Was having a tough time finding marine speakers in stock in Canada. My typical go-to online suppliers were all sold out. Put a search on Google and Extreme came up as one of the top results. Was hesitant because I had never heard of them and they “seemed” small. Decided to give them a shot after getting quick communication from someone on the team. Just received the speakers in Montréal, less than a week after ordering. Super fast shipping. Everything looks great. Will do business again.

My bf bought double 10" subs for his trunk in his car. They did a terrible job. Service was horrible. They did not even install the capacitor which ended up causing his alternator to break and drain the battery. It should have been installed as he paid for a "professional installation". The subs weren't even mounted and flew around the trunk pulling on the wires. I would not recommend anyone to go here for any audio installation.

. I had order a TV to be placed in a personal care home for an elderly family member. The TV I ordered was more than I actually needed. I.e. Smart TV vs regular TV. Instead of accepting my order for the higher priced TV, they contacted me suggesting a lower priced TV. That's real customer service! They weren't out to take my money. I addition, it was delivered the very next day. Definitely a great place ????

Bought an AV receiver and cables from Extreme last year during height of COVID. Was told if it didn't work for our purposes we couldn't return right away, but to hold onto everything and return at later date. When we tried to return it earlier this year, we were told quite unapologetically no. The reasons they gave us was the box had been opened, the cables were taken out of the bag, etc. Plus they were quite rude about it. Now we are stuck with $600 worth of equipment we can't use. Not impressed! Response to their response: Yes, we were aware we dragged our feet on trying to return, but it was not our first attempt to do so. We phoned earlier in the year and told we still couldn't return. Then life got in the way for a few months. And in terms of it not being new or unused, how exactly do you try a product out without taking it out of the box or opening the packaging. No effort was made to meet us in the middle, you wouldn't even take the cables back.

Purchased Kanto Yumi's from Extreme Electronics as they were the only store that had them in Canada. Was skeptical at first, but went ahead and purchased them not knowing anything about purchasing bookshelf speakers. Shipping was estimated within 7 days but arrived in 3. The product arrived safe as they had packaged the original box within another box with plenty of packing material. Was surprised as most would ship the product within its original box. Had a positive experience overall. The only minor problem I had was when I had purchased the Kanto Yumi's; the product page had free shipping and had thought the shipping would be free. I inquired about it the next day as they had emailed me that I had to make another payment for the shipping but in the end was told there were more details regarding what products were eligible for free shipping. In the end I paid the fee as I could only find the Kanto Yumi's from this online store. Thanks! Product arrived in one piece with care, everything is up and running and would definitely purchase from them again.

You have to give one star, in order to start writing a review on here. I just sent in an inquiry via email. The "General Manager" of said establishment, Mr. Brian Johnson, replys to my query in all capital letters, a total of 4 words. Email etiquette at it's best. No wonder he is unable to sell an open box Alpine sub at half price, since God knows how long. Thank my stars that I did not buy anything from this guy. Buyer beware. There are more deserving and capable businesses out there who will work hard and go the extra mile to win and more importantly keep, your valued business as a customer. Stay away from Extreme electronics, atleast till the time they have better people dealing with customers!

Ordered a Kenwood Excelon car radio online through Extreme Electronics. They did not have the ordered unit in stock but Matt went out of his way to help me out. He gave me an upgraded unit for the same price and shipping was super fast from Manitoba to Quebec. Installed today and could not be happier with my purchase. Their prices are VERY competitive, especially compared to Crutchfield Canada. I highly recommend them!

Asked if they would install a car starter for me that I had purchased a few years prior but didn't install and they said they would which was great. I asked for a quote before booking anything because that's the smart thing to do. Turns out they were still going to charge me for a starter system even though I was providing one. Let's just say I took my business elsewhere for much, MUCH less than the $700 quote. Response to "owner": No kidding the quote included the starter. If the starter wasn't compatible then why would your sales guy say they'd install it? Does anyone at your store even know what they are doing or talking about? Also the work is already done so I'm not contacting you. Just making sure no one gets screwed over by your company. Because it seems like you guys like to do that.

Ordered a turntable I think about December 3, maybe a few days earlier. Received a phone call saying my table was on backorder and could take about a month. Month and a half went by so I emailed them. They said they would let me know. Finally an email came saying my turntable would arrive sometime in late February or early March. Table arrived today March 28th which is good since they called saying it wouldn’t arrive until mid April. So it was a long 4 month wait to get my item even though they charged my visa the same day I ordered. Upset about paying $600 and then waiting 4 months but the table arrived in working order and they threw in an LP brush. Yay. I guess my complaints would be, don’t charge my visa until the item is in stock and be upfront about delay times instead of dragging me along for 4 months. Otherwise I’m happy to have my table. An update on your website may be a nice option. When I purchased the table from you all indications pointed to it being ‘in stock’.

Day one of looking for a new TV Henry was great, he chatted how well the tv was and we went home to think about it. Day 2 Keisha the other sales rep really brought out the features of the TV and even took the time to call me back directly to walk me through the set up of the new Samsung Neo QLED QN90A 55" TV. She didn't seemed to be rushed as she she said she'd call me from her cell phone and totally walked me through the start up process.. I'm so happy with both sales people that I'm going to buy the sound bar specific for this TV.. @Extreme Electronics Both Keisha and Henry both need a raise in pay! Seriously! Both didn't pressure us into a 2K+ tv and actually took there time to explain all this new TV had to offer.. Thanks to the both of ya!

I have had a very unpleasant experience with this company. To begin with I ordered it through Amazon with a promised delivery date AND free memory. It was a gift for my wife's birthday. Well, it arrived late, and without the memory. My wife lives in Kansas, and she is not a "thechno wizard" She did not use the camera for six months, and then after only a few uses it stopped working. COMPLETELY stopped working. When I notified the "family" at Extreme Electronics, they said "we're sorry" but we CANNOT do anything for you. That was it. NEVER BUY A CAMERA FROM THIS COMPANY. Buy direct from Amazon who gives you good return policy, or Sam's Club, or Costco, or even Target or Walmart. But this company has a policy that once they have your money, they do not care . I should not have "gambled" to save a few bucks. It was a BIG MISTAKE. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Needed replacement speakers for my spa that were non metal so rust proof. Had great difficulty finding such speakers that would survive such environment so landed my choice on Wet Sounds speakers. They were hard to find in Canada at a decent price but Extreme Electronics had them at a good price so made the purchase online. Shipping was fast. Transaction was smooth. Email notifications sent throughout the process and came with tracking number. Package very well protected. Took 5 business days from my order to my door 2 provinces away. I must state that I wasn’t convinced making such an expensive purchase (a Yamaha RX-A1080) at a website which I knew nothing about was the right thing to do... but I reached out about stock availability on a late weeknight and I was replied to within minutes. I decided then that this store was worth a shot. The sale went through at 10:30PM on a Thursday and the receiver was shipped the next day. It arrived in perfect shape 3 business days later, a surprise to me since it travelled from Brandon, MB to Montreal, QC. Thanks again Mike for the flawless sale. Ordered a TV stand that was on their website, went through the process of creating a profile, giving them my personal information, etc., and then paid for my order. Two minutes later my order was cancelled with only an automated email, no apologies, no response to my inquiry, no offer of an alternate idea (perhaps a similar product, or maybe even be classy and suggest a competitor that has this item). So, these guys suck pretty hard. Thanks for nothing. UPDATE: I had emailed them requesting they delete my information (as I will never use them again) and they just ignored me. These guys are about as awesome at customer service as old people are at screwing.

I had been looking for a certain model Napoleon Barbecue for three or four days, e-mailing, texting and calling. Finally found Extreme Electronics based in Manitoba. I purchased my Napoleon bbq for hundreds of dollars less than all other stores in the niagara and Toronto areas. Shipping was $120 from Manitoba to Niagara. Still saved quite a bit of cash. Delivery was much sooner than I had expected. Four days. They also provided tracking of package in the confirmation e-mail. Great experience.

I bought a stove I asked the salesman if they would take the old stove away as I have no truck to take the old stove to the dump. He told me it would be no problem, we can do that for you. Today my stove was delivered I had to take it out of the box and they would not take the old stove. I told the salesman, that he said they would take it before I paid for the new one. Had a system put on my car and something went wrong with it, they were able to fit me in on very short notice and help sort out the problem. Every time I go into the store it’s always a good experience they always take time to explain stuff to me and and answer whatever questions I may have. Big shout out to extremeelectronics for great customer service. I was having an incredibly hard time finding the correct led/speaker wiring for my tower speakers. Nobody seemed to have it or know where I could get it, and if they did have they wouldn’t ship it to me in Canada. I reached out to many businesses in Canada. Mike Nair and the warehouse peeps got back to me right away. No one else even replied. They tracked it down and got it to me ASAP. Saved me a lot of time and expense. Bought the Klipsch R-15pm speakers along with a Music Hall USB-1 turntable after speaking with one of the salesman on the phone. Best Buy, Amazon and all other stereo stores in Ontario couldn't compete with their price on the speakers. The turntable was packed with care. The original box with the TT was packed inside another box full of insulation to prevent it from getting damaged. The shipping was also free. Good job gang. I will recommend you to anyone looking for electronics!

Bought a system..first off guy lied about system saying it was better than the one i wanted that wasnt in store... ended up returning it (decided too much money).. the owner was shaking his head before he even opened the boxes (which i packed perfectly and kept all styrofoam etc) He said because one piece of Styrofoam was broken i had to pay $150 (this is after a worker refunded me) i said ill go buy styrofoam and bring a new piece.. long story short he charged me 150$ for a broken piece of styrofoam.. everything was in excellent condition and all packing there. Extremely Crooked. After reading your comment: I had told you i forgot the remote and you had said you would charge me AGAIN if i dont bring it back..I had every intention on bringing the remote back.. you made it VERY clear you were charging me because of the broken styrofoam. I understand you would use this as an excuse because possibly now you realize how ridiculous this was?! There were two other individuals who witnessed this discussion and would vouch that you were charging me for a piece of styrofoam. Why would i be so upset if it was just about returning a remote? Looks like you have history of terrible customer service. Unreal when your guarantee says YOU PROMISE customer satisfaction. Once again, very crooked.

Bought a tv from them and got 2 year extended warranty that they told me would turn into store credit if I didn't use it. Little did I know it only lasts for 1 year after and they failed to tell me about that until it was to late. Great way to scam 300$ out of somebody id say.

Ordered a limited edition turntable that was available on their website. Was assured it was available but it would be about a month to wait while it was shipped from the manufacturer. No issue with that and the wait wasn't an issue but I got a surprise refund without an explanation. Emailed about the refund and got no response. Customer service needs work. (Translated) I just bought a Pro-ject turntable at this store and the store shows that the turntable is sold with an om10 cartridge ... When I received the table it had a lower quality cartridge. I contacted customer service and I was told that the company had changed the cartridge on this turntable without notifying them ... I then called the company and pro-ject confirmed to me that this table has never been marketed with the om-10. It's a liar gang in this store. In addition, the store does not want to take it back because my box is torn ... What a great adventure :-( (Original) Je viens d'acheter une table tournante Pro-ject chez ce magasin et le magasin affiche que la table tournante est vendue avec une cartouche om10...Quand j'ai reçu la table elle avait une cartouche de qualité moindre. J'ai communiqué avec le service à la clientèle et il m'on dit que la compagnie avait changé la cartouche sur cette table tournante sans les aviser...J'ai alors appelé la compagnie et pro-ject m'a confirmé que cette table n'a jamais été commercialisé avec la om-10. C'est une bande de menteur dans ce magasin. De plus, le magasin ne veut pas la reprendre car ma boite est déchirée...Quelle belle aventure :-(

I have dealt with extreme electronics for years . Numerous time have had Rico deal with stereos for my vehicles . After the treatment this time I will not be returning . Purchased a stereo for my truck on june 17th of this year. The truck needed a dash kit that needed to be ordered . Put a couple hundred dollars down payment to be ready for installment . My truck was due for installment 2 weeks later. I brought my truck in talked to the customer service guy and left my keys and truck with him , my truck was booked for a 10 am install. At 3pm I received a call from extreme telling me that they couldn't do the install as the dash kit was on back order. Being upset I asked the employee why they could not have told me that this morning when I dropped the truck off, no reason was given and he asked if I would like to speak with his manager. Brian came on the phone who is the owner. I explained to him what had happened, he told me he was not aware of the situation but he would have been the one to drop the ball on this . He explained that he would like to do something as compensation and we both agreed . A bit later I received another call from Brian saying that he could not do compensation as his employee made a mistake on charging for the dash kit and he would be losing money on this paticular item . He did promise me that it would be there in a week and he would call when it came in . 2 weeks later no phone call or follow up I went into extreme to find out what was going on . Brian was called downstairs and by his sales person if the dash kit was here. Brian's response was good question , said let me go check and he went upstairs returning a few minutes later . He explained that the company has a pallet there and they would check and get back to him later on. I wanted some answers as to why it takes an item a month come from Florida as he explained that is where it was coming from. I explained that it does not take a month for a product, you could ship it overnite or express it . His first response to me was what would you like me to do . I can cancel the order if you like. I said all I want is some answers . At this time I asked him if you were a customer and waited a month would you not want answers. His reply was no. Good customer service would have been hey let's express this or I will follow up and see where it is. But his immediate response was I can cancel this order for you . We left the store upset, the next day my wife called Shawn who was the rep. They both calmed down at this time. He said the dash kit will be in by Friday and booked us in for installation Tuesday morning A few minutes later Brian calls back says he does not want our business. This store owner was extremely confrontational and rude . I was confrontational as well but was not swearing or rude . I would highly recommend not doing business with this store and take my money to a small business that wants it and is willing to give great service not just worry about the buck .
