Bought a cheap mic that didn't work, they don't offer refunds so I took the credit, and bought a better mic that ALSO didn't work. They don't test the things they get either so multiple trips to find that out. Brought the second mic back and they didn't even have another one for me to try so I had to settle for a game that I didn't really even want. I'd rather have my money back than waste my time. Never going back.

This store is very nice...and prices seem fair overall. Amazing selection, what a collection of retro games...But...there are some issues to mention, There are some strange things they do to watch out for, for example if you sift through the store, as any customer would, and you find a game you want, at checkout they may go to the back and grab a different version to match it... so say you picked out a certain game for ps3/xbox360/Gamecube/WiiU, etc., and you see it on the floor, bring it to the front, then they may give you a different version from the back. So you think you're getting what you see on the floor, but they have more copies in the back, as in it could be a cracked/damaged case, covered in old stickers, missing manual, scratched disc, etc. It's as if they don't even take the time to clean most of them to be honest. I recently purchased several games, one was a different version from what I picked from the floor, they gave me a "greatest hits" version but I picked out the original, it also had no manual, but the floor model showed the manual and original black label version (as a collector I'm picky and only want black label "original" games, CIB), also another game had their "new" sticker on it but the disc had smudges and scratches all over. Another used game was scratched up really bad, deep scratches and fingerprints, they should be checking every game...For several of the games I purchased I literally had to get out the Goo Gone, 99% IPA, Q-tips and micro-fiber cloths. To be honest, lately I've had cleaner looking games and boxes from Value Village... I think the main issue is that they don't properly clean their consoles, games and accessories (at least the lower end ones, not the very expensive rare old consoles, games, etc.). Obviously they do resurface disc games as most do, but for example if you buy a used console, which I did, it's still stained and greasy from whoever owned it before, at least mine was full of dust and debris, especially the controller it came with, such a nasty controller, it did not even have a general wipe down with a cloth or alcohol pad, just gross, crud all over it, and they put it into a ziploc bag as if it were cleaned. if I ran my own shop like this I would at least take the time to clean the items that get traded in to sell to the customer, that's pretty sad, the fact they charge $40 for ps3 and xbox 360 controllers in 2020 and they are worn out and disgusting is kinda messed up in my opinion...

Probably the best selection of retro games I have ever seen in one store. They had almost everything I could ever want (unfortunately I was just passing through town on a trip and could not buy anything). The prices were reasonable on most items. Will be coming back.

Long time customer. Cant stop recommending this place for anyone into collectibles. Insane assortment of comics(huge key issues!), new and retro gaming, statues and action figures floor to ceiling. They got all the strategy board and card games. If you're within 90 minutes and like to geek out just stop in. Experienced friendly staff make the experience that much better.

Overpriced products , extremely rude owner, ignorant all around. Has the potential to be a great store if they would change the terrible attitude twords paying customers and actually look at the condition of there games and systems. At 130$ for a ps vita they are the most expensive in town , where as other shops are cheaper , better quality and have a proper return process. Hired staff is nice and approachable , if you get one of them your in the clear. The owners however are extremely difficult and unapproachable. That being said they have a great selection of toys and other collectables , mind you a lot of it is very over priced aswell. Final word is : do your research on the item your looking at in this store , 9 times out of 10 you will find it cheaper and most likely in better condition.

Hey. The personally enjoy the place and it's selection of games but this Thursday I went over and bought Ducktales for the NES. Along with the outside of the cartridge being very dirty, the insides must've been to. Even after multiple methods of cleaning the cartridge the game wouldn't load on my Retron 5 system and would always get a sign saying "ERROR: failed to dump ROM". So perhaps I could either get a refund or some recommendations on how to get the game to properly work? EDIT: Thank you, I'll be in the area next week so I'll come by then.

I brought games off Facebook market place I got them the next day. I went to the store and was blown away from the amount of gamecube games cib gameboy games 3ds games ect.. I collect video games and every corner there was a gem. I also found a rare 3ds cave story they had it in stock. The best thing about this store is that they chrage less then ebay prices. Would recommend to all to give them business. To all my fellow video collectors check them out.

I had to drive over 2.5 hours to come to P Market, but it was well worth it. I had a bunch of retro video games to sell, some quite high value, and I was worried about getting ripped off. Peter T. (the owner) is a really decent guy. I think some stores are preoccupied with small $ amounts or their rent is too high or something. Peter is not like this. In hindsight, it's been a real pleasure dealing with him and I'm fortunate that I went to the right place. Peter will give you a fair deal in the end. You should research the market to find out what your stuff might be worth in general, but don't think that this makes you an authority on the actual market price as these kinds of stores deal in the real world every day and actually sell these things with firsthand experience.

Bought a laptop paired with a charger that wasn't even made buy the same manufacturer. Did not charge the battery in the the laptop, just allowed it to stay on. (Dell laptop, hp charger). Anyone who can't pair a laptop with a charger, has some serious problems. Paid 400 dollars for an iphone 6s 32gb had the factory seal on the screen and everything. Contacted apple they said it was okay through their system. Meaning that pmarket bought this phone and didn't take the initiative to make sure the imei number was clear of theft or overpaid bills. After four months it was reported stolen or had an over due bill from the last owner and was blacklisted. It was cut off by Koodo, and Telus, meaning(unpaid bill). Technically pawnshops aren't even supposed to sell cell phones for this specific reason. Someone can get a phone for free cancel their plan. Then sell the phone to a pawnshop, wait until its bought and report it stolen. Or sell a phone with a bill owing. The seller(scam artist that found loophole in the system) gets a new phone mailed to them, pawnshop takes your cash, and you get a phone blocked by most carriers. The only person getting screwed is the customer. Brought the phone into pmarket they said they would pay me 1/4 of what I paid because it is now a broken product. Now it's essentially an over priced mini ipad. Woot! Woot! Thanks a lot pmarket. Appreciate the help

If you like stores with an awful atmosphere, this is the place to go! There were two people working there (presumably), and one made it very obvious she was in charge in the worst way imaginable. In front of paying customers, she berated and belittled the guy for just doing his job! Not to mention she also wasn't very friendly to the customers while I was there. Then, with the store very busy, she just left! The poor man left working while she took "took a break" looked very overwhelmed. I don't know why he still works there, but that's none of my business. I talked to a few of my friends about this, and apparently this is a regular occurrence. Absolutely disgusting.

I'm not sure if it was just us, but I'd never recommend going to P Market. We brought in a few systems and got low balled excessively. We were offered $120 while Chumleighs downtown offered $245+. Don't get hassled for your games/items when there IS way better options.

I came to Pmarket games just a little place so I didn't have much hope. It's very much worth the drive to Belleville if you're a Retro video game enthusiast. This place has a wide selection of games for PS3, N64, NES, Sega Genesis, PS2, etc. as well as the more obscure systems (Sega CD, Sega Master System, etc.). They also have great bundles of full consoles complete with games that they were nice enough to test prior to my purchase. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Store also has a lot of POP! figures, Board games, TVs, Action figures, Magic: The Gathering cards, etc. etc. The store could benefit from some better merchandising but given the large size, it's a great afternoon looking through everything if you're interested in what they sell.

Simply the best vintage gaming store I know of from at least 20 others. Worth the 3 hour ride from the KW. This store is literally a gaming and collectibles heaven, with almost every vintage games your heart desires. I got myself a batch of retro Nintendo games all in their original boxes and Manuel's and everything, all in excellent condition for the price you pay. One thing I will say that really stood out in my experience here among any other game store iv'e been to, is the level of transparency regarding all the games and collectibles, literally speaking. I was shocked to find a vast private area with glass cased/cabinets full of all their gaming collections, and many more around the room on shelves reaching to the ceiling with consoles and toys and many other vintage collectibles. I really appreciated the feeling of privacy and no one following me around in the room/store, I felt free to take as much time i needed to look around and be a kid agian with wonder. But I really appreciate how all their games are laid out for you to see, and be able to pick your choice of game among multiple copies all in great condition. The employees really know how to give you space, respect and the liberty to pick and choose what you want. It is too. Too often in pawn shops and vintage game stores there is secrecy, and all the major collectibles are kept in the backroom, and a hesitation to bring out what you want, especially if it's rare or in good condition, and always a tension to push you to buy something or get out type of attitude. I am just very pleased with my experience with the customer service, my purchases and the overall atmosphere of the store. Will officially make this my fav game/collectibles store and would recommend it to anyone!

Impossible to get through the phone... Been calling for a Half hour and it just keeps saying No one is currently available. I understand you have customers on the phone also.. but 30 minute calls I would consider to be excessive. Other then that Fair prices, and good face to face service.
