I have never been more embarrassed and felt ripprd of more than my dealings with Maple Electronics. I purchased a used iphone 5s for my son In june 2018 and was told if there were any problems with the phone to bring it in with my reciept and it would be taken care of.When i charged the phone the battery Lasted less than 2 hours so i returned to the store. When i produced my reciept and explained the issue was told it would be 2 hours to repair.They never called me back so I returned to the store and was told that I did not buy the phone there(evan though I had reciept)!!!! Nothing was done to repair the issue and I will never recommend this business to anyone ever.!!! Owner was very rude and refused to believe me so I would recommend staying away from this business.

Do not come here. I dropped my HTC M8 and cracked the screen. These guys said they would do a one day repair and give me a loaner phone, plus they had the screen in stock so they were the much more convenient option. Thought I would take a chance on them rather than sending the phone away to the manufacturer for weeks. They wanted to charge 190 for the repair and said they had done my model of phone before and it would be no problem. First of all they took longer than they had said- I had to pick up the phone the morning after they said it was going to be available, but that's not the major problem. They seriously messed up my phone. It looks like they tried to get into it with a butter knife. The sides are all bent and scratched. The screen install isn't right either; the screen sits higher than the original making an annoying ridge and protruding from the rest of the phone. I can even push on the screen in places and it will flex inward because there is space behind. They gave me $30 off but that's not nearly worth the damage they did to the phone. This thing looks like crap now, I'm really pissed about it. Total amateurs running a shady business. Go somewhere else for your repair.

Always stand behind their work and unlike other places, if they can't fix it, they don't charge you. You can't beat that.

I couldn’t find a case for a new iPhone that I bought. Called the guy and asked if he had cases available, he said that yes he had cases in all price points. So I said “great, I’ll be there right away”. When I got there the door was locked and there was a sign that said be back in 20 minutes. I’m sure they have nice cases for cheap, but I will never know. Went to a Sasktel store and ended up massively overpaying.

After finding out that buying a new phone was not possible I decided to look into the repair of my Samsung. Then gents at Maple Electronics quickly provided a reasonable quote and repaired my phone within a few hours. Exceptional service at a great price.

Excellent service! My iPhone was repaired within fifteen minutes or less. The staff gave me an excellent price, along with a promotion. I contacted several cell phone repair companies previous to Maple Electronics. They informed me that my phone was beyond repair, or quoted repair at a more costly price. Thank you Maple staff, you are an outstanding establishment!

I came here to get my Phone unlocked after the contract was completed. On the phone they said they would do it for 20 dollars. In the store they said 25. That was fine, i don't mind paying 25. . They said return in one hour. Came back wasn't done, they said they were still awaiting the code. Thats fine. I told them just to call me when its done. One day passed, two days passed. Came to the third day and i decided to call them to see how they made out. They said it was done. So i came down. It wasn't done. They couldn't even find my phone. And they didn't understand i dropped my phone off. They instead wanted to sell me another phone. I said they have my phone and i wanted it unlocked. It wasn't unlocked still! So i waited until they did it. They did it while i was there. Perfect. But why couldnt they have done this before? After much confusion now it was time to pay. They discussed in there language something. Think something about how much will he pay. I don't know. So they told me 30 dollars. I said i was told first 20, then 25 by the gentleman serving me. So i gave them a 40 and they gae me 2 5 dollar bills and some coins. I was in a rush because a colleague was waiting for me outside. I checked my changed, and they ripped me off. They gave me a looney and 4 quarters. I really don't care about the money, but the fact that they were intentionally ripping me off made me angry. So i'm giving them a very poor review. Next time i would have gladly just given 50 dollars to Telus to unlock it. Do not shop here. Everything you can find in that store you can easily find on ebay for cheaper.

Easily the best phone repair experience I've ever had. The staff was excellent, accomadating my needs. I was offered a deal as well, lowering the price which was already reasonable. They said an hour, I showed up about 45 minutes afterwards, and they already had it done. Very reliable and my phone is fully fixed. I would easily recommend this place to anyone stressing over a broken phone.

Don't ever go here to unlock phone they will just keep you waiting for a period of time. They said to unlock for two days I wait for days and its been 12 days phone still lock . This store will rip you off.

Brought my s5 in to get my screen replaced. Two corners of the screen were lifting up. They didn't seal it properly. 28 days later on my "month warranty" my screen stopped working. I bring it in and they won't fix it because they find a little bit of moisture in the phone. The s5 is supposed to be waterproof and has never been submerged. So they won't warranty it. Awful customer service. Ignore all of my messages and they don't stand behind their word. Will never go to this place again. Hawk mobile is better priced and they don't jerk you around and lie to you.

Dropped my phone off almost a week ago to get the screen fixed, was told it'd be done the next day after 1, came back two days in a row, it wasn't fixed. They took the broken screen off and said that the phone wasn't working and that they were trying to fix it it and showed it to my boyfriend. A few days later we went back and for some reason they had put the broken screen back on my phone, not sure what they were doing to it but all I wanted was my screen fixed, which they didn't do. Really frustrated with them because now my screen is in worse condition and I'm almost wondering if they broke to a point it can't be fixed.

Replaced with cheap parts and wouldn't refix! Paid 280 bucks to get my screen fixed, they didnt use the correct glass and the motherboard all of a sudden went a week later. They refused to fix when i went in saying it was my fault and something was wrong with the mother board..seems kinda suspisious..

Bought a phone bout 1.5 months ago from them. Paid 140$ for the phone with a case, fair service and such but i only got a 30 day warranty, and while i encased the phone put a screen protector on it and took Very good care of it and used it LIGHTLY, the phone one day froze up locked up and now doesnt work at all regardless of what i try or do. Unacceptable, Won't be bothered to buy another device from them.

Said they could repair my broken screen in one week but had to order parts. 2 weeks later I call and they tell me they can't get parts and had just never bothered to call me back. Also had a lap top repaired here once and it came with a dead pixel in the screen. They said they'd order me another but again, just never did. AVOID THIS BUSINESS

Excellent service from Maple Electronics. Very recently I had them look at a cell phone that would not power up due to water damage. Despite the phone being too far gone, they did their best to try to get it working. They didn't even charge me for the diagnosis and got to it very quickly!

Cost a lot more money and a lot more time than agreed to. I should have paid more attention to other poor reviews. I basically ended up losing a day of vacation waiting for a screen replacement on an iPhone. After the first delay, I told them to just give me my phone back so I could go elsewhere, but they couldn’t because they had it taken apart. I said to just put it back together and give it back to me. But they said they needed to close their shop for an hour and would have it fixed then. Of course they were not done in an hour. I’ve actually just spent the last 1/2 hour in their store creating a google account so I could leave a review about the terrible service here. If I could rate it lower than a 1 I would have. Finally got my phone back. Looks ok but they charged me extra for - wait for it... wait for it... wait for it...”the rush job”.
