Had my laptop dead for 2 years, he was able to figure out the issues, there was water damage in the motherboard, he was able to fix it super fast and cheap. Overall very happy with my experience. He was quick, honest, and knowledgeable. He gave a free diagnosis and while other places were ready to charge me just for a diagnosis or had an expensive repair ready, he saw my laptop had no problem and didn't charge me anything in the end. I requested a quote from a few places in the area and landed on this one due to the free diagnosis, late closing, and how easy it was to get to (right next to the 410). I ended up being late by a few hours but he was understanding. I dropped off my laptop after explaining to him what had happened and he was already telling me what could be wrong with it and asking specific questions. He tells me he can't make any promises due to the late hour but would try to get back to me asap. He messages me less than an hour later telling me my charger was busted. He says he has a replacement but doesn't pressure me to buy it when I tell him I know someone with a spare. He shows me my working laptop and I leave. Another place was ready to charge me $160 or more to fix the laptop while another wanted to charge me just for a diagnosis. I got lucky here.

About two months ago my Lenova Thinkpad (2.5 yrs old) started intermittently crashing with different bluescreen stop codes. I tried troubleshooting drivers, then took it to where I purchased it twice but still had random bluescreen crashes. Neil's team repaired the motherboard and power button and tested it over 4 days. Neil is a lifesaver!!! A few days ago my daughter accidentally spilled chocolate milk over her laptop keyboard and it stopped working. I cannot begin to explain how lucky I was to come across Neighborhood Computer & Laptop Repairs online. Neil was honest, professional and transparent. Amazing and professional service, my laptop wouldn't turn on so i went to best buy and they said it would take up to five business days. Then i tried my luck at another store and they said the same thing plus it would be around $175-$190 to repair the problem plus an additional $100 if I wanted to keep the data in it. I called Neighborhood Computer and Laptop Repair and they fixed it for me within 4 hours and it cost way less. Neil is amazing! I had a crack in the plastic border around my screen and I needed to get it fixed quickly to avoid potential damage to the actual screen. I tried calling 4 other computer repair shops and they told me they would need to take my computer for two to three weeks just to provide my with an estimate. Neil was able to provide the estimate within 48 hours and all I had to do was send him a picture of my laptop. When I brought it to him, he fixed in about 15 minutes while I waited in my car for a very reasonable price. He also responded to all my questions and concerns via email very promptly. I went here about a month ago. He was able to fix my pc fairly quickly too quickly as I approached him I asked him what had went wrong as the wifi symbol was not showing. He stated he could not tell his secrets or he wouldn’t get paid. I found that odd because I did not ask for the solution I just wanted to know what had gone wrong. But I left it alone. I told him that I had just wanted confirmation that it would not happen again he said that he was certain that it would not and if it did he would walk me through how to fix it on the phone and would not require me to bring it back in. When I asked how much he stated how much should I charge you as he thought to him self. He stated should I charge you a lot ok give me one hundred. Of course the wifi symbol ended up going away again and I reminded him of the agreement we made. He stated that I would have to bring it in and after he looks at it he would tell me if there is a price or not. I immediately decided to take it elsewhere where I was charged twenty dollars because of course it was a quick fix. I will never go here again i am a student and to be honest taking advantage of people that may not be aware or not even trying to explain the issue is poor customer service the one star is because it worked for a month. I am thankful that I did not review right away and waited.
