Very pleased with my first time using Wifi Computers! I have a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina with a totally dead laptop. I was willing to pay the $260+ dollars to get it replaced at Apple, but when I went for an appointment I was told that I would have to replace the keyboard too, which brought the total up to $700 (more than I was willing to pay). I went to Wifi and they replaced the battery for $140, no muss no fuss, fast and easy! It doesn't come with the same warranty that apple does but it's also half the price, so I'm fine with that! They promised they'd call if it turned out it would cost more than $140 and I appreciate that, as no one likes to be surprised with a higher bill than they anticipated. While I was waiting there, they had a ton of customer turnover, so it seems like quite a popular place. Will be going back next time something breaks on my laptop.

They guys are never telling what they are doing…and after a waiting a lot they finally said it will not gonna repaired…even they are not clearly defining a problem at all… I would suggest not to go this place ever…. The owner of the wireless place within (Seems like a seperate company that operates within the lease) is very friendly and honest. They get you a reasonable price and go out of their way to accomodate any needs you have. I needed the power button replaced on my phone and they got me a reasonable quote and gave me a phone to borrow while my phone was in the shop. This was two years ago and the phone still works great. I want to give 5 stars, but seeing the blunt responses the owner is giving to negative reviews is disturbing and shows a lack of professionalism.

Great little shop, they don't just fix hardware related issues like most shops but can actually fix programming related issues. They managed to reprogram the BIOS on one of my bricked laptops for less than half the cost of replacing the motherboard. This is a shop that clearly knows their stuff.

Brought my laptop to repair another repair store and left it there for about 2 months when they finally called me saying they couldn't fix the issue but still decided to charge me for diagnostic. Searched up on google some other computer stores and found WiFi Computers, brought it in to the store and was met with a great friendliness and knowledgeable guys. Left the laptop there with them and within the day they called back saying it was fixed. Cost of repair was much better then the other store and here they didn't even charge me for diagnostic. Laptop was fixed and cleaned like new, definitely recommending this place.

I have never written a review, but too often we only report on bad experiences. This place is awesome. My Mac Book had a black screen. And because I am a sceptic, I took my Mac Book to 2 differnt JUMP locations for a diagnosis & quote. Both quoted me $800ish. WiFi Computers simply reset something for a very minimal charge. OMG you have no idea how happy I was.

WiFi Computers has been my family's trusted electronics store since their opening. I've been seeing them for simple issues such as buying high quality cell phone accessories to preventing permanent damage to my brand new MacBook after spilling a beverage on it. Their service is reliable and timely. I have also had the opportunity on a few occasions to go backstage and see how much care and attention their technicians pay when looking after their customers' equipment. One thing I was missing at Best Buy or Future shop was the personal connection and you just can't get that at a big box retailer. Going to Wifi has always been a pleasant experience and Amar does a great job making you feel welcome. Definitely recommend Wifi

Best experience ever. I lost the charger for my 13.3 inch ismart laptop that was a proprietary brand sold only by Canada Computers. They didn't have it so i came here and they didn't have it either but the difference is these guys at WiFi Computers actually cared. They basically created a whole new charger by soddering 2 different chargers together! So awesome! These guys will think outside the box and really work hard to help you! Thanks so much guys! Ok, two weeks ago my alienware X51 R2 suddenly lost all display signal, all i can see is a black void when i turn on the computer. so i take my computer to "wifi computer" for a repair. On the same day i get call that notify me that it was my graphic card, which i need a replacement. Due to alienware case been relatively small, and the 330w psu my choice is very limited. so i ask for a nvidia gtx 1060, to avoid any issue i personally google and list three model for them. which are: PNY gtx 1060 cg edition part number PNY VCGGTX1060PB-CG PNY GTX 960 part number PNY VCGGTX 9604XPB Nvidia 1060 founder edition which are all the card i found that match the size of my original card- GTX 760 oem with dimension of 9.5 inch X 4.376 inch dual slot. in Addition i ask for a blower fan/external cooling/blower cooler model. since alienware X51 case is very small, and internal cooling could lead to over heating the rest of the component.. In the end after 8 days i get my pc back, they couldn't find the card that i was looking for, so i had to make do with what they got- GTX 1050 ti.. it wasn't a bad card, performance about the same as my GTX 760 oem. but with one small problem, it is open fan model.. not really what i was expecting.. but in the end it doesn't seem so bad.. CPU and GPU temperature are only roughly 7~14 degree higher.. which are still within tolerable range. During the 8 days of waiting they have contact me several times, and it seem that they have done the best they can, at one time they even attempt to repair my broken GTX 760 OEM after failing to fit any existing card in my case.. Though a little bit disappointed, but hey i get my pc working again.. and the price wasn't so bad, only $250..(the card alone cost $200). anyways,, i would recommend to repair your pc there, unless you expect a specific upgrade, since they do not seem to have the supplier for it. but they do seem to be friendly and relatively fast.

ever since i first used services at Wifi computers, the tech part of my life is sorted for good. Ive got my laptop repaired, my phone fixed and bought a lot of cool gadgets from these guys. went there to repair my broken laptop screen.. laptop was inexpensive so was not wiling to spend a fortune on the screen. he gave me a refurbished 15.6 LED for the cheapest price (significantly cheaper) among allthe shops I called.. Installed it in 15 mins....The screen looks brand new.. not a single scratch.. works perfect... and oh did i mention that he gave me 6 months warranty on this refurbished screen as well... highly recommended.

I don’t know about the computer people, but the guy who fixes phones at this place is a crook he sells refurbished phones as brand new and refuses to refund when they malfunction. Do not get your screen repaired here, the place is crowded and cluttered and the phone guy will just ignore you unless you make an effort to get help. Customer service is terrible and dishonest.

Dropped off my iPhone 7 plus because there was an issue with my audio chip that apple wouldn't fix. Apple advised that I can do a buy back option where they would buy the phone from me for only $300 or talk to my wireless provider. Both did nothing to fix the issue but instead asked to cough more money out of my pocket and that the only solution was to buy a new phone. I know that it's their faulty software, which they know due to many complaints about the same issue online. But found this place and spoke to Jag about it and he reassured me that it is fixable. He was right and fixed my phone with no issues. Now it works flawless! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Held my laptop for over a week, said it would be ready on a thursday, then said 100% the next day. . when i called they said that the technician would explain why they could not fix it.. when i went in he said my logic board was cracked. . i left the store and in my friends car opened the back of it to find the battery and parts missing / switched. . . i had to go back in to get my battery. . These guys are crooks / con artist. . i suggest noone deal with them.. if i could give ZERO STARS i would.

I highly recommend this shop. I brought my computer here for repairs this week (I had a broken laptop hinge, damaged due to terrible service I received at another computer repair shop). My laptop was ready the next day, and the price was good and exactly as quoted. The customer service was exceptional. The repair technician discussed exactly what was wrong, what he did to fix it, and what I can do to protect the hinge. The shop is on the other side of town for me, but I won't go anywhere else for computer repairs in future. I've already recommended them to others. Thanks for a great experience. Update: I had to return the following Monday for a related issue with my laptop (no fault of WiFi's original repair, just a related issue that became evident over the weekend). Once again, Amar, the repair technician, explained and showed me the problem clearly and in detail, and also explained the fix. My laptop was ready by the same evening, no charge. So impressive. This is one of the worst places to go to ,do not go here . I had a very bad experience, so I came in and my phone was cracked and everything was working fine before I gave it .After 2 weeks they called me back for me to pick up my phone. I paid $100 and when I received it I realized that they broke my home button and my camera(which they should have checked before giving it to me). Both of these things were working perfectly before I even gave my phone in so they had no business to even touch them.Then when I told them that the camera and button was working before they said to pay for them to get fixed and told me “you can’t pay 20 more dollars?” that’s messed up and a rude way to talk to someone . And then after like 2 months they said they got the parts for the camera and said they will replace it but then broke my screen afterwards and said that when they were installing it they cracked it (BE MORE CAREFUL) and installed a fake screen that was not an original and was a different colour( you should have atleast installed the correct colour). Then they said they would call me to order the actual coloured screen and haven’t called me back since like 4 months. No one should ever go here, they don’t even deserve 1 star as a rating. Many people have complained about the same problem. Excuse me when will my black screen be back that u guys broke and gave a fake white screen. This is so annoying it’s been months now and no one has called me back when u said u would.

Superb customer service. I called into the store about my MacBook Air wifi issue due to water damage and was explained two possible faults. Wifi card damaged or some connection problem. The owner said that he could resolve it right away. As soon as I arrived I was looked after and the root cause of the problem was figured out in less than 10 minutes. The issue was not the wifi card itself but the electrical connectors that required cleaning. They said bring it to the store . When i went again he said he would charge me again for the same issue . He started form 80$ ..and stopped at 50$ . They ask to come over the store in covid pandemic and cannot accept that issue has not been solved and will always offer the high charges for a repair.

I have been here on 3 separate occassions. The first time, my Mac kept shutting down and the Apple Store quoted me $870 to change the motherboard. Amin and his team fixed the problem for $60 (the blown fan was causing the computer to overheat). The second time, the same computer crashed a year later and wouldn't turn on. I took it to Geek Squad because a relative had a membership. Geek Squad said they couldn't fix the issue. They also said they couldn't retrieve all my data. Wifi Computers fixed the issue for $300 and were able to save all my data (some repair with the video chip). These guys know what they are doing and they don't rip you off. That's all I have to say. I have sent many people to them becuase of their expertise and trust. Thank you guys! My 2013 Macbook pro is still going strong.

I had my battery replaced in my MacBook Air, charger repaired, and I also purchased a new one. The new one stopped working after 24 hours. My repaired one works great and I'm happy with the battery replacement. I called the day the charger stopped working and they agreed to replace but not provide a refund. (See UPDATE below :-). Not happy to drive another 30 minutes each way to do so. Despite this, I must say they were very helpful, quick and friendly. UPDATE: I was contacted by Amar, the owner, who is etransering a refund and sending me a return label so I don't have to drive back to Brampton. He explained they have an excellent refund policy but that I had spoken to a newer staff member when I inquired. I would highly recommend Wifi Computers. Service doesn't get much better than that!

BEWARE: Would NOT recommend this repair shop. Had an issue with my 2012 Macbook pro fan which needed 4 pins to be soldered back on. When I called this shop, they were not willing to provide a rough quote over the phone. Told me I have to come in person. When I arrived, waited in line for 10 minutes. Then approached by the person who I spoke to over the phone and was told for a simple solder job would be $350 or MORE. Not only did they waste my time but wanted to charge a REDICULOUS amount for a such a simple job. Ended up going elsewhere, who only charged me $60...but ended up giving him $80 for his honest work.

I do not know about the guys who service or sell computers there but the Cell phone guy is a fraudster, he sold me a brand new phone and said its unlocked, My dad took that to India and put a sim in it. Now it says enter unlock pin. After many calls this guy responded and said google locks the phone automatically and it costs to get the code. I contacted the Samsung support and they said this is not right google does not lock any phone. I have all the text history with him and chat history with samsung, if anybody wants to verify in case.

I took my phone here about 8 years back, I remember the work these guys did it was phenomenal, the precision they used when soldering a micro port back into my phone was on point these guys know what they are doing and they dont rob you instead of fixing my broken unit they swapped it out for a new peice. The place i took my phone to before (not wifi computers) kept refixing the same broken unit because they wanted my 30 days of warranty to run out. But these guys are very different they are honest and diligent with their work. Recently I took an old laptop in for repairs a damaged cable that was causing my hard drive to fail. A+ Service, Very pleased, will return in the future if I have tech. issues. Trackpad+Keyboard stopped working on my 2015 MacbookPro 13'' retina display laptop. Took it to apple, they told me it was the logic board or something like that causing the issue, cost to repair $450. Researched on youtube/google on how to fix it myself, turns out it happens consistently with my specific model and it's because of a faulty cable not the logic board. Cable costs $10-15 on amazon plus another $15-20 for the tools to open the computer etc... Before ordering I took it to this location. In a 5 minute time span the technician opened it up, readjusted the loose wire and had it working again all right in front of me. He didn't charge me because he said there was no point all he did essentially was plug it in and out. He said IF he had to actually replace the wire he'd need 30mins-1hr and the charge would be $20 (cheaper and faster than doing it myself). The guy who helped me explained what he was doing both before and during the process. As a university student $$ is always tight, the person here was very reasonable and felt he only would charge me if he could justify the reason. Although I was willing to pay, he didn't charge me for unplugging/readjusting the cable. Whereas he'd charge me if he actually had to replace anything, which is an extremely reasonable way to think in modern society where larger stores typically overcharge you for them just opening the laptop. I'm very pleased with the service I've received from here. It was my first time going to any sort of tech. repair shop. I can't speak for every person that works their, but the technician who handles fixing the computer hardware was excellent.

It was Friday night half an hour before closing and the guys over at WiFi Computers didn't bat an eye at my request to perform some diagnostics for some used parts I was planning on buying. Although we had inconvenienced them by staying after their closing, they were kind enough to provide the service without charge out of kindness! All I can say is that the guys at WiFi Computers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, the service was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Very impressed with the service. I spoke briefly on the phone with Amarbir about the issues i was having and brought my Macbook pro in to Wifi computers in Brampton. I thought i knew what the issue was because of speaking with other repair services in the area and when i brought it in Amarbir he showed me exactly what was wrong with it and what was needed and repaired it on the spot. It was a very minor internal fix and in all honesty they could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me a lot more and replaced things that didn't need replacing and i wouldn't have known the difference, BUT instead they charged me for exactly what was necessary and gained a happy customer . I am very impressed with the service they provided and how quick it was and i will definitely refer and recommend anyone i know to them.

My MacBook Pro stopped working and I was on the phone with the apple tech for like 30min and they weren't able to help me and said I had a hardware problem which needed to be checked at the Apple Store. I decided to get my laptop check at this place and they were able to fix it right away! I call them the phone gods!!! Within a month they cane to my rescue! 1st time my toddler locked me out of my phone. I came to them and within hours they restarted my phone. I lost a lot due to not backing up my files correctly. I got educated and got set up properly. 2 weeks later my phone accidentally dropped in water. I immediately put it in a bag of rice that helped but then realized hours later I couldn't charge my phone because there was Rice in the charging hole. Within 2 secs he plugged out the rice with a pin and had me on my way without charging a penny!!???????????????? 3rd time I almost killed my toddler son again for throwing my phone down the basement that gave me a black screen. I was in a panic because in 2 days I was having my daughter dedicated and needed a phone to communicate to my guest. I ran to them and I don't know what type of magic they worked but had it restored without charging me a penny because I had a good phone case cover, nothing was broken inside! I was sooo grateful and in tears I begged to pay even gave a $20.00 tip but got rejected numerous attempts! I am super super super grateful and they have a customer for life because they really do care and it's not about the money!!

Will I visit Wifi computers again? Yes indeed. Are they professional? No doubt, very professional team and very supportive. Are they expensive? It depends on the meaning of expensive, if you need quality you have to be fair, they are fair in their pricing and I trust them now on. Are they recommended? This is my experience, bought a router that is apparently the best out there but nobody mentioned how complicated it would be to install. Called the company for support and they said I would need to buy software to prevent viruses and that would cost me over $200 before assisting me with the router installation - no thanks! Called the geek squad and I would have to wait some time and they charge like $100. Somehow I stumbled across wifi computers, thanks to my wife, and not only did they help me install it (in three minutes) but there was no charge. It is hard to come across good honest people. Called asking if they had a 200ft ethernet cable, thought I’d give them a chance over Best Buy. Bad idea. The guy who answered the phone refused to tell me the price and instead told me to “come to the store for a good price.” What a joke. Especially during Covid, you’d think they would have the decency to tell a potential customer the price of a product without forcing them to come in. To top it all off, they had a line of people waiting outside the store. All this to inquire about a price of a product. Skip this store it’s terrible.

I had a major power issue with my laptop and couldn't find a remedy for it. Wifi computers got it fixed and ready within a couple days. It's amazing. My sister broke my brothers laptop, a week ago so we went to go fix it. There was no hardware issues, it was just the screen frame that was coming off. When we went there, there were nice employees. The price to fix the frame was $80 dollars. If you went to Best Buy or another big company to fix your laptop, it would probably range from $250 - $400. I am really proud of this company, and would recommend it to you all. The after product, was amazing. They cleaned it making it look shiny and new, and they fixed it perfectly!!!!!!!!

My daughter’s laptop would not turn on and so I took it to Best Buy (Geek Squad). The technician said that the problem is related to the dc connector and that it would cost $150 and that it would be sent out for repair for 2-4 weeks. After 10 days they called me back to pick up the laptop. They could not repair it because Sony doesn’t make laptops any more. Aside from the DC connector they said that the motherboard is dead and if they have parts it would cost around $450 plus $150 for the DC connector. Thank God that I found these guys over the internet and called them to bring the laptop in. After 5 min they diagnosed it and said that the DC connector is OK but that one part on the motherboard had a shortage and had to be replaced. In 30 minutes the laptop was working. For that repair they charged me $120 + tax. I couldn’t imagine how much it would cost me at Best Buy. Thanks guys. Highly recommended.

The service was wonderful. They fixed my MacBook, which Apple would not fix because they no longer carried the part to fix it themselves as it is older than 5 years and is therefore 'vintage'. They fixed it in 15 minutes while I waited at the store and did it for the same price, if not cheaper than Apple (this part had broken in my own computer 3 times before). Highly recommend, and will go back again.
