, and then in the next aisle, grab a PS/2 Keyboard and some 3.5" Floppy disks. The novelty of the old and new computer parts is worth the trip!

I've never used this place as a computer service, but their selection of retro equipment is exceptional. It looks like as if somebody's grandparents had a computer store and just never threw anything in the garbage ever. The service is really good as far as the Postal Service goes, and the owners are friendly. I give it a 5 stars, but I can't really speak for the computer service side, so please keep that in mind when reading this review. As I said, the Retro selection of computer equipment is vast. If you need some sort of digital relic, this may be your place

While I've never dealt with these folks for actual service, I was in this shop since it's a merger between the Canada Post and itself. The shop is an impressive array of parts and gadgets all strewn about. Staff was polite in passing, but otherwise I can't speak to the services provided here.

The shop itself is pretty messy, but the workers are honest and very hard workers. Every time I go in they are super nice and really good tech people with computers and laptops, TV repairs, they no a little bit about everything. Also there is a Canada Post Office here that is really pleasant to go to when you need to mail something.

Massive pile of used parts only. Don't go there if you need something specific or in good condition. This store is for 70 year old men trying to figure out how to install window 95 and stuff like that

Very great service, just got our laptop opened up from him, and he says that if he couldint do it, no charge, but he did open it! Great shop too, won on the lottery stand a few times, stacks upon stacks of laptops in there though lol.

My laptop was not turning on due to some issue with the motherboard. I had previously took it to another repair shop in town and they told me my laptop was repairable and recommended I buy a new system. I wanted a 2nd opinion before I spend $1,300 - so i took it to Golden Top Computers. They managed to fix my motherboard and my laptop works perfectly fine. Their knowledge in computers is excellent, and that is exactly how a computer repair shop should be. I am very pleased with their services and the price was very reasonable. It also came with warranty which is a huge plus. They have gained yet another long term customer. I couldn't be any happier - these guys saved me from having to buy a brand new system!

Brought my laptop here for an emergency clean after dumping a cup of tea inside it - They were great in being honest about the possible issues that could come up, took apart the inside and cleaned out all the excess liquid I couldn’t reach - they got me in working order within the same day and made a really stressful situation a lot better. Would recommend!! The shop shares space with a post office, and there are a LOT of laptops stacked on shelves and against the walls (maybe for parts?)! This is a real working computer shop with hands on, practical approaches to problem solving.

Both Bill and the woman at the counter ( his wife?) became rude and belligerent when I requested a receipt/ ticket when leaving my new computer at their store for a repair. They stated that I was the first person to ask for a receipt in 30 years and this was an insult to them. These people were the most rude, nasty ,and unprofessional shopkeepers I've ever encountered.

i have brought my computers to Bill for a few years now and i highly recommend him. Not only does he know his stuff, but he is also very fair with his prices and goes the extra mile to help a struggling single mom. I would not hesitate to call him or just drop in as everyone right down to the post office staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. THE BEST COMPUTER PLACE IN ALL OF BC FOR ME.

I have had several computers repaired and updated by Golden Top. I also bought an older laptop from them. The place looks like a total disaster but amazingly Bill the owner can go into the crowded aisles and bring out what you are looking for no matter how obscure.

My laptop was booting to blue screen, so I brought it in to Golden Top. The job was done quickly, and the customer service was awesome. They were happy to call and keep me posted on the repair progress, as well as staying after closing to fix my machine. Very reasonable price and incredibly friendly. Totally recommended.

The old lady at post office was pretty rude asking if I needed help from her or the Computer area. Secondly, the two people in the computer area never bothered to ask me to if I needed help so I had to talk in between their conversation to get attention. I was looking for a SATA splitter or molex splitter and the guy said there's no such thing and shook his head, I walked in looking for things I know exist but they were pretty quick and rude. Shop looks like a pile of trash just like the service.

I got very bad experience with this Golden Top repair shop. One day suddenly my desktop turned off by itself and wouldn't turn on. I thought it must be power unit so took it to this shop. The owner called Bill took the computer and later phoned me to say the computer needed major repair.But then after talking for a while he said he fixed it by reinstalling Graphics driver and charged me $60 for it. But when I came home the computer still won't turn on. I found out that it was actually a short-circuited USB device and after unplugging it the desktop turned ON. This Shop is a Big Rip off.

i love this place. bill and his wife are friendly and always willing to help. Bill fixed my computer last year for cheap and updated some of my programs. I work IT so this is very important to me for work. the site is run down and outdated but i hear from the maintenance man they are ripping the apartments and mall down and building big high rises so this will be an improvement. i hope they keep bill and his wife because they are great people.

Not only do they fix computers here but there is also a post office. Even though I do not use the postal service very often it is convenient to have a location nearby. The staff are friendly and are always willing to answer questions.
