I love this place, everyone here is so friendly, professional, and extremely talented. I needed to replace a battery on a Samsung s7, plus fix the vibrate. I arrived less than an hour before closing, they were happy to do the work and completed it in that short time before closing.. They even honored the quote for the battery repair that I got via phone a few days earlier, by the manager, even though it was unfortunately a mistaken lower quote. they were all so cool! AWESOME! Skip the Apple store and keep your dollars in the local community. These guys replaced the battery in my iphone in 15 minutes!! My screen has a small crack and they took extra care to replace the battery without further damage to the screen. They were so kind, friendly, and efficient! I'm extremely happy with this company! The service is over the top. They stayed in constant contact with me throughout the repair of my computer. I am not very computer literate so I really appreciated how they kept me in the loop, only did what I needed and explained in easy terms what they did lol. i found out about them while i picking my Purolator package. its big thanks to them for keeping package picking up local here, instead of going all the way to other cities. I truly appreciated the service, the quality of the repair job, the friendliness of the staff, and the policy of offering their diagnostic evaluation for free, and then discussing with the customer whether the repair cost warrants going through the repair. And speaking of cost, I found Bc Gadgets Maple Ridge to be extremely reasonable. After significant time spent in the Puget Sound, my “dead” I-Phone 7 was brought back to life for about $150. It’s good as new now, a far better outcome than had I gone to Apple Store. Two thumbs up!!

Purolator don't notify me when they are delivering, so I am unable to leave my vehicle gate open in anticipation. I have a farm, and I cannot leave the driveway open all the time. They refuse to walk through my pedestrian gate (which is unlocked 24/7) and walk the approximately 50 feet to the house. I should note that UPS and Canada Post have no problem with doing this. They then take the parcel to their local depot (BC Gadgets) but it takes 3 days before the depot will release it. The carrier left a door knocker saying to come pick up the parcel on 21 October after 12:00. I came on 21 October at about 12:15 or so, and the clerk at the depot refused to help me until after he had fully processed the recent arrival of some parcels (the entire counter and floor was covered with them!). When I complained he told me that he has only one handset (the electronic gadget that tracks the parcels) and that he had to log the whole shipment before he could use the handset to process my delivery and give me my parcel. He then said it was my own fault for coming before 2 pm. I showed him the door knocker that said 12:00. He said the driver made a mistake and it wasn't his (the clerk's) fault. I pointed out that it wasn't my fault either; but that it was pretty unsatisfactory to fail to deliver a parcel and then ask a customer to make a trip to a depot, only to keep them waiting an excessive amount of time. At that point the clerk started raising his voice. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately it was also not an isolated experience. Things have gone this way every time a shipment is sent to me by Purolator by any supplier. If I could give them less than one star I would. From now on, I will make an effort to ask the supplier which carrier they plan to use, and I will choose a supplier that does not use Purolator.

With apple, I would have paid about 65$ more for the screen repair. It was pretty fast, and I actually scheduled the day before and I got my phone screen done in less than 45 minutes here in maple ridge. My phone screen looks just like new, and if I was just shown the screen, I doubt I could tell the difference between a new and an old phone. Also much more simple than the hassle apple makes you go through when doing phone repairs.

I taken my phone to bc gadget twice. One time to replace an old battery, and the second time to fix a broken screen and LCD. Each time, they were super friendly and helpful and were done in less than 30 minutes. My phone has not had any problems with the screen or batteries since then. I would definitely recommend bc gadgets for price, speed, customer service, and quality. Best place to get a phone fixed!

Had to pick up packages there twice and it was miserable both times, the service representatives there didn't really know what they were doing, and were completely unable to answer any questions I had. I have specifically asked Purolator to drop my stuff off at a different location because I am legitimately afraid these people will lose my packages out of negligence.

Most of the comments here makes me think they are fake. I've been at this location 3-5 times to pick up my FedEx/other deliveries and each time I've had the worst service I've ever had in my life. I get the fact that giving out these boxes perhaps does not serve any profit to them hence they don't care about that service. But would I ever go there for other consumer reasons after this kind of service? No. Just to give you an idea of my most recent visit - I went in to pick up a FedEx order. The main owner (presumably) was eating on the counter at one side. Another elderly man with limited English received instructions in their native tongue to get the box from the back. Then the box sitting on the counter, I had to wait till the the main owner finished eating. The elderly gentleman couldn't check it out apparently. The man took his SWEET time (at least 2 mins) finishing his lunch, packing it up and putting it back in the bag. And then without washing/sanitizing his hands held my box and giving it out to me. Apparently customer does not come first at this location. I have no problem with you having lunch, all you have to do is put a sign on the door saying Please come back in XX mins. I'll gladly oblige. Unfortunately this location is the closest to my house but now I've instructed FedEx to drop it at Staples which is 10 mins further than this store. But I'd rather receive a smiling prompt service than what I got here.

Long Story. I got an email that my FedEx package had arrived today(saturday), and was being held at the FedEx pickup location at this store. Unfortunately due the long weekend, I had planned to leave the day after(sunday) to visit family that I hadn't seen in over a year and a half due to covid. I work in Richmond but live in maple ridge. I happened to get off early and called BC Gadgets letting him know that I would be coming soon even though they closed in 45 mins. I asked the owner if he was willing to stay open for an extra 5 minutes. Of course, he didn't promise anything but said he would do his best because he also had to leave quickly after work to get to Vancouver. I arrived at 6:05pm, 5 minutes past closing, just as the owner was closing up shop. He told me he was closed and asked what it was I wanted, I let him know I was there to pick up a package and he remembered me from the phone call earlier. Seeing my dedication to picking up my package(which was a gift for my wife) he booted up the PC so that he could process my package. TLDR: All in all, the shop owner is a wonderful person who goes above and beyond and I am eternally grateful!

After the big fail by Rogers/Fido my sons iPhone X would no longer connect to data. We tried everything. Power down, reset, SIM card out then in, took it to Fido to check the SIM card, and all the various suggestion on the internet. Fido thought it was a hardware problem and that we needed a new phone. Took it to BC Gadgets. He also tried all the usual things to no avail. Offer to try some sort of flash magic for $30.00. No guarantee it would work. We agreed and it worked! All of $30 and 1 hour of time and we are back in action and this mama can rest easier knowing she can contact her teen. Thanks BC Gadgets!!

I went into to BC Gadgets to have my iphone X screen repaired. When making the decision, I double checked if there was warranty on the screen, and the owner assured me that “anything other than a cracked screen would be replaced” The screen was fixed within the day of bringing it in, and all looked well. The next day my screen had a green line show up down the middle. I gave the owner a call and he told me to come in to take a look. After opening up the phone, he couldn’t see any issues on the inside, and started telling me that the only way a green line could show up was due to damage on my end. This however, was not the case. The owner then changed his story and explained that the warranty is only if the touch screen portion of the screen was faulty. He told me to go home and that he would try and talk to the supplier, but never reached out again. When I called him a week later, he stated that this was not his problem and that he wasn’t going to spend $180 to fix something that wasn’t his fault. Not only is the green line there, now the touch screen isn’t working either. In conclusion, I spent $210 on a screen replacement and $30 for the screen protector, to come out with a screen that is not even functioning to use for texting. I hope this helps someone from basically having money stolen from them.

I have been here twice in the last year and both times have been fantastic experiences. They are fast(45 minutes-1.5 hours) and do a clean and good job. They even put the screen protector on it for you(I always get bubbles under it when I do it). Sometimes there’s a line up but that just shows that they are doing a good job and everyone comes here. I hope I don’t have to come back again(because I don’t want to break my screen AGAIN!) but if I do I will definitely come here. And I will recommend any friends to go here. Thanks guys!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! I went to this shop to have my iphone's screen replaced. I specifically asked if they would install an official apple screen and they ensured me that they would install an apple screen. I picked up my phone after it was repaired and I compared screens with my brothers phone and the difference was ridiculous. They lied to me about installing an apple screen. I figured I would just forget about it because my phone worked fine, the screen just looked terrible. However, a couple of weeks later, the touch screen stopped working. At this point I decided I had to bring the phone back and discuss my options. After a conversation with the owner it turns out they DO NOT install official apple iPhone screens, they purchase cheap knockoffs. They would only install a new **non-apple screen** if I bought a new one, and paid for the labour. So I asked if I could get a refund, and they only gave me a portion of my money back. Essentially, I paid for a broken screen to be installed in my phone. Again, go somewhere else if you need someone to fix your iPhone.

Wonderful shop and service. My iPhone X had been plagued with "ghost touch" issues and Apple recommended I replace my phone since it was out of warranty. After a recommendation from a friend I brought my phone in to see if deep could take a look. He replaced the screen in less than 30 minutes at a very fair price. He even included a screen protector without an additional charge. My phone has been working better than it has in months and I couldn't be happier with the replacement screen. like this small family owned business in maple ridge.

Definitely recommend!!! Great service. Finished repairs when they said they would. Went in for a charging port repair on my iphone 6s and they diagnosed, replaced the entire port, and installed a new battery in 45 minutes. Wasn’t expecting a battery issue but they let me know it would need replacing soon and offered to do it at the same time for a reduced bundle price, but they were not pushy or salesman like about it at all. They are very honest are straightforward with their pricing and always let you know before doing any repairs.

The ear plug broke off in my daughter's new iPad so no sound. Two other places wouldn't even touch it. Manager said he couldn't promise to take it out the broken piece but he would able to change the port if he need to. Next afternoon he called and said it was ready without changing. Worst God damn phone service/customer service in maple ridge! Went in too ask for a S8 fixed and was told $550 . Called the next day and some guy answered and told me $650, told him why it changed, and later on responded with the price is $100 more and hung up! Try to find a different Fedex pick up spot! You will have to sign for the package on a machine that the employee does NOT sanitize before hand. Also he will take your ID before sanitizing his hands and try to give it back to you directly. I was given a look of discuss when I asked him to put it on the counter, instead of handing it to me. The cherry on the cake was telling me to grab the package from behind the plexiglass!

Did not fix the problem with the computer as requested. Had me bring in my laptop charger which was in immaculate condition and gave me back an older, and grime covered model when I picked up the computer, which I didn't notice at the time. When I realized the next day what had happened I was insistently told the charger I left with was the one I brought in. Also, they do not write up work/drop off orders or give receipts when paying cash.

Fed-ex issued me a $187 refund through BC Gadgets. The owner Mandeep Singh Sandhu refuses to give me this refund which I have an email from Fed--ex that includes a credit referance number and instructions to collect it from BC Gadgets. Fed-ex tells me that they have no way to enforce his decision and because they already gave BC Gadgets my refund then it's between me and him. I will never use Fed-ex again and as far as BC Gadgets. Well the owner is a crook.

Friendly and professional service. My tablet died on my and he figured out what was wrong. Wasn't able to fix it but did offer option to send tablet to Toronto to get fixed but I thought it wasn't worth the risk. Said that is a 50/50 chance that the device could be fixed but it would cost $100, whatever the outcome. At least he figured out what the problem is and was upfront about the cost and situation.

Had water damage to my phone just wanted to get the pics off it. They told me it would be 50 bucks non refundable to start. And it would be ready in 3 weeks and not to call. They would call me. I waited a month and a half and still no call. I called them they said it was ready. Went to go pick it up and it was no ready. They needed another week. Waited another month and a half. Still no call. I called them they said it was ready. Got there. They said they were not able to get the pics off and there was nothing they could do. 3 months and 50 bucks to find out there was nothing they could do! I feel rob. If I could give no stars I would. A month later, I dropped my iPhone and my screen popped open. Luckily I could pop it back in. I went into the store to check if it was okay. After getting my phone repaired here I've been told of 3 diff places that can do the same service for under $100. I was willing to pay up to $150 to get it done that day but not only did it take a day longer but the price went up twice finalizing at $188 for a screen repair and to top that up yet they scratched up my phone. My phone works now but it would may have been wiser to wait it out and shop around. *update I rated originally 2 instead of 1 star because the screen repair at least worked and worked well despite the other problems but they called the friend I had bring it in for me to yell at her about the review.

Dropped my Samsung S4 and completely cracked my screen. This was the second time I had to repair it, and I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. However, the difference this time was that I went to Bc Gadgets. They helped me right away instead of making me wait around forever, and my phone looked good as new.
