I really can't say enough good things about Ken, Sue, Will and the others. We've been bringing our vehicles to them for a number of years now, and always have positive experiences. They do their best to accomodate us and our timetable (knowing that we also need to be flexible and courteous to their time), are upfront and honest about costs, and do an excellent job of explaning the nitty-gritty details and giving us options when options are available (fix now, defer, new parts vs. rebuild etc). They do a great job helping us keep our older vehicles on the road in a cost-effective, safe and reliable manner. I have to say, however, that today they really went above and beyond what we've come to expect from them. We had our faithful 06 Caravan in for inspection and service as we are planning on buying a bigger vehicle to accomodate our growing family and are passing our current van to another family. We've been driving around with a huge dent in one of the sliding doors for about 6-7 years that we never bothered to fix. Lo and behold, while they had our vehicle they just happened to have an 06 Caravan that was going to the wreckers that was the same colour as ours, sans dent in the sliding door. They swapped out the doors for us as a surprise, at no charge! Needless to say we're thilled and so will our Caravan's new owners! Thanks guys, you really made our day and gave us yet another reason why we love West End Service.

I've always had a great experience bringing my vehicles to West End Service. They've been honest and friendly and very quick with fixes on my vehicles. Their quotes have always proven to be accurate and their fixes are never faulty. They give you enough information to know what your options are and make good recommendations. I would fully recommend bringing your vehicles to this shop for any reason, from a simple oil change to a majour fix.

Terrible service. Took way to long to get fixes done. Continuously had to push back dates and was only able to get half of what needed to be fixed finished. Could never get a straight answer while talking to employee on the phone.

Lucky this place is even getting 1 star, took my neon srt4 to them for what I assumed was transmission failure. Apparently they checked it out and said I would need a whole brand new transmission, when I asked them what part in the transmission exactly broke they could not give me a straight answer, which set off alarm bells. My gf convinced me they were scamming me, so I took her advice and had it towed back to Winnipeg. Upon repairing the car we discovered it was nothing to do with the transmission it was just a stubby axle that had worn down. If I had gone through with there recommendation they would have had me for over 3 grand, if a mechanic can't tell you which part has broken do not trust them. This happened to me about 5 years ago but they do not deserve to even be in business. I think because I was from Winnipeg they thought I would be gullible and leave my car there with no option but to go with there recommendation.

i have had nothing but a great experience with West End Service. The heater fan went out in my 2015 ford. Ford wouldn't look at it for a week and didn't even try to squeeze it in. West End had it done that day. Great customer service and will continue to use them.

Take your business elsewhere. At first, they were quick to get me in and look at my car. Then when I got my phone call about my car, the man on the phone said "are you sitting down". Real professional....and then proceeded to tell me the job would cost me $1,600 in total and explains everything. My partner and I go to pick up my car and the service man was good to explain what they found with my vehicle and such, but when we questioned him on things, all he could say was "I don't know, we did a pressurized test" or "sorry man". And then he asked us "well how do you know where its leaking from?" like we were idiots. Well, we got on our hands and knees and visibly seen the leak and the pool of anti freeze. Thanks for speaking to us like we were 5 year olds. Oh, and my passenger window was rolled down all the way. Did I mention it was -30 out and their parking lot is next to a gas station? So anyone could grab whatever was in my car. So much for trusting these mechanics for taking your vehicle and possessions seriously. Finally we go in to pay, and ask the lady why my window was wide open, for who knows how long. She proceeds to tell us that sometimes they leave the windows down a crack so there isn't any fog so they can see when they pull out. We understand how fog works, but they managed to roll the other windows up. I found out my lights were also left on when I left for home, again, no idea how long they were left on. In the end, I'm going to take my car to my dealership and they are going to charge me $900 for the same job. That's a $700 difference.

They have gone above and beyond - up front about work and pricing, call to confirm before proceeding, long and short term scheduling, emergency work, and shuttling to their location. They continually do good work and provide excellent value and, above all, I trust them. I never worry about scamming, overpricing, etc. Vehicles are complex and can have a multitude of issues, and West End Service does an amazing job of being honest, fair, and work with me every time to get me back on the road quickly. Amazing experience. We were stranded Friday outside Brandon on our way from Regina to Winnipeg for a tournament on Saturday. The owner himself, and 2 mechanics, stayed until after midnight to help us on our way. They saved us from missing the tournament. Can not say enough great things. Truly fantastic!

I was in Brandon for a day trip for work from winnipeg. When I got to Brandon I realized I was leaking a lot of oil from my car. The staff were extremely understanding and helpful. They were able to rush my appointment and got my vehicle fixed so I could return home that day. Charges were extremely reasonable and I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. I do not understand this car-repair-shop. I repaired my car here one month ago because it turned on checkup light which is Malfunction Indicator Light came on the instrument panel. This was an lamp of engine and automatic transmission control system. So I asked to this repair shop for the first time on June 16 to check the condition of my car. I asked the manager when I could check and he told me he would have free time in the afternoon. If you call me at the free time of your store, I will come back and tell you that I will check with you. But the manager did not get in touch and eventually I called and told him why he would not contact me, so he had already done the repair and told me it was $ 167.11. I was so absurd, but I paid for the repair because the car had been completely repaired. But after a few days the lamp came on again and I went to complain. However, the manager told me that he would come back if he had to check again, but he ignored it again and arbitrarily checked it out and charged for $ 275.90. And he said he had to pay $ 241.52 more to repair it. I was feel depressed , but I paid for the maintenance because of my busy work and the next day I exchanged the pump and filter. But a few days later, the checkup lamp came on again and I was so angry that I went to ask for a refund. But the manager refused the refund and he told me to check it again. Then he said that the gas was leaking from the pipe and that there was another cost. So I contacted a Korean repairman working in Canada to confirm about whole situations. And he said it was too expensive. The ondemand site lists the causes of all car failures and says that it is more expensive than the LTS regulations. And when you reset the car 's control system, it did not turn on the light for a while. My car is still going in and out of the lamp. So I want to repair it as soon as possible. I am insecure when driving a car. I desperately need a refund.
