Brought my laptop in because I locked myself out by accident (I had an email attached to my windows account to log into my computer and I forgot my password and tried too many times so could not get back in no matter what I tried) and the service was incredible. He was able to take all of my pictures and stuff off, and put onto a USB , and he also put a copy of them back onto the laptop itself after he reset everything. He installed the new windows ten and made sure there was NO password (thank goodness). Any other place I called wanted to charge me an arm and a leg AND wouldn't have it done for a few days at least. I got an amazing price and got my laptop back a couple hours later. Highly recommend. When I got my laptop back, i discovered the keyboard was not working, but that was not their fault at all. The windows 10 update has bugs that are messing with peoples documents and computers and in my case it deleted my keyboard sensor (I just want to let people know that if they update their computer and things are missing, its probably windows 10). I am BEYOND happy with the service I received here and will be returning with any computer needs I may have in the future!

Be careful what you buy from these guys. They put a faulty hard drive in the computer they sold me and did not replace it when it came back to them the next day with a boot device not found error. I purchased the computer at the end of April with a 500gb hard drive. The first day I had it, it gave me a "boot device not found" error. I called th store and was told I'd have to return it so they could fix it. When I got it back, it worked ok for a little over a month and then started giving me the same error. I called the store and left a message about the error, asking why I was getting the error again. I kind of felt that if it wasn't working at the beginning, perhaps they would still honor the 30 day warranty. Well, I am still waiting for my call back. I went elsewhere for service and was told the hard drive was cooked and I need a new one. I should have bought new to start with. This one has now cost me new price and I still have a lousy computer.

I've been in here a couple times for minor phone repairs (my charging port keeps breaking ????) They replace it quickly and without doing any damage, which is pretty tricky on an iPhone! Nice staff, knowledgeable, really good prices on repairs.

I got my computer there 5 years ago and used it for thousands of hours of gaming,editing and browsing.The pc has lots of expansion options and has well know and trusted parts.I also hand some malware issue with it and they gave me a clear answer of what was going on and how to fix it.I would also say that the Quebec avenu Location is more reliable then the 8th street one for the Quebec location has more experienced employees.I recommend Uniway to any amateur who needs a pc and a professional to help you know a bit more about computers.

I have been there numerous times over the years for cell phone repairs, every time they have fixed them perfectly and for very decent rates. To the one star complainers, if you buy a used laptop/computer the risk you get is that it may fail. You can't expect a long warranty on a used item. Hence why people buy new.

I went in to repair my laptop's solid state drive. The one they put in is 256 GB. I could have gone to Memory Express and gotten a 1 TB SSD for 10 dollars less, AND they didnt even tell me the ssd they put in is USED!!

Needed to get a laptop for my son. I had purchased a refurbished laptop from another store. Had problems with it and returned and then got one from Uniway. The same model was about $100 less at Uniway. Everything is working well and Im very happy. I would highly recommend purchasing from Uniway. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is very minor. The laptop had a lot of dust on it. They really could have hit it with one of the aircans charged me an extra $5-10 and I would be totally happy.

All I can say is they fixed my friends' ipad mini super fast for a great price. We needed it badly and had dropped it and broke all the glass earlier that previous day. They had it ready for us first thing in the morning.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Bought two laptops from this place, and in less than a year, they are both useless. Went back to the store, and was told one was not repairable, as the graphics card had failed. The other one, he offered to fix for $110. He did offer, to take more of my money though, and had the nerve to try to sell me another computer. Please save your money, and shop somewhere that sells quality products, and stands behind them!

Purchased a Dell monitor from them, but the backlight went borked overnight. However, I returned the monitor and got a replacement absolutely no hassle. Would totally recommend if you are after for cheap computer monitor or computer system, and if ever it got broken, just be reasonable and they will help you for sure.

My visit to Uniway Computers on Quebec Avenue was a distasteful visit. Do not buy any computer parts from this place it has bad vibes and they sold me my gpu $600 over msrp. If you need any computer parts please go to Memory express which is a block away.

Went there with a broken laptop screen. Because of the price charged to replace it I decided to go with one laptop the guy suggested to me. Happened to overheat and to be slower than my original one. He offered to repaired my old one but charged me for a " new" hard drive that he already put in.The "new" hard drive is less in capacity than the previous one. O well. Be aware.

I purchased a HP ProDesk 400 G1 SFF for 200$ from them last week, it came in the mail this morning. It was packaged well with bubble wrap and there was no damage to the external of the machine. First thing I did was open the case--everything inside was clean. Cables management was excellent, nothing out of place everything tucked away. All cables seem to be plugged in to their sockets correctly. The SDD that was included was a brand I haven't heard of called "Team Group". It seems to have fine speeds and I have no qualms considering the price of the machine. I added my Lexar SDD as a slave while I was in there. The CPU cooling fan is a Cooler Master. PSU looks like the stock 240 watt and the RAM is 2x4GB 1600mhz by HP. The OS is a clean install of Windows 10, doesn't have the bloatware that you get from OEM's. Huge bonus there. I'll be throwing a GT 1030 in it tomorrow and will take pictures of the inside and post them. I am very happy with the quality of this refurbish. I will certainly be coming back for any PC needs in the future. Thank you Uniway team!

Brought my laptop in to get a specific part replaced. Asked the person to call me and let me know if they had the right part which he called and confirmed that they had the right part. Went in to pick it up the next day and found out they used a second-hand part from a different version of the laptop. The computer is operable but exterior doesn't line up at all, nor is it the same colour, and it's easy to tell that the part was forced to fit.

Absolutely terrible iPhone replacement screens. They are cheaply priced but you get what you pay for. I have experienced 2 replacement screens from these guys and they just Crack a week later. I dropped my phone on carpet and it cracked. my girlfriends screen is not responsive to her touch anymore after about a month after replacing it. garbage quality. 10/10 would not recommend. Go find a better place for 20-30 bucks more. you will thank me later.

Cheap iphone screen, broke again in a few weeks, then paid again for another screen replace. My advice is to get your lifesaver case before your original screen broke. It saves the money and protect you from getting into the scam of cheap iphone screen replacement.

Sincere, efficient and beyond expectations Water spilled on the keyboard of my HP laptop, preventing it from starting. I came to this store, the staff told me to leave the computer, wait for a day to check the cause of the failure, the inspection is free, and will be charged if need repairs. After 3 hours, I received a call from the staff, the fault was removed, the reason for the water, because there was no replacement parts, so there was no charge. Because of this store, I like this city more.
